Worst, dirtiest, most disorganized McDonald's branch I know

Incredibly bad store. If someone wants something "quick" to eat, I would avoid this location. Every (full) high-end restaurant serves its customers faster than this Mcces. No matter how crowded it is, a waiting time of 30 - 40 minutes is standard here

The delivery service is very bad. 2 hours and I still haven't received my order. I cannot recommend it again

The food is certainly not bad, you just don't get it, after paying you are told that there will be a wait of over 15 minutes for a burger with only 4 people in the restaurant, and when you complain you are told that it hasn't been a fast food restaurant for a long time

Despite the MC Drive being empty, we had to wait about 10 minutes before the order could be accepted. Then I was sent to the second window to pay and was told to stand to the side and wait again (a good 10-15 minutes). The whole thing for 4 08/15 burgers, 1 happy meal and a wrap, the wrong wrap was even bagged. Ice cream was sold out for the Happy Meal. There's always something that goes wrong... We don't go there that often and I used to think that there were exceptions, but that doesn't seem to be the case after all... Was there for the last time today, I'd rather go to Haltern, Recklinghausen or Herten in the future.

So the fact that you have to wait more than 20 minutes for your food is more than just incompetent... You know that it gets full at peak times and then you need more staff... It's a shame that things are apparently doing very well financially... because that's how it will be probably never change anything in this store

MC Drive!!! Are you kidding me... 33 minutes wait for a coffee and 2 burgers, with me there were 4 cars, 10 minutes pre-ordered online. Marl is a sh... catastrophe, 3 men at the pot of fries and chattering around... Start working, branch manager change something...

It's crazy that something like this can be called fast food. Today on MC Drive with 3 cars in front of me waiting over 30 minutes. In the future, we'll probably go to Recklinghausen, with travel and waiting times probably even faster. Thumbs up

Unfortunately the food was cold several times and the drinks were warm. The waiting times are incredibly long, whether in MC Drive or in the restaurant, and it wasn't even particularly crowded. I've never had anything like this in any other McDonald's.

!!!!BEWARE VEGANS/VEGETARIANS!!!! Otherwise it always worked, unfortunately now for the second time in a row I got meat nuggets instead of plant-based. Luckily my friend tried it beforehand. I'm very very disappointed, a few months ago it always worked, of course a burger was missing or something like that but it was okay. Now for the second time there are no sauces for us, neither mayo/ketchup nor sweet and sour sauce. Forgot my friend's McRib last time. I enjoyed eating here every now and then, that won't happen next time, it's a real shame. I will submit supporting documents later.

Waited 20 minutes for a muffin and a wrap. Both cold. Not even an apology was asked. You can really only go here for the toilet. Luckily it's always clean.

Really great service from an employee who, when ordering at the table via the app, brought 2 different types of water to choose from because only one bottle was chilled. So he let me choose the variety. And because I had taken the non-chilled water, he came shortly afterwards with a cup with ice cubes in it, so I could then pour the warm water out of the bottle. Never seen such great service at a McDonald's!

MCDONALD'S was originally intended to be a FAST food store. But unfortunately that doesn't work in this McDonald's. Waiting more than 20 minutes for an order is possible in a café, but unfortunately not in a fast food restaurant. Rating as well as service.

Really a very long wait. This has nothing to do with fast food!! Burgers were cold and unfortunately the cola was warm. It's not worth eating here and not quickly anyway.

Snot shop 35 minutes for a Royal TS and 8 cheese nuggets. Staff totally overwhelmed, unfriendly, just complain to each other and also to the customers and throw the restaurant utensils around. The floor in front of the counter was extremely slippery because it was greasy. It's better not to go there anymore, but to Herten or Recklinghausen, for example. Then you'll still be finished faster, despite the longer journey.

First you have to stand in front of the intercom for a long time before you can even order even though there is no other vehicle in the MC Drive. Then there was no carbonation for the cola and as a replacement there was a warm bottle of cola, but the fries were cold. 🤦🏼‍♂️ The burger was rather thrown into the packaging and so lukewarm. Really the worst McDonald's I know in the Recklinghausen district. 👎🏻

CRAZINESS! Been there today (08/07/24). Waited in the drive for at least 20 minutes (there were 2 cars in front of me!). Of course my order was messed up - it's not the first time. There is no longer any sauce for the nuggets, the bigmac suddenly has a different bun, but you have a bigmac of 2 (see picture) & they don't even pack my chicken burger, but I was allowed to pay for it 😂. Thank you McDonalds, thank you for nothing! ☺️

They got two things wrong and they were very rude and they made us bring our food when we ordered for it to be delivered to us they also got many meals wrong yes I was today in the MicDonalds that it happened time 21:57 day second of August Please fix this

Terrible waiting times at Mcdrive, so I've never finished at Mcdrive in less than 30 minutes. usually rather longer regardless of whether there is 3.1 or no car in front of you. Food is still often cold and something is often forgotten. But the employees are friendly compared to the rest of the service.

