Quaint restaurant with beer brewing kettles in the room. Ingredients are sourced from local suppliers. Food comes quite quickly after ordering. We ate very tasty currywurst with fries and were served in a very friendly and attentive manner. Always my pleasure !

The site is good. German Food. The range of options is not very wide. They have many beers. The place is good, but in my opinion it is a common place that has nothing different.

Today we had lunch at the restaurant with 10 people. It was really great. The service was attentive, unobtrusive and in a really good mood. Starters and main courses came to the table almost simultaneously for all guests and the quality of the respective dishes was also impeccable. Not our first and certainly not our last stop. Compliments to the team!

Nice restaurant in Hanover's city center. Pretty full because of the Germany game and the Bruce Springsteen concert taking place at the same time. That's why it was on the 1st floor because everything downstairs was full. Not quite as comfortable as on the ground floor. The dark beer was very tasty. From the menu I had the Wiener-style schnitzel with fries and a small salad. It tasted very good. You can actually save yourself the additional sauce (surcharge of two euros). Service very on point. Overall, completely okay for the price, but not a culinary highlight.

We'd love to come back. It's a brewery, relatively large, and therefore not exactly quiet. It is very centrally located, a plus point for the restaurant. The menu is not large, but it is exquisite and what we tried was delicious. As you would expect from a brewery, there is of course home-brewed beer here. You have to like the dark one, we found the light one very tasty. I have the impression that there are a lot of young staff here, which in my opinion doesn't affect the service. We received a very hospitable welcome and our visual impairment was never a problem.

Not as nice as before: many dishes from the standard menu were not available. The condition was communicated quite unkindly. The food was okay, but nothing special. Loveless, unkempt outdoor terrace (no cushions on the chairs, no tablecloths/sets, lots of dirt and dust) and inside it's more like the splendor of bygone times. Not again so soon.

A special day. The restaurant was very busy for an afternoon. Reason Peter Maffay is Hanover. We know the service team, which is always friendly and competent. Today we had the pleasure of meeting a new employee. Klara served us for hours a constant attention. We got the impression that you enjoy your job and every employer can consider themselves lucky.

Essen war leider nur Mittelmaß. Schnitzel schmeckten fade, waren jedoch sehr knusprig. Kinderportion hatte einen hintergrundgeschmack der an Stall erinnerte. Dazu leider wie so oft, Pommes Frittes aus dem Tiefkühler. Diese waren allerdings dafür gut zubereitet und heiß als sie serviert wurden. Hätte mir dennoch eine andere Auswahl an beilagen gewünscht. Allerdings habe ich auch nicht explizit nachgefragt. Der Salat (der überraschenderweise auch beim Kindermenü angeboten wird) war dafür sehr gut, mit frischem gemüse und einem interessanten fruchtigen Dressing. Auch die Cremesuppe war gut und schien frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Sanitären Anlagen waren alle sauber und scheinen regelmäßig gereinigt zu werden. Sogar seife war vorhanden.

I stopped there by pure luck, alone for dinner that night I was welcomed by a smiling waitress, full of joke and good beers to offer! I had the schnitzel with Sambal, really good! Their home brewed beers are also delicious! I recommend if you are in the area, it’s a place to stop by, at least for a beer or five, and for food if you’re hungry of course!

Essen ok. Service weit überwiegend sehr freundlich. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen! Grund sind die sanitären Anlagen für Männer. Abgesehen davon, dass die Böden klebrig schmutzig waren, ist die Bebilderung so unfassbar misogyn und aus der Zeit gefallen, dass ich mich schäme in weiblicher Begleitung diesen Restaurationsbetrieb aufgesucht zu haben. PS. Google hat die Veröffentlichung der zugehörigen Bilder zunächst wegen Sexismus abgelehnt. Auch Tripadvisor hat die Veröffentlichung aus dem gleichen Grund abgelehnt.

We were there today in a large group. The beer was very tasty and the cooking point of the rump steak was atypical for a brewery :-) was well done. And our waiter never lost track and was extremely attentive! Keep it up 👍🏻

The food was ok. The people in service are mostly very friendly. The ambience in the dining room was appealing. The toilets were unreasonably dirty for people who read as men (the floor was sticky) and incredibly misogynistic - completely out of date.

