Very good inexpensive food and if you are not one of the first 50 guests when the restaurant opens, you can get a seat and be served quickly...

The food 10 out of 10 really tasty, served warm, waiting time is ok too. What I liked most were the staff, they were so friendly and helpful, we felt really taken care of. I can't wait to go back.

If you want good and very cheap food, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is medium in size and typically furnished. The service is quick and attentive. The prices are unbeatable.

Friendly service, the prices are really right here, we were pleasantly surprised when we read the menu. At first I thought this was an old menu, for example. You can't get tzatziki for 2.50 euros anywhere anymore. Prices from 10.00 euros, drink prices also OK. We'll be eating here more often a month now 👍

We always enjoy coming here! The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! The restaurant has been run by the same family for decades and you are warmly welcomed and looked after. Example: Yesterday I ordered beans in tomato sauce as a starter. Unfortunately a spoon was missing, but after a quick inquiry the innkeeper even brought us two spoons and a round of ouzo. Afterwards we all laughed heartily and hugged each other.

I ordered several dishes to take away. The first time I wasn't offered ouzo at a Greek restaurant. Not a big deal because the food was very tasty. I'll definitely try it again soon. Maybe there will also be a 5 star 🌟 for the service.

A friend ordered takeaway food over the phone. It said it would be ready in 15 minutes. He wants to pick up the order on site, an employee is about to give the food, the boss intervenes. You can't get the food, you called 1 minute early. ??? No joke. Then just answer the phone when it's convenient.

Great Greek restaurant. Good choice. The interior is a bit old. Portions great. I.d. Usually the dishes are always well prepared and the meat is always juicy, but the fish, in contrast, is often fried to death. Changes, especially in the many dishes with liver, are discussed. Still recommended and get there early, otherwise you have to wait or take something with you.

Today I was served so disrespectfully, I was waiting for a friend with my girlfriend, we already got something to drink and waited... then the boss came, took our glasses from the table and said the table was reserved even though there was nothing there, then we had to get up and at the end we drank our drinks. It's just unbelievable, it's never happened to me in my life just because we were still waiting for our girlfriend. And they can only afford that because they're so cheap. Will never enter the store again

I was there to order takeout. Food is delicious, cozy restaurant, friendly service, the food is ready quickly and the prices are cheap.

Meteora has gone really bad. This used to be a really great restaurant, but not anymore. The service is an absolute disaster. The waiter is so unfriendly, doesn't write down the dishes or special requests properly and if you then complain about something, you as the guest are of course to blame. At times the gentleman also stinks of sweat and you can tell that he doesn't really feel like doing his job. It all just takes an eternity until the menu is brought out, until the order is taken and by the time the drinks arrive you are thirsty. But the meal usually comes relatively quickly. Ordering another drink is also really difficult and if everyone doesn't order drinks at the same time, but gradually the waiter just gets loudly annoyed and shows it to you. Hospitality no longer exists here! Reservations are also often forgotten. As a larger group, you don't have the chance to sit together because the rooms don't allow for this. The food is ok, but nothing more. Here too the quality has gone down completely. The prices are super cheap and so of course you can't expect good quality. Unfortunately, I often have stomach aches and sometimes stomach cramps after eating. For me it was the last time here and I really can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My visit to the Greek restaurant Meteora was truly enjoyable. The meals were extremely delicious and carefully prepared. Small Greek with low prices but the quality is just right. I liked the atmosphere but I really missed Greek hospitality there. I won't go there again.

Everything was very tasty and I can only recommend it. You should be aware in advance that card payments are not possible. The cappuccino is also just black coffee with spray cream... but you don't actually drink that at a Greek restaurant.

It's unbelievable that you can still eat so well at these prices. A week before I was in another Greek restaurant, where the prices were easily 50% higher, but the portions weren't any bigger. My conclusion: Tasty and inexpensive. Be sure to order in advance, the store is always full.

