McDonald's in Köthen (Anhalt)

I've lost count of how many times my order has been given out incorrectly at the drive-thru. And it doesn't matter if the place is busy or not. I want what I paid for. Checking is all well and good, but cheese snacks look a lot like nuggets at first glance. Unfortunately, they were nuggets... not what I wanted... and then having to point out to the absolutely gleeful staff that I should have received a surprise with the Happy Metal, it really takes the fun out of going to McDonald's.

I mistook my PB nuggets for meat nuggets… and the PB burger isn't even available anymore! THANKS!

I can only say the staff were very friendly, the food was hot and delicious. The restaurant itself was clean...we had a great time....

Even one star is too many. The staff are completely incompetent and barely speak German, so you have to communicate with your hands and feet! We had to go to the front at least three times because they couldn't get our order right, and then they rolled their eyes at us - that's completely unacceptable! You pay so much money!

A branch without accessible restrooms and without automatic doors has long been outdated. The door is the first obstacle for someone with a leg amputation and crutches, and the regular restrooms are unusable due to the narrow space. The employee I spoke to couldn't understand my German. H. Völksch

We waited about 15 minutes for our order. Our order sat on the counter for a while and was ignored by the staff. We were asked if we had ordered anything, which we confirmed. The food was, of course, cold by then. Never again from this restaurant.

Beautifully clean and no long waiting time. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice McDonald's. If the opportunity arises and we're nearby, we'll gladly stop by. There's plenty of seating inside or outside.

During my visit, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, which I like. The tables and seating were clean, and the food I ordered was brought to my table promptly.

What a mess... You wait over 15 minutes and don't get a "good evening" or "we're sorry for the wait," nor "bon appetit"... You better train your idiots if they can't speak proper German!!!

The staff are very friendly and constantly busy keeping the tables clean and the tray carts up to date. The restrooms are also very clean. This is a well-maintained fast-food restaurant that other restaurants and their operators could learn a thing or two from :-)

Very friendly staff For the first time ever, a staff member went from table to table and asked if everything was OK.

We were passing through here. I quickly filled up at the charging station and snacked on coffee and apple pie at MCs. Everything was served cleanly and quickly. 😀👍

The food is usually cold and poorly prepared. Except at McCafe, the wait seems like an eternity. The restrooms are disgusting. Service at nearby branches is significantly better.

I ordered takeout earlier. When I unpacked the food I ordered at home, I noticed that four items were missing, which was basically half the order. But I paid for everything. What a disgrace.

A big compliment to the team. Despite the high demand, orders arrived very quickly and correctly. You could hear that the communication between the employees was good, ensuring all orders were processed quickly and accurately. Furthermore, the tables were constantly being cleaned. The floor was also cleaned during my visit. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfectly chilled. Clean restrooms, hand soap, and paper towels were provided. Free parking is available.

In with shoes, out without shoes... The floor and table were so sticky that I lost my shoes without even noticing... Legend has it that they are still stuck under the table today... Jokes aside, please take another look to see if anything is dirty.

The food was okey but they forgot to give us three of our burgers

We drove up from the swimming pool last week. After a short wait, we ordered at the counter (McDrive) using our order code. We got the food pretty quickly. Then we drove off and found a place to eat. While unpacking, we noticed that "Der M" was missing from the "Der M" menu. That simply shouldn't happen and was totally annoying. So... we looked in the bags and checked to see if everything was there!

Things have gone downhill quite a bit here. First the wrong toy, then the wrong burger, and the whipped cream on our drinks was also missing. And that wasn't the first time it's happened.

For the second time, the episode "Forgetting the Hamburger" is a reason not to go again.

If there were zero stars, this would be the first place I'd give it... I've never experienced anything like this before. First you don't get enough, then you get filthy food or nothing fresh... the health department should take a look at this!!! How can you sell burgers with the lettuce already brown and the cardboard completely soggy? So, for me, this shop is no longer worth a visit, and if I get the chance to bring this to the department's attention, I will!!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

We were at McDrive earlier...shocked when we got home...the kids' menu was missing Capri Sun, squeezable fruit, and ketchup; the adults' menu was missing the sauces for the potato rings...of course, no one was reachable by phone. Thumbs up, that's how this company is run. Considering we're from out of town...absolutely top notch.

Cappuccino at McCafé comes from a fully automatic machine. When asked, it was also confirmed that it is always prepared this way, regardless of whether it is in Togo or in the suburbs. It was disgusting and couldn't be drunk.

I travel a lot and therefore visit a lot of McDonald's! Therefore I can say that in my opinion the MC Donalds in Köthen is one of the best! Mostly very friendly staff who are also very helpful and attentive! Cleanliness and hygiene are also not foreign words here! It also seems to me that everything here is pretty well structured... mostly smooth processes! A lot of effort is also put into the ambience....the bottom line is that we can only recommend this McDonald's branch!

I eat there often. Like it there and in my opinion it is recommended!

A real treat today: two ice cream sundaes at McDonald’s Köthen – for an impressive 4 euros. I was expecting a sweet refreshment, but I received two cups with the equivalent of “just one tasting spoon please”. The sauce was so sparingly dosed that you could almost believe it had evaporated on the way to the cup. Chocolate and caramel? More like “Sweden puzzles for advanced users” – you have to search. Price-performance? An impudence. For that money you get a whole liter of ice cream AND a guilty conscience at the discounter. All that remains here is a guilty conscience. Conclusion: If you're in the mood for frustration, this is the place for you.

Well, McDonald's, nothing special. Food is not mine. Some new thing with crunch. Very dry and no sauce or anything between the bottom buns and the slice of meat. I don't know if it has to be that way, it's really bad for the cost. Not again. I had something to drink with coffee or something, way too sweet. No coffee taste present.