Great restaurant with nice furnishings, enough space between the tables and here and there a view of the New Town Hall. The menu mainly offers solid German home cooking with some specials, reasonably priced and only in individual cases slightly above average. The tiramisu is also delicious. The beer is definitely recommended and its taste stands out from the ordinary varieties. Definitely try it! The service was top, even when we stopped in here late at night to end the day.

It's always good there. Friendly staff, good food and delicious beer. Joy of life can also be a Christmas party. Oh and I was bold (in the sense of "even if I like it there, my colleagues don't necessarily have to like it"). There's always something. At work I suggested having the Christmas party here with the department (40 people). make. Contrary to expectations, the Christmas party here was perceived as good by everyone who attended in terms of the ambience, the service, the food and the beer. And the next Christmas party was already booked because everyone was very happy and it was easy to get there then Corona came. Always happy to go there. ...Auuuuuand the group from my educational leave also really enjoyed and enjoyed it there. When we met there, there was an international match in the evening. We were sitting at the screen and at the speakers. After the one-time request to turn it down a little, they did so immediately and we were able to continue having a nice chat. We went there in the afternoon without any reservation and it worked perfectly. Big restaurant with many tables available. I tried the recommended menu and I got Currywurst, spare ribs and schnitzel. All was delicious but the ribs are the best. The beer was nice too. The service is very friendly :)

Table reservations are always good and uncomplicated. Friendly staff, fast delivery of food and drinks, food was never bad or mediocre but always good. I found the prices sometimes not so justified in comparison, but the use of many regional products makes it totally ok!

We were there with a small group for a quick snack. We showed our order to the service staff with our finger in the menu. A small portion of sweet potato fries for 4.70 per person. So unmistakable and clear. A hefty price for a fried finished product when there isn't even free ketchup/mayo. Also charged at 1 euro. Unfortunately, the service staff not only served large portions of drinks without asking, but also simply served everyone a large portion of fries for 7.50!!!! served. Attention: It's at the bottom of the map. We already know this with drinks...unfortunately many restaurants also do that. But that hasn't happened to me while eating. I was really very annoyed about it. The service was friendly. Ambience is getting a bit old. We won't be coming back for a while.

Very nice restaurant with lots of seats on 2 floors; However, it is quite loud on the ground floor. The food was very good; Price-performance ratio is excessive: €7.50 for 0.7 liters of water is quite steep. The portion of kale with fried potatoes for €10.20 was manageable (it might be enough for a small hunger, but it is quite expensive). The employees were all very friendly and accommodating.

I was in the restaurant with my wife twice and can report mixed things. Unfortunately, the last visit was a disaster. The first time we were able to test the menu well by offering the “threesome” - schnitzel, currywurst and roulade in the menu. The roulades were a bit over-dry, i.e. too dry (despite the sauce), but overall it was tasty. The second time I had the “chicken skewer souflaki style”, with tzatziki and potato wedges. Unfortunately, the court was a disaster. I didn't like the tzatziki at all, although that's certainly a matter of taste and should be evaluated individually. The potato wedges were clearly over-salted, but what was particularly bad was that the chicken wasn't cooked through and had an immediately noticeable "slippery" bite. As soon as a waitress came by and inquired about the food, I announced the fact and clearly pointed to the pieces that had already been sorted out. The waiter's response was "that's a shame". Not a word more or less. And so he went away and didn't come back. I thought I was at the hidden camera and looked for one in disbelief... But couldn't find it... Disappointed and speechless, I continued eating the dish as much as possible... However, I could have saved myself that because it didn't get any better. When I was paying the bill, another waiter asked me again and I explained the problem again. I couldn't eat more than half of it. A Coke was waived off the bill. Put, six. I don't expect that at today's prices. Very unfortunate. Our last visit.

