Medya Döner in Siegen

For me, definitely the best doner kebab in Siegen. The steak doner (now available on certain days) is highly recommended.

Delicious and juicy doner meat (both chicken and veal), plenty of fresh salads, and an equally wide selection of sauces make for one of the best doner kebabs I've ever had, served in a beautifully crispy bread. The three people behind the counter were very nice and friendly. Even under pressure, their friendly manner and well-coordinated teamwork ensured they maintained a pleasant demeanor. This snack bar isn't a three-star restaurant, but it's definitely a three-star snack bar. I'll be back. I promise!

I'm not saying we have THE BEST döner in Siegen here. Everyone has to decide that for themselves. But this is definitely a contender for that title! The food is great and high quality. The service is probably the best you can expect in a döner shop... waiting times are kept to a minimum and everyone is friendly. Highly recommended.

Yesterday was my first time at Medya and I'm thrilled! 👍👍 I had a veal doner kebab and some steak skewers to try. Both were absolutely delicious. Plus, the four staff members were relaxed and friendly. I immediately regretted having driven past Medya for the past few years!

We used to love going there. Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated considerably. The currywurst is inedible. The doner bread is very soft. What a shame

Steak kebabs are only available on Sundays. The price/performance ratio is excellent. The hour-long drive is definitely worth it.

I've rarely eaten such a bad kebab! The meat was pure garbage, just gristle and fat. All three of us threw away half the kebab. And then it cost over 20 euros – just tossed in the bin. It's a disgrace, bordering on assault.

Review: 1 star – Only because 0 isn't possible!! Yesterday I ate by far the worst kebab of my life, and I've certainly experienced a lot. The bread was a soggy disaster, as tough as old chewing gum. The meat? Completely overseasoned, as if someone had tried to use every single oriental spice blend at once, without any sensitivity. The side dishes were carelessly and roughly thrown in, as if an uncut head of lettuce had been torn to pieces in mid-air and shoved directly into the bread. Not a hint of balance or flavor, just raw reluctance, wrapped in aluminum foil. Neither of us finished the kebab, and that's saying something. Normally, you can find *something* good even in the worst kebab. But here? An absolute disaster. This kebab wasn't just bad, it was an insult to the entire art of snacking. This kebab doesn't belong on a plate, but in front of the Geneva Convention!! When I threw it away, I was even afraid the trash can would throw it back in!! I advise any kebab lover not to order kebabs here. If your money, human dignity, and stomach are important to you, don't. ~ cheers

I've been eating here regularly for about 25 years—sometimes more often, sometimes less often. The food is always good, the guys behind the counter are all friendly, and the service is always super fast, even when it's busier.

We had Turkish pizza with salad there, I didn't order spicy food and just wanted green iceberg lettuce, but unfortunately I didn't get what I ordered, which is a shame.

One of the best kebab shops in Siegen and my trusted kebab man. It's one of the few that offers a variety of breads and on Sundays there's even real kebab (called "steak kebab" - layered meat, not a rotisserie). It can also be seen in the photos and is worth a real recommendation. It currently stands out significantly above all the 0815 standard rotisserie kebabs in Siegen and remains absolutely within the price range!

To be honest, I'm really angry and disappointed right now. Unfortunately, we have repeatedly bought a Lahmacun rotisserie for a whopping 8 euros (the year before last it was 6.30 euros), which was once again extremely sparingly filled, although I pointed out that the last one was extremely thin and small compared to before. We have never had so little on our filled lahmacun. It's a shame, we were loyal customers for years because it was the best lahmacun on the street back then. It's a shame, we'd rather go somewhere else (e.g. Botan) where the stuffed rotisserie lahmacun is still the same as it used to be...

Friendly staff. The kebab was well-packed. Very good value for money. And they have garlic sauce. One of the best in Siegen.

Hey Digga. The three of us went to Medya Döner and we all really enjoyed it - I swear. Lahmacun for 9 euros and 2x rotisserie for 7 euros each are standard prices in the zip code area 57. I know my way around, I swear. The food was ready quickly and the staff were extremely friendly. I'll be back, especially since the menu has a lot more to offer. Fries and co from neighboring tables also looked good - I swear. Speaking of neighboring tables...Immediately after they became available, the tables were cleaned in an exemplary manner. Oh guys, what's wrong with you, your kebab has gone very bad. I'm a regular customer, but definitely not anymore. It wasn't a hit years ago, but the quality of the kebab was just right. And now that kebab has become even more expensive - which is understandable - you can't save on quality. So, I deleted my good review because I no longer like it, it's not just kebab. I hope you read my review and do something about quality and I will try again in a few months and buy the food from you, if it is still bad then I will get it somewhere else. PS: If you've had bad food once, you can say "Okay, but it's gotten bad since 2023!

