The management of this McDonald's takes its customers seriously. Therefore unfortunately only 5 stars instead of the deserved 6 stars. If there is a problem, the customer comes first and everything will be tried to ensure that you come out satisfied and full. Top store, top manager!

Waiting times are too long, unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. For two breakfast products 30 minutes waiting time...

I wanted to redeem a coupon with number 1 gets 2. It didn't work so an employee took my cell phone and then it supposedly worked. Then I paid and was a bit surprised at the high bill. When I received the receipt I paid twice... Then the unfriendly employee said, totally annoyed, that I should wait. Now after 10 minutes I asked angrily, then the employee came and just threw the change into my car and raised his hands and said next time you'll make it really clear??? I was scared and then drove away with my cold old food. Oh yes, there were hamburgers in the bag instead of cheeseburgers. Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home... I'll never go there again!! And especially alone as a woman!!

The last time we picked up the order, the chicken nuggets were missing. When I picked it up today, the chicken burger was delivered without any sauce and was therefore rather disgusting. It doesn't seem worth coming here anymore. Too bad.

McDonald's stands for fast food and you would think that you would receive your order within 5 minutes. That's why you go there and not to a restaurant when time is short and you can't wait. In this branch, orders are processed without any motivation and very slowly. Waiting times of 20 to 30 minutes are standard here. If you're lucky, the food is just warm (because parts of the order are "parked" on the counter until they are completed and get cold!), correct and complete. But these are usually just exceptions. I usually find defects when checking the output. Products that are no longer available will simply be replaced with others without consultation! You should avoid the branch and go to another restaurant with similar waiting times that are reasonable for a restaurant. There you get better quality food at a reasonable price, within a reasonable waiting time. Unfortunately you have to rate this with at least one star, which is still way too high.

In short. Despite the large number of customers, good and friendly service when ordering and everything that takes a while is brought to your table, and despite the long shift, with a smile on your face and a friendly: Your food, please! Again: the store was full!!! Cool, nice location By the way: I'm actually not a big fan of McDonald's. But it's very nice here

I loved this MC, people now work here who don't speak any German at all, and they can't help anyone if they need help. Really a shame for this location...

Once again you didn't get what you ordered!!!! You are FORCED to look in the bag before leaving the shed!!!! Once again the employees can't do it.... Order 2x fries, but get normal fries again!!!!! When you say something, the employees don't understand it because they hardly speak any German. And when they do, they get soggy!!! What's more, you now have to wait a good 30 minutes for the food to take away, the apple turnover is then cold and soggy... My money is too valuable for mush and cold, wrong food!

Unfortunately, I really don't like going here anymore. For example, every time you get the wrong order several times, a McFlurry that isn't even half full of ice cream, the sauces are regularly forgotten and the staff is not customer friendly either. I'd rather drive a few km further than come here :/

I have now waited over 45 minutes for my order. I asked seven (7) times. Finally, I just wanted my money back. This McDonald's branch wasn't packed. Arrival was 9:23 p.m. I left the branch at 10:39 p.m. Disgraceful...

The fact that you have to check every (!) damned time whether the “competent” employees are packing everything up is a bad joke.

Unfortunately we didn't eat there because last Sunday around 3 p.m. the processing time for orders was enormous. Others waited over 35 minutes for their food. Win no-go for a McD. Due to the large number of people, the hygiene in the toilets was no longer that great. Apparently this is a new McD. The optics were good.

Today's style is just sad... In addition, despite there being enough staff, it was totally unhygienic. The tables hadn't been wiped...leftover food was on the floor. When it came to the toilets, I felt like I was in a train station toilet. It smelled like urine and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days! There were even empty beer cans next to the toilet...no more paper to wipe...unimaginable condition...

Danger! Diarrhea & stomach cramps! My nephew picked me up at a party yesterday and we went to Mcdonalds, as is usual after drinking. I wanted to try the new "M". There were also cheeseburgers and nuggets. Today I felt really bad. Not the usual hangover, but severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. I thought maybe something was wrong at the party. Asked everyone, everyone is fine. Until I just remembered that we ate meces at night. My nephew just described the same symptoms to me. He woke up at 5 a.m. with stomach cramps and diarrhea. We both ate everything. He ate half of the M Burger, just like I ate cheeseburgers and nuggets. From 10:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. I was on the throne easily 15 times. And I have severe stomach cramps that bring sweat to my forehead. In the meantime Buscopan was brought to me. Tomorrow we're off to the doctor. Something must have gone terribly wrong here. Either expired products, lack of cold chain or unclean work. That was definitely my last visit here.

