McDonald's in Saalfeld/Saale

Tische sehr dreckig, Burger abgestanden, Fleisch zäh bis gummiartig, Salatblätter Braun und völlig durchgeweicht. Im großen und ganzen haben wir als Familie beschlossen. MC Donnalds deutschlandweit zu meiden. Ich empfehle sich mal an den Geschäftspartnern in den Niederlanden zu orientieren. Dort schmeckt es nämlich und ist sein Geld wert.

Lange Wartezeit ca 10 min auf 2 Cheeseburger, Pommes und Cola.

Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Man sollte doch schon hin und wieder mal die Tische mit einen NASSEN Lappen abwischen. Männer WC...Seife alle und Handtrockner defekt. Allgemein sind die Toiletten grenzwertig. Personal ist ganz okay. Aber mal eine ernstgemeinte Frage...Wieso gibt es keine Strohhalme?? Milchshake und co ohne trinken 🫣 ???? Servietten gibt es wohl auch nur auf Zuteilung

Typischer MC. Kann über nichts meckern. Alle freundlich und Essen immer OK.

Die Vorgesetzten sollten die Kundenbehandlung verbessern und natürlich auch gute Dienstleistungen erbringen, da der Ort etwas zufriedenstellend ist Manchmal ist das Essen gut und manche nicht.

Am besten null sterne frechheit ! Wir warten seit eine stunde nummer 213 und nummer 159 heute am 02.07.2026 !

Macht den Laden zu. Die Angestellten haben entweder kein Bock oder sind der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig. Hygiene ist nicht vorhanden und das Essen wird immer schlechter.

Saalfeld kannst vergessen…… es hat mit den grundsätzlichen Regeln von MC Donald nix mehr zu tun ….. Essen kalt, schlecht verpackt, miserabel zubereitet und und und einfach nur noch gottlos schlecht !!!!!

Besuch am 23.06.26 um ca. 17:56 Uhr im McDrive: Der Service durch einen Mitarbeiter am McDrive-Bestellpunkt war deutlich unfreundlich und respektlos im Ton. Die Abwicklung wirkte dadurch chaotisch und unkoordiniert. Am ersten Fenster wurde lediglich kurz mit der Quittung gewunken, sie anschließend wieder eingezogen und musste am zweiten Fenster erneut angefordert werden. Insgesamt eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung – so etwas habe ich bisher nicht erlebt und möchte ich so nicht wieder haben.

Ich empfehle euch nach Jena zu gehen anstatt hierher. Nurnoch Ausländer die kein Deutsch verstehen. Das Essen wird nicht frisch vorbereitet und man bekommt lauwarme Burger und sonstiges.

Ein Doppelpack-Menü kostet in dieser Filiale mittlerweile 15,99 €. Das wollen wir nicht länger zahlen. In letzter Zeit finden wir die Preise dort insgesamt immer unverhältnismäßiger. Wir sind ohne Bestellung gegangen.

Wir hatten echt nicht viel ( Happy Meal, McRib und 2 Getränke) und davon wurde 1 Getränk vergessen und es war echt nicht viel los. Schon traurig 😔

Wir gehen regelmäßig zu mc Donalds. Aber dieses Mal fand ich die Bedienung so unfreundlich. Hab das neue Getränk bestellt mc fizzer , dieser wurde mir in einem becher gereicht wo oben eine Kuppel drauf ist mit Loch in der mitte , unmöglich daraus zu trinken . Auf Nachfrage ob ich einen Strohhalm bekommen könnte ,kam in unfreundlichen Ton. Nein zu diesen Getränken gäbe es sowieso keine und sie hätten auch kaum noch welche da . Also erstens nicht mein Problem wenn die Bestellung dort nicht funktioniert und die Materialien nicht vorrätig sind und zweitens dann mach halt den richtigen Deckel auf das Getränk. Für den Preis kann man das auch einfach erwarten. Hab dann mein Getränk zu Hause trinken können , 17 km weiter.....

Also sowas habe ich bei Mcs noch nie erlebt. Ein absolut unorganisierter Haufen! Auf das Essen wartet man ewig.

