We spontaneously decided to come here for the first time yesterday (Sunday evening). The food was incredibly delicious, and even though it was very busy and there were sometimes seven people in line for takeout, the service was quick and friendly. The prices were also perfectly reasonable; we paid less than €65 for three main courses, summer rolls, sushi, and drinks. The staff were super friendly, but the very best thing was definitely the food. Absolutely delicious, fresh, high-quality vegetables... no complaints whatsoever!

As a Düsseldorf native, I've been to many Asian restaurants in the Japanese Quarter, etc., and I can only say that this restaurant is truly top-notch in terms of taste and quality. Last Sunday, I ordered food from Meely Quan again by phone from home. When I arrived a short time later to pick up the food, the place was packed. The manager and an assistant were diligently trying to manage the tasks at hand, but seemed completely overwhelmed by the crowd. My ordered food appeared to be already on the counter, ready for pickup. I pointed out my order number to the manager twice, but she didn't respond. As I said: Completely overwhelmed. Only after a 15-minute wait did the manager respond, looked in the bag with the order number written on it, and then sold me the food. My slight grumbling that I'd already had this food two meters away from me for 15 minutes and it couldn't be hot anymore was assuaged by the woman's succinct reply that it was still hot enough. There was no apology from her. Meely Quann is undeniably popular. The food on offer is very good. But the boss should be careful that this doesn't happen again, otherwise customers will quickly be alienated and leave. I recommend hiring enough hourly assistants during peak times to cope with the surge in customers.

We've been here many times and are always impressed! For us, it's the best sushi and Vietnamese restaurant in the area. I've been eating there regularly for three years. The food has always been delicious, and the service is excellent.

Unfortunately, the food was only average. Portions were too small for the price. Unfortunately, the chop suey and fried noodles with chicken were relatively tasteless.

When ordering takeout, I asked for a dish with extra vegetables and chicken. They told me that all dishes were rich in vegetables and asked me which sauce I wanted. I chose chop suey (brown sauce). When I unpacked it at home, there was a ton of sauce sloshing around, with the vegetables and meat swimming in it. Even the rice couldn't absorb all that sauce. If I order a dish with lots of vegetables and chicken, I don't want soup. Unfortunately, my direct call resulted in the message: yes, takeout always comes with a lot of sauce, they have to let you know next time, then you can tell the chef... I fished out the few vegetables and meat and ate half the rice with the sauce. The picture shows how incredibly much liquid is left in the bowl. Disgraceful, I advise against it.

The food is very greasy. The fried chicken tastes like charcoal. It seems as if something is burnt in the deep fryer because they've put it in the pan and the oil hasn't been changed. The bamboo shoots are already sprouting and are inedible overall. I tried to eat them until I got a bit of an upset stomach. This snack has declined in quality and is therefore no longer recommended. I've attached a picture to the page. Just look at how greasy it is. People should do something else, but not cook more. I'd be happy to get back to you. Unfortunately, I have to write it here because there's no way to answer it on Google. 1) I took the meat out of the bowl. Not all of it to actually take a photo, because I wanted to tilt the bowl so you could see exactly how much oil was in it. However, this wasn't necessary when I removed it because, as you can see in the picture, the whole thing is already full of oil. 2) On the subject of insults, that's still harmless. You're so glad I didn't come by!!! Because when they produce food and serve it to customers, which is almost life-threatening, then an insult is still harmless!!! I don't find that funny, and it really annoys me that they want to enrich themselves with cheap products and inappropriate cooking methods!! In my eyes, it's a disgrace, and the veterinary office should actually be your responsibility to close the shop!!!! 3) The next disgrace is that you're trying to take credit for yourself here. You've failed in the art of cooking, but luckily I'm not the only one who sees it that way!!!

A great little restaurant with incredibly good food. If you're looking for a restaurant that truly puts heart and soul into its food, this is the place to be. Whether it's sushi (which is of outstanding quality) or simple fried noodles, I've never been disappointed. The food is always freshly prepared. Furthermore, the owner and all the staff are incredibly hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. You're always welcomed with open arms here. We usually place a quick order via WhatsApp and are then given a pickup number and time. This has always been adhered to without a hitch.

The food was very greasy! I paid 30 euros, and it was absolutely inedible. They really shouldn't have cooked; unfortunately, everything was inedible. I'll never order anything from there again. They still kept my money.

Fair prices, good food, nice staff. 8/10 Ordered pho beef, homemade lemonade, Vietnamese coffee and wantang soup. Total = €29 Recommendation: Provide hoisin sauce and sriracha by default for the pho, aside the lemon slice. It would be nice to also have beef balls in the pho, aside the brisket.

It happened to be very tasty and I have to say that since I'm traveling all over Germany it's one of the best I've eaten.

The positive initial impression quickly vanished. We had to wait exactly an hour for a portion of rice and three sushi plates. To-go orders, however, were processed and served like an assembly line. The customer in the restaurant was expected to wait. The taste also didn't live up to expectations. Never again.

I've eaten at Meely Quan in Viersen with friends several times, and we've had nothing but positive experiences. The staff were always friendly, and the food and drinks were always truly delicious. We've never left feeling even remotely dissatisfied. It's truly a hidden gem, and the prices are great, too! If you want delicious Vietnamese food, you definitely have to go there.

A culinary delight of Vietnamese cuisine!

Amazing food at a decent price. I had the Red Curry with chicken and it was great. Hot, but still holds lots of flavor. The next day I had the peanut curry sauce with crispy chicken. Lots of flavor and good lunch portions.

