Like everywhere else. But unlike the motorhome parking space at the Lindau Thermal Spa, this is a haven of coziness.

Poor service. I ordered two espressos, and one glass was almost empty. They didn't bother making another.

No The food there doesn't taste like McDonald's. The nuggets tasted of old grease and like they came from a microwave. Reheated. The burgers weren't anything special either; they were all cold. It's a good thing this McDonald's isn't in my town.

Yet what a peculiar experience I was afforded! The vegan chicken nuggets, bathed in oil like Odysseus in the sea of ​​trials, lingered a touch too long in the blazing embers of the deep fryer. Their texture shifted from delicately crisp to the realm of heroically hardened—a mouthfeel as if nibbling on philosophy itself. And yet, oh miracle: the taste was a triumph, an orchestral crunch sustained by golden spice. The apple turnover, lukewarm like the last ray of sunshine on a late summer day, would have loved to be presented in a more sweltering heat, but its aroma of sweet fruit nevertheless unfolded gently, like a Goethe novella. The golden apple sticks, those crispy spears of the people, lingered too long in the flood of oil – but they yielded a bouquet of roastiness that would have silenced even a Roman senator. Unfortunately, the hoped-for sour cream sauce remained a phantom, an unattainable dream that lingered beside the meal like an empty chalice. Finally, the cheeseburger – already slightly squashed, as if it had lost some feathers in an epic wrestling match with the packaging – nevertheless revealed the unbroken magic of the melted cheese, gently caressing the palate. Summarum: a meal that at times reached the depths of preparation, but always rose triumphantly in terms of flavor. A concert of imperfection – yet a delight in the spirit of the fast-food philosophy.

I had to pay a €40 parking ticket even though I was in the restaurant the whole time. Never again!!!

The food was pretty good, typical McDonald's. The employees were fast, but there's not much more to say, since even fish talk more. So much for the positives, and now for the negatives. The restrooms are a fantastic destination for germs of all kinds. Brown and yellow stains on the walls and doors of the stalls make you wonder if an artist made a mistake in their choice of materials, and the smell is more reminiscent of eau de toilette than Chanel. Bottom line: If you're not afraid of germs and don't mind unpleasant smells, you can get pretty good fast food there, but this was our first and last time there.

Service and delivery time were okay. Everything was fine. The fries were undercooked.

This McDonald's is relatively large and located directly on the main road. The building and interior are clean and well-maintained. The parking lot is also large and clean. The employees are always very friendly. Despite the praise, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, especially at night. The burgers in the boxes looked like they had been thrown away. For this much money, I expect something different! A major highlight is that this McDonald's is open very late at night. The trash cans in the parking lot should be emptied more often.

Disaster! We visited McDonald's in Lindau yesterday evening, July 16th. We had to walk through the branch for 5 minutes because almost all the tables and seats were very dirty. There wasn't a single table that was completely clean, and most of the seats and floor were also dirty. It wasn't busy around 10:00 PM, which made the disastrous condition of the branch all the more incomprehensible. Staff were not friendly. No greeting. Not a word or expression of regret that the order wasn't even halfway complete. On top of that, half the order was missing. It can happen, but the same thing happened at the next table. It's incomprehensible that the branch manager tolerates something like this! There's an urgent need for action! Never again!

Watch out for the prices! Very expensive compared to other McDs. And a rip-off. Regular cappuccino costs €4.39 and a small cappuccino costs €2, more than double. And it still only contains one shot of coffee. The toilets were backed up in the morning because one of the two was broken.

Standard McDonald’s restaurant with McCafe, large outdoor area and plenty of parking. This location is frequented by travelers and one-time visitors and is one of the locations with the most sales due to vicinity to highway and main north-south border crossing from Germany to Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Italy. Despite some renovations, extensions and updates the restaurant is also on the outdated path of the lifecycle. After the ownership was transferred some time ago the mostly new team is lacking the same professionalism and commitment as the original team. The service is ok, but since most visitors are one-time only visitors, the overall willingness to go the extra mile is very limited. Also the quality of the food is on the lower side of the expected range. I had a wrap menu with salad and drink. The preparation of the food items clearly shows the emphasis on speed and not on quality and craftsmanship. Also the food items in the salad were served without further care on quality or size of the chunks. I got the inner bitter parts of the greens as well as two big chunks of a rather crude cucumber only. Also the tomato was cut weirdly. The prize, quality and also commitment to serve has clearly taken the wrong turn. But I guess there is still money to squeeze out from this location due to the high frequency of first and most likely last time visitors. I was regular customer of this location for more than 20 years. It is really sad to see that development to the current state.