Das Essen war gut und der Service ebenfalls freundlich. Besonders schön finde ich, dass es für die Kinder immer Ballons gibt – das überbrückt die Wartezeit echt super. Allerdings musste man teilweise ziemlich lange auf das Essen warten. Insgesamt trotzdem ein guter Besuch.

To Go leider nicht zu empfehlen, ständig fehlt etwas oder es wird falsches Essen eingepackt. Zutaten auf den Bürgern muss man suchen.

Wir hatten heute eine Bestellung zum mitnehmen und es wurde zum wiederholten mal was vergessen mitzugeben. Dieses Mal gab es bei unseren Kindern dicke Tränen. Die Mitarbeiter waren trotz das nicht viel los war, total überfordert. Das war das letzte mal das wir hier essen waren.

Über die Jahre hinweg hat sich MC Donalds ja ziemlich zum positiven gewandelt. Das ist dort aber kaum spürbar. Bei jeden Besuch fehlt irgendwas in der Bestellung. Auch bei einer relativ leeren Filiale. Ich weiß nicht wie sowas in der Systemgastronomie überhaupt möglich ist. Wenn ich aber dann sehe wie lieblos die Burger in die Verpackungen "geworfen" werden, brauche ich mich gar nicht zu wundern!

Sehr enttäuschend, gerade wenn sich das Kind auf dem Besuch freut. Die Hälfte der Bestellung hat gefehlt. (Wir waren am Drive), sehr lange Wartezeiten, unfreundliches Personal zum Teil. Muss man nicht haben.

Wir waren Heute mal bei mc Donalds und Heute ist uns wieder aufgefallen das bei den Bestellungen immer was fehlt. Die Toilette ist der Horror.

Ich liebe das Essen dort ja! Vorallem der Hamburger Royal TS aber ist das mit denn Zwiebeln ein Witz? Also das ist ein Cheeseburger lass die Zwiebel doch gleich weg also wirklich? Und dann jedes Mal muss man euch nach schauen das es vollzählig ist die Bestellung! Jedes Mal schauen ob es auch ein doubele Cheeseburger oder was ist und nicht nur die Verpackung. Oder was auch immer und die Leute die arbeiten können alle kein Deutsch dann sollten die sich wenigstens die Nummer richtig rufen können oder euer Fernsehen mal anschalten Aber das nach geschaute ob ihr euren Job macht nervt kann ich mich dort auch selber hinstellen. Nach einem langen Arbeitstag‘ in der Pflege! Aber abgesehen davon schmeckt es immer! Und Hürtengaudi Soße könnt ihr auch mal wieder bringen liebe Grüße sonst schmeckt es immer!

Ganz normaler McDonald’s, insgesamt sauber und ordentlich. Auch die Toiletten und das Restaurant selbst waren sauber. Auf den Tischen lagen vereinzelt ein paar Krümel, aber das war völlig im Rahmen. Die Wartezeit war kurz, vielleicht ungefähr fünf Minuten, wenn überhaupt. Das Essen hat ganz normal gut geschmeckt, es hat nichts gefehlt und es war nichts falsch belegt. Insgesamt also ein guter, typischer McDonald’s ohne negative Auffälligkeiten.

Ich bin absolut entsetzt. Ich habe noch nie 22 Minuten auf mein Essen warten müssen. Ich bin ein sehr geduldiger Menschen, aber wenn dann noch das falsche essen in der Tüte ist bzw Dinge fehlen, platzt mir der Hut. Und der Mitarbeiter noch diskutiert und mir unterstellt ich hätte das nicht bestellt, obwohl es auf der Rechnung stand. Das war das letzte Mal das ich da hin fahre

Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, der Service war aus meiner Sicht super freundlich und mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht, was man nicht oft sieht.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht das der Franchisenehmer noch schlechter seien kann als der vorherige. Leider ist es aber der Fall. Wochenende mit bis zu 30min Wartezeit und kalten Bürgern. Dreckig und Runtergerockt. Keinen Besuch mehr wert.

