McDonald's in Köngen

The Coke tasted more like water than Coke, and it was stale too; maybe they should change the tap water filter. And the McChicken Classic tasted really strange, I'd never experienced anything like it at McDonald's. The server was friendly to customers but not to the staff. One of the worst McDonald's experiences ever.

Very poor service and unfriendly staff! Employees were having private conversations. Absolutely unacceptable.

The food – especially the fries – is usually only room temperature by the time it arrives. The staff seems to be getting in their own way. Unfortunately, at least one item is consistently missing from larger orders. Since I usually order takeout and don't have the time to double-check every order (which I believe is the staff's responsibility), something has now been missing from my fourth order in just a few weeks.

I haven't received my food three times already because they simply forgot. It tastes okay, but it's awful here.

McDonald's Köngen: Incredibly bad, I wouldn't be surprised if the health department shows up. The burgers were soggy, cold, and not as ordered (they were also way too quick for our special requests). The tables weren't cleaned once during the nearly 80 minutes we were there, and it looked like no one had even bothered to sweep them beforehand. We were there at 10 PM on a Friday, and it was practically empty, so there's no rush hour excuse. It was filthy and greasy everywhere, and the tables hadn't been wiped down, let alone cleared, for hours. Absolutely not worth a visit. You're better off driving straight through to Zizishausen/Nürtingen; the 5-minute detour is worth it to get out of there healthy. 10/10 Disgusting!

The McDonald's in Metzingen is clean, and the staff are friendly. Everything seems well-organized. However, items are often missing from the menu, which is sometimes disappointing.

The food was really delicious. The toilet was so covered in plaster. Oh well. The food was good, so everything's alright.

I ordered a Big Rösti Hüttengaudi at the McDrive in Köngen today, but received a Big Rösti Original. Unfortunately, I only noticed when I got home 😡😡😡 That's just unacceptable, especially since it wasn't busy that day. It's been the same story for years now. Either something's missing, or they've got the wrong burgers. I can't comment on the atmosphere, as I always take my food home. The prices are also completely outrageous!!!!

Welcome to the worst McDonald's ever! As mentioned in previous reviews, the interior is truly awful. It's dirty, the equipment doesn't work, and the staff couldn't care less. Today I discovered that the drive-thru is just as bad. I ordered a Big Mac meal, but I got a Happy Meal... and it didn't even include the toy. What I did get was already falling out of the bag. A tasteless burger. The only positive thing was that the food was warm. I would advise anyone ordering food there to check their order immediately.

Used to be good, now it's run-down. Two out of four kiosks weren't working. Our kiosk didn't print a receipt, and they're incredibly slow. The order pickup screen is broken, as is the screen above the counter. And we had to wait ages for our food. Why isn't McDonald's being renovated? It's sad for the chain.

Waited an hour for food, completely disorganized from start to finish. A disaster! They just laughed at you, and there weren't any proper German-speaking staff. Never again!

This is by far one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. They lack everything! The tables were dirty, and there were leftovers on the floor. My order came quickly. The nuggets were still hot 🔥 which was good, but then came the McDonald's rib. Dry! Lukewarm, no sauce—the worst McDonald's rib I've ever had. Since I was passing through and was in a hurry, I didn't bother to complain. It's outrageous, especially given the prices! I'm never going back to this place! This should be a case for the trade inspectorate.

I was at McDonalds in Köngen on Sunday for the second time in a row. I wanted to try the spicy chicken nuggets that are advertised so much, but last Sunday I couldn't get any spicy nuggets and this Sunday I didn't get any. Last week I bought something else for lunch, this Sunday I didn't buy anything. First a huge advertisement and then no delivery is not acceptable.

Unfortunately, the fries were already quite cold when they arrived.

Never waited 30 minutes for food at a McDonald's. Maybe it was because the employees were too deep in private conversations. The fries were also tough.

Today, I ordered online at the drive-thru and picked up the menu from the restaurant, which I ate two minutes later. The potato wedges were ice-cold, there was no sour cream on the side, and the curry was replaced with sweet and sour sauce. The burger was also cold. Unfortunately, I've experienced something similar in this restaurant quite often. Truly awful and not recommended.

We waited 17 minutes for a McFlurry yesterday. The staff was completely overwhelmed, and more people kept coming. No apologies, and our ice cream was only made after we asked. Very disappointing!

Worst McDonalds i have ever seen, whole restaurant was dirty and my Royal TS had 1gram salat inside. I came to The manager to complain about salat im my burger , she was rude and angry and she said that it is standard and walked away. Im working as a manager in McDonalds in Slovakia so i know its not a standard and this place is the shame of the McDonald’s brand. Please try to change management or close it is shame .

We were there yesterday with the family. We sat outside by the children's play area. The food was mediocre, but unfortunately, the Coke was forgotten. It was the filthiest branch we've visited in years! Unwashed tables; in the corner where you return pills, there was a huge, overflowing garbage bag, which, of course, had gathered in abundance! And then there was the beggar who, with his zipper open, was asking customers for money...!

