McDonald's in Wolfsburg

I had previously (at around 3-4months earlier) a 5star review here but idk what is going in this department on.... The dirtiest place ever become... Continuously problems with orders through different order platforms. Never answer their phone or just skipping it as well. Disgusting 🫣

Waiting times of 20 to 30 minutes are normal; staff are overwhelmed.

How can one forget that, with 4 citizens, 2nd primary school was not completed?

Today there was a very strong smell of feces... What was going on?!

Please, please bring back the "old" strawberry cake.

Super friendly service team, no matter what time it is, we always get our food super fast, highly recommended!

Unfortunately, this was very disappointing: The Chicken McNuggets were cold and seemed thinner than usual, and the fries even contained a piece of netted potato. I placed the order through Lieferando and found that the quality did not meet the standard I expect from McDonald's. Photos are available. I hope for a response or a solution from the restaurant.

The pictures speak for themselves... no Coca-Cola products because the CO2 system is broken. Well, if this takes as long as the milkshake machine problem last year, then we're in for a treat. Speaking of milkshakes: unfortunately, halfway through, the shake was just liquid and inedible. The burger tastes exactly as it looks in the picture. And if you want to wash your hands afterward, you have to use the disabled toilet. This branch really makes it easier for me to get away from fast food.

Very spacious branch, fast service, good food. However, the restrooms are a bit dated and could use some maintenance.

I ordered online, some parts were missing, and others were delivered incorrectly. No one answers the phone, and other attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful! Extremely disappointed!

They're unable to fully pack deliveries; something's always missing! They simply keep the money!

The food is up to standard, but unfortunately the restrooms are dirty (on a Saturday morning).

We come in and the table is really dirty. Then the employee cleans our table, but there are still stains. The food comes pretty quickly, and it was just basic.

The delivery was an absolute disaster. First, the wrong food was delivered way too late (45 minutes instead of 25, as per Lieferando), then the correct delivery took another 45 minutes, and the food was cold. The driver claimed there had been a mistake and he had to pay for the food, even though I had paid for the delivery via PayPal.

The food was lukewarm, the toilets were completely unhygienic, the floor was sticky like glue, and the smell was worse than a portable toilet after a week of festivals... It completely takes away your hunger.

Service was very friendly. Ambience was as expected. Food was occasionally stale. The fillet in my McSpicy was a hardness level of 4!

Almost every time I go out with my family and order takeout, we need food or the Happy Meal toy.

I stood at the McDrive last Thursday for about 40 minutes. No apologies, nothing...the food was still cold.

The food is okay. The restrooms are clean, but they don't smell nice.

Cold food, and then half of it was forgotten and arrived cold. I ordered from Lieferando. I tried to call, but they either hung up on me or the line was constantly busy! A complete disappointment and definitely not worth recommending.

The biggest rip-off shop ever where you order, the order is confirmed, you wait 20 minutes for the delivery and then the order is simply canceled without giving a reason, great, waited 20 minutes for nothing and I'm still hungry

The food is almost always cold, so you have to make sure you get what you ordered. One tip is to drive 2 km to the next one. It's said so often, but nothing changes.

This was my second visit in a row (I've had many others over the years), but once again I encountered very unfriendly staff. Friendliness is really becoming a rare commodity. Only the one lady who usually sits in the drive-thru is truly lovely and always super friendly. I won't be coming back after these two negative experiences!

I'm surprised there isn't a stereotype of German McDonald's being bad, because this one certainly was, just like any other one i visited in Germany. The food took 20 minutes to arrive, while we were dining in. Is ice also illegal in Germany? Because no single drink had it. The fries also tasted like they have been outside for a long time. There were flies flying all over the place, the floor was sticky, the staff is on their phones. What the hell is the point in having employees when they don't do their work?! Also no napkins after eating greasy food? And the worst thing last, my drink had hair and some weird black floating things inside. Never coming back

I understand it’s a McDonalds, and the expectations are always low, but somehow this McDonalds was worse than usual. Floppy fries, not cold “ice” drinks, sticky floors, flies all over the place, sticky floors…. Have I mentioned the sticky floors? Because these were very sticky. Today, 2 Cokes, 3 milkshakes, and 1 cheeseburger were missing. I've been calling there for an hour, and no one answers the phone. This branch is slowly becoming a police case, because this is how McDonald's makes money, and it's called fraud.

