McDonald's in Schwelm

Other McDonald's are definitely better! Food is okay! Sometimes there are no things you want to eat! Service is very bad, even the boss or manager of the store stands behind the counter and looks at you angrily and is very unfriendly.

Unfortunately it was a real letdown today. Not customer focused. I waited 15 minutes for my order, which wasn't even complete and was even wrong. We weren't the only ones who had to wait a long time and received an incomplete order. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes for an apple turnover, even though they said 6 minutes. During the 20 minutes, apple turnovers were given to other customers who had ordered much later than me. What a disgrace. There was also no excuse for having to wait 20 minutes for an apple turnover, which wasn't even available when I asked more. I was then fobbed off with the cheapest ice cream as “compensation”, which in my opinion was no compensation for waiting 20 minutes for an apple turnover. Such a dirty shop. I was even accused of having everything already. Unfortunately the manager couldn't be found because that's really not possible. I will never enter this store again. Satisfying customers is apparently a foreign word here.

There are better branches in the area...

Super nice employees who are in a good mood and have fun at work - that's what a successful working atmosphere should look like. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good. Since I had to go to work very early myself, I chose this branch because I come from Remscheid and the branches in my area are still closed at that time. Always happy to visit. Keep it up, it's rare to find such a nice branch.

We were just at this McDonald's in McDrive, the service was very friendly, the order was 100% correct and the fries and burgers were also delicious. The service from the nice woman deserved four stars

The worst Mäckes I know. Corrected 3 times at the checkout and with 1 hamburger and 1 royal, it's unbelievable. Employees neither understand the ordering system via app nor our language. But then get snotty. No, don't go to McDonald's Schwelm, never again. The first thing that came out of the loudspeaker at the Drive Inn after an app order was: I can't find you, I don't know that yet. Then everything was typed incorrectly and then there was just chaos. But it doesn't matter, the main thing is that personnel costs are low.

The staff is catastrophic. My change is simply thrown on the floor at the drive-in and the woman doesn't understand a word of German. The order was taken incorrectly several times and then we were told to drive the car over and collect the money.

Why is there no report anywhere that the store is closed??? I had to laboriously find the nearest McDonalds.

Everyone is very nice but things are often forgotten...we were already on our way when we noticed it!

So I rarely write reviews but the staff is really bad. Too much is given out incorrectly and then as a customer you are shouted at that you are keeping the goods even though I didn't check the bags immediately and I didn't notice that there was a little too much. But the worst thing is you order chocolate shakes for the children and get two iced coffees. We only noticed it at home and then had to go back to Ennepetal, but something like that shouldn't happen. I'm taking a closer look, I saw something brown and thought okay, I'll always smell it now, it's really bottomless.

Everything was ok here. Fast, clean and tasty.

Well, I went to McD again today. I ordered a Mcrib, what can I say nothing has changed except new staff. Fries were limp, Coke was once again stale and the Mcrib was as boring as a fart. So now I've finally had enough of the store.

Open 24/7 and friendly staff 24/7. Very accommodating and the food was prepared quickly and well.

Old fat. Inedible. Hits the stomach. Service unusable. Store empty but still waited 20 minutes for cold food. Spices for fries are not used here

Stay away from this McDonald's. Warm cola without ice, unsalted fries. The food is simply tasteless.

Tables are not cleaned, we had to do that as customers. Food was soggy and cold. The floor is just as smooth as on a one-way track. Service isn't exactly the best either. Something is always missing. The star goes to the cola, at least it was cold 🤣

Unfortunately I cannot give minus stars. The burgers cold. The non-carbonated cola. The staff rude. The floor was totally slippery. We won't be entering this store again. It's a real shame that people don't work in a customer-oriented manner here.

Ugly atmosphere, just good enough to get calories at night when you need them and everything else is closed.

Ordered 3 cola, these were hardly carbonated, as expected for 4 euros per cup. Unfortunately you couldn't stay inside because the air conditioning wasn't working and with the 34 degree heat outside you should be able to eat in the cool. It was pleasant outside but the storage cupboard for the rubbish was so full that you didn't know where to put your rubbish. A pity. Things used to be much better here

I really love McDonald's ice cream and their fries are impeccable. The muffins are delicious too...