Incomprehensible!! I am more than shocked and above all angry about what we had to experience there today. We've been there countless times for years, today was the last time! We were there as a family with our 2 small children. And it started with the drinks order, only 2 drinks were noted and while I expressed my drink request, the waitress simply walked away without comment. When the food was brought we noticed that instead of the mayonnaise we had ordered, there was only ketchup. When we asked politely whether we could please have the mayonnaise, the waitress left without comment. We then shouted “Excuse me?!” And then it started... He turned around and started yelling and screaming like crazy and took our plates away again and loudly said we should go eat somewhere else! We were shocked and speechless. He didn't stop screaming and kept shouting: get out, get out, get out! He hit the wall and kicked the serving trolley so that it fell over and all the cutlery landed on the floor. He became more and more aggressive and louder in the presence of our children!!!! My little one started crying and was very scared. It really is unbelievable what happened there. I can only warn everyone about this man. The food is really great and I have never had such good food anywhere. But what happened there today was in the presence of children! It's simply unbelievable. I'm still exhausted and it's left its mark on my children too...

The food was good, but the service was subpar. Rude, annoyed and also a child hater... I felt so uncomfortable. As soon as we walked in it was clear that we had no desire to serve guests. Hello everyone. Today's experience report. Have eaten at Meteora several times. Food quality and value for money are unbeatable. Prices these days at €10 per dish are unbeatable. However, today we even got a 100% discount. So really great. The three of us were in the restaurant today around 5:30 p.m. We ordered and received our food and drinks immediately. So far everything is great. As it happens, after the meal we stay together in a cozy atmosphere and order a few more drinks. Now things get a little weird. After we had ordered and received three more beers and ouzo from the friendly waiter, the boss came straight away and put the bill on the table and we were told to pay AND leave immediately. I said that we would consume our drinks in peace and that he could then come back with the bill. This is exactly what we would have experienced here about six months ago. The boss reacted as follows. He took all the drinks from the table, tore up the bill and said we didn't have to pay anything and to leave immediately! All the guests at the other tables were shocked. So everyone, go eat there and then stay for a drink and you'll get a 100% discount. Where else can you find something like this today? We will be back.

Since we live 20 minutes away I really didn't feel like going there again. I wasn't treated very kindly there either. Probably won't come back. Parking spaces are a complete disaster.

We were there for the second time for lunch on Friday. The food is great in terms of taste and quality. Everything we ordered was very good and arrived quickly. The old gruff innkeeper got almost everything right. We didn't mess with him and everything was fine. We would come there again Price/performance is simply top.

Was in the restaurant today, had ordered a table and had to wait a few minutes. We had just finished eating when the boss came and said that we had to leave because the table had been reserved again. We had just been there for an hour. I found it impossible. We couldn't even Order a second drink. But the food is very good.

Been here for the first time today. Table was reserved and we were there on time; But we had to wait in the aisle for almost 15 minutes, without any comments from the waiter and without even looking at us. Well, so be it, since the place was full. The starter came quickly and the main course was also served quickly. We were completely satisfied with the taste and there is no reason to complain about the price either. What we again cannot understand is how to NOT accept card payment in 2024. We probably won't come back again because the service, the communication and the feeling the waiters gave us were not satisfactory.

Hello, I'm visiting Bremen. I've never experienced someone calling you by phone and asking if there was a table for two, then waiting an hour in the store for the table. Then you order your food and it comes to the table incorrectly. Then it is served and you get cold food And to top it all off, you get stomach cramps. Thank you for nothing

We thought about writing something for a long time because we were so embarrassed. The food was good, but you have to be warned about this host! We ordered eggplant with tomato sauce as an intermediate course. When the food was served we saw that the spoon was missing. So we asked the waiter to bring us another spoon. After a few minutes, when the innkeeper was near the table again, I asked again for a spoon. The innkeeper then replied that he would not bring us a spoon. When I asked how it would work without a spoon because we only had a knife and fork, he loudly asked us to leave his restaurant. We did this quite quickly. So this innkeeper must have forgotten what hospitality means a long, long time ago.

Das dritte mal trotz das wir einen Tisch vorgestellt hatte über ne halbe Stunde gewartet...andere kommen später und ehr ein Tisch...da muss mal was an der Planung was geändert werden..und das Personal war unfreundlich machte den Eindruck überfordert zu sein!!!

Meteora ist halt einfach Meteora. Das Essen ist, wie man es bei einem Griechen in Deutschland erwartet. Die Preise sind ausgesprochen günstig. Zu zweit mit Getränken, Vorspeisen und Wein sind wir immer unter 40€ geblieben. Dafür nimmt man in kauf, dass man trotz Reservierung wartet und auch, dass nicht alle 5 Minuten jemand am Platz ist. Ich komme immer gerne wieder und freue mich anständig essen gehen zu können, obwohl ich Studentin bin.