Moin, wir sind eine kleine Familie aus Rostock mit zwei Kindern, und waren in der City von Hannover shoppen. Danach sind wir zum Abendessen ins Meiers gegangen. Ich möchte in erster Linie des Service hervorheben von Herrn Gökhan. So stelle ich mir das vor, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und geht auch mal auf die Kinder ein. Aber natürlich möchte ich auch die Küche nicht vergessen, es war sehr lecker. Vielen dank, macht weiter so!! LG

Very solid home brewery. I tried 3 of 4 beers, all of which were good. The kale was also very nice, but the fried potatoes didn't convince me. Would definitely come back :)

The food was very tasty and the staff were very attentive. All I can say is we'll be back. The small selection of different types of beer was very good.

Large restaurant with a focus on German cuisine and beer. Relatively expensive and the dishes are not convincing. We had burgers and the grilled vegetables, the portion of grilled vegetables with rosemary potatoes was very small. Dishes taste okay. The selection of vegetarian dishes is very limited!

Wir haben vorab Reserviert, haben einen tollen Tisch in einer gemütlichen Ecke bekommen. Anfangs war der Kellner noch sehr nett und aufmerksam, jedoch als eine große Gruppe sich eine Reihe vor uns setzte war es vorbei mit der Aufmerksamkeit. Kein winken hat er wahr genommen. Schade, bei dem letzten Besuch haben wir uns so gut bedient gefühlt. Meine Freundinnen hat das dieses mal nicht gefallen.

Wir sind so enttäuscht. Wir waren die letzten Jahre immer so gerne hier - vor allem wegen der Bernaise-Soße, die es zum Schnitzel gibt. Die hat nämlich sonst auch kein mir bekanntes Restaurant. Jetzt waren wir hier vor 2 Wochen. Meine Freundin ist nicht so gerne Fleisch, hat bislang aber auch immer was gefunden - wie den Matjes oder gerne mal den Cesar-Salat. Und auf der Karte im Netz stand auch ein sehr lecker klingender Rote-Beete-Burger. Den gab es aber tatsächlich nicht - die ganze Karte gab es nicht mehr. Die Bernaise-Soße ist ganz gestrichen. Matjes und Salat findet man auch nicht mehr auf der Karte. Es gab gegrilltes Gemüse, aber das können wir uns für 14 Euro auch selbst zu Hause zubereiten. Der kleine Beilagen-Salat ist halt nur ein Beilagen-Salat, da müsste man schon drei von bestellen, dass es für eine normale Mahlzeit reicht. Die beiden anderen Veggie-Sachen bestanden nur aus Kürbis. Wir sind dann wieder ohne Essen gegangen. Vielleicht schauen wir im Sommer nochmal rein - wenn sich dann nichts an der Karte geändert hat, hat das Restaurant zwei Gäste verloren, die bis dahin immer sehr gern gekommen sind. Man sitzt hier toll und die Bedienung ist auch immer super nett.

Keller hat beim bezahlen mehrfach gefragt ob ich trinkgeld geben will und als dies verneint habe hat er gemeint ob das bei mir normal ist das ich kein Trinkgeld gebe. Der Kellner der mich bedient hat heißt Gökhan

Visited this restaurant two consecutive nights for takeout dinners during my stay at a nearby hotel. Both the wienerschnitzel and currywurst were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly.

Am samstag waren wir im Meiers zu einer kleinen Weihnachtsfeier. Wir waren mit allen rundum zufrieden. Leckeres essen (ganz hervorragende Rouladen), das Bier schmeckte gut und der Service war wie immer top. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne wieder....

Durchschnittliches Essen mit viel Luft nach oben. z.B. Salatbeilage spärlich und optisch nicht ansprechend. Fisch mit Spinat und Gnocci: die Gnocci trocken, noch nicht mal Butter darüber und lieblos angerichtet.

Alles perfekt, gar nix zu meckern. Tischreservierung ist auch an Wochentagen sehr zu empfehlen!

Gutes Ambiente, sowohl für ein gepflegtes Bier beim Fußball gucken als auch zum Essen. Das Speisenangebot und die Qualität sind auf einem gute Niveau. Die Auswahl an eigenen Biersorten gefällt mir sehr gut. Nicht jede Sorte hat meinen Geschmack getroffen, ist aber eine willkommene Alternative zum normalen „Einheitsbrei“. Klare Empfehlung für einen Besuch. 👍🏻
