You drive 30 minutes because you ordered through the app, and then the restaurant is closed for renovations. How come the app doesn't show you that? McDonald's owes me and everyone else who drove for nothing money for the gas.

Here's a good review for once; I've never been disappointed here. Sure, sometimes something might be missing, and they'll replenish it. But I've never been treated badly here or received cold/bad burgers. Anyone complaining here has never actually encountered a bad McDonald's or Burger King. Just relax in that backwater town.

This place deserves zero stars. Some of the staff are unfriendly. You're sitting there with your children, waiting for your food. We're sitting at the other table across from you. An employee in uniform and two companions are there. After eating, something falls off a tray. The employee sees what someone else, who was apparently eating there privately with their companions, doesn't pick it up and kicks it away. That shows you what kind of work ethic or behavior they have. Awful. And this is from an employee! Adults/employees are also role models for their fellow customers and children. Unfortunately, society is like this these days. Orders are terrible; nothing in our orders has been correct for the last few weeks. Something is always missing, sometimes even several things. It's a shame, because our children and we as a family used to enjoy going there. But we'll be avoiding it from now on and won't be going back for a while.

Once again, we were disappointed. We ordered food using coupons at the drive-thru. The first problem was that we stood outside for almost 20 minutes before the food was finally brought out to the car. The next issue was that something was missing from the order: a Tessa Burger 🍔 and a Happy Meal. So we went inside with the food. We waited another 5 minutes, the bag was repacked, and we went back to the car. Again, the Tessa Burger and Happy Meal were missing (they were out of boxes for the Happy Meal). We went back inside. Then there was another argument because the order was still wrong or incomplete. However, the receipt showed that we were charged correctly. Eventually, I'd had enough, and we left without food—€40 down the drain, plus sad kids. One thing I know for sure: McDonald's will never see us again!

Once again, a complete disappointment... The order was incomplete again; this time a Big Mac was missing. I can't understand how this branch can survive. The monitors aren't working, the employees are helpless, overwhelmed, or just so unmotivated, and the manager runs around like Rumpelstiltskin, making absolutely no impression of professionalism. If it weren't the only branch in the Wesermarsch region—which I find completely incomprehensible—hardly anyone would order from Nordenham anymore. Oh, and if paramedics want to eat at your branch, wouldn't it make sense to serve them as quickly as possible? Instead, they stand there for what feels like forever waiting for their order. Paramedics should be back on the streets saving lives, but unfortunately, that's not an option for this branch. I received my large order before the paramedics, even though I arrived at McDonald's later. It's baffling to me that you don't face any pressure from the parent company for this service. Your company can't possibly be proud of this performance; it's simply embarrassing. The restrooms are best avoided... you'd have to be pretty tough to get in there... hygiene is completely out of the question. The branch manager and his employees should be ashamed of themselves.

Burgers are being forgotten more and more often, today a large burger and even a whole Happy Mail!!! Then you end up in the drive-thru McDonald's and have to let two cars in behind you. Because they had a smaller order and could drive straight on. A month ago I had to wait 30 minutes even though I was the only one in the drive-thru and had already pre-ordered online. Then two cars came along and were served first. The wait gets longer and longer even though the store isn't that busy and there are enough staff. The only excuse is always a portion of fries or ice cream. We won't be using the drive-thru anytime soon.

A new update on McDonald's in Nordenham. This simply shouldn't happen at such a large company. To everyone who eats there: Be sure to check your order immediately upon receipt, whether in the restaurant or at the drive-thru. After standing in front of McDonald's with our children and seeing that it was completely full, we drove through the drive-thru and ate in the OBI parking lot (next door). Our order wasn't complete, and the surprise for the kids, in their Happy Meals, wasn't there either. My BigTasty bacon was carelessly slapped together, and the sauce was sitting next to the burger in the shredded lettuce, which was also lying next to it. The patty was half outside the burger on the other side... On the positive side, the breading on the chicken nuggets was slightly crunchy. Since our day had been very long and we wanted to get home quickly, we didn't complain. We're also tired of ordering from the drive-thru, as something is almost always missing.

An unbelievable wait of over an hour in the drive-thru. The employees are under constant stress. Processes could be optimized to relieve the team's workload. Criticism seems to be unwelcome in this store; employees are simply concerned with somehow surviving the day. The store management clearly has a responsibility here. Only a satisfied team can deliver good results. It's a shame that this store stands out negatively in so many ways, from the sanitary facilities to completely overwhelmed employees to the unacceptable way it treats customers and employees. I went to McDonald's one weekend – unfortunately, the impression was very negative. There were a lot of customers, but clearly too few staff. The employees did their best, but they couldn't keep up. I waited over 30 minutes for my order, even though it was a simple one. The food was served almost cold – with no apology, completely indifferent. The dining room was dirty, there were leftovers from previous customers on the tables, and no one cleaned up. It was obvious that the team was understaffed and lacked proper organization. This kind of service on a weekend is simply unacceptable. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Today there was a very unpleasant situation in one of the McDonald's chain. Today, during my visit, the hall was busy, so I understood that I would have to wait a long time for my order. After half an hour of waiting, my friend asked the employee if everything was okay with the order, to which he replied that McDonald's Drive was the priority service. We agreed and after 1 hour and 20 minutes, the employee asked me again about my order and brought it in another 15 minutes. They did not bring me my milkshake and I politely asked them to bring it, which was done quickly. After trying the cola, I realized that this was not the cola I ordered. I did not do anything because I understood that people were tired at the end of the day. Then they brought me my order again (due to a mistake by the employees, which I refused). Having started to eat the salad, I realized that they did not put sauce on it either. I was already angry, went to the cashier and demandingly, but still in a polite tone, asked for my sauce. to which the worker brought it to me and defiantly threw it on the tray, after which he began to shout at the entire restaurant, proving that he was having a hard day, saying that I was shouting at him at the checkout, which is definitely not true (guys, check your cameras if you have really bad hearing) without being embarrassed that I had a one-year-old child sitting next to me. We called the manager, to which he said that everyone was having a hard day... I was publicly insulted, to which NOTHING was done to make amends. Shift 06/01/2025 at 19~21. We sat for 2!!! Hours to eat a simple order of salad, milkshake, nuggets and water!!!!!