Lots of people here who don't care what it looks like here. Regardless of whether it is staff or among customers. The trays are simply left there, things are left where they don't belong. The tray trolleys are often overcrowded. Burgers are more and more often a disappointment, actually always, no matter what you get, they are usually cold, fries too. The cold drink lacks carbon dioxide. Savings are being made everywhere and yet prices here have become around 65% more expensive in the last 2-3 years. 1 cheeseburger from €1.39 to €2.29.

So, every time we get food here, something is missing! Today we were there with family. I think the store is overwhelmed with large orders. Not only was something missing, but we also received empty nuggets boxes. So my tip! Check EVERYTHING at checkout!!! The taste is like everywhere else, delicious Mcs 😅

I was in the drive out of love for my wife. I used to think it was an experience but it's over. Service tried to seem nice, the food satisfies the cravings and the thirst for it is the cause of possible water shortages in the country. Highlight, I was able to eat in the car and my wife was happy

Even when I was traveling for work (now retired for 12 months), I often went to different Mäkkes. I don't really like the one here in Schwelm. Unclean and unfriendly staff. If cleaning was done more often (wiping tables, sweeping floors, for example) and the staff forced a smile from time to time, things would look different.

We had dinner here on Monday afternoon with 2 children and 2 adults. The store wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, we had obviously been forgotten. People came after us and received their orders before us, even though they also ordered Smart Menus. After 15 minutes I at least got our drinks myself. After another 5 minutes someone came to the table and asked for our receipt. Another 8 minutes later our food arrived. Warm but without a word of apology after we were 28! minutes in this slow food shop. If it's full, no problem, but if the store is almost empty - that's not possible!

Restaurant and food were good. The staff and the lady who served us were very unfriendly. When we asked if we could have a lid for our drink, she said there is no lid in this store if you want to eat here and no straw either. The nice colleague told her she had to give us a straw and she refused. In protest we were then given a lid for the drink. I will not visit this store again. There are other mc d. Where the employees are more competent.

This is unbelievable, the food was ice cold, the service was very bad, I ordered table service and waited 40 minutes for the food, I go to the front and they say it's not possible, their display is broken, how should I know and the shift manager Maria was very, very unfriendly, she is a role model for other employees and not like that and I had my 2 year old son with me and she screams at me, that doesn't work, so she will hear from me and I have a video where she screams at me for no reason.

I can't even believe it. I go there in the morning because I'm hungry with my colleague and think to myself that McDonald's will save my day. But then I see that seven euros for a shitty burger that doesn't even taste good. I can make it myself for €2.50 and it tastes better. Honestly shocked

Worst service ever. Don't even want to give a small child shock lenses because the little one was ordered a Mc Sundae. That's why the shift leader shouts around and demands €2 for a few shock lenses, which is friendly to children - something else this MC Donald never says against.

A very clean McDonald's with attention to detail (fresh cut, flowers on the table, clean new advertising flyers for current products) stands out from the other impressions of McDonald's. Restaurants turned out to be positive.

One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I actually don't think it's a tragedy that people sometimes forget a chip. We're all just human, but when I as a customer point it out nicely and the employee yells at me that I have all the fries in my bag and only after reading out the order slip several times did she finally check the order again herself. Lo and behold, a fries were missing. But then you still clumsily stuff the fries into the bag instead of at least admitting the mistake. But in my eyes it's the biggest flop and in my eyes a real nonsense. My friend ordered an MC Plant and it kindly came with a meat patty. Unfortunately we only noticed this when we were already on the way. Luckily my friend checked before she took a bite, as this isn't the first time we've experienced this mistake at a McDonald's. We definitely won't go here anymore.

Sirvice OK, ambience OK, toilets already at 10:00 in the morning, NOT OK! If you can't even wash your hands after using the toilet because there's no soap, nor anything to dry your hands afterwards, that's really NOT good! Was there again in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m., same as in the morning. sry, but #nogo

Worst McDonalds left, 3 cars in front of one. The store was empty, just a 25 minute wait. The employees who work at the counter/drive in barely speak German. Simply sad, no sign of a fast food restaurant, service and poor cleanliness.

It's a McDonald's. But it is the McD with the slowest McDrive I have ever experienced. Regardless of whether there are 3 cars in front of you or none at all, it always takes 20 minutes longer than anywhere else. The highlight was actually one evening at 8 p.m., no car in front of me, I just wanted a fries and 6 chicken nuggets: it actually took 20 minutes. The one in Ennepetal is significantly faster (although they only let you drive up to the counter when the food is ready).