War hier um eine Bestellung abholen wo ich Zuhause war Stellten wir fest das einen ganzes Menü fehlte die Pommes das lasse ich mir ja noch gefallen aber einen große nagges Box das war der Hammer mein Kind war sehr enttäuscht deshalb habe ich auch den Kundendienst über den Vorfall informiert sowas geht gar nicht die Arbeiter waren auch total überfordert ich kann diesen mac Donald leider nicht weiterempfehlen

MCs ist sehr oft sehr überfüllt. Essen kommt schnell aber oft nur lauwarm. Da finde ich den Ilmenau 1000 Mal besser

Aktuell sind die Wartezeiten Recht lang, auch wenn wenig Besuch da ist. Die Pommes waren kalt, in der Cola waren Eiswürfel, obwohl extra ohne Eiswürfel bestellt wurde. Die Tische und Sitzgelegenheiten waren nicht sauber, selbst an den Wänden hing eingetrockneter Ketchup und Majo. Eine Bedingung sticht immer heraus, sehr laut, arrogant.

War heute Nachmittag dort um etwas zu Essen ,nach meiner Bestellung habe ich 20 min gewartet auf mein Essen als ich es bekommen habe, war der Bürger nur noch Lauwarm dies sagte ich dem Servicepesonal und nach etwas murren ihrer seit´s nahm sie diesen zurück und sagte das ich einen neuen Bürger bekommen würd, nach nochmaligen 20 min Warten (immer noch kein Bürger bekommen) begab ich mich an den Tresen und verlangte den Filialeiter mit diesem Sprach ich und Teilte diesem die Missstände mit das ich 2x 20 min auf das Essen warte und ich bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt immer noch keinen Bürger habe, darauf hin wollte der Filialeiter mir wieder eine Bürger aus der Auslage geben (der aber wieder nur Lauwarm war) diesen ich aber verweigerte und ich den Filialeiter darauf hin wies das es kein zustand ist das man in einem Schnellrestaurant so lange auf sein Essen warten müsse und es im Restaurant sehr Kalt ist und meines erachten das Servicepesonal vollkommen überfordert sei. Für mich Persönlich hat jeglicher Besuch im McDonald Saalfeld erledigt!!

Ich kam heute ausversehen in den Genuss von plant based Nuggets, da ich leider nicht richtig gelesen habe. Da der Fehler passiert war habe ich ein probiert und so wie ich rein biss, löste sich die Panade von dieser nicht fleischigen Substanz die sich nicht zerkauen lies. Sondern nur die Panade und im gleichen Moment kam ein strenger Geruch in die Nase geschoßen der mich sofort dazu verlieh diese Chemische Köstlichkeit auszuspucken. Nach ein paar Minuten reflektierten da sitzen im Auto und konzentrieren Blick nicht zu erbrechen, entsorgte ich die Tüte und fuhr mit dem Wissen 11,49€ verschwendet zu haben. Ich kann nicht verstehen wie es noch im Sortiment sein kann und genauso hochpreisig verkauft wird wie normal Nuggets. Für Leute die abnehmen wollen kann ich Sie empfehlen weil nur einer reicht um danach kein Hunger mehr zu haben man ein Kloß im hals hat und es könnte auch zu erbrechen führen. Die normalen Produkte sind ok. Aber die Heizung könnte man drin auch einschalten zumindest im Winter macht das schon Sinn.

Thuringian cuisine has so much to offer, but everyone eats this crap. Everyone pretends to be local and chooses the alternative, but then they stuff themselves with cheap beef from Southeast Asia! From tomorrow on, only organic savoy cabbage!

On Sunday we were at this location, ordered three burgers to go, and waited 25 minutes. The service is very slow for McDonald's. Cars in the drive-thru left without any service. The place is very dirty, the trash cans are overflowing. Nobody cleans up spilled drinks on the floor. The staff doesn't have time for anything.

Heating broken, coffee machine broken! It's always something different, sometimes extremely long waiting times, half the items are mixed up or forgotten!!

The food was cold, the whole restaurant was cold, and I received the wrong food.

Visited on Sunday evening. Be prepared for longer waiting times. The staff was very friendly.

My Hamburger Royale TS didn't have lettuce or tomatoes on it, and I also had a pickle on it. I mean, do your job properly if you're getting paid for it, kid.

The toilets weren't clean, but that's more the fault of the guests...

Again – for the second time something is missing. This is really terrible service.