Customer friendliness often leaves something to be desired and long waiting times (sometimes 30 minutes+) are not uncommon at peak times. However, the quality of the food is similar to other branches.

I was in the store today, July 27th, 24, and wanted to try the Popcorn Cola and ordered a Mc Flurry. Just a normal order, right? Apparently not for the two women standing in front. They simply made fun of my order, even though I was standing at the front of them! Respect! Well, I also work in the catering industry and of course you make fun of something sometimes, but not when the person is not even 1m away and therefore within obvious hearing range. Furthermore, I'm sorry that I gave the ladies behind the counter the job of putting the Coke machine into operation at 4:30 p.m. I don't have high expectations from McDonald's and I was still disappointed.

Unfortunately the branch is getting old. Parking spot: Due to the unfavorable traffic routing, the parking space is blocked if there are more than 3 vehicles in the drive-in. The parking spaces near the entrance are constantly occupied by McD delivery vehicles or employees' private vehicles. Employees/Service: I can't tell whether it's due to excessive demands, lack of interest or simply a lack of staff. Unfortunately, you wait a long time for your food here. Everything seems to be very disorganized. The milkshake machine is regularly broken or in need of maintenance. Conclusion: If possible, I'll switch to another branch.

An absolute no-go, how long you stand here on MC Drive has been getting worse every month since Corona. Recommendation to everyone: it's better to go to Herten because you can get there and back home faster, including the travel time, than here in Marl. Loading juice, waiting for food for 3 hours, ordered via Lieferando, rude staff on the phone. Order was pushed away

If you look at the other reviews you would think that a company should learn from them... none. Ordered something through Lieferando yesterday. And once again comments were simply ignored. So once again something wrong was delivered. This has probably happened 6 or 7 times now. The first few times it was delivered. The time before last, people got cheeky on the phone and blamed Lieferando. Now that's enough.

If you want to eat something here (especially Mc Drive), you should allow yourself enough time. It's best to take a day off straight away and have a few small snacks and something to drink with you while you wait. They are simply incredible here. When you finally get your order, you should eat it immediately. Getting the food home warm is almost impossible. Probably not even if you have an F1 racing car and exceptionally only see the StVO as a recommendation. Mc Liefer can only be recommended to a limited extent. I tried it, several times. The food usually arrived on time, but always cold. Will this be transported in refrigerators? I can only recommend the store to a limited extent. Mc breakfast is ok, there's nothing going on yet. At least most of the employees are friendly

Always worth a visit! But there are nicer branches of McDonald's!

The last shop... sneakers work here... yesterday 46 minutes waiting time in McDrive and there were 3 cars in front of me. Otherwise it's always absolutely slow... even if there's no car in sight, you always have to wait at least 10 minutes. The main thing is to always park outside of the camera for your statistics... Fast food is different...

I just bought 2 Royal TS for my granddaughter and myself. It took a really long time, even though it was very empty. There was hardly any lettuce on the burgers, a small piece of tomato and very little sauce. The burger is really dry. A joke for the money. Things are much better in Haltern. Not recommendable.

We were there at the drive in and even though it was empty we had to wait a long time. When asked why it took so long despite the empty restaurant. The friendly employee gave us the following answer. I work for minimum wage and why should I work faster. And we stood at the drive for three burgers for 25 minutes. Of course, like many things, they were lukewarm

No, it has nothing to do with fast food anymore, mcdrive waiting times are sometimes 10-15 minutes, the opening times are also a catastrophe, how can a single man who works a late shift and has to drive at least 40km home still be able to order from mcces, it's simply unbelievable how mcces has developed backwards and everything It's all about making a profit, the employees are just under stress and they often make mistakes, which I can't blame them for because it's the employer's fault. So... today it was underground. Our older daughter only eats fries from McD. Today the sauces were missing for two large fries, but they were included in the bill! If all you eat is fries and you're looking forward to it, it's pretty bad if there's no sauce. The highlight is when the otherwise beautiful, crispy, fresh fries aren't finished yet. In total we had four large portions. And in each case the fries were undercooked, soggy, with a lot of salt on top and no salt on the bottom. Unfortunately very disappointing. I'd rather wait longer if the quality is good. But wait a long time and then something like that, not nice at all. We used the mcdrive. We were actually relatively happy most of the time. But the waiting times are always long. I can live with that... Even today. Twenty minutes in the mcdrive until we had the food... but then not good quality... The only good thing was the nice employee with the headset. Unfortunately, we only noticed when we got home that the sauces were missing. But we have a 20 minute drive...