I wanted to order something at the till but apparently it wasn't possible. I then went to the terminal, ordered and selected cash payment. Waited 25 minutes for the food and asked if something had gone wrong. Yes, I should have gone to the till to pay. At other McDonald's each order is simply prepared and you can pay when you are called. Not here. I waited another 25 minutes while other customers simply order at the till and receive their order after 5 minutes. I asked again and nobody had any idea what my order was. I waited another 10 minutes and then asked again in a friendly manner. The people behind the counter didn't understand anything, only a young guy was approachable who then casually prepared my order. A small milkshake and 3 chicken burgers. It took an hour. I was there on a motorbike and got caught in a storm so I ate my chicken burger with hardly any sauce on it in a parking lot further on under an awning. There are certainly some decent employees at this McDonald's, but the processes are abysmal, and the staff who have anything to say are simply abysmal. From now on, I'll only go here when I need to use the restroom, and even they can't get it back to normal. The worst experience I've ever had in a "restaurant" :-)

The staff was just rude. I didn't immediately see the tray cart that was at the entrance and put the tray on the counter. Which is usually received very positively in reputable restaurants. The DriveIn is a complete disaster. Processing customers at the drive-in takes forever compared to other branches. But you don't need to expect better quality for the long waiting time, quite the opposite. Some things are completely cold. In addition, I have to admit that I have had a mistake with every order so far. Either items are completely missing or the wrong things are put in the bag. Even if you only ordered one menu, sauces were missing and the wrong burger was included. Absolute impudence. The employee at the drive-in entered completely the wrong items when ordering. Instead of 2 ice cream with caramel sauce, there were almost 3 chocolate milk shakes. I then corrected the employee. The highlight was at the payment counter. He looked at me and closed the window. After I was completely ignored, I went to counter 2 "Output". There the other employee asked me to go back and pay at counter 1 to the employee who didn't understand anything and didn't want to collect anything. We wanted to have breakfast at McDonald's this morning to celebrate the day (my brother's confirmation), as there are hardly any other options for things to do due to the current situation and this was his restaurant of choice. So in a way it was our last McDonald's Coca-Cola (registered trademark) straw of hope. However, due to technical difficulties the shop was closed and the straw was taken away from us. The resulting hunger and madness even led my father to argue with the intercom. After making sure there wasn't a soul in the branch, we headed to another branch of the fast food chain to feed the crew. After walking for a while with my brother (not the one in the previous review) and my dog ​​at the pond across the street, we thought a McFrappé/milkshake would be just the thing. We took the journey and when we got there I treated myself not only to my frappe but also to the McDonald's Frisbee, which is currently available for collection points. My brother ordered a strawberry milkshake. Along with our drinks, we went to the Obi parking lot and sat on one of those hardware store shopping carts, played Digimon TCG for a while and enjoyed our purchase while my dog ​​chilled with us (with water and treats of course). Conclusion: Service was good. Milkshake was good. My psyche is still fucked up, but at least the frappe tasted good. 10/10 for this lovely afternoon!

Maybe it's due to personnel policy, but waiting times are often long and then something is missing - usually some sauce or everything is cold. You wouldn't expect particularly crispy fries here. I find it a bit unfortunate when the person in front of you takes 5 minutes to take his order, and the whole time my bag of burgers and fries is already waiting on the counter (without heating). I've experienced this several times. It also happens that I wait 10 minutes even though there are only two cars in front of me in McDrive. The McDonalds in the neighboring town (Bremerhaven) is much better. Update December 2024: Went there again after a long abstinence from McDonald’s. Ordered via app, picked up at DriveIn. Once again I was very annoyed. Not only was the additional sauce we ordered and paid for missing, but our HappyMeal didn't come with any toys or apple pieces. Unfortunately, the 0.4 liter Cola Zero that I ordered with my meal was also an iced tea. Since I was sent to the parking lot for a good 5 minutes, I only got a chance to check the order after leaving the McDonald's premises (we ate in the car in the neighboring parking lot). The fact that the food was cold about 2 minutes after receiving it just topped it all off. This was all really bad and I probably won't visit this restaurant again anytime soon. Addendum: After I emailed my experience to McD, they apologized and offered me reparation. I thought that was good.

Had dinner here today and everything was cold. Not just 1 product but everything I ordered was fries, nuggets, burgers. Burger was dry, cold, sticky. I often eat at McDonald's but what I got here today was terrible. It's a disgrace to serve something like that to a customer. Here I can see that this McDonald's branch does not adhere to the deadlines to serve customers warm to lukewarm food. Normally, after a certain period of time, the products that are already finished have to be replaced with new ones.