I would like to express my disappointment about my last visit to McDonald's. On August 17th, 2024 I wanted to redeem two vouchers in McDrive, both of which were valid for different products. I was able to redeem the first voucher that I had on my own cell phone without any problems. When I wanted to redeem the second voucher, which was on my friend's cell phone, the employee informed me that this was not possible because the vouchers came from two different cell phones. So far I understood this regulation. However, the employee pointed out that in order to use the second voucher, I should go for a ride and then return with my friend's cell phone. I explained that this wasn't an option for me since my girlfriend wasn't there and I would have to make a special trip home, which would make the first burger I bought go cold. For this reason I asked for the entire order to be canceled. However, the employee insisted that I should take away the burger I had already purchased and buy the second burger regularly without a voucher, which didn't make any sense to me. I had already made it clear that under these circumstances I wanted to cancel the order completely, but the discussion continued unnecessarily, which only added to my frustration. Eventually the order was canceled but I was upset with the way the situation was handled. This incident showed me that the service and customer focus at this McDonald's needs to be greatly improved. It would be desirable if staff were better trained to respond in a more customer-friendly and flexible manner in such cases, instead of leading to unnecessary discussions and making customers feel like they are being pushed into a corner. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, not up to the standards I'm used to from McDonald's. Best regards, Stathi

Everything was great, tables clean, quick preparation, delicious There is a star deduction for the climbing tower for children, small children could fall down in the 3 climbing levels. There is no safety there, so I had to go into the tower to avoid falling

After my experience there, I decided to leave a negative review. The first time I was so disappointed, I found a fly in my nuggets! As compensation we received 10 free nuggets, which I found reasonable and therefore didn't write a review. I decided to give the branch another chance and was unfortunately disappointed again... We were in McDrive and ordered our food, then received the WRONG order! When we pointed this out to the restaurant staff and wanted to return the wrong food, they waited a while. We were given the wrong food and told “We can’t make your order right now.” Wrong orders can happen but this customer service really needs to be improved.

I ordered 3 Mac smart menus and received the same WRONG order twice. I can understand that people get confused. Especially when things are busy. But if I say at the counter I would like 3.Mac smart menus, and then again because I received the wrong order, I expect the third time to receive the correct order that I paid for.

A good fast food restaurant with vegan and non-vegan burgers. OK for a quick, small hunger. What I think is a shame is that the vouchers purchased cannot be redeemed in other federal states.

I have never seen a nicer McDonald's. All clean. Toilets clean. People very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable to sit outside. Large games area. All in all very well done for a McDonalds. There are even flowers on the tables everywhere. We'd be happy to come back when we're nearby ❤️

Food cold early in the morning... We had two things returned even though we had to exchange everything... it tasted like the day before and that's what it looked like. Something is always missing. Either sauces or side dishes. I don't feel like checking everything every time or finding out at home that half of it is missing. If a complaint is made, an apology is made, but it is still annoying. Apparently not an isolated case according to the review. Quality control?

Anyone who wants to relax and unwind here with a great view is clearly wrong. The location is directly at a motorway junction. Peace is a foreign word here. Although there is a lake near the location, McDonald's does not offer guests luggage storage, making the trip to the lake difficult. The lighting of the iconic yellow M, the highlight of the visit, provided a great view. However, like the McDrive lighting, it was far too bright and was annoying all night long. Sleeping at night is a foreign concept here and respect between guests is also completely lacking. Guests regularly order burgers, fries, etc. around the clock. They don't care whether this disturbs others. The grass was full of slugs. Check out is at 5:45 a.m., which is very early, especially since breakfast doesn't start until 6 a.m. Sanitary facilities and staff friendliness were satisfactory. Food and especially breakfast can only be mentioned positively. All in all, the food is highly recommended, I wouldn't stay here again.

The cleanest and nicest McDonalds I have ever visited.

The outdoor playground is actually very nicely laid out. The children can play in the middle and the parents sit around them. But unfortunately this concept has not been thought through to its conclusion. There are ashtrays on every table. Childless smokers are sitting around everywhere and polluting the air. An absolutely disgusting atmosphere. Why not separate a children's playground and a smoking area so that the smokers are as far away as possible from the children who need protection. Anyone who supports this concept can also save the wall between the toilet and the kitchen.

We found it very good here, just a short distance from the motorway, so the actual holiday trip only had to be interrupted briefly and everyone was happy again without the stress of the usual rest areas on the motorway. Parking spaces and drive-ins here are only intended for cars, smaller mobile homes can at least park in their own parking space, but families with caravans can stop in front of the site. There are also parking options without height restrictions. The interior is quiet, clean and has plenty of space with many small seating areas. You put together the desired menu yourself on 4 high control terminals or select a familiar one, pay for the printout directly by card or in cash at the checkout and then receive your order after what feels like 5 minutes . I cannot say whether this terminal ordering regulation is also reasonable for customers with walking disabilities or whether there are other options.

Waiting time 1.5 hours! When I called and asked where my order was, the lady who answered the phone was vulgar and unpleasant and said it was my problem for waiting so long. I CANNOT RECOMMEND MC DONALD in Hilden!!!! !CATASTROPHE!!!!