We've been waiting here for 23 minutes and we still haven't had our food 🥲😭 Two families came after us and got their food before us 🤗 (still hungry)

Update 2025: Everything I wrote in 2022 is still true! Great dishes in a simple but cozy atmosphere. I have eaten there several times now and have been very satisfied every time. The Vietnamese dishes are relatively simple but made with fresh ingredients and very tasty! As for the sushi: I don't think we have anything better to offer in Viersen at the moment! The first picture shows sushi menu number 7, the second shows number 8. I had trouble eating the entire menu on my own but it worked. The prices are very fair across the board and that also applies to the drinks. Tip: Lemongrass tea, of course with fresh lemongrass. The service is very friendly and polite, although there is sometimes a bit of a problem with the language, but that's not a problem for me.

A nice surprise both on the way to our holiday destination in Germany and on the way back, nice to be able to have lunch here. Including Vietnamese dishes, sushi and wonton/noodle soup. Convenient: Close to bakery, supermarket and other practical shops. Take some time to eat quietly, if you are in a hurry I think it is better to order something to take away.

We've ordered and picked up from Meely Quan several times before, and yesterday was the first time we ate there. As always, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We tried everything and it all tasted great - especially the sushi, which is some of the best I've ever had! The children also really enjoyed the food. The presentation of the dishes was really a highlight - everything not only looked delicious, but was also prepared with great attention to detail. The service was friendly and courteous, and the ambience in the restaurant rounded off the great experience. We can only warmly recommend the restaurant!

In Barcelona there are many Asian, Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants, but Melly, who is a fabulous and very dear host, has exceptional food much better than the food in Barcelona. Any soup, any dish on the menu has exceptional flavors, the crispy duck and chicken are the best, the mango sauce, peanut sauce elevates your palate. The mango juice, the lemon and ginger tea are spectacular. Melly and her entire family are fantastic, dedicated to service and customer attention. Very correct treatment and they are very attentive. Our favorite place for a snack in Dulken. The hosts are very welcoming and always try to please. Large portions, good selection of dishes. In the evening, when there are a lot of people, you have to wait, of course. We find food especially delicious in the morning, before lunch, when the kitchen workers have the opportunity to put all their skills into the finished dish, without unnecessary haste. But this is just a guess)

I was in South East Asia for a while. Unfortunately, many restaurants here are not like the food there. This one does. The food is fresh, you can taste it; The Tom Ka Gai is one of the few that tastes the way it should, which made me very happy. The main courses are large and the price is low. I will go here again. The atmosphere is nice, you can tell that the owner is making an effort. lots of plants, quiet ambience. The service is fast, reliable and friendly. While looking for dinner, we found Meely Quan via Google Maps. We ordered takeaway from the restaurant. The restaurant was well attended. The food was ready about 25 minutes after ordering. A great time for the restaurant to be busy. The food was made with fresh ingredients and tasted very good. We found the portion size to be very good. Everyone has had their fill. A clear recommendation and this was definitely not the last visit

We have been regular customers since it opened two years ago. Everything, absolutely everything, that we have ordered so far has been perfect. Absolutely fresh, very lovingly and decoratively prepared and always really tasty. For me, the homemade lemonade is also a highlight. The owner and her family are very polite, friendly and accommodating. The prices are absolutely moderate and have not increased since the VAT increase for restaurants. The restaurant is attractively furnished and decorated. Parking spaces are plentiful. What more could you want? The only drawback is the many "collectors" who have pre-ordered their food to take away. Sometimes they stand between the tables right up to the entrance, which makes eating quite uncomfortable and restless for the guests there. Sometimes I have the impression that those who pre-order are given priority, but that is self-explanatory. Otherwise, as I said, everything is fine.

I was there very spontaneously and since the shop was well attended, we ate there on site. The portion was too small for me, the meat was baked and cut into strips. It was very thin, no comparison to my other Chinese snacks in VIE City. The taste was very good and the vegetables were fresh. A scoop of rice... it could easily be 2. I was still disappointed. Customers ordering were constantly scurrying past you, it was very drafty, there was someone standing in front of the door with the engine running, which meant there were exhaust fumes. The door was stuck, so she had to get up often. The service was nice and the food came quickly. It was also quite loud. Wasn't my thing sorry, maybe I'll come back and eat something different. It's not comfortable to sit there either, it doesn't have a restaurant atmosphere. Parking spaces are plentiful. Access with a wheelchair is not a problem, I can't say anything about the toilet. Afterwards I got 2 pretzels and sushi from Aldi. For 2 people about 25 euros with 2 small drinks. Edit: I've been there twice for sushi and that was great. The second time we had to wait quite a long time. Anyway now for sushi 5 🌟

I've been getting food here regularly since it opened - yesterday I was so disappointed that I'm writing a review. Unfortunately I neglected to take photos! No.26 mango curry with chicken and No.27 chop suey with crispy chicken --- there was a lot of rice and a lot of "sauce" with both dishes. Unfortunately, with the chop suey there were hardly any vegetables in the sauce (or should I say soup?) - I basically had to fish for them in the bowl - there were so few. The chicken meat was very crispy --- the edge pieces were so baked that you couldn't eat them. There were a lot of carrots in the mango curry - too many carrots - and I seriously wonder if there isn't a more authentic vegetable than "carrots"? And if there are carrots, then not in bulk. Maybe the food in the restaurant is better - the dishes richer... I'll try that again - to be fair! Because there are probably fewer complaints from customers who pick up their food.... and get annoyed at home!!!

The food was great, the toilet was a flop. As soon as you sat down, a friendly waitress arrived who lovingly looked after her guests. The food was prepared quickly and tasted delicious. I ordered the mango curry, my companion the Meely duck. The only point of criticism is the toilet: the urinal is completely overflowing and blocked. Note for future guests: you cannot pay using contactless cell phone payment methods.