We've been waiting for over an hour for our online-ordered food, and the status still says it's being prepared. That's completely unacceptable, sorry! Checkout is immediate, but delivery is taking an awfully long time!

I went to McDonald's on Lerchenweg on Sunday and ordered via the app. The order was transmitted at 7:06 p.m. Because of the long traffic jam at the McDonald's drive-thru, I decided to pick it up inside. A fatal mistake, as it turned out. The area was complete chaos, full of people waiting for their orders. I had order 106. After about 20 minutes had passed, I dared to ask where my order was, as orders 108 and 109 had already been called. They looked at the computer and told me it was my turn after all. After another 6 minutes, the time had come (a total of 26 minutes waiting time), they handed me the bags to go. I took a quick look inside, and for just under €40, everything burger-wise seemed to be in the bag. Off home... when I got home, 2 fruitcakes and the 4 nuggets from the Happy Meals were missing. Fries lukewarm/cold, just like always. My written complaint to McDonald's and the franchisee hasn't been responded to yet, unless you know where you stand as a customer in this branch...really bad, like the entire service at Lerchenweg. So, McDonald's earned exactly the one star they wanted, albeit not in the relevant restaurant guide, but on Google. Great job, Maces, you won't be seeing me again anytime soon.

The Philly Cheese Stack is one of the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten there. Please make it a permanent part of your menu.

It's a Maccy. My son wanted Mac breakfast, but they had not croissants on Sunday.

The terminal wasn't working, and the employees only noticed when I told them. There was such a long line at the counter right in front of it that I would have starved if I'd waited. I worked at McDonald's myself in Fallersleben, and I know for a fact that you can order at the checkout. The woman said it wasn't possible. She was the manager. That was the woman of Asian descent. I've never heard anything so rude and impertinent.

A terrible experience. Waiting times for any product can be up to an hour (unlike a fast-food restaurant), and the staff yells at customers when they're justifiably annoyed. Orders are served randomly; whoever pushes the hardest gets their order the soonest. Poor staffing, employees completely overwhelmed. McDonald's, please take over the audit.

I wish I hadn't given it a star. It was quiet. We've been waiting 40 minutes for our food. We were here last time. Fallersleben is soooo much better, and above all, faster and cleaner.

The food was what you can expect, standard McDonald's quality. But it took 17 minutes to prepare my order. This is supposed to be fast food. Also, no napkins provided. The tables where dirty and the floor was sticky everywhere.

Worst McDonalds in Wolfsburg, not only are online orders poor, but last time they mixed alcohol into my Coke Light, fries were cold and stale and the cheeseburger was already old.

My visit to McDonald's was a real experience: The food was delicious, as always—juicy burgers, crispy fries, and that classic taste that always hits the spot. However, things were pretty hectic behind the counter; the staff seemed stressed, and there were some confusions with the order. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly, and I'll be happy to come back—the taste makes up for a lot!

I know this is a fast food restaurant, but the ingredients shouldn't be wrapped in paper next to the burger, but on top. My McChicken had more lettuce in the paper than on the burger, and it was completely dry because the sauce was entirely in the paper. The food was prepared quickly, though.

No, there are better McDonald's! The staff aren't exactly friendly, the restrooms are dirty, and there's no paper in the dispenser. A smile on your face is something else entirely.

I've been waiting for 45 minutes now and still haven't received any food, and from what I can tell from the kitchen, my order isn't even being prepared. I'm absolutely appalled by the service here and salute Carlos, who skillfully ignored our complaints and stole our receipt.

I waited over 45 minutes for my food. When I asked, all I got was a "It just takes a while." The McDonald's was very empty at the time. Never again. Shoutout to Carlos, who recklessly refused to bring me my food and stole my receipt.

They simply don't give out straws. Ordering took a long time. It was also messy. A child's birthday party just lay there the whole time, and no one cleaned it up.

Finally ate something after a long time. Never again, the hamburgers were completely dry. One slice of cucumber and a dollop of ketchup. They used to be really tasty, but now they're no longer edible.

The food is very, very tasty, but could be prepared better and with more love. Service is very complicated and doesn't deliver to many locations. They're also barely reachable by phone, despite delivery times.