Mc's is supposed to be open 24/7 but then sends us out because they're too lazy to clean afterwards. Btw we had 04:08. I don't understand, you have to expect that you have to work

Waiting time at the drive counter was too long (sometimes 10-15 minutes) so 1 star deducted otherwise always satisfied. You will be served very quickly inside. Actually, the drive switch should always have priority (the company's requirement), as you know if you've ever done this yourself as a part-time job.

I ordered a Happy Meal and received 2 wrong products. It's a shame that they don't read the orders correctly and pack the wrong food.

Got here at 10am looking for a quick, decent breakfast. Theoretically, an order would have been possible at the checkout. Effectively, however, you stand there with your legs in your stomach and are simply ignored by the staff, who stand at the back of the kitchen, in the open office door, animatedly discussing things with each other and fiddling with their cell phones. So back to the terminal. There is no table service here either. As with other hotels owned by the franchisee "UWI", there are generally no associated table stands at the terminals. So, McDonalds, if I, as a customer, do the work for you, type my order into the system myself and pay for it myself so that you can save yourself even more expensive specialist staff and hire more cheap minimum wage idiots in your restaurants, then I expect at least: to be served at the table instead of having to stand with my legs in my stomach while I wait for my food. The only busy employee that morning was a slightly older lady with a rather limited knowledge of German, but still very concerned about politeness and service, to whom the colleagues fiddling around on their cell phones equally put the drive-in on her ear and gave her the thumbs up she wipes the floor. The latter was at least clean. No given here. Anyone who comes here later in the evening knows what I'm talking about. Due to the rest of the staff being remarkably uninterested in working, the preparation of scrambled eggs with coffee and a McMuffin took 12 minutes - not because it was freshly prepared, as scrambled eggs and the mushy roll were at room temperature at best. And considering the size of both, that was my last breakfast here for a long time. The scrambled eggs, with a lot of goodwill, are 1/4 of what they were when breakfast was introduced. And the McMuffin? Well, I'll say this: the slice of boiled egg that some bakeries put on the cheese roll as decoration is bigger than what was on this soggy concoction. The only positive aspect of the breakfast: the coffee was hot. But of course the coffee cream we ordered wasn't on the tray again. Conclusion: 5 stars for the cleanliness of the floor this morning, three stars for the coffee, minus one because the coffee cream was missing again, ZERO stars for every other aspect of this shop. Makes one star on average with a lot of goodwill. Take the “fast” out of “fast food”. Or better yet, you close the Mäckes there and rent the space to a bakery that makes fresh sandwiches there in the morning. As a customer you would get more out of it. Never ever!

Today I wanted to redeem an app voucher. Cappuccino for €1.79. It tastes good too. It was also displayed on the screen at the checkout €3.79 minus €2.00 discount = €1.79 But then I had to pay the €3.79. When I asked why??? He couldn't do anything about it, that was just the way it was, unfortunately not in such kind words. No effort from MCD to make suggestions or even ask if it should be canceled. Take it or leave it, was the motto... Hmm. What should I think of this? What would you think of that? Apparently the "S.....store" makes so much sales and profit that no individual needs to be taken into account. I like to go where I am welcomed as a guest. Always with the motto: “The sound makes the music” So: Be careful at the checkout!!!!!!!!!!!!

McDonald's is good. Unfortunately, if you take the food with you, you first have to check whether everything is in there. Unfortunately, things were always missing from the last two purchases. Some employees should stay at home. Kindness can be learned.

Just bought a burger at Mc Drive for the whole family but two citizens are missing

This independent franchisee will NEVER EVER see us/me again. Just NAUGHTY.

Eating together as a family was not possible. The ordering machines don't work... the app coupons shouldn't be valid at the checkout. The obvious shift manager is an older man with glasses from the south. His behavior was absolutely disrespectful and unfriendly. My request as a customer was ignored EXTRA twice in a row. Do I eat??? Never in that store again!

It's actually a shame that there is no more cutlery. I'm not designed to eat with my fingers. That was in the Middle Ages but today...