Also das Essen ist top. Keine Frage. Nur sind die beiden älteren Herren, sie den Service machen eher kundenunfteundlich. Hektisch und grenzüberschreitend

Ich hatte Essen bestellt und bei der Abholung kam es zu dieser Scene! Der Mitarbeiter aus dem Service kam mit meinem Essen und verlangte 25.-€ ich gab ihm 30.-€ er sagte er könne nicht wechseln und ging einfach weg. Nach einer gefühlten langen Zeit fragte ich noch einmal nach (Essen wird Kalt). Da kam der Servicemitarbeiter und gab mir die 30.-€ zurück und sagte wörtlich " Dann Kauf dein Essen woanders!

Sehrrrrr Unfreundlich, jeder Imbiss ist freundlicher. Über 1 Std. aufs Essen gewartet. Bei dem Hinweis das die Pommes zu meinem Essen gehören kam nur ein ( Sie sehen doch der Tisch ist voll und die Pommes wurden da hin gestellt wo ich nicht so einfach ran kam. ) Die Vorspeise kam zusammen mit dem Hauptgericht. Der Hinweis wurde mit ( ich soll mich nicht so anstellen ) beantwortet. Zum Schluss fragte ich dann ob man mir bitte den Rest einpacken könnte,da wurde mir ein Schale vor mein Teller eher geschmissen als gelegt :-( . Wow sowas ist mir im leben noch nicht passiert.

Nach vielen Jahren war ich vor Heiligabend mit einer Freundin bei Meteora wieder essen und ich verstehe viele Rezensionen hinsichtlich der Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht...zu uns waren die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hatten sogar Zeit für einen kleinen Schnack. Das essen war gut und die Portionen üppig. Im großen und ganzen ein solides Restaurant mit guten Preisen

Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder bei Meteora zum Essen und sind auch am letzten Sonntag nicht enttäuscht worden. Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Es war sehr voll, natürlich Sonntag, und wir waren froh einen Tisch reserviert zu haben. Wieder einmal danke an das Team für einen schönen Abend.

Das Essen ist immer noch sehr sehr lecker , aber das Personal , unfreundlich ziehen ein Gesicht wie 7 Tage Regenwetter. Wir haben bestellt , die sagen 35 min und wir haben noch 45 min dort gewartet . Sehr schlechter Service. Wie gesagt Wäre das Essen nicht so lecker würde ich da nicht mehr hin gehen. Schade

Vorweg: Das Essen war gut! Aber: Mein Lebensgefährte hat seinen Salat wg. Allergie ohne Tomate bestellt. Als trotzdem Tomaten auf dem Teller waren, hat er dies angemerkt. Der Wirt behauptete dann, dass habe er nicht gesagt und ist völlig ausgerastet, hat den Teller wutentbrannt auf den Boden gepfeffert und dabei fast noch ein Kleinkind getroffen. Danach hat er minutenlang in höchster Lautstärke herumgeschimpft, so dass alle Gäste im Restaurant peinlich berührt waren. Mir tat der arme Kellner leid, der versucht hat, seinen Kollegen zu beruhigen. Nach diesem aggressiven Auftritt werden wir dieses Lokal sicher nicht noch einmal besuchen!

Das Essen war ganz gut mein Gyros hatte Knorpel drin und mein Souvlaki schmeckte extrem rauchig (verbrannt) von meinen Freunden war die Ressonanz über das Essen 3-4 Sterne ich liege leider bei 3! Der Kellner b.z.w das Personal ist nicht der Hit sagen noch nicht mal Guten Tag wenn man reinkommt!

Service unfreundlich und Bestellung (zum Abholen) durcheinandergebracht. Obwohl ich die Bestellung vor Ort nochmal wiederholt habe. Nie wieder. Dann zahle ich woanders lieber ein paar Euro mehr.

Das Essen war super, günstig und genügend. Es kam sehr schnell nach der Bestellung. Was nicht so gut war ist, es war super voll und sehr laut. Als wir fertig waren mit Essen, wurde schon abkassiert und als wir 5 Minuten später noch immer am Platz saßen, wurden wir ganz böse raus geworfen, weil draußen 20 Oersonen warten würden. Meinen Wein durfte ich nicht austrinken. Das war nicht so fein. Auch der Ton von dem Inhaber war voll daneben.

