Very good food. Kale is full and also the duck is recommended.

The selection of food (meat dishes) is very limited and the prices are generally very high.

We celebrated our wedding at the Kupferschmiede in August. The service was great! We have only heard positive things from our guests: polite, quick and courteous. Our requests were also responded to quickly. The food was also very tasty! The tables were decorated exactly to our taste. We are very satisfied and would celebrate/eat here again and again.

We celebrated our daughter's confirmation... Everything was great, from the planning to the celebration! The team put in a lot of effort! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We went to the Kupferschmiede for the Advent buffet for the first time. I have to say that we felt comfortable and valued from the first minute. From the welcome, the table assignment, the accompaniment and introduction of the buffet to the enjoyment of the wonderfully prepared dishes, the Kupferschmiede stands out from other locations. The staff is super friendly and you never get the impression that you are one of many guests. We'll definitely come back.

Went to eat there on the recommendation of a good friend who also works there named Leo. The food was great and the service was also very nice and accommodating. I can only recommend it. If you haven't been there yet, highly recommended!

The coppersmith's shop is always worth a visit. The food is very tasty and there is always seasonal food on the menu. The service is amazing! You will be welcomed quickly, but above all warmly, at the door and taken to your table. You are always served with a genuine smile. It's also great that the employees in this restaurant are permanent. You basically already know the staff after the second visit - and the staff also remembers the guest (a rarity!). About the ambience: In the middle of the forest, with the game gate in front of the door, it is of course in a fantastic location. Now in the winter months you can also see that Hildesheim is at the feet of the coppersmiths 😉 really great. But everything inside is also very comfortable and nicely furnished. Conclusion: Simply great!

It's always nice to be treated to great food there

I had the restaurant in mind before the big renovation... It used to be a flop, now it's great. Nice and very courteous service, super delicious food. Had no reason to complain. In the evenings, fire baskets were even lit, which gave the whole thing even more charm, especially at this dark time of year. Well, bravo, I say. 👍🏿👏🏽Keep it up.

Family lunch and coffee in cake. Very nice and attentive service. Rich portions that are elaborately prepared. Good ambience in an open but separate space. The restaurant is interesting because there is a large children's playground right next to it. There is also a game gate where you can stay for about 1-2 hours, e.g. B. as a digestive walk after eating. Naturally, there is a lot of activity in the game gate, especially on the weekends. For visitors to the Wildgatter there is a kiosk with a limited menu.

We were there today for the love wedding fair. We were immediately greeted with a delicious aperitif. There were also lots of little delicacies to try! The staff was very attentive and super friendly. The Kuoferschmiede is beautifully located right next to a game gate and a forest. We enjoyed a little walk after the fair! We had a consistently positive impression.

Friendly, very attentive and competent staff. The food is always very tasty and inexpensive. You will be warmly welcomed in the entrance area and shown to your seat. In the cold season, double doors protect against drafts in the entrance area. Currently (October 2024) there is again the highly recommended kale with Bregenwurst.

Today we had dinner at the Kupferschmiede with 60 people and we were absolutely thrilled. The buffet offered a wide selection and the food was consistently delicious. We were particularly impressed by the service – extremely attentive, friendly and always on hand. Even special requests were fulfilled quickly and easily. The location itself was excellent. We had a separate room, which was not only very nice and quiet, but also perfectly tailored to our needs. Overall, we can only warmly recommend Kupferschmiede – everything is just right here!

It was my father's birthday party (95). There was game and zander with appropriate side dishes and then a cake buffet. Everything tasted and looked perfect. Service is excellent and the ambience is just as great. We'd love to come back.

We chose the coppersmiths in Hildesheim as the location for our family wedding dinner because of its idyllic location on the edge of the Hildesheim Forest with a beautiful view and accompanying game reserve. The quality of the food at the rehearsal dinner impressed us. We were completely flexible when choosing the menu for the celebration and opted for uniform starters and desserts as well as a main course à la carte. There was something for each of our guests and the food was great. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and quick service at all times. We received competent advice during the meetings in advance and a "personal" service person was provided to assist us on the day of the wedding. We and our guests would love to come back.

As part of a graduation ball - the coppersmith was booked exclusively for our company. It was really worth celebrating there! The building itself is cozy - with the decoration and the many candles there was a very pleasant atmosphere everywhere. Food was served buffet-style and there was always enough refills. I found the staff particularly pleasant, as they were always attentive and very friendly throughout the entire evening. Drinks service at the table was great and empty glasses and used plates were always cleared away straight away. Friendly & accommodating throughout the entire evening. We were here with a group of 6 people. We were impressed by the good organization and service. We were served quickly and courteously and the staff was very, very friendly. This surprised us because there was a fairly large wedding taking place at the same time and we initially thought that this could have a negative impact on the service and food. But the absolute opposite was the case. Really great! The food was really excellent! The schnitzels were on point and very juicy, the fries, fried potatoes and croquettes were really very good. The portions are so big, the value for money is finally absolutely right and it's fun to eat here. You can also treat yourself to one or two aperitifs and desserts. All in all, we would love to come back! Thanks!

