McDonald's in Marl

We like to go there, just cool.

the ice machine didn’t work. the food took almost 20min and we only ordered 4times 1 big rösti and 3 small things.

As often as something is forgotten there, you would think that it happened on purpose!

Got sick!!! Few days ago we are struggling with stomach cramps vomiting and diarrhea!! Thanks

Dirty restaurant I was there, dirty tables, unfriendly employees except for the cleaning help. I wouldn't recommend it the fries were green they said it was normal disgusting

Half is always missing. When it comes to the fries, I wonder if they were fries with salt or rather salt with fries

Everything is only lukewarm and the Royal cheese no longer tastes the same as it used to

So far we've always liked to stop at the golden M. We waited over 47 minutes for our food... the burgers were cold. The side tables were dirty from the previous one... not here again.

Worst Mc Drive ever. Just had 2 cars in front of me and waited half an hour to be able to place the order. Other cars have already fled (as long as they got out of the queue). Then I waited another 20 minutes for the food (nuggets and hamburgers) so I could have driven to Haltern or Recklinghausen in that time and it would have been faster. Absolutely ridiculous and no longer fast food

Almost every order is missing something! It doesn't matter whether you order to take away or from Lieferando.

It's still been there for months! the pickup monitor is broken. Why have numbers if you can't see when the order is ready. This results in more stress for employees. And sometimes you forget something. At the drive-in, always check your order to make sure everything is in it. What is missing always has more of a system. Profit making? 1 star is still too much. Ordering the same thing three times takes forever, totally rude when you ask. Because always three who came later got their order earlier. Apparently the order was swallowed in the system and then something is still missing. Never again.

So today was definitely my worst McDonald's experience. Ordered with the app and then had to wait 25 minutes on site. Pure chaos behind the counter. But 2 employees (obviously a couple) had time to exchange affection. A lady who was waiting with me was there 5 minutes earlier (we had enough time to exchange ideas) and was still standing when I was finished. When I got home, part of the order was missing and there was no option to complain about it in the app. Besides, everything that was there was already cold. So this branch saw me for the last time.

Definitely in the top 5 of the worst and dirtiest branches I have visited.

Otherwise, I was always very satisfied with this McDonald's, even if there were mix-ups or something was forgotten in my order, because the food was always warm and tasty. When it's busy, I understand such mistakes. But the last time I was there there was nothing going on, there were maybe 3 customers inside and 2 cars outside. And I was given cold, dried-out Plant McNuggets that tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. I ordered a large, therefore expensive pack. They didn't have the decency to give me new nuggets. Just because I don't eat meat, I don't want to be treated as a second-class customer. I'll think twice in the future about checking it out again after work. Very disappointing.

Truly the worst McDonald's I've ever experienced!!! Often you can't order and when you do it takes forever (2 hours is nothing unusual). It's incomprehensible how someone can't get something like this under control for years. Apparently the management simply doesn't care. Never again!!!

It took longer but the employees were nice and mentioned in advance that it would take a little longer.

Very disorganized, very dirty (garbage, leftover food everywhere and the floor sticks!) and very long waiting times. I'm surprised that McDonald's headquarters doesn't intervene with these long-standing conditions and reviews?!

After the family voted democratically on where we wanted to get something to eat on a very harmonious Sunday, the final result of the election was unfortunately this fast food chain. Since there were several of us, the order (6 x menu + individual burgers) was in the higher final total range, unfortunately there was once again a difference between ordering and receiving the goods. A fries and a burger were missing. After a successful call saying I was already on my way to you, the friendly employee said it wouldn't be a problem and apologized for what had happened. So far so good....... Now this branch has shown why it is wrongly called fast food. I spoke up and asked for the missing food as well as an additional menu (which I immediately paid in cash) because a friend happened to come by at home when I was leaving and also felt a little hungry. The employee put the fries and the burger on the counter very quickly, She ignored my hint about the menu to expect. After about 40 minutes!!!! My order number was then called (the fries and the burger were always on the counter and the drivers checked every now and then to see if they were still part of your order...). I insisted on new dishes and got a second one for free. After 1 hour I was home, everyone had eaten, our friend had already left and I warmed up my food in the microwave..... THANK YOU SO MUCH McDonalds for that "Great" end to a harmonious Sunday If I'm going to McDonald's then I'm now going to another city as a Marler!