The friendliest, nicest employee sits at the McDonald's Drive-In. I've been to many McDonald's throughout Germany, but this woman is always funny and very personable, and you fall under her Asian charm. Whenever I'm in Wob, it's a must to stop by the McDonald's Drive-In.

We always find the food very, very good. Everything usually works out well on site, and good heavens, if the wait is a bit long, then that's just how it is. The employees aren't machines, but... now comes the thing that really annoys me. At the drive-thru, we've regularly been "lucky" (at least 7-8 times) that our order wasn't complete, but we still paid for everything. This back and forth is really annoying, trying to pick up the rest of our order ourselves! It happened again today, but it was already too late because we were too far away. It's really annoying because of the money we left behind (yes, it's always better to check yourself, I know, but sometimes you just rely on something... so we're not at all happy with the drive-thru...

A total disaster! The burger was carelessly slapped on so that the entire burger was lying next to the burger. Service was completely overwhelmed at times.

I ordered two dine-in menus with table service and waited almost 30 minutes. When I finally went to the counter, the ordered meals were simply sitting there – unprepared and obviously not attended to in a long time. The service was extremely poor, completely disorganized, and the staff seemed overwhelmed or disinterested. Furthermore, the restaurant was very dirty and unkempt. Overall, a disappointing and unpleasant experience – definitely not recommended. Note: Food had gotten really cold. Drinks were warm.

The cleanliness of this restaurant leaves much to be desired. We were there early, so there were no customers before us, and everything was dirty.

I regularly use the reusable system at McDonald's (cups and McFlurry containers) and have never had any problems returning the containers – even if they're from the day before. After all, they're professionally cleaned in the restaurant (or wherever else), as is standard practice with deposit systems. But today, an employee at the checkout at this branch loudly and rudely informed me that she wouldn't accept the containers as they were because the Coke and ice were a bit dry. This was inappropriate and unnecessary. It doesn't say anywhere that reusable packaging has to be cleaned beforehand – this also contradicts the idea behind reusable packaging and environmental protection. If customers have to wash the containers at home, the ecological benefit is lost. After all, I don't rinse my reusable PET bottles with regular Coke leftovers before returning them to the supermarket, and I get my deposit back. I also seriously question the efficiency of their internal cleaning processes – if a normally soiled cup can supposedly no longer be hygienically cleaned, McDonald's should focus on that rather than on the customers. Very disappointing – I hope McDonald's trains its staff better on how to handle reusable cups and customers.

When ordering multiple times, I received incomplete or even incorrect orders several times in a row. I noticed it two or three times while I was there. Not once, though. Orders generally take a very long time, both at the McDrive and in the restaurant. The record so far is over 30 minutes at the McDrive. At least one of the four ordering terminals is often unusable. When I pointed out that three of the four terminals weren't working today, I received an annoyed reply that I'd just have to wait until the last one was free. Drinks are generously prepared at the bar, so if you're lucky enough to get ice cubes in your drink, they'll probably have melted before you take your order. Employees who take care of the trash don't wear gloves and carry the food to the tables as they go.

For 20 years, the same tragedy has happened in almost all stores in the summer - the ice cream/shake machine doesn't produce any shakes because the air conditioning is no good and the super-expensive ice cream/shake machines are in the wrong place in the restaurant.

The food was good, but the coffee tasted weird. The staff were really quiet and didn't talk at all. There was a really weird smell, and I had a headache until I left. There were really weird noises in the restroom, like birds and robotic sounds, like a man's voice that kept saying, "Bo, bo, bo, wiu bo, bo." The speakers were all broken and were constantly blaring. If they didn't work, just turn off the music.

Very overwhelmed. The trays weren't cleaned, and the water from the cleaning was still sitting on them, where the fresh food was then placed. All the sauces were missing. Waiting time: about 25 minutes.

Small but perfectly formed. The food was good, and the order was complete. The place was clean, and you could sit anywhere without worrying. The service was incredibly fast; the order was ready in no time.

After never wanting to buy anything there again, we unfortunately tried again. For 35 euros, we got fries without salt, chicken nuggets that tasted of nothing except double-fried breadcrumbs, and very watered-down Coke. Thanks for nothing... That's it... Never again!!! I don't usually get carried away with reviews like this, but today's was so cheeky that I couldn't help it. Even if the food was takeaway, I know what's freshly prepared and what isn't!