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of the forest. With a large terrace that offers plenty of comfortable seating. Even in bad weather you could sit outside as there were awnings stretched over almost the entire area. Of course, it's just comfortable inside the guest room. The entire facility welcomes you at the entrance with its pleasant ambience. A quick look at the outside area. There is a wildlife enclosure next door where you can watch deer, wild boars and other animals. If you have children with power batteries, just go to the huge playground. No matter whether you're just after a walk for coffee and cake or you're really hungry... You will be greeted warmly at the entrance and shown to your place. At coffee time you have a large selection of cakes, but also ice cream cups/balls. The prices there are absolutely affordable! Eg 1 large scoop of ice cream 1.20 euros! But you can also choose from a wide variety of hot meals. Be it the 6 different schnitzel variants (tip ks schnitzel supreme is awesome) Or the changing daily menu. Here too, the prices are really humane. A huge schnitzel for 18 euros depending on your choice of side dish, fries, croquettes, fried potatoes or grilled vegetables for 3.50 euros. All in all, you will be 110 percent full. The service is super friendly and attentive. The people who work there are always attentive and courteous to the guests. I can really only recommend a visit. Small tip for the weekend, it's better to make a reservation as there are also many weddings celebrated there.

Located at Wildgatter in Hildesheim, in my opinion, it is the top address for absolutely delicious food and perfect service. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance as demand is very high. There were five of us on site and despite two major events (birthday and wedding) we were served quickly and in a highly professional manner. The food came after a short wait and what can I say, it tasted excellent. The portions are really big and taste really delicious. The staff is very friendly, courteous and extremely professional. You feel very welcome and enjoy being a guest! Always an experience!

The reservation via the website was uncomplicated. Confirmation was received promptly. We didn't have to wait on site and were shown straight to our seat. The service was very polite and accommodating. We only waited 20 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, the spaetzle for my meal was cold, but after a quick complaint I received my selection completely new and in a very short time, so that I could eat with my relatives at the same time. Of course the food was perfectly warm. They apologized and said that things like this don't normally happen. After the meal I received a coffee specialty at the house's expense. In our party, each person ordered something different to eat. Everyone really enjoyed every choice of food. Visually it also looked appealing on the plates. We liked everything very much, I booked a time slot of 2 hours. But we were there much longer. But that wasn't a problem, even though the restaurant was busy. Thanks to the team for this lovely afternoon.

We celebrated my parents' silver wedding anniversary with you and felt completely at home. The service started with the search for a parking space, as the traffic was well regulated by guides. The choice of food was very diverse, as there was also a good selection of vegetarian dishes. We were also offered special requests and gluten-free options. The portions were very reasonable and the leftovers were packed up without any problems. We would love to come back!

I find reserving seats online very convenient. The ambience makes you feel good. The wasp protection via an incense worked great and we remained unmolested by the animals. The food tasted good, the service was courteous... an all-round nice stay.

The Kupferschmiede, on the outskirts of Hildesheim and beautifully located in the forest, was beautifully renovated some time ago. It offers very tasty food, served professionally and in a friendly manner, and invites you to burn off your calories with a short walk after your meal.

We had already looked at other restaurants and then had “the Kupferschmiede” recommended by a work colleague. When we were here, we decided to celebrate our wedding here despite the longer journey. The date was confirmed to us immediately. All agreements were adhered to, spontaneous changes and special requests were absolutely no problem. For the celebration: there was nothing missing, a beautifully laid table, very(!) delicious food, everything cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, professional staff who took great care of our needs without seeming intrusive. It was really worth it!

Very good service, delicious schnitzels and a nice ambience make a stay a wonderful experience. Deductions in the b-grade for the food, my vegan dish had falafel balls that were a bit lukewarm, but the taste was still great. Unfortunately only pictures of the dessert 😎

The location of the coppersmiths by the forest and wild gate is beautiful. Perfect for combining, especially for a nice walk. The food and service have always been top. We also held a big celebration and the food and service were great there too. Parking can be problematic on weekends. It's better to park at the lower parking lot and walk up through the game gate. There is still some room for improvement when it comes to vegan dishes. There is a vegan dish available this year, namely the schnitzel for just under €25. A simple, inexpensive pasta alternative or something similar would be nice here, so that you can eat together with the family even on a smaller budget. PS: To answer -> Unfortunately, the eggplant rolls are not marked as vegan in the menu. And the feta and the spaetzle (classic recipe with egg) don't give any indication that this dish is suitable for vegans.