By far the worst kebab Siegerland has been there twice. Now for the last time

Very polite and helpful. Had traveled from Münster and bought three family pizzas and three boxes of chicken nuggets. Plus two boxes with salad. In total I paid 100 euros and the food was very good. The taste and quality were right. Delivery wasn't possible, so I picked it up myself

I, friends and good acquaintances have been buying the kebab there for more than 15+ years and it is now poorly prepared; Cold, bread soft, meat too raw. Bought one again yesterday and were totally dissatisfied, it was cold and the bread was soft, as if it hadn't even been warmed up and the meat wasn't fried well. The times when 2 men worked there (the 1st chubby & the 2nd slightly skinny), put in a lot of effort, put a lot of love into it & were very nice. These 2 men were the face of Medya Döner in Siegen, you know them if you have been shopping in this store for 10-15+ years; 'The kebab was always good for them; The bread was always warm, crispy, well-fried meat & a good balance between meat & salad so that it wasn't difficult to eat the remaining meat in the end! A lot of effort was put into it and love was put into it, respect to you two.' Unfortunately it has now gotten worse. The price has increased three times but the quality is exactly the opposite.

Medya has the best kebab in the area. The sauces are very tasty and the meat and filling are also great. The team is perfectly coordinated and even when there is a lot of traffic, waiting times are minimal. The employees are always friendly and respond to customer requests. Keep it up!

Very good kebab with nice staff

I've been going to the kebab shop for 15 years. Unfortunately, the quality of service and food has steadily declined, especially in recent years. My last 3 kebabs weren't as I ordered them because the employees weren't attentive. There is also room for improvement when it comes to preparation. In most cases, after a few bites, the salad is gone and all that is left is meat because no effort has been put into its preparation. If you're lucky and the boss prepares the kebab then it's worth it. But that rarely happens, most of the time the boss is just there to cash in. It's a real shame to have watched the kebab shop decline over the years. As a teenager you could still order the kebab with "as usual" and have fun with the staff. Now only (incorrect) mass processing and poor coordination behind the counter. If you want a good kebab in the Siegen area that is prepared exactly as ordered, it's best to go somewhere else (e.g. Botan).

Ein echt leckerer Döner. Brot, Fleisch und Soße waren geschmacklich top. Auch der Rucola im Salat, war Außergewöhnlich und gut zugleich. Das ganze serviert in einer ordentlichen Portionsgröße.

Döner Tester Siegen Ein super Döner, ich würde mal sagen einer der besten. 5 von 5 Sternen von meiner Seite aus, der Döner ist voller Fleisch und wird nach Wunsch vorbereitet. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich, und man hat die Möglichkeit dort gemütlich zu essen. Der Döner bleibt einfach der beste in Siegen. Parkplätze genug Vorhanden

Wir waren gestern Abend um 22:30 Uhr noch ein Döner Essen Service und Qualität 1a Personal sehr freundlich spart nicht an Zutaten Der Laden ist gut besucht, das ist ein gutes Zeichen. Der Döner war sehr lecker, das Fleisch war richtig gut gewürzt Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder hier her. Anbei noch ein Foto, lieben Dank ❤️

Super lecker das esse. Sowohl der döner als auch der döner Teller. Schöne dicke pommes die Soßen sind alle sehr lecker. Gibt nix was man bemängeln könnte.

Geschmacklich ganz ok. 1 Punkt Abzug wegen dem Ambiente, das wirkt leider schon etwas schmuddelig. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Lokal.

War kürzlich zum ersten mal dort. Sehr freundlicher Service, angemessene Preise und die Möglichkeit zwischen Kalb - und Geflügelfleisch zu wählen. Wir haben Dürüm und Lahmacun gegessen und waren angenehm überrascht. Und sind sogar satt geworden ;) Sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch, da auch die langen Öffnungszeiten für uns sehr komfortabel sind.

Dönertasche mit Kalbfleisch war sehr lecker! Und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Gellek Memnun.

Bester Döner in der Stadt. Haben allerdings auch deutlich ihre Preise erhöht sodass wir nur noch selten einen Döner-Tag machen. Lecker ist es hier und Sonderwünsche werden berücksichtigt.

Nicht ganz günstig, dafür sehr lecker und schnell...

Früher als ich noch in Siegen gewohnt habe mein "All time Favorit". Auch heute noch immer der Dönerladen meiner Wahl, wenn ich in der Heimat bin. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die zuletzt doch leicht nachgelassen Qualität und der stark gestiegene Preis, der nur noch schwer im Verhältnis zur Qualität steht. Rotkraut gibt es zum Beispiel nicht mehr.