Completely overwhelmed, received the wrong food

This is the worst McDonald's I know in Germany. 1. It stinks of old frying oil. 2. The wait is always incredibly long. At no other McDonald's do you even have to wait in the parking lot, but here you do, and for a really long time. The wait inside is also exceptionally long. 3. It tastes just like it smells (see point 1). 4. It's incredibly dirty. 5. The current menu items are often not available. 6. The way the food is arranged sometimes looks like it was just thrown together from two meters away.

"McDrive" wait time over 40 minutes - "Top" - really fun... and this is what they call a fast food restaurant

Cleanliness: 3 out of 10. What's completely unacceptable is that the place isn't heated. I was sitting in there fully dressed (hat, scarf & jacket). Absolutely not. I'm not going there again.

I'm editing my review to lower my rating and describe the incident. Two weeks ago, I visited the McDonald's in Saalfeld, as I have every week for years. I ordered using the app. When I tried to pay with PayPal, the McDonald's app indicated that the desired offer was no longer available. So I ordered a different offer and paid again with PayPal. I then received two payment notifications in the PayPal app: one for the canceled order and one for the accepted one. I spoke to the manager at the drive-thru about this, and he told me to wait two days to see if McDonald's would charge my card. The following Monday, I discovered that I had indeed paid both amounts. The week after that, I went back, spoke to the manager again, and he told me he couldn't do anything and that I would have to open a case with PayPal. I opened a case with PayPal, but I won't find out what happens for another 15 days. That's my experience with this restaurant. I won't be returning.

We like to go there with our grandchildren; children really enjoy it.

It's a shame you have to give even one star. The completely overwhelmed staff are probably trying their best, but it's simply not enough. It's a pity that management doesn't see this. You easily wait half an hour in what is essentially a fast-food restaurant. Then they keep forgetting things... and to top it all off, you get rudely told off if you point out that something is missing. A pathetic place!

Hello, we went to McDonald's in Saalfeld this afternoon with our kids for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, it's become very dirty. Tables aren't being cleaned, children's chairs are sticky with dirt, you can't see anything through the windows, and the floor is filthy. It looks awful. Cleanliness is nonexistent. The burgers weren't warm, and the service was unfriendly. Sorry, but this isn't acceptable for a fast-food restaurant. The employees used to go around with buckets and rags, cleaning the tables once an hour and occasionally giving the floor a quick sweep... We probably won't be back anytime soon.

Unfortunately, there were long waiting times again, but that's normal there on Sundays. The service was excellent once more. If you have a request, they'll fulfill it.

It would be great if the drive-thru order window had a roof; ordering there in the rain is awful, especially if you have to wait a few seconds – the whole door gets soaked.

By 10 a.m., the tables were already dirty everywhere and hadn't been wiped down. It was a shame, really, because McDonald's was already beautifully decorated for Halloween. The trash cans were so full that customers had no chance to push their trash into the bins.

Totally dissatisfied! They had the same cups again. At the counter, you could choose the color, and at the terminal, according to the manager, you had to take what you were given. Exchanging them wasn't possible! On top of that, it's freezing cold, not clean, and the burgers are presented with a total lack of care. A shame! It used to be better!

Incredibly disappointing!!! A 25-minute wait for a medium cappuccino and a 9-piece McNuggets in a restaurant that wasn't even half full. They were served immediately after asking for them. The stuff was placed there without a word or apology, and it was completely cold because it had been ready for 20 minutes. After half an hour, there were over 20 more people in the restaurant just waiting for their orders. There were trays on the tables everywhere that hadn't been cleared. I've never experienced anything like this in a chain restaurant. The system is definitely not understood here.

Unfortunately, our visit earlier wasn't very good. First, we had to wait forever, then the waiter spilled our drinks, and then our food wasn't even finished... The burgers were almost cold, the fries soggy. I don't know if it's always this busy after 9 p.m., but the staff were completely overwhelmed... Unfortunately, I have to say that McDonald's in general has declined considerably in recent years, and I've unfortunately experienced this before...

Very disappointing service at MacDrive: Even though there were hardly any customers, we had to wait a long time, and the staff made rude comments with a 'smile.' Furthermore, one employee served us with a very hoarse voice and a stuffy nose. It is unacceptable for sick employees to work with customers and food.