I like to pre-order for my family and then pick up at the MC Drive-In. Unfortunately, an order is rarely complete. No one answers the phone, and emails go unanswered. I'm definitely not going to the MC in Köngen anymore!

Unfortunately, the Action Burger looked like it had been thrown together. Sauces and dips were completely missing.

The seats are very dirty. The staff just walks by and sees that everything is dirty, or there's trash lying around everywhere, and simply doesn't clean it up. The order board is extremely slow and disgustingly dirty! I will never eat here again; I'm very disappointed!

Back after a year, and the service is overwhelmed and understaffed. It looks dirty and isn't tidy. Food preparation takes too long. Update from July 22, 2025 Long wait times, dirty toilets, tables, chairs, and benches. Table reservations take forever. Then they brought the wrong order.

The slowest McDonald's I've ever experienced. A 20-minute wait, and other customers were already standing there, annoyed because nothing was happening. But I carried on calmly. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left!

During today's visit, I learned how perfect customer service works. I spilled a whole Coke at my seat, and the floor was completely covered in it. The McDonald's team reacted super friendly, cleaned everything up, and brought me a new Coke. It was a great experience.

Prices are wrong and take forever

Unfortunately, the staff is very unprofessional. The employee at the McDrive counter didn't even know the price for the McSnack milkshake. A small milkshake normally costs €2, but he charged us €3.99 for a small one. It's not about the price, but about the way the situation was handled. He claimed they were out of small milkshakes, that it was a system error, and then charged us €3.99 for just 0.25L. We didn't receive a receipt, and when we pointed out that it was clearly a small milkshake, he simply ignored us.

Filet-o-fish is being sold for €6.29 for no reason at all, even though their own advertising sign advertises it for €3. When asked about it, they said that's not the case and the sign is incorrect.

Expired food is not worth it, find another fast food place

Unfortunately, cold fries and cold burgers get that doesn't work that way.

A total rip-off. Prices don't match the advertising in the drive-in, or they're simply trying to rip off customers! Never again!

We ordered milkshake with chocolate and it tasted like rotten milk… disgusting

The first burger was really juicy and fresh, I would have liked more MAYO. The burger also looked like the employee had had a bad day Personally, the second citizen had too much salad and side dishes for me. He also looked very mistreated, as if he had been in the fridge for two weeks. Maybe the salad should have been from this week and not from the beginning of the year. One tip from me is to use fresh lettuce instead of stale lettuce. I hope everyone who eats here has fun spending the next 3 days in the toilet like I did. Those who don't want to take this valuable experience with them should give it a wide berth and not eat it. PS the fries were moldy and soaked with fryer grease. Waiting time is endless. And when it comes to hygiene, it's a disaster. The picture speaks volumes. Wasted 400 points from the app and then got nothing. Because the milkshake machine didn't work. No refund nothing. My advice is to avoid this branch if you don't absolutely have to.

Waiting time in the drive-in from order acceptance to delivery at the checkout counter was about 15 minutes, the first order was apparently "wasted"... I also had to wait about 10 minutes until the order was accepted because there was a car in front of me

The intercom system at McDrive has been broken for a long time and you have to order at the counter. Of course, only 1 counter is open and so you have to wait 30 minutes, which is not possible in McDrive. If the thing is already defective, then you should at least open 2 switches!

Out of 5 stars there is one because there is no zero on my citizen, no meat was an impudence, I will never eat here again. By the way, there is rubbish everywhere and I stink from the kitchen

Drive order terminal broken for weeks. It is incomprehensible that this technical defect could not be repaired promptly. Unnecessary waiting times in the drive.

Rarely have I been to such an unpleasant McDonald's. Cleanliness - none! It wasn't heated properly - we even had to put our jackets back on. Food wasn't even really warm. There wasn't even any Coke left. It's a shame about the money and the time.

We went to McDonald's today. There was little going on and, fortunately, the food came quickly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the restaurant was absolutely disappointing. Cucumber slices stuck to the wall, the tables and seating areas were very dirty. Sockets on the wall were full of ketchup and dust. One of the burgers was also completely tattered and didn't look very appetizing. I know other branches where the hygiene and quality are significantly better. This urgently needs to be improved.

Men's toilet absolutely filthy, I rarely rate McD but when you find a toilet like that (around 11:30) then it's disgusting. There was also little to do, 3 ladies had enough time for entertainment.

The worst McDonald's I know. Ordered takeaway food. We waited 15 minutes for it even though there were only 2 people in front of us. 3 employees were busy yelling at each other and doing their work in a bad mood and unmotivated. Only the staff at the grill seem to be on their toes. Fries soggy, burgers and apple turnovers cold, no wonder. Toilets and restaurant also completely sticky and dirty. The tip of the iceberg was the Monopoly codes on our boxes that had already been replaced. Drive-in was also lined up all the way to the street, complete uncontrolled chaos. Never again!