So today I was at the drive in with my son. I ordered a Happy Meal and redeemed my reward (large fries). If you want to redeem your points there I really want gold...NOT! Because you don't get the bonus and the points are still deducted. When I asked why that was the case and you didn't get the fries, they said, "That's right, bye..." I stopped and wanted to know what that was about? I then got a small fry (600 reward points were deducted for a large fry!) and she said "There's what you want, bye!!!" But so cheeky and everything was cold and the cheeseburger in the Happy Meal looked like it had been served during an earthquake and thrown against the wall beforehand. It doesn't work at all. The woman also got the code from me specifically for the reward and she accepted it correctly and repeated it on the intercom. It's just a reminder in case something goes wrong with you and you don't get your rewards but the points are still gone .. that's great... and great. Not.

I don't feel like waiting for over an hour. If I had ordered pizza then I wouldn't have starved ☹️

I was few time there and I always wait ages to eat anything. And mcdrive. If infront of you wait two cars that mean you are 3rd and you will wait 30min

Waited 2 hours for an order even though the store was empty, a colleague who had been there shortly before told me while I was still waiting.

Once again we got cold food and waited over 30 minutes for the food when asked. My daughter was made to feel stupid. Sadly, we'd rather go somewhere else now

I ordered today at 9:50 p.m., quite late but orders are accepted until 10 p.m. I myself was just home from work. A very unfriendly and unmotivated delivery person came with the order and asked me why I was ordering so late. That doesn't work at all! If you don't want orders that late, you only have to accept orders at Lieferando until 9 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. This is a customer-facing job and if you don't have the ability to be nice (I would have understood if I had been unfriendly, but I wouldn't dream of being unfriendly to a delivery person unless he comes to me stupid) then maybe you should do another job. It's an absolute disgrace to treat customers like this, but unfortunately this is not an isolated case at this McDonald's. You should definitely avoid this branch.

2 cars in front of us...hardly any people in the store...waiting for what felt like an hour...just plain outrageous. The times before were the same... That was the last time here.

I don't know how this store can still run. Standing in front of the shop at 11:30 p.m. I was told that it was closed indoors. Then I had to go to the drive in, all well and good, only I stood there again for 30 minutes and my food was completely cold. Worst McDonald's in the Recklinghausen district! Very long waiting times regardless of the number of guests or length at McDrive. Inside it looks a bit like a warehouse due to the numerous Lieferando backpacks lying on the floor. Food at McDrive is often cold.

We just wanted to eat ice cream, the woman who was working on November 6th, 2024 was really grumpy and wanted to call the police because we were laughing??!! The next day we all have a terrible stomach ache because of the ice cream! It would be a case for the health department.

Once I was there and took my order, only the employee came back, this is definitely your elephant order... Very disrespectful employees that work there.

It feels like it takes 20 years to get your order. No matter whether you just order ice cream or a menu. A waiting time of 20 minutes is pre-programmed.

Our order was placed at the drive-thru. Unfortunately, like two customers before us, we had to wait a relatively long time; a burger was forgotten and another burger looked as if it had been taken on a rollercoaster ride. Unfortunately, not for the first time... Due to the manageable number of customers in the restaurant and drive-in, there was not a heavy rush. The service can therefore still be expanded.

We are now very satisfied, both with delivery (via Lieferando or Uber Eats) and with local pickup, although I would always pick up/order from the restaurant as it takes longer at McDrive. Eating on site is also relatively uncomfortable, as it is also very cold in the restaurant on cold days. Deliveries have always been quick and the food was warm and tasted good. We also usually pre-order via the app and pick it up at the restaurant.

So if you like cold and thrown away food, this is definitely the right place for you, as is the very bad, ignorant staff!

We were there at 12:10 a.m. today and wanted to go in. It was just the drive open, it was finally our turn at 12:49. The burgers and fries were cold and there were no napkins in the bag and some mayo was missing.. Naaaja

At 11:20 and the employees with short hair tell us no!!! You have to eat outside. And in Google it says Open until 12 p.m. Very antipathetic and it's not the first time that these employees are always antipathetic, and fries are given directly in the hand and not even on the tute.

Typical McDonalds. Burgers are good, as are fries. You can't go wrong with drinks. Ice cream tastes good too. It's a fast food shop, you shouldn't forget that. The employees are like 50/50. Some are super friendly, some you don't understand and some aren't really nice. Ambience is also ok. Unfortunately it's not the most modern, but we still enjoy going there again and again.

