Long wait even though it was empty

Extremely poor service and completely unprofessional behavior. When I arrived at the drive-thru around 4:00 PM on November 15, 2025, I immediately noticed that the employee was inexperienced. He worked very slowly and made several mistakes entering my order. I was completely understanding and waited patiently. Instead, I was met with rudeness and aggression. The employee suddenly became irritable, and when the administrator arrived, he spoke in a loud and disrespectful tone, didn't let me finish speaking, and ultimately refused to accept my order. All of this cost me over 30 minutes – first at the drive-thru, then in the restaurant, where I had to wait again. And in the end, I still received my coffee without caramel, even though I had clearly ordered it. I left in a completely ruined mood. Such behavior is disrespectful, unacceptable, and severely damages the company's reputation. The entire incident should be clearly visible on the security cameras. Definitely the worst service I have ever experienced.

We often get from McDonald's drive-thru... we always check – sometimes something's missing or the sauces aren't right... but today everything was there!!! We still love it though...!!!

A normal, good, and modern McDonald's. But it's a shame that the employees seem to be having their own party with loud rap music. Musical taste is a matter of taste, as we all know, but this is a restaurant, not a party.

Very unfriendly, I ordered a burger, they put the wrong sauce on it and the salad was not fresh, I wanted to return the burger and then I was shouted at, they did not accept the burger, I cannot recommend this branch

I drove through the MC Drive-Thru and ordered with the app. Three people were at the checkout window, and when I got home, I was once again surprised. Again, no sauces.

I ordered a chocolate milkshake, but it tasted absolutely like strawberry. Okay, that can happen if the one I had just before was strawberry. I went back and got a new one without a word. It also tasted like strawberry. My husband also ordered another one, and what can I say? Definitely not chocolate. The burgers had been sitting for a while, and the floor was absolutely filthy.

Unfortunately, disappointing. The burgers were carelessly shoved into the packaging. Then, several things were missing from our order (6 nuggets, royal TS, potato wedges, sour cream). And you have to run after them twice to get your food. Furthermore, even though there weren't many customers in the building, it took a very long time. Conclusion: - Getting more and more expensive - Burgers are getting smaller and smaller - Burgers are anything but "presentable" - Food needs to be checked - Long wait included - Only vending machines

The food arrived quickly, and if you want mezzanine, you won't be disappointed. The staff is also very friendly. The employees danced to their (probably original) music. 5/5 stars and still amused.

It's admittedly very nice there and the service is excellent, but the food is typically too small and overpriced, plus the boards were broken, so ordering was confusing. I ordered on the order tablet and couldn't find any fries anywhere (I searched for ages and gave up). By the way, there was no vegetarian option either, except for the matcha latte (which was okay, by the way).

Super rude staff!!! Worst McDonald's I've ever visited. I ordered the Grimace Shake (I'd already tried it), but it didn't turn even slightly purple when stirred and tasted only of vanilla. When I mentioned this at the counter, they slapped me across the mouth and slapped a new one on the counter with the comment, "It's like this." When you stir it, it turns purple. It was funny when a rude employee demonstrated a new, smaller shake, and nothing turned purple. She responded, "I know how to deal with customers like you." When I told her that her behavior was completely inappropriate, she erupted into a fit of laughter, followed by the team behind the counter and the kitchen. I've never experienced anything like this!!!

Absolutely terrible store! A complaint about a defective product was met with an extremely rude and unprofessional response. I can only recommend anyone who is used to "decent" McDonald's food to avoid this store and travel a few more meters to visit the competition.

drive in service is a mess, used 3 times and every time it went wrong, missed items or partly wrong one's

I gave it another try after about a year and a half, but I wish I hadn't. I got Big Mac takeout, which smelled so bad I had to throw it away. As the previous reviewers have also written, there's almost no lettuce and everything that comes with a Big Mac isn't in it. Junk is junk!! TOO BAD ABOUT €11.79!! IF I'D THROWN THAT MONEY IN THE TRASH, IT WOULD HAVE MADE MORE SENSE!

Good standard McDonald’s, you can’t go wrong but you can’t expect more either.

A nice chip shop with comfortable seating, but the Ronald Gym Club is not wheelchair accessible, and I couldn't play with crutches.

Everything was super fast, and the outdoor lounge is particularly noteworthy. A truly great and enjoyable trip to MCS!

Although it was relatively busy, there was ample parking, and the food arrived promptly. The food was delivered to the table (as ordered from the vending machine). It was tidy (apart from a few napkins flying around outside). Outside, there was a playground for children and plenty of places to sit and relax. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the service was pleasant.

Every time I've ordered something from McDonald's, whether it was takeout or ordering there, something has always been missing or they've given me the wrong item. So far, it hasn't even happened that everything was correct. I think it's absolutely disgusting that you have to drive there or call again because they can't even manage to put together a complete and correct order for once!

It's busy, the food is delivered incorrectly, and the service staff barely have time. Almost everyone is rushing around.