Unfortunately very disappointing. Checking the order is mandatory here. I've been here several times and have never received my complete order without checking. This ranges from a lack of sauces to a happy meal that was actually missing everything apart from the burger and fries. The fact that you don't get a roll with nothing in between is everything.

Unfortunately, I have received a cold burger every now and then. But lately I can't complain because everything has always been perfect. I can only rate the staff as neutral. Neither exuberant friendliness nor unfriendliness can be described here. Sometimes the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Overall it's a typical McDonald's, you either like them or you don't.

Sure it's a fast food restaurant, but you can at least expect it to be a little more hygienic. The toilets are a disaster.

With every order we and friends have made recently, something is always missing. Mostly dips or nuggets. At the last one then a Big Mac. It's better if you don't have anything else to do because of the time, a few km further to Ennepetal. The service is a little better there.

I give the branch 4/5 stars because it tends to compromise on the quality & staff, but overall it's good there.

OK for in between. UNFORTUNATELY, MC Drive IS OFTEN COLD. We try again and again because it's easily accessible from us, but as already mentioned it fails in 50% of cases. Often you have to warm up again at home, which is actually a shame. Staff often seem to be overloaded, there are often long waiting times on MC Drive, so you have to park and order faster inside 🙃 The price development in fast restaurants is now a catastrophe, cheap, good, fast food is different... MC used to be really good. But if everything works according to specifications in production on site and there are friendly staff then it's ok... 😉

Oh, how happy I was with my granddaughter to feast on really tasty Fastfoot. Then that !!! The quality of the food wasn't good at all. The staff may be overwhelmed? The only thing that tasted delicious on our menu was the barbecue sauce. But, here it comes…….the drinks were watered down, the chicken nuggets were too hard on the outside and almost tasteless on the inside, the fries are buttery soft and stale, the Mac Rib was way too thin and didn’t taste like “Ripp”! Oh - how delicious it used to be at McDonalds, always a feast for the eyes, nose and palate. What happened at MD that the quality has deteriorated so much??? My granddaughter and I are very disappointed and sad drove home. We probably won't be visiting MD again for a long time.

There was no toilet paper in the toilets. Were not cleaned and there was no soap when washing hands. The cheeseburgers were dry. But the fries were great.

When ordering takeaway, you should always check that everything you ordered is included. We're always missing something... even if it's just a sauce! The fries there also leave something to be desired.

Absolutely crazy! If you don't pay with your card, you won't even be looked at or served. After 20 minutes and asking several times who you could pay for your order from, you only got one from me and the lady just moved on. 👍🏻 It couldn't be worse.

Service Katastrophe. Essen geht. Ambiente normaler MCs. 22.01 1:35 hier 2:07 noch immer am Schalter und genau 1 Auto vor mir kam ran obwohl Parkplatz leer ist. Keine ahnung was man da macht oder ob man noch frisch alles zubereiten muss bei einer FastFood Kette aber heftig über ne halbe Stunde bei komplett leerem Parkplatz warten zu müssen damit von einem Kunden die Bestellung aufgenommen wird. Zudem sind die Eingänge geschlossen und man kann als Kunde nicht in den Laden.

Kann daran liegen das es sehr voll wahr aber meine Begleitung hatte teils kalte Pommes und das Team schien etwas überfordert gewesen zu sein. Alles im allem, üblicher Aufenthalt bei einem MC Donalds

Da fährt man mit seinem LKW vom schönen Sauerland nach Recklinghausen und dank der Brücke in Lüdenscheid natürlich über Land. Höhe Radevormwald bekam ich dann irgendwie Heißhunger auf Pommes. Aber woher nehmen um diese Uhrzeit 🤔 Da viel mir ein, das ich mal gelesen habe, das der MC in Schwelm 24h offen haben und was soll ich sagen, upp es stimmt. 👍 Es ist war etwas komisch zu Fuß durch den Drive In zu laufen, da ich mitm Lkw da nicht durchkomme 😂. Dann meine kleine Bestellung per App (11,99€) abgegeben und vom freundlichen Mitarbeiter sehr gut bedient worden. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und alles war auch in der Tüte. 😃 Die Curly Fries und die Cola waren dann im Lkw genauso super wie der letzte Döner nachm Saufen 😍 ich sage einfach nur danke und finde es toll, das es in der Service-Wüste Deutschland noch solch einen Lichtblick gibt 👍