Als Nicht Stammkunde wartet man schon mal eine halbe Stunde, um eine Bestellung aufgeben zu dürfen. Essen so lala, außer man mag das Allerlei von Knorr und Maggi.

Wer kein Fleisch essen möchte, bekommt hier nichts. Wir wurden deshalb wieder weggeschickt. Sowas hab ich noch nicht erlebt. Ein Stern für die guten Preise

Guten Abend, wir 4 Personen hatten für 20 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt, und uns darauf gefreut. Wir fingen an zu essen und hatten Spass. Dann wurde es laut, ziemlich laut: ein Servicemitarbeiter streitete sich mit dem anderen. Wir fragten uns: MUSS das sein? Vor den Kunden? Wenn etwas zu klären ist, dann kann man DAS auch in einem anderen Raum machen, oder nach Feierabend. Schöne Grüße!

Das Essen war eigentlich ganz gut für den Preis. Der Service war leider schlecht, in anderen lokalen gibt es sowas nicht.. Schade eigentlich. Der Laden ist immer voll, bei den Preisen kein Wunder aber etwas Service kann man trotzdem erwarten.

Ich habe einen neuen Lieblings-Griechen ❤️👌 Super leckeres Essen!!! Letztes Mal war es die Mittelmeerplatte, heute war es die Spezialplatte. Auch die Vorspeisen sind super lecker. So einen leckeren Saganaki haben meine Freundin und ich noch nie gegessen. Wirklich der Hammer! Hier kommen wir gerne wieder her! :) Mir wurde das Restaurant empfohlen, und jetzt empfehle ich es gerne weiter! Meinen Begleitern hat es genauso gut gefallen. Bis bald!

Äußerst unfreundlicher Service, falsche Aufnahme unserer Bestellung, unterdurchschnittliche Qualität der Speisen, unkorrekte Abrechnung ( zuviel berechnet )! Alles in allem : schlimmer geht nimmer! Wir waren das erste und ganz bestimmt das letzte mal da ! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert ! Dafür ist mir mein Geld zu schade, auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick recht preiswert erscheint. Und zum Schluss, wie in der Steinzeit : keine Kartenzahlung möglich !!!! Ja, sowas gibt's auch noch !

Essen gut und reichlich.Bedienung schnell aber meistens unfreundlich !! Wobei der grosse Keller noch geht aber der kurze ist oft unmöglich.Auch wenn die beiden auf zack sind finde ich es mehr als schade. Vielleicht sollten die mal etwas anderes ausprobieren wenn der Job keinen Spass mehr macht!!! So macht es den Kunden keinen Spaß und wir gehen jetzt deshalb nur noch sehr selten hin!

Eines der günstigen griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland. Sehr gutes Zarziki und Gemista, das Fleisch ist von mittlerer Qualität... Griechische Gastfreundschaft wird hier leider nicht vorgelebt, und das Ambiente ist daher mittelmässig. Trotzdem alle paar Monate mal ein Besuch wert.

Das Essen war soweit ganz okay, der Service grottenschlecht. Meine Freundin fragte mich lediglich, ob wir das Wasser mit oder ohne Kohlensäure bestellen wollten. Da flippte der Geschäftsinhaber aus, hier würde nicht diskutiert, sondern bestellt und ist einfach gegangen. Wir hätten da schon das Lokal verlassen sollen, unmöglich. Dann habe ich wie immer zur Flasche Wasser Eiswürfel mit Zitrone bestellt, was schon öfters stumpf ignoriert wurde. Es wurde einfach nicht gebracht, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Wir hatten mit 4 Personen um 18 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Alle hatten noch Wein, Bier oder Wasser voll im Glas, als der Hauptkellner uns aufforderte zu zahlen, da der Tisch schon wieder gleich vergeben sei. Unmöglich, ohne vorher ein Wort zu sagen, wurden wir rausgeschmissen. Der Service von dem anderen Kellner war etwas besser, allerdings wurden die Ouzogläser und anderen Gläser auf dem Tisch geknallt, das einem schon der Appetit vergangen ist. Zudem war es brechend voll und sehr laut. Alles andere als gemütlich und entspannt. Man wurde böse und in einem sehr schlechten Umgangston behandelt. So nach dem Motte "Fress und bezahle". Unglaublich. Wir werden nun nie wieder dort essen gehen. Weit gefehlt von Gastfreundlichkeit der Griechen und Service. Unter aller Kanone!