Of course you don't expect much from a fast food restaurant but how blatantly ignorant do you have to be as an employee to substitute meat for plan based? It's been 3 times now that I've gotten chicken nuggets instead of plant based and today when I wanted to try the new mozzarella balsamic wrap - I simply replaced the mozzarella snackers with chicken, what's the point?

Absolutely terrible service. And very incompetent staff. Not a single order is processed correctly. You only ever receive half of the products you paid for and ordered. In addition, you often get obviously old and cold burgers. The salad is also often old and limp. This branch should be avoided.

I'm no longer shocked. It was the last time I went to eat at McDonald's in Neustadt am Rbge. I got cold food, after waiting 25 minutes I expected that the food was freshly made and would be hot. That wasn't the case. My fishMc was put together so wrong that everything was moved, just thrown in carelessly. You should be ashamed.

Ugh, I'm having a hard time with the rating. I was only there once and don't know if it was a snapshot or is always like that... The restaurant looked very badly damaged inside. There were a lot of tables like everywhere else, but there weren't any benches and there were no chairs, which made it difficult to sit together as a large group. This also greatly spoils the overall impression. The service is ok, I forgot part of the order, but upon request I received the rest of the order.

The self-appointed boss is extremely unfriendly. I was bullied because something wasn't working in the McDonald system. After I showed him that I was right, he sent me away like a little child.

Mac Donald in Neustadt am Rübenberge, on the occasion of the transfer of my motorhome, I was on the road for 2 days and visited 5 different MCDs and was actually so disappointed after the 4th that I wanted to say goodbye to MCD. But on the last part of my journey I stopped there and honestly people, great, really very good, food was hot, top, service very good, food was fast. A manager who was in the dining room and was involved, all in all , a big thank you

Loading dirt. I ordered a strawberry milkshake there and got a vanilla one with a dollop of strawberry syrup. I also ordered a chicken wrap without cheese, what was in it was really cheese, and it wasn't even packaged properly, it was just thrown in the bag. I can understand that there can be a lot going on and stress and stuff like that, but I still spent money unnecessarily on things that I didn't even get.

It's a shame, I ordered the MC Crispy Spicy menu at the MC Drive and unfortunately only noticed when I got home that the MC Crispy Spicy was missing... So we only had super expensive cola fries. :-(

Actually zero stars! Vegans beware! Ordered nine plant based nuggets, got 5 plant based and 4 correct ones. After a phone call with an employee, we should come personally to clarify the situation. But when the extremely unfriendly branch manager explained to us that it was McDonald's and that they stored everything in the same tray in the branch and also fried them in the hairdresser's eye, I was stunned. When I simply explained my point of view to her and told her that you can't put meat on a vegetarian's plate, she just became loud and unfriendly and wrote the beautiful statement, "This is McDonald's and I can't say anything more than sorry," Seriously let a vegetarian eat meat (unconsciously) and then be so bold. In addition, half of the orders are always missing, tables are always dirty and the floor is greasy. Absolute failure and impudence. Never again!

First paid by PayPal and then by card because it supposedly didn't work... Then double debit and no one gets in touch to process the process (beginning of October)!!! Most of the food was cold. And that wasn't the first time we got cold food.

It's incredible! After waiting for 20 minutes, even though there were maybe 5 people in the store, we got cold food. Well, not quite: half of our order. Forgetting a pack of fries is already standard practice in this high-quality establishment, but the fact that three employees look at the same receipt and the three of them miss the size of a drink, a pack of fries AND a pack of chicken nuggets is really the height! I can't fathom how you can do such bad work when you just have to complete a list! But maybe we are too stupid ourselves by visiting this restaurant again and again, even though one often suffers the same trauma from one visit!

Was there for the last time today. Too often orders at McDrive are not understood correctly and/or half of the order is missing from the bag. Bad service..

Very nice, clean, well-stocked McDonalds!!! The employees are consistently attentive and friendly... the blonde lady at the checkout and distribution!!! Super helpful and your eyes everywhere whether anyone else needs or is looking for something!!! Really fun coming out here!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a quick service restaurant it's pretty good.

Mostly clean and the food is usually warm. At the drive-in you have to check immediately whether everything is there. Something was forgotten a few times. I never got a replacement because it wasn't checked directly.

Every time you drive into Mc Drive you are sent to the parking lot, where you may have to wait 20 minutes for your food. The food, which is no longer fast food, is of course not complete in most cases. Either the drinks, fries or whole burgers are missing, of course you shouldn't forget the orders with special requests, pure catastrophe.!! When you ask the employees about the missing food, they sometimes look in the cars to see if we haven't hidden food somewhere and want to get a free burger. Are you crazy?! I don't even need to start with the napkins and the sauces, 80% of them are actually missing.