It was the only place open past 11pm in Wolfsburg so I was great full to get some food. Compared to a US McDonald’s this felt expensive. Germans love their curly fries which was fun to have.

We waited almost half an hour for our order for two people – even though we had chosen table service. At some point, I went to the counter to ask if everything was okay with the order or if something was missing. Unfortunately, the employee was very unfriendly and pointed in a harsh tone at a tray that had apparently been there for a while. She asked for the table number, I gave it, and she simply told us to get the food ourselves. The food was already cold. I then at least asked for the fries to be replaced with fresh ones. This was done, but also in a very rude tone – and I was even told I was being rude. No apology, no understanding, no service. In the end, we were left with cold food and were treated very unfriendly. Very disappointing.

They're skimping on mopping the floor here. Crushed fries are everywhere. You don't want to step on them with your shoes!

My kids pick up from mc drive there every two weeks. Regularly queuing for a long time, always forgetting things. Furthermore, once my daughter's entire order wasn't handed over (inside) it was pure chaos. No apology, when I asked about it there were unfriendly answers to criticism. This has been going on for years now. From a quality management perspective, I see a lot of potential for improvement. In my opinion, measures are urgently needed.

Very disappointed today, the toy was forgotten at the Happy Meal, the food is cold, the fries taste sticky and are cold, the mozzarella snackers are otherwise hollow with little to no filling, the Big Tasty Bacon was served with only a thin strip of bacon.

Very disappointing! I ordered vegetarian food and got a product with bacon instead - an absolute no-go. The coffee was watery and had a strangely crumbly consistency. Despite only about 10 guests in the store, the waiting time was over 20 minutes. When I asked politely, the response was very rude. This is not how I imagine service or quality to be. Once and never again.

Experienced this morning at McDonald's: 25 minutes waiting time for breakfast, even though there were hardly more than ten people in the store. And what happened next? Forgot drinks and the “coffee” was an insult – watery water with traces of coffee powder, undrinkable. Not a word of apology, not a hint as to why everything is taking so long – nothing. The whole thing was a mess. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and uncoordinated. If you want a quick and reasonably edible breakfast in the morning, you should avoid this shop. For a global company like McDonald's, this is simply embarrassing.

03/06/22 We ordered 1 large and a medium coffee. The middle one was only 3/4 full. Saucers were omitted entirely. The floor sticks all over the restaurant. We cleaned the table of food residue ourselves beforehand. Let's see if we can come back again. Cannot be compared with the Fallersleben location. 08/16/24 Breakfast at 6 in the morning. It looks like something exploded. Crumbs and chips everywhere on the floor, benches and tables covered in ketchup and mayo. I think you should clean the place after work or before opening. Then breakfast will definitely taste better. May 2025 Unfortunately there is always an unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant. Air conditioning or toilet area, something is wrong here and should be checked after so many years.

This is the very last store.!!! Been waiting for 45 minutes. And no food yet.

Super great service, the negative reviews are incomprehensible

Unfortunately not recommended. We went in with 6 people and wanted to order something. We were directed to the boards so that we could order and type in ourselves. We answer that we would like to order that way. Then they answer us...then we can't order and eat here. Well, okay. We went and ate at the conference. We will now avoid restaurants with the capital M in the future.

Food as usual, branch looks really good too. But sorry, I've noticed several times recently that the staff (not exclusively, but mostly) are so disinterested and annoyed that I really don't feel like coming over anymore.

The Arabisch guy on sunday the 13th the 21.16 shift is so rude we asked him if he cpukd please clean the table where we are seated at and he says rudely kannst du doch ein andere tisch nehmen and the one next to us was also dirty I thought we were allowed to seat where we want in restueants what changed

Unfortunately, I am now very disappointed with this branch. The last 3 times something was always missing... sometimes 2 cheeseburgers, sometimes 2 large fries and yesterday all the sauces again (3x for nuggets + mayo & ketchup) I know that there is always a lot going on there and you sometimes have to wait 15 minutes for your food... but we customers pay for the goods and want to get them.

The store has absolutely no control over its processes! 5 people ordered at the same time, the first got their food after 35 minutes, the second after 50, the last got nothing at all. Outdoor area completely littered. There was a lot going on, but the employees often wandered around the restaurant aimlessly. “Fast food” is no fun!