I rarely give bad reviews – but today I was truly disappointed. I ordered an iced coffee shake via the app, but instead I got a strawberry shake with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The taste wasn't my cup of tea at all – and especially not what I ordered. The fries were cold and almost raw, which was pretty disappointing. But the worst thing was: I ordered the regular chicken nuggets with meat and got the McPlant nuggets instead – and they just don't taste good to me. It's not that they're vegetarian, it's that they just don't taste good at all. The bottom line is, I could have thrown almost everything away. I was really looking forward to the meal – and in the end, it was just a waste of money.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience at this McDonald's branch. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed – no greeting or smile. Even worse: an entire order was forgotten, and when we pointed it out, the response was unhelpful and almost rude. For a fast-food restaurant that's supposed to stand for reliability and standards, this was simply disappointing. I will avoid this branch in the future.

I ordered at the McDrive. Two of my five items were missing. No one answers the phone there either.

A horrible, dirty place—disgusting! The food is cold and old. I don't understand how no one monitors it. This place should be closed immediately! The back is crawling with rats, and the inside is full of mosquitoes and flies. I really don't understand it—it's just disgusting. Don't come here under any circumstances!!

UPDATE 6/22/25: The quality has declined significantly. My cappuccino tasted like dishwater and was way too hot. The crispy chicken burger had very crooked toppings; the cheese was unmelted, and the sauce was only half on the burger. Plus, there were annoying flies everywhere... I always go to McDonald's in Lindau or Wangen. But for about a year now, the quality of the preparation has been steadily declining. The food is served cold, is not ready (soggy fries, meat not cooked through) or the burger is basically in pieces in the box. Recently I was asked to pay 80 euros by Parc & Control GmbH because I was in McDonald's in Lindau for 2 hours and 13 minutes in January. Unfortunately, I exceeded the maximum parking time at McDonald's that has now been introduced, which is recorded on video, by 13 minutes. Since I just moved, the parking ticket didn't arrive. Therefore, I had to pay for an address investigation despite the post office's existing forwarding order. There is now a forest of signs pointing this out. I wouldn't have noticed this back then. Yes, the restaurant is fast food, yes you don't usually spend two hours there, but giving the guests tickets only to have them go after two hours is borderline in my opinion. I won't go to McDonald's in Lindau anymore.

Incompetence at the drive-thru! I have rarely had such a bad experience with a McDonald's as I did here in Lindau. The employees at the drive-in counter are completely overwhelmed or simply incompetent. Orders are constantly being issued incomplete and products that I have paid for are missing. This location now easily owes me over €50 worth of goods that I never received! It can't be that hard to put together an order correctly. Instead, I'm allowed to check everything every time and feel like I'm doing self-service for which I also have to pay. Complaints come to nothing - no apology, no solution, nothing. It seems like no one cares. I have never experienced such poor customer service.

Fast food is simply quick food that is more or less not cold but not really warm either. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with adjustments that are not possible on the computer.

We, a family of 5, always went there 2-3 times a year on our vacations and were able to follow the deterioration of this branch. But the crowning moment was January 3rd, 2025. When ordering from our app, we liked 2 McChicken, 6 chicken nuggets and a Happy Meal gift. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the second McChicken was missing until later and had to go to the counter the second time and complain. An employee actually accused me of fraud! With a little loud discussion I got the McChicken, but the mood was gone. Instead of accusing the customer of fraud, it is better to check how it can happen that so many things are missing from the order!!! In addition, everything was really lukewarm to cold. That was probably the last time we stopped here.