We arrived with three people just in time for breakfast (approx. 20 minutes) and placed the order at the terminal in the branch. After approx. It started after 5 minutes, various breakfast items were no longer available (e.g. mini pancakes) so a change was made, that's okay, it can happen, then it started every 2 minutes that you had to change the order because some things were no longer available is!!! You could also say that it can happen (even though my mood was already at its lowest point, I thought) Of course I'm a fox and asked for fries!!!! No, we can only offer in 3 minutes, was the answer. I didn't speak up, but I didn't know the answer either. A little woman who works there helped an employee (she asked him often) and we were able to order our fries!!!! A rogue who does evil thinks it's over now, NO, NO AND AGAIN NO We got into the car, my daughter opened the bag (didn't get what she wanted anyway) and got a croissant instead of a French roll, she put the bag back in, the man wanted to swap a croissant for a French roll, the little woman (always helpful and... friendly) probably poked the man in the ribs, so my daughter said she was allowed to keep both. We are now on the way home, the first thing we do is fries so that they don't get cold, I should have guessed it, not really cooked through, not really hot, not really salted. Screw it, I'm hungry, then to the MC farmers and whatever they're called, the order was also wrong. It was on October 8th, 2024, a Tuesday, my daughter had failed the theory test on her birthday. If she wanted to distract her a little, the distraction was successful, the day was over. Why do I have to drive into the parking lot and not be allowed to receive my food at the McDrive counter??? Such a stupid idea. The customer is then allowed to maneuver in the parking lot in the dark so that your times are correct? You don't notice anything anymore.

The food was generally okay, as is typical for McDonalds. Only the accuracy of order processing leaves something to be desired! For example, at the HappyMeal the salad we ordered was without cutlery, the children's toys were simply forgotten and instead of the hamburger there was a chicken burger with hot sauce. So it was completely unfortunate...! I can't really say whether we'll stop here again... Maybe they just had a bad day...?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Recently bought again at the happymeals order board. The smurfs were available. Later when we picked it up it was announced that the smurfs had been out of stock for a long time. Was very annoying. To the employees: Then this option is deactivated when ordering if the inventory is not physically available. !!!!!! Check your stocks beforehand!!!!

We got 2 McPlant Burgers at Mcdrive in the evening. Unfortunately there were no “vegetable patties” on the burgers but rather classic meat patties. On our route we drove to the nearest McDonalds in Hanover and there was the usual plant-based patty on the burger. We won't be coming back.

Visited with two people on July 31st. for a well-deserved evening, which was very friendly and competent.

Difficult to judge, since the introduction of the ordering machines, significantly longer waiting times have to be expected (sometimes 20-30 minutes). The service is often overwhelmed, orders are incorrect or are not handed over completely. Everything seems very chaotic since switching to on-demand preparation. Ambiance is modern as usual, like any other Meces, hygiene is sometimes good and sometimes bad at rush hour. Staff appear uncoordinated during core times, which leads to errors and waiting times. The drive-in feels overwhelmed every evening, so you have to wait in the parking lot, often for longer than 15 minutes. All in all, in my opinion, it doesn't have much to do with fast food if you have to wait forever so that your lunch break is sometimes over. Edit: Ordered today, to go, waited 20 minutes, non-carbonated cola, burger was missing. Not so soon!

Rude employee at MC Drive, if these employees don't feel like working and don't know how to deal with customers they should stay home, I don't understand what kind of bad management MC has currently.

An update. There's not much going on at McDonald's right now. The order has already been completed via the app in advance. Still doesn't bring any speed. “Fast food” here basically means “slow food”. On 9/10 visits you are sent to the normal parking lot in McDrive. Waiting time between 5-15 minutes. .. Unfortunately, the customers take 4 times as long and the great tracking chips are so accurate that the staff wander from table to table with the order to ask if you happen to be the recipient. In addition, the selected toy is not brought with me... I would have to point this out first only to find out that the selected one is no longer available. 2.(DriveIn). Waiting 20(!) minutes on the waiting area and then forgetting the nuggets and all the sauces. 3.(DriveIn) Of the last 10 times we were there, ten times there wasn't everything in the bags - you really have to check everything and it's not always just the ketchup etc... Today we were missing a BigMac and a RoyalTS... How difficult can it be to put a list from the monitor into a bag? Last but not least, put the fries so that they all slipped out. The McRib squashed and mushy...thank you very much! The next visits will only focus on what the children want!

I ordered at the drive-thru. Hassle-free, transparent ordering. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't rate the ambience. Was in my car.

A good McDonalds, the food was as expected, the store was clean, the staff friendly and the atmosphere...why did McD go from being a happy child to a depressed man in his mid-forties?

I noticed a few months ago that our McDonald's had dropped significantly. At first I thought it was a "slip". I was there three more times after that and I have to say that it gets unclean from time to time. The tables aren't washed, the floors are greasy and there are fries lying around everywhere. You really can't go there anymore.

The restaurant was absolutely great after it opened! But it has degraded massively over the years! Partly very unkempt and dirty! Tables always feel dirty! Some of the staff are not at all on their toes and sometimes even unfriendly! The vouchers are the only thing that keeps me going! Mc Drive, keep forgetting the napkins and mayo too! Went here again today, it's still dirty! In terms of cleanliness I would give minus stars!

That really doesn't work anymore. Recommendation for those picking up: take everything out on the counter and count it out. There is simply no other way.

Stop here regularly. Repeatedly simply excellent! Fries always fresh. Staff top and friendly!
