McDonald's in Schleswig

As soon as the restaurant gets a little busier, the staff is hopelessly overwhelmed. Not only did I have to wait a full 25 minutes for my takeaway order, but they also forgot all the sauces and the Happy Meal booklet. For 70 euros, that's a truly awful service! And this wasn't the first time something was forgotten. Conclusion: If this McDonald's were to close, Schleswig would be no loss!

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at McDonald's in Schleswig today due to an employee who was too incompetent to do her job and canceled our order because we wanted to pay in cash. Never again!

Staff are often massively overwhelmed by their own systems. Promotions are frequently unknown. App orders work only 1 out of 5 times. Unfortunately, there are recurring problems with missing order parts. The food, etc., is average for McDonald's, so normally a 3-star experience, but that's not possible in this case.

It's a shame the plant-based burger has been discontinued. Vegetarian and vegan customers are now limited to plant-based nuggets or fries – a rather limited selection. Perhaps it's worth checking out Burger King, where their plant-based options are constantly expanding. It would be great if you offered more options for vegetarian and vegan customers in the future – that would send a really strong message!

We ate here earlier with two children. The seating is probably designed so that people only sit down for five minutes to eat. But the worst part was: it was sooooo cold! The children in their jackets were freezing. I, as a man, also found it very cold. That's why only two stars.

I've never been so cold in a restaurant before. It's an outrage for every guest. The ice cubes in the cola haven't gotten any smaller at all.

So far, everything here has always been delicious, and the employees have all been friendly. They've rarely forgotten something (at the McDrive), but that can happen to anyone. I'm very happy with this McDonald's, best regards.

The delivery service is a difficult issue. I've used it three times, and two-thirds of the deliveries weren't as ordered. Calling the store to request a redelivery hasn't been a problem so far, but the whole subsequent process is still very frustrating for everyone, and due to the high volume, we sometimes have to wait 30-60 minutes for redeliveries. It's a real shame, so we're no longer having them delivered.

Friendly and fast service. The burgers could have been a bit warmer. The fries were very good! Reusable cups! Very good concept. Extremely drafty from the air conditioning in some places.

This McDonald's was a surprise. The service was very friendly and courteous, everything was very clean, and the food was good. The fries and nuggets were crispy (I've had different experiences, unfortunately), the burger wasn't dry, and the milkshake was the best I've ever had at McDonald's. So, full marks from me. I didn't see the restroom, but I assume it was clean, too.

The restaurant was tidy and the tables were clean. The food was as expected from McDonald's. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were in perfect condition.

Typical McDonald's. The food always tastes the same. Prices vary depending on the store and country. The only thing I find inconvenient is ordering at the terminal. Unfortunately, you can't always order at the counter everywhere.

Staff are unable to ring a bell. I spent almost €50 for a delivery without receiving the goods. 😂 Pathetic. I called the store and they said the bell had been rung. A redelivery won't be made. It's a shame my doorbell system records everything. I paid via PayPal and opened a dispute. I'm curious to see if I'll get my money back.

Delicious food, good coffee, and the Happy Meal makes the little ones happy. Fast service and friendly staff – we'll be back!

As an exception, I was allowed to try the Japanese burger at the drive-thru, even though I ordered it with my e-bike. As always, it was a complete waste of money. Never again will I go to McDonald's, and especially not in Schleswig!!!

Very long wait yesterday, ordered takeaway food inside and waited at least half an hour.

I waited half an hour for a Sprite and now I'm here 2 hours later. The shop is completely empty and it takes more than 30 minutes.

The milkshake was runny, the McSundae came with the wrong sauce, and the McFlurry had the same amount of ice cream as the sundae. I'm not sure! It's getting worse and worse here!

Despite it being a Saturday night, we didn't have to wait long for our order. The drinks were cold, and the burgers were fresh and hot. Super friendly service, something we hadn't experienced at McDonald's in our town before. We highly recommend this location.

Something's always forgotten. Last time, the Happy Meal toys weren't wrapped. This time, I ordered three Happy Meals with different burgers at the drive-thru. I only received two. I had to drive there again. Very annoying and unnecessary. It's better to double and triple check or drive there several times. I received neither an apology nor compensation. I'll never order from there again. Very disappointing.

Clean. Top double cheeseburger and fish filet. Burger was fresh hot. Cappuccino was excellent. Perfect for a roadtrip pitstop. Super fast and service was very kind. Didn’t feel so much like a fast food restaurant.

Very clean, great staff, and everything went very quickly, so we could enjoy the food while it was still hot. But as a coffee junkie, I have to say it could be better. :-)

I simply don't have the time or the desire to check the order every time. The discount coupons are pointless if you don't get it anyway. Perhaps the employees should get some training at Burger King; it works great there.

Clean McDonald's with really hot food.

The branch in Schleswig is never really clean, but today the store was full of dirt. The tables stick and were only wiped after I asked for a rag. The meal took almost half an hour and the fries were ice cold. McDonald's is really underground now.

Accessibility is something else entirely. I rely on a walker, and there's no accessible restroom. Sad. The faucet doesn't work either.