The worst McDonald's that exists in the area, machines are broken, employees are very rude and make a lot of mistakes, they have had ice cream for almost a month and the reason is because the ice cream machine is broken, the toilets are dirty and there is no toilet paper at all. The bad MC I know. I have to cancel some things on the burger due to allergies. 90% of the time it doesn't work the first time and I have to complain. Unfortunately, in 50% of cases it still doesn't work. If you want to modify your food you should find another MC.

Absolutely unfriendly and listless, a real shame. So I have to say that the McDonalds in Köngen has always been the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Really always has and the staff there always stands out from other McDonalds and I really don't mean that in a positive way. Nowhere else have I had ice-cold food as often as I did in Köngen at Mc. But what I think is even worse is that the burger was not only cold, but it was also as dried out as if it had been sitting there all day.

I've actually always been satisfied, except for the last time. To date I haven't received a response to my email, which doesn't exactly speak for service. The situation was as follows. We were just in your branch and ordered on site. Since we obviously ran out of regular Coke, we were given a bottle of light. If you could possibly have overlooked it, but there wasn't even a hint from the staff about it. However, we were still able to hear an older gentleman with glasses to a colleague said “screw it”. Due to this fact, I would like to use this as an opportunity to inform you about it. My request to you is to simply talk openly with your customers. We would have liked to have chosen a different drink, but we were able to throw away the ones we bought.

Nice newly renovated McDonald's. The big drawback is the lack of a normal cash register with a live cashier. There are quite a few self-service terminals, but the user menu is imperfect. Therefore, many visitors spend 10 minutes in front of the monitor in order to end up ordering a burger, potatoes and milkshake. Because of this, you can easily lose half an hour standing in line at the terminal.

I come to the store often and every time I order via the app. But every time something is missing, today the toy (book) from the Happy Meal. Then no attention is paid to the sauces, I got 3 curries instead of sour cream and the 2 spicy dips are completely missing. Fries and netted potatoes only half full. It's starting to annoy me now. The sauce thing happens every time, I don't feel like having to go through all the bags every time, I order for two adults and a child. Or should I now be happy that burgers are no longer missing all the time? If it stays that way, I'd rather drive the 10 minutes more to Nürtingen. Strangely enough, it works without any problems. And I hear that from friends too. Oh and when I was there there wasn't a car behind me in MC Drive and from the cars outside it didn't look like it was full inside either.

Worst McDonald's. The order terminals are all brutally slow and will eventually respond after the 10th tap if you're lucky. The staff isn't much better, unfriendly, unmotivated, slow and every now and then something is missing from the order or is wrong. In this McDonald's we have often received older food that has been lying around for a long time, when you ask that you want it fresh the employees get very mushy, and this McDonald's is simply run down and dirty! Disaster, go to another McDonald's and avoid this one!!!

Unfortunately, something is always forgotten with every order, and when we ask over the phone they always say it has to come again, which means that the rest of the food is cold again.

Vorbestellt und bezahlt per App..Überschaubar ..Cheeseburger, Nuggets und grosse Pommes. Leider bekommene Tüte nicht kontrolliert. Pommes gross für 4,69 Euro haben gefehlt!!.Finde es frech so geprellt zu werden! Ist aber schon mal passiert! Werde da nicht mehr hingehen?

I was in the restaurant with my girlfriend, the service was a disaster, and both toilets looked worse than a highway toilet. The tables and the floor were totally dirty and sticky, simply disgusting. We brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager.

Unfortunately our visit to this branch was a disaster! A lot of items were missing from the order - apart from the fact that it was brought to the table very late - so the fries in particular were totally cold! We did at least get them replaced, but only after a second complaint about missing items from another employee because the first one probably didn't understand our request linguistically. Regarding the condition of the branch, it should be said that all the tables and seating in the dining room, as well as the sanitary facilities, were unfortunately a bit "filthy". All in all it was a shame! 😬🫤

Worst McDonald's in Baden-Württemberg

I ordered my McPlant without cheese and still had two slices of cheese on it. It's a shame because now I have to throw it away and €6.30 was free. Fries were still good.

The food is good, otherwise you wouldn't go there. The ambience is more or less disturbed by the service. When there is a lot going on, cleanliness definitely falls by the wayside. The tables are crumbled, the floor is dirty and the trays are overflowing and the place wasn't really full that day.

Was there on Friday and initially upset my stomach. The nuggets weren't ready but yellow-gray, the salad looked like it had been sitting unrefrigerated for at least 4 hours and the vegan burger had a sauce on it that didn't belong there. It was really warm in the branch because the air conditioning wasn't working (over 27 degrees)

We were looking for McDonald's to eat. Not only was there not one McDonald's in Stuttgrater listed on Google at all, and the other was closed for renovation, but when we arrived at this one, it turned out that the air conditioning in the room did not work, the heat was incredible. We went outside, and local residents from a neighboring yard were frying meat and all the smoke from the burnt meat was pouring into the McDonald's territory. The dinner was ruined by all these factors and instead of enjoying the food, I tried to quickly eat everything and leave there.

Came for the 'M', which wasn't available, as were some other products, and then I waited 15 minutes for my order even though there was nothing going on. Rarely have I seen such a poorly organized McDonalds.