Very unfriendly employees at around 9:00 a.m. on October 1, 2025. They were dressed in jackets (not exactly hygienic), and on top of that, the employees had colds, which is unacceptable in the food industry. They simply threw away the entire thing to stay healthy. Some time ago, this was the best McDonald's in the area, but now it's gotten so bad...

For the umpteenth time—about 15 times to be exact—various burgers have been missing from our order. When we ask for them again, the wrong ones are brought out again and again, and that's not acceptable...

The wait times are catastrophic, whether it's busy or not! They've gotten a lot easier lately. There's also a lot of chaos. Often, orders are packed incorrectly or are missing.

I was just standing in the MC Drive when an employee yelled over that they were having a meeting and weren't open, and that she didn't know how long it would last, but she sipped her own drink! This place is unbelievable! If you don't feel like working, then stay home and work hard. Hygiene aside, I think I'll contact the relevant authorities; what you're doing is beyond borderline! You're crazy! EDIT: 1 year later, still the same, nothing's working anymore.

This place is putting customers off returning in several ways: Extremely unfriendly service, a nine-minute wait for a cappuccino, being asked to pull up to a waiting spot so the timings are correct internally (even though no one else is waiting behind me), and a speed bump at the McDrive exit so high it scrapes the front lip of your 911.

Cakes are too expensive. I'd rather bake them myself 😑

The food was mostly decent, but not quite great. The fries seemed far from fresh, the burgers were a bit dry. Parking space was also rather limited given how busy it was.

Currently, McDonald's is not so good. They mess up the orders. The staff should be retrained.

Very cool restaurant, I liked everything

We had to ask for more food twice today because our orders were incomplete, yet again. Two other tables were also missing parts of their orders. It wasn't busy, and they weren't able to serve complete orders. The restrooms were dirty, the toilet paper dispenser didn't work, and the sink was leaking from the bottom... absolutely not recommended.

I'm ashamed that I still eat at McDonald's and continue to have high expectations of the food. The employees can't do anything about these lousy products and stupid service processes. But it's just a really bad fast food place, whether here in Saalfeld or anywhere else. This wrap confirmed that for me again.

Cashiers are rude and bitchy and service doesn't work at all

The drive-thru is completely unusable. Order: 1 small fries and 1 small vanilla milkshake This was entered and billed accordingly. Received: 1 small fries and 1 large strawberry milkshake Time between order and delivery: 3 minutes at most Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that this has happened, even with such small orders, that the ordered items don't arrive.

Fast service but they can still work on the food a bit, it was only 6/10

I have to correct my review here. It was OK the last time I visited, and now it's a complete dump. The tables and floor are all completely dirty. If you go to the indoor play area you can see a lot of dirt in the corners. The staff are completely overwhelmed. With every order something is missing or wrong. The same thing happened at the neighboring tables. Larger orders are probably too much for the staff to handle. I was better off not taking any photos of the toilets. So at the moment I can't really recommend a visit. The best thing to do is for management to check what's going on and revise the concept.

It has become very comfortable. With the app and everything is super easy.

The last time we were here there was rubbish and food leftovers everywhere in the kitchen and in the service area, today things looked a little better... Today we had an iced coffee with ice cubes for €6, not recommended! And 1 rap that was just half full for €6. For 12 euros you could have gone to a coffee shop, well next time, at least someone will understand me if I want to exchange something or have a complaint! No more Mcs Saalfeld from now on ❌️

It's a McDonald's that is always busy. I arrived at 5:30 p.m. and couldn't get my food until 6:00 p.m. even though I ordered via the app.

Cool location with great events. Employees and boss remain very friendly even when there is a lot of traffic. Keep it up!

Things used to be better here! The terminals often don't all work and you have to wait. Some codes cannot be scanned. The place cards are often completely missing. However, attention is paid to cleanliness. So far all of my orders are waiting and arrived in a reasonable time.

A disaster. I hadn't been there in years. I tried again, but I didn't even get to the point of ordering. The employee couldn't follow me and spent minutes searching for the positions on the touchscreen. Go!

Update 9/12/22 Still a complete disaster, either you can't redeem a voucher from the app or you can't pay by card or the terminals don't work. The staff seems overwhelmed. Update 03/25 Conditions are still very bad, staff are totally overwhelmed and the waiting times are unreasonable. There is leftover food everywhere on the floor, the tables are not clean and the technology only partially works.