Today I was there with my children and when they had to go to the toilet I was shocked. There was pee all over the men's toilet and you couldn't use it. After I pointed out the condition of the toilet to the staff, they didn't clean it either.

My wife and I have been to McDonald's for a long time and we were very satisfied, the service was great, the store was clean and the food arrived warm. Finally a good McDonald's store. We'd love to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the McDonald's branch and was extremely impressed with my experience there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made my visit particularly pleasant. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The branch was also very clean, so I couldn't complain about anything. I can only warmly recommend this branch! We will be back. We definitely give it 5*.

The issue of cleanliness is debatable. Some of the tables were not properly tidied! Dirty floor. Price performance has also increased dramatically, the best thing is the price for water. Water costs almost €5 whereas a small Sprite costs just under €2.70. Incomprehensible.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at McDonald's and it was a complete disaster. At first we couldn't cope with ordering at the machine and a rather unfriendly lady refused to place our order at the checkout, which of course wasted a lot of time unnecessarily. Then several burgers were forgotten to put on the tablet. When I wanted to make up for it, they didn't believe us at first and then gave us the wrong burgers to the table. Since I didn't want to run to the checkout and argue 10 more times, we just accepted it in the end. Of course, eating cold also means so much time wasted. That was the last time we ate there!

Most of the food was mixed and so were the drinks. We changed one, but then it became inconvenient to have to change so many. Served very kindly! Room temperature below criticism, everyone was sitting in overcoats and eating, so the food was cold or cooled down very quickly.

Personal bzw. die asiatische Frau die dort arbeitet mehrfach extremst unfreundlich. Einmal ließ sie meine damals 3. jährige Tochter nicht zur Toilette, obwohl sie dringend musste. Erst sollten nach ihrem Schneckentempo die Corona-Formalitäten am Eingang geklärt werden. Leider ist dann ein Missgeschick passiert. (Essen wurde vorher schon am McDrive abgeholt, sodass die Formalitäten unnötig waren) Die hygienischen Zustände, (für die diese Frau anscheinend eingestellt ist) sind katastrophal! Der Boden ist gefährlich glatt vom Fett und die Tische sind jedes Mal mit Fett, Ketchup usw beschmiert. Bittet man sie den Tisch zu reinigen, bekommt man nur genervte/unverschämte Kommentare, da die private Unterhaltung mit den Kollegen wichtiger ist. Mehrmals musste ich auf Grund dessen unsere Tische selbst reinigen. Mittlerweile reicht es mir... dort geh ich nie wieder hin!

Leute bitte tauscht den Mann am Drive In Schalter aus. Absolut unfreundlich und unangenehm. Essen halt wie immer ein Glücksspiel bezüglich Geschmack und Vollständigkeit. Man bekommt das Eis und danach wartet man 10 min im Auto auf das Essen. Das Eis kann danach laufen. Achso.. und ihr habt ein Problem mit Mäusen im Drive in. Während unserer Wartezeit haben wir 5 Stück gezählt. Immerhin sind sie süß.

Fahren meist zu MC Drive. Leider dauert es in Marl bei MC Donalds am MC Drive unverhältnismäßig lang und zwar immer. Die Mitarbeiter geben sich Mühe, das geht leider bei den negativen Erfahrungen etwas unter, deshalb möchte ich es hier in jedem Fall erwähnt haben! Unsere größte Enttäuschung ist in Marl immer der MCRib. Die Sauce ist sehr dünn, zu wässrig, was normalerweise und bei anderen MC D’s nicht der Fall ist. Beim letzten Mal war ein mini Klecks Sauce auf dem MCRib und wer diesen Burger kennt, weiß, dass er „normalerweise“ in Sauce schwimmt. ;) Oft sind die Burger auch so „zusammengeklatscht“, was das Essen leider nicht leckerer macht…