We can recommend the Kupferschmiede without reservation. The service is top, the staff is super attentive and nice at all levels. The food is also absolutely delicious, the soup and salad as a starter as well as the schnitzel and the rump steak were all top notch. Then enjoy the Einbecker Pils in the sun with a view of the Wildgatter, what more could you want :)

Brunch with colleagues, the brunch buffet was planned for three hours. It was almost empty after an hour, was not refilled and the leftovers were not covered. The leftovers could only be eaten at first because we were sitting outside in the tent and flies and wasps quickly appeared. Many were disappointed, drinks were included. Unfortunately disappointed for 28 euros.

Unfortunately ONLY 5 stars possible... It was my first time in the coppersmith's shop, and certainly not the last time. I hardly thought something like this still existed: 1. I can make a reservation on the terrace online and receive an immediate confirmation and not just a confirmation of receipt along the lines of “we’ll get back to you...”. 2. The house was full of guests for a big event, which didn't affect the daily business. 3.We were greeted warmly and taken to the seat, the service came quickly and was very friendly. The best thing: She enjoyed her job and served the guests. She kindly and kindly offered us the side salad, which we happily ordered. 4. A very good selection of dishes on the menu, we ordered the schnitzel with chanterelles. The sauce came extra and didn't drown the golden brown fried schnitzel in advance. The meat was A1, not a single strange piece to cut off, perfectly cooked. The fried potatoes (I reordered them, no charge!!!) were very tasty, cross-fried without swimming in fat. 5. The salad actually has content, not just lettuce leaves packed in a bowl. Tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, arugula and iceberg with a really great dressing. 5. Everything was very quick, friendly, and the quality was great. Nothing out of the bag, everything prepared with heart. The terrace was full, as was the house, no trace of stress or overwhelm. 6. Everything was very clean and well maintained, no residue on the floor, clean tables, nice decorations on the terrace with plants and umbrellas. Dear Kupferschmiede team, please keep it up, it's nice that someone like you still exists. There is a team here with desire and passion, which you convey to the guests. I would have liked to give it more than 5 stars! I'm already looking forward to the next time :-)

Yesterday I was there for my 60th birthday with my family and close friends. I am extremely satisfied from the planning to the execution. The ambience and location is probably the best I could have imagined. The food was delicious and the service was open to all questions and super attentive. Even the welcome sign was an eye-catcher in itself. All I can say is that anyone planning such an event should always consider the coppersmiths. Many thanks to the entire team. The feedback from my guests was also consistently positive. We'll be back :-) Grade 1++++++

Coppersmith, what happened to you? If you do good business with wedding celebrations here, that's good and right. But what cannot be excused at all (save yourself the need to apologize) is allowing the terrace to be filled with such noise that the croquettes want to hide behind the schnitzel. In my opinion, a fair and a relaxed family restaurant are incompatible.

The food and service is good, but having to shout at each other outside because there's a wedding next door with loud music is absolutely unbearable. You can hardly understand your own words and a lady at the wedding is constantly speaking very loudly into your microphone, making the noise level even worse. Extremely poor planning.

Everything worked perfectly. There were four of us on a Sunday Lunch in the coppersmith's shop. On Saturday we were able to reserve a table relatively spontaneously. The parking situation is difficult on a Sunday when the weather is good with the game gate, but the stewards solved everything very well. After a short wait at the door we were shown to a great table. The food we had various schnitzels, including the KS Prime (pictured), tasted excellent. Even though it was very busy we didn't have to wait long for our food and the service was great. We would love to come back and eat at Kupferschmiede.

I was invited there as part of a birthday party. It is an older inn in the forest. Despite the large crowds (school ceremonies, wedding parties and "normal" guests), the conditions were very attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty. All the guests in the group ate up 😋. Highly recommended. There is also a wildlife gate on site where you can observe animals.

Visit on the occasion of my mother's 89th birthday. We had ordered a nice table in the restaurant online and a quiet niche was waiting for us. Very attentive service despite the very large operation. The food was very tasty and filling. The parking situation is a bit problematic, but thanks to the parking service it is much more relaxed than before. We'd love to come back!

We celebrated our wedding here. We were very satisfied, everything went well and you can tell that everything was routine and safe. Great food and terrific service. All employees were without exception friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The table was beautifully set and the ambience is beautiful anyway. The Kupferschmiede also offers a variety of food for vegetarians and vegans and has easily accommodated our requests. A parking space for the wedding car was kept free right at the entrance. Park attendants instruct each guest properly and quickly. The coppersmith is highly recommended.