Food is prepared without gloves. Employees eat fries or nuggets while they prepare the order and of course do not wash their hands after mouth contact. Better go to another branch

Extremely long waiting times in the drive-in without any indication from the employee that you should wait a short time. There's just nothing - absolute silence. Why doesn't it work in other branches here?

The shop in Marl is not clean and the dirty Lieferando bags are also in the room where guests eat. I don't think that works at all.

So I gave up at McDrive after half an hour. Employees are characterized by slowness and incompetence.

Waited 30 minutes at McDrive for your turn and then you didn't even get the full order. Sorry guys, all orders inside were processed straight away and outside you wait and then you don't even get the entire order. You know stress at work. But that's under the sun. It's not possible to get something to eat on a Sunday in Marl. We had 3 cars in front of mc drive.. By the time we were able to place our order, the first 10 minutes... Then we had to wait another 12 minutes for food.. What happens when the store is full?! Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened... Never seen such a poorly run McDonald's... Other stores can do it too... Why not in Marl?!

Poorly organized regardless of whether it's a mc drive or at the counter Even after 5 years nothing has changed. Totally bad store. Mc drive is always open with only one window. Everything takes forever. Incredibly bad management. The fish always stinks at the head.

Unbelievable, what is going on? We stood and waited in Mc Drive for 55 minutes, there were "only" 3 cars in front of us. There wasn't a friendly word from the employee, the Cola cup was touched by the mouthpiece with the flat of his hand, and when the food was handed into the car there was only one "here" from the employee. The burgers were no longer properly in the paper. So I've never experienced anything like that. Never again.

Unfortunately there is no improvement in sight. The restaurant was pretty dirty. McDrive is actually not recommended because the order is usually like a surprise bag. Either something is missing or there are things in there that you didn't even order. The Mc in Haltern is way better

The drive-in, friendly, quick and competent staff, plus warm food! I was satisfied 👍.

Incredibly bad store. If someone wants something "quick" to eat, I would avoid this location. Every (full) high-end restaurant serves its customers faster than this Mcces. No matter how crowded it is, a waiting time of 30 - 40 minutes is standard here

Despite the MC Drive being empty, we had to wait about 10 minutes before the order could be accepted. Then I was sent to the second window to pay and was told to stand to the side and wait again (a good 10-15 minutes). The whole thing for 4 08/15 burgers, 1 happy meal and a wrap, the wrong wrap was even bagged. Ice cream was sold out for the Happy Meal. There's always something that goes wrong... We don't go there that often and I used to think that there were exceptions, but that doesn't seem to be the case after all... Was there for the last time today, I'd rather go to Haltern, Recklinghausen or Herten in the future.

The delivery service is very bad. 2 hours and I still haven't received my order. I cannot recommend it again

The food is certainly not bad, you just don't get it, after paying you are told that there will be a wait of over 15 minutes for a burger with only 4 people in the restaurant, and when you complain you are told that it hasn't been a fast food restaurant for a long time

So the fact that you have to wait more than 20 minutes for your food is more than just incompetent... You know that it gets full at peak times and then you need more staff... It's a shame that things are apparently doing very well financially... because that's how it will be probably never change anything in this store

It's crazy that something like this can be called fast food. Today on MC Drive with 3 cars in front of me waiting over 30 minutes. In the future, we'll probably go to Recklinghausen, with travel and waiting times probably even faster. Thumbs up

MC Drive!!! Are you kidding me... 33 minutes wait for a coffee and 2 burgers, with me there were 4 cars, 10 minutes pre-ordered online. Marl is a sh... catastrophe, 3 men at the pot of fries and chattering around... Start working, branch manager change something...

Unfortunately the food was cold several times and the drinks were warm. The waiting times are incredibly long, whether in MC Drive or in the restaurant, and it wasn't even particularly crowded. I've never had anything like this in any other McDonald's.

!!!!BEWARE VEGANS/VEGETARIANS!!!! Otherwise it always worked, unfortunately now for the second time in a row I got meat nuggets instead of plant-based. Luckily my friend tried it beforehand. I'm very very disappointed, a few months ago it always worked, of course a burger was missing or something like that but it was okay. Now for the second time there are no sauces for us, neither mayo/ketchup nor sweet and sour sauce. Forgot my friend's McRib last time. I enjoyed eating here every now and then, that won't happen next time, it's a real shame. I will submit supporting documents later.

Waited 20 minutes for a muffin and a wrap. Both cold. Not even an apology was asked. You can really only go here for the toilet. Luckily it's always clean.