We were asked if everything was ok, like in the restaurant. Of course they were the best fries ever!!!

The cola tasted very strange. Fast food chains are known to add water to their drinks, but I haven't had such a terrible cola in a long time. If you order coke, you should get coke and not water. Somehow the drink also had a bitter taste.

Everything is too impersonal. Unfriendly and the worst. Everything is prepared without gloves.

We stopped there for breakfast while passing through. Since we wanted to move on quickly, breakfast was taken away. Unfortunately, the employees seemed to be completely overwhelmed at the time, but they didn't let themselves be disturbed and did everything slowly. For an order of three pieces, this order shouldn't take half an hour. We had to wait half an hour for the things - the number was no longer on the screen and by the time we got the food, breakfast was over and the other people could already order lunch. Another thing to note is that unfortunately the food wasn't even really warm anymore. If we are on the way to Dessau we will not stop again. Too much time wasted for nothing and there wasn't even an apology for the long wait and still annoyed faces.

Everything was perfect, clean restaurant, fast service and a friendly team - our food was even brought out even though I had chosen to pick it up. The man at the counter noticed that I had to take care of the dog. However, there was little going on at that moment, so there was enough time. I've just read some other reviews and these things may happen. My order was also on the board as ready for pickup within seconds, but there was immediately a friendly apology for the oversight and a request for patience. It then took less than 5 minutes until the order was ready. I had the impression that the rush here fluctuates very quickly, so I was standing alone at the ordering terminal (at lunchtime!), two minutes later I was surrounded by people, then it became quieter again. With such drastic ups and downs, even during typical peak times, it is logistically difficult to always deliver the same performance. Maybe the team isn't in tune yet, I don't know. In any case, the team was really friendly - compared to the usual level of McDonald's that I sometimes experience in North Rhine-Westphalia.

A place where the manager denies that I've been waiting for longer than 15 minutes, the guy at the drinks bar throws one drink after the other and no longer knows where to put it, a guy who stands next to him and has been watching his colleagues for 15 minutes, completely overwhelmed prevails and orders are already ready for pickup even though they are far from being ready. I wanted to deduct a star at first, but for this satire that I was able to experience that day, I give it 5 out of 5 stars 🤣

As a Köthen resident, you of course know the local Mces. What can you say? Half of every second order is missing, sometimes the staff is completely overwhelmed, you sometimes wait 15 minutes. For your order and then you mention it all to the shift manager, you get a stupidly bold "But I don't think you've been waiting 15 minutes! ". Employees who randomly stand in the corner and just watch it all happen, employees who stand there like zombies and sling drinks out on the assembly line without even knowing who the drink is for. On the bright side, this store is perfect if you're looking for your daily dose of satire. The dreary interior and the unfriendly shift management are also impressive. The order can be conveniently placed using a touchpad - this also works until you want to pick up the order. But never make the mistake of actually wanting to take your stuff with you... then chaos breaks out among the workforce. All in all 4 stars - 1 star deducted because my last order was actually complete. You have to know.

I would love to give 0 stars and ask for my money back...opened the bag at home, just forgot to pack MC rib and MC chicken...I can't recommend the juice shop, the "professionals" who work there now seem to like to screw people over, not for the sake of it happened there for the first time...

We stopped here on the way back from our vacation on the North Sea. The first thing we wanted to do was go to the toilet. However, there is no suitable toilet here for people with disabilities. So we went back into the car without anything to eat or drink.

It took a long time but now I'm writing something. To put it simply: make sure everyone has everything there. Almost every time, either the sauces for the nuggets are missing, children's toys are forgotten, etc. The last few times I kept going back and had to explain everything until they got the replacement. In most cases, I don't see myself turning all the way around every time and ultimately eating it cold. It's now disgraceful how often something is missing. Example: 1 Happy Meal and 2 Mc Menus with nuggets from the voucher. We got ketchup 3 times as sauces. Neither the two 6 nuggets had the corresponding sauce and neither did the Curlys. I'd rather avoid going to the store altogether in the future instead of finding out every time I get home that something is missing. I don't even want to mention the delivery service via Lieferando.

I was passing through and was hungry. Except for the lack of napkins, everything was fine. In Köthen I didn't get enough napkins for three people and it took quite a long time, even though only one person went out in front of me with a small bag. A little speed would be nice.

Unfortunately, today again proof of the slowest "fast food restaurant" in the world. 20 minutes waiting time in the almost empty restaurant with a small breakfast menu. The meal was complete today.

Employees are shouted at in front of the assembled team, terrible shift leader. The young lady had forgotten to hang fries or in her eyes she always just takes them. Unfortunately, that wasn't the first time there, and the tone wasn't nice. We waited 20 minutes for a happy meal and a menu. Dirty tables and floors, toilets looked the same. I was at McDonald's for 10 years and I can say there is another way. Curly fries and fries are often cold. The children's play table has been broken for ages.

If anyone has it...we're never there. Never had it in Köthen where our order was complete... Yesterday we even forgot the toy in the Happy Meal. What a disappointment. A place full of startled people... behind the counter... But the food is fresh and tasty when it's complete NOW there aren't even straws anymore.....not even made of paper....for our kids that was a ZERO NUMBER.... We'd rather go to Burger King now. Or would you rather have a real restaurant...because the prices for everything else are still cheap.

I ordered 5 cakes, waited half an hour each, they forgot to bring one, showed the check and waited another 15 minutes, the employees were not busy with anything until I came for the third time, they would not have given. It's not the first time, there weren't that many people who forgot half of my order!!!