Eigentlich war immer alles gut, doch heute hab ich mir dann wie immer ein Mc Flurry bestellt und der war schon KOMPLETT geschmolzen und schon umgerührt. Dann habe ich die Mitarbeiter drauf angesprochen und gefragt warum das so ist und die haben mir richtig unhöflich gesagt, dass die denn schon ungerührt haben und das normal ist das der so geschmolzen ist. Ich habe keinen neuen bekommen und die, die nach mir einen Mc flurry bestellt haben, haben ein ungerührten und vollen, nicht geschmolzen bekommen.

My cup wasn't even half full, and the ice cream had already thawed considerably. When I asked, an employee condescendingly explained to me that this was normal here and that I should just go and eat my ice cream. As proof, they presented me with a scale – supposedly it weighed 160g. That may be true, but when a cup looks like you've already eaten half of it, you feel like you've been ripped off as a customer. For just under €4, that's unacceptable. The other two McFlurrys were also thawed and significantly below what you should expect from an ice cream. Instead of understanding, I received only shrugs and dismissive gestures – no apologies, no goodwill. That's not how you treat customers. That was the last time for me. Value for money: poor. Service: abysmal.

I haven't been to MC in Schleswig in ages...it was an absolute mess... emphasis on was!!! It's nice and clean and tidy... the staff is also very friendly 👍🏻

Don't order online!!! Scam!! Ordered twice and items were always missing, and there's no refund or anything.

Upon request, the very friendly staff wiped the completely filthy tables. Despite the low number of visitors at the time of my visit, all the seating was dirty. The sanitary facilities smelled like the train station toilets in Schleswig, with urine scale in the waterless urinals and a strong odor. The disinfectant dispensers throughout the entire branch were empty. In the women's restroom, soap had been replaced with water during our visit, with no foam or cleaning effect. The fries were nice and crispy and hot. The burgers were more than carelessly slapped together...but delicious. The really friendly staff somewhat salvaged the overall impression.

MC Donalds Schleswig only gets 5 stars for the likeable blonde young man who sat at the Mc Drive counter! He spoke very clearly and had a sense of humor and was very friendly! You don't experience anything like that anymore, it's great that he was there! He made our day with his kindness! Thanks for that!

I didn't say vegetarian for no reason. I wanted 2 Egg McMuffins, I made sure that they entered it correctly and repeated it several times with only eggs and still received 2x with bacon. Thanks for nothing, I won't come back. I'm super mad.

It's unacceptable that they can't get an order the way the customer wants it... each of the last 4 times, half of the special side dishes or toppings ended up nowhere near my order..! And that in times when there was nothing going on with guests :(

So sorry, but if I order ice cream three times to get caramel and chocolate sauce on my McFlurry and still don't get it after the third time, then something is wrong. I love Mecces and I'm not one to complain, but if the ice cream costs €4, I can probably expect the third time that the ice cream I ordered will arrive correctly.

Lots of activity on a Sunday evening. It was clear to us that we wouldn't have our meals in 5 minutes, but we waited a whole 23 minutes for an ice cream, a burger and fries with a drink. The employee asked how long we had waited and showed him our order slip. We were a little hoping for a statement in the form of "sorry, hardly any staff"... Nothing, unfortunately. Fast food is faster. And it wasn't really hot either.

Among other things, I ordered a double chicken burger but got a double cheese instead, even though there was almost nothing going on. Apparently it hurts to throw the chicken patties on the grill.

Me, good buddy and my cousin went to MacDonalds once. My cousin bought Redbull. We ate normally, didn't do any shit, we were very loving, then an employee or boss didn't even introduce herself and asked if my cousin was old enough to get something like that. My cousin would be 16 in 2 months at this moment. Normally Redbull has no age restriction, the stores can decide for themselves when exactly they can pick it up. The employee/boss spoke to her as if she were her mother and said don't get anything like that. The food was good as always (if you like MC's. But it was bitterly cold, most of those who sat there and ate had their jackets on. Some corners and edges were dusty (not from 1-2 days!)

Staff totally unfriendly, some things we had ordered were missing. In the kitchen what you could see was totally dirty. It was totally dirty in the store and there was nothing going on. We are a family of 5 and 3 other customers. The tables were totally dirty and the floor was also totally dirty and sticky. Our 6 year old daughter wanted to go to the toilet. The women's toilet was full of feces, the floor, the toilets and even the walls. Yesterday I was at McDonald's and there was such incompetent behavior on the part of the employees where you can tie your shoes while walking around 5:15 p.m. Several customers constantly forgot something which I observed and so I also waited for 45 minutes and then that was it Food was also cold Complained and nothing was refunded and no offer to get something new. Then the citizens didn't pay as they should and complained and got a stupid answer after 45 minutes. Get a new citizen and eat something carelessly slapped together. I can only be glad that my daughter was patient but I told her that I would avoid this McDonald's in the future. I would rather go to Flensburg to Friedenshügel where they get TOP quality and very hot!!!

Ordered with table service. Nothing going on when loading and still too lazy to use it. After the food had unknowingly been left on the counter for collection for 10 minutes, the table number was called. Complaints that the food was no longer really warm and what was ordered with table service were not addressed.
