We didn't like it, the meat was tough and didn't taste good.

A nice snack bar with restaurant quality. Large portions, very tasty. The service was very nice and friendly. We'd love to come back.

I ate there for the first and last time today. The fries were soggy and saltless. The gyro meat was cold and tasteless and the yoghurt dip with cucumbers had no taste. The drinks were well chilled and were the highlight of this meal. Since it was very crowded, I spoke to the gentleman quietly. But he didn't comment on it. Therefore, a negative entry from my side. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!! The prices are also WAY too high for a snack bar. NEVER AGAIN

We took the opportunity to treat ourselves to something to eat there! We were very positively impressed. The food was delicious, the meat was juicy, not dry and the fries were just right! Great and thank you very much!! 😊

We have been regular customers for years and have been stopping by every now and then since we no longer live in Wetter. But today was really underground. ordered food, My husband's grill plate was super tasty, my skewers were tough and my mother complained about the same thing, so we decided to bring them something new. Suddenly the boss came and said same spit and left. The waitress came and told us we wouldn't get any more food. I'm still in shock, my husband and my dad ate everything and we weren't even allowed to look and we didn't even get our fries back. Never again !!! I have always found the boss and his wife to be very likeable since I was a child. VERY SAD HOW PEOPLE CHANGE!

Considering that the Metaxa Grill is supposed to be a Greek snack bar, the food is quite close to the quality of a restaurant. The service is friendly and the dishes are freshly prepared, and the price/performance ratio is great. We were absolutely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Best gyros in a long time. Meat nice and tender and well cooked without any lumps like you often get I ate an open Gyros Pita on site and the bread was unbeatable too There was also a small fries just on the fries there could have been a little more mayo

Friendly atmosphere with good food. The meat is top, gyros crispy and well seasoned. We will 100% go there again. After the sumptuous meal, I recommend a walk along Harkortsee.

Price ok. Unfortunately, the taste of the gyro has also become increasingly greasy over the years. I don't know if it's the manufacturer's fault or something else. The ambience is a bit older, a bit run down but clean.

The snack bar is great, the service is good. The food tastes good, we get something to eat here regularly and the prices are generally in line. You can also eat on site. During some recessions you get the feeling that people expect 5-star food and at no cost at all. It's a snack bar with a very good Greek-oriented selection.

After the renewed price increase at the beginning of 2024, you can actually go to restaurants for pork dishes at similar prices. Unfortunately, the quality of various dishes has also decreased. So I paid almost €75 for 2 plate meals, 1 portion of gyros, 1 starter plate, 1 hot dog, 1 hamburger and a few small things. Prices on the Internet are 35% cheaper than reality! I rounded up to €75 and had to pay almost €4 for a 2cl ouzo to take away...cheer. Went there the next day to clarify and there was a €10 difference in the counter bill. If gyros pita costs 7 € euros with tzaziki coleslaw and a pita bread, I ask myself why I pay 8 € for a portion of gyros???? For €75 I go out with my wife for a high-quality meal including drinks. They lost us as customers because there was no insight at all. OHSOOO the gyros tastes bland

Super leckeres und saftiges Gyros. Nicht überwürzt, wie man es leider pft serviert bekommt. Wirklich sehr lecker und unheimlich freundliche Inhaber. Mega.👍

Der Gyrosteller ist sehr gut. Currywurst Pommes sicher nicht die Stärke dieses Grills. Pommes waren trotz sehr langem Fritiervorgang weich. Allein allem aber empfehlenswert. Die Pommes hoffentlich ein Ausrutscher.

Der Gyros ist super Essen allgemein gut könnte etwas günstiger sein Bedienung ist Nett und freundlich

Sehr lange Wartezeit. Gyros sehr trocken. Portion für den Preis sehr klein. Qualität eher bescheiden.

Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Ich würde sagen mindestens 50 Jahre alt. Die sanitäre Einrichtung auch nicht sehr appetitlich anzusehen. Personal freundlich und Pommes Currywurst nix Besonderes. Soße ist Standard aus dem Großhändlereimer

Immer super frisches und sehr leckeres Essen! Die Betreiber sind super freundlich und auch im größten Stress immer sehr zuvorkommend! Seit Jahren gleichbleibende Qualität! Wenn griechisches Essen zum Mitnehmen, dann dort!

Irgendwie hat der Laden gefühlt stark nachgelassen. Gyros mit Metaxxasoße war immer großartig hier. Heute Gyros 2 bestellt. Gyros mit Metaxxa und Pommes und Salat. Die Pommes waren super. Das Gyros aber sehr fettig und die Soße sauer. Der Salat wurde mit Essig übergossen und war im unteren Drittel der Packung nicht mehr essbar. Schade - ich war immer gerne hier. In die Schlaglöchern des Parkplatzes gehen mittlerweile ganze Smarts rein.

Ich habe da immer gern die Jägersoße gegessen .jetzt habe sie nur noch so ein fertig Produkt und die Portionen sind kleiner geworden 🙈echt schade

Haben sehr nachgelassen. Nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Kleines Gyros 9,20€ es ist Krümmelig, Pommes zu klein . Preise stark erhöht , zu teuer. Beim Griechen in Witten Bommern bekomme ich viel bessere Qualität . Die Preise sind normal geblieben obwohl sie auch erhöht haben. Bleiben aber auf dem Teppich. Fahre gerne 1 km weiter.

Gyros ist in Ordnung für den schnellen Hunger, zwar sehr fettig aber geschmacklich Okay. Die Pommes sind immer gut. Currywurst ist auch okay, die Currysoße ist ein bisschen sehr lasch und zu mild. Fertigfleisch Burger und fritiertes Tiefkühllschnitzel Schnitzel kann ich nicht empfehlen. Ansonten wirkt der Laden sauber.

Alles soweit ok. Habe den Grill immer gern besucht. Aber € 6 für ein Gyros Pita oder €9 für einen Taxi Teller sind schon heftig. Preise sind insgesamt eindeutig überzogen erhöht worden

Echt lecker, wir sind regelmäßig hier und holen uns das Essen nach Hause.

Nicht mehr zum weiterempfehlen. Tochter kaufte sich Currywurst mit Pommes 9.00 Euro ,das ist der absolute Wucher 10 Pommes und eine Currywurst . Selbst auf ein Kinderteller ist mehr. Selbst an einem Ausflugslokal in dieser Zeit kostet eine Currywurst mit Pommes mit viel Pommes 7.50 Euro. Oder sind im Metaxa Grill die Pommes um 300 Prozent die Kosten gestiegen.!?

Na ja war Gyros ist schon ok...andere Sachen würde ich nicht dringend empfehlen...Hackfleisch schmeckt.nacht nichts ausser Oregano...Vor Ort nur Bier aus der Flasche

Essen teuer aber lecker. Portionen zu klein für den Preis. Service sehr gut. Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Restaurant liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Im Restaurant ist es daher meist sehr laut und unruhig.

Sehr lecker im allgemeinen und Bedienung ist auch super nett! Kann man gut was essen oder abholen!

Hallo! Heute mal nach langer Zeit wieder im Metaxa Grill gewesen, es war wie immer super lecker und die Bedienung war super freundlich auch wie immer,wenn man da ist.Weiter so😊