If you like waiting, then yes. There are 2 drive-in ordering counters but they are only served by one person, so you stand for ages. When you then want to pay, you notice that the person who serves both counters is also cashing in and you wait again until he has processed another order. Then you have to go over to the right because the stuff isn't finished yet. Fast food is different. A whopping 15 minutes to get some burgers.

Food is just typically fast food. Service is almost zero!! Nowadays you are also forced to order from such a stupid machine (job killer)!! Sure...that saves at least 1 job. But I can't tell them my special requests (e.g. burger without onions please). Ambiance and service poor. Tables dirty and sticky even after cleaning with the cloth that is probably used to wipe other things - vomit....!! Tables are not wiped down/not quickly enough. At 58, I'm certainly one of the first people to ever experience McDonald's in Germany. But what is offered today in terms of taste, service and cleanliness is no longer possible. I'd rather go to a chip shop and eat a burger. Mäckes has become really bad. School grade 5. Only for kids. Very unfortunate.

Sunday around 10:00 a.m. for the new breakfast because the Mettmann branch wasn't able to sell anything. You come in, tables dirty and full of trash. Order via terminal, paper empty, no receipt. Only 1 employee distributes the finished orders in a bored manner. After waiting 20 minutes for our order, I realized that there was nothing to stir EVERYWHERE. EVERY table went to the front again. laughter and laughter from the kitchen area but nothing to eat comes... Our order was forgotten to be brought to the table and therefore the food was cold. There are extra heat lamps there but they are 1 meter away. CONCLUSION: NEVER AGAIN McDonalds Hilden, generally never breakfast at McDonalds again

It is a renovated (new) McDonald’s so the facilities are really nice. But the service was terrible, to say the least. The staff was completely lost and efficient and the cafe became crowded really fast. We have been waiting for our order (2 items) for !30 minutes - that’s a really unpleasant record🥴

This is the BEST quality McDonals in this country. I usually get cold french fries and cold or frozen bum at the german mcdonals. This place never disappoints me, B.E.S.T

Didn't receive a CocaCola glass with the McMenu? 2x in a row. Coincidence? Hardly likely. McDrive at rush hour and with a crying child in the car. I didn't check the supposedly complete bag right away. Just home and straight back to the McDrive. No glass again! Different lady this time. She looks blankly at the monitor. No glass shown! The shift manager (dark hair, parting) accuses me of being disrespectful after a friendly description and a subsequent request for the glass from the first order. I have been a customer for many years and was about to call the police.

The store is an absolute rip off. I ordered a cheese egg wrap tomorrow, 3.99, it had 2 crumbs of egg on it, a bit of cheese, otherwise just salad. I went in and showed this, the boss was brought in and he didn't give me anything cold in front of this open thing, that's the new standard. Sorry, but anyone who voluntarily shows such audacity has only themselves to blame. We will never visit again.

Beautifully renovated McDonald’s. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good and it took a surprisingly long time

Once again we were disappointed by the Hildener MC Donalds. I rarely go to Hildener anyway, but since I live in Hilden it just makes sense sometimes. This time a fries were missing. Whenever I order in Hilden, something is missing.

For me, McDonalds is always just for drinking coffee on a bike ride. I can't rate the food because I follow my own catering concept on tour.

I get here and it smells burning outside. People come towards me from the building without food and you can see that they haven't eaten there either. Twice I was advised not to eat there within 30m. I went in anyway. But the external impression was unfortunately confirmed.

We ordered 2 Happy Meals and 2 savings menus via drive-thru (without any major special requests), but the following were missing: 2x toys, 2x sauces, 1x drink, 2x fruit nonsense, some were missing from a Chicken Mc Nugget package... Conclusion: catastrophe! How much can you actually forget? I won't do that again...

I now remember why I haven't gone to McDonald's for years. Food lukewarm to cold, hastily topped with an absolute minimum of ingredients and more expensive than eating in a restaurant.

Not only are the orders of 10 by 8 not complete, no, half of the last order was missing. When I complained about it, an employee portrayed me as a fraud because I had taken the items out of the bag. That doesn't work, it doesn't work at all! But things are going catastrophically at this location anyway. I will never order anything there again, neither via delivery service nor on site. Delivery 2.5 hours, great performance 👍🏼. Unfortunately 0 stars are not possible.

Child-friendly is different. There was a great climbing castle inside, my son loved playing there, but now it had to be replaced by more dining areas. So there is only the slide outside, which is of course closed in the cold months. McDonald won't make any more money from us.

We were only in the drive for a short time. Everything was on schedule! Didn't have to wait long.

Meat cold, fries soft and lukewarm. It would be good if McDonalds was like it was back then and you could pick up directly from the counter.