Update vom 28.12.2023 Der Tiefpunkt ist erreicht. 20-25 Minuten Wartezeit pro Fahrzeug am Autoschalter, da nur Minimalbesetzung an Personal eingeplant wurde, wie Mitarbeiter mitteilten. Leider auch dieses Mal Fehler bei der Ausgabe. Der Franchisenehmer spart lieber als auf Kundenzufriedenheit Wert zu legen. Ich bin bei der Filiale endgültig raus Da fahre ich lieber etwas nach Ennepetal rein und nehme den Mc Donalds bei ATU. Oder nehme eine andere Alternative. Und bitte passt auf ob Ihr auch das bekommt was Ihr bestellt habt. Bisher hatte keine Bestellung fehlerfrei geklappt ..... Diese Filiale ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen!!! Na ja, der übliche McDonalds Standard, nur in etwas langsamer. Allerdings beim erneuten Besuch ein Burger falsch, (billiger Standardburger statt des bestellten 55ers und leider fehlende aber bezahlte Ware durch wenig qualifiziertes Personal mit Aufmerksamkeits-Defizit beim Packen. Nicht mal die Richtigen Saucen dabei. Da rächt sich die nur flüchtige Kontrolle weil es sehr voll am Autoschalter war. 18.4.2020 17:10 Auch wenn es noch so voll ist, auf jeden Fall genau kontrollieren was in Ihre Tüte gepackt wurde. Ist hier unbedingt erforderlich. Schade, woanders klappt es doch auch.

Mitarbeiter waren nett aber hab statt curlyfries, normale Pommes bekommen…habe mich sehr auf die curly Fries gefreut :(

Drei Sterne fürs Essen, aber was mich soooooooooo sehr sauer macht ist das alles teuer wird und immer mehr gespart wird. Ich will verdammt nochmal einen Strohalm zurück und geht mir nicht auf den Saxx mit eurem Plastik gelaber!!!! Weil nämlich euer Dreckxdeckel nicht richtig drauf war ist mir das halbe Getränk auf die Hose gekippt!!! Armes Mc Donalds früher konnte man unbegrenzt Servietten und Strohalme nehmen jetzt ist das Menü teuerer und man bekommt nichtmal eine Serviette um diese musste ich auch fragen!!! Service gleich null!!!

Mc Donalds halt , essen schmeckt überall gleich Ambiente ist Recht neutral und der Service ist das ich meine Bestellung am Bildschirm aufgebe und bezahle und auf dem Bildschirm steht dann auch wann ich mein essen abholen kann. Personalkontakt gleich null.

Hier ist es sehr sauber und schön dekoriert. Es war ständig jemand da der auf den Boden sauber gemacht hat, vielleicht sogar schon zu viel. Das einzige was ich nicht schön fand das wenn gewischt wurde, der Boden mega rutschig war. Ich musste richtig aufpassen beim gehen. Das Essen wurde zum Tisch gebracht. Für die Kinder wurden Lollis verteilt. Das habe ich so auch noch nie erlebt. Draußen können die Kinder auf dem Spielplatz spielen.

Leider sehr unterschiedliche Portionen des McFlurry… einmal eins mit viel Sauce und topping und einmal mit sehr wenig. Leider sehr enttäuschend.

Kleinere Filiale, guter Service und gutes Essen. Leider um die Mittagszeit sehr voll und dadurch etwas Wartezeit.

Ich war schon bei vielen McDonald. Dieser ist überdurchschnittlich sauber. Alles funktioniert, die Bedienung war schnell und hat am Tisch serviert. Dieser verdient den Namen "fast" food.

Essen war gut, die Räumlichkeiten sind für mich persönlich nicht so meins, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Es wurden gerade die Tische abgewischt und der Boden gefegt. Also ok. Bei der Bestellung des Dessert gab es eine kleine Sprachbarriere. Aber die Bedienung war freundlich.

Wenn die Kinder und Enkelkinder Hunger auf Fastfood haben.

Das Bestellen mit der App oder am Terminal im Restaurant ist nervig. Ich brauche immer viel zu lange um mich durch im Bestellmenue zu Recht zu finden. Und an der Kasse stehen meistens Menschen ohne Deutsch Kenntnisse. Fehlbestellung vorprogrammiert!!! Gruß Volker von der Pleuse 👽