Really great service from an employee who, when ordering at the table via the app, brought 2 different types of water to choose from because only one bottle was chilled. So he let me choose the variety. And because I had taken the non-chilled water, he came shortly afterwards with a cup with ice cubes in it, so I could then pour the warm water out of the bottle. Never seen such great service at a McDonald's!

MCDONALD'S was originally intended to be a FAST food store. But unfortunately that doesn't work in this McDonald's. Waiting more than 20 minutes for an order is possible in a café, but unfortunately not in a fast food restaurant. Rating as well as service.

Really a very long wait. This has nothing to do with fast food!! Burgers were cold and unfortunately the cola was warm. It's not worth eating here and not quickly anyway.

Snot shop 35 minutes for a Royal TS and 8 cheese nuggets. Staff totally overwhelmed, unfriendly, just complain to each other and also to the customers and throw the restaurant utensils around. The floor in front of the counter was extremely slippery because it was greasy. It's better not to go there anymore, but to Herten or Recklinghausen, for example. Then you'll still be finished faster, despite the longer journey.

Nice McDonald's that was recently remodeled. Nice staff and a McDonalds. We liked it and we like going there. Unfortunately it was very warm in the store 😔

First you have to stand in front of the intercom for a long time before you can even order even though there is no other vehicle in the MC Drive. Then there was no carbonation for the cola and as a replacement there was a warm bottle of cola, but the fries were cold. 🤦🏼‍♂️ The burger was rather thrown into the packaging and so lukewarm. CRAZINESS! Been there today (08/07/24). Waited in the drive for at least 20 minutes (there were 2 cars in front of me!). Of course my order was messed up - it's not the first time. There is no longer any sauce for the nuggets, the bigmac suddenly has a different bun, but you have a bigmac of 2 (see picture) & they don't even pack my chicken burger, but I was allowed to pay for it 😂. Thank you McDonalds, thank you for nothing! ☺️

They got two things wrong and they were very rude and they made us bring our food when we ordered for it to be delivered to us they also got many meals wrong yes I was today in the MicDonalds that it happened time 21:57 day second of August Please fix this

Customer friendliness often leaves something to be desired and long waiting times (sometimes 30 minutes+) are not uncommon at peak times. However, the quality of the food is similar to other branches.

I was in the store today, July 27th, 24, and wanted to try the Popcorn Cola and ordered a Mc Flurry. Just a normal order, right? Apparently not for the two women standing in front. They simply made fun of my order, even though I was standing at the front of them! Respect! Well, I also work in the catering industry and of course you make fun of something sometimes, but not when the person is not even 1m away and therefore within obvious hearing range. Furthermore, I'm sorry that I gave the ladies behind the counter the job of putting the Coke machine into operation at 4:30 p.m. I don't have high expectations from McDonald's and I was still disappointed.

Unfortunately the branch is getting old. Parking spot: Due to the unfavorable traffic routing, the parking space is blocked if there are more than 3 vehicles in the drive-in. The parking spaces near the entrance are constantly occupied by McD delivery vehicles or employees' private vehicles. Employees/Service: I can't tell whether it's due to excessive demands, lack of interest or simply a lack of staff. Unfortunately, you wait a long time for your food here. Everything seems to be very disorganized. The milkshake machine is regularly broken or in need of maintenance. Conclusion: If possible, I'll switch to another branch.

An absolute no-go, how long you stand here on MC Drive has been getting worse every month since Corona. Recommendation to everyone: it's better to go to Herten because you can get there and back home faster, including the travel time, than here in Marl. Absolute impudence, it has nothing to do with FAST FOOD anymore.

If you look at the other reviews you would think that a company should learn from them... none. Ordered something through Lieferando yesterday. And once again comments were simply ignored. So once again something wrong was delivered. This has probably happened 6 or 7 times now. The first few times it was delivered. The time before last, people got cheeky on the phone and blamed Lieferando. Now that's enough.

If you want to eat something here (especially Mc Drive), you should allow yourself enough time. It's best to take a day off straight away and have a few small snacks and something to drink with you while you wait. They are simply incredible here. When you finally get your order, you should eat it immediately. Getting the food home warm is almost impossible. Probably not even if you have an F1 racing car and exceptionally only see the StVO as a recommendation. Mc Liefer can only be recommended to a limited extent. I tried it, several times. The food usually arrived on time, but always cold. Will this be transported in refrigerators? I can only recommend the store to a limited extent. Mc breakfast is ok, there's nothing going on yet. At least most of the employees are friendly
