Fast and efficient window service, thanks to a friendly and dedicated team 👍 Note to the franchisee: I've been a good customer there for 30 years, but the exterior with flickering and completely broken neon signs, and flagpoles lying around, should be important for such a brand.

I've eaten there four times already. Every time, I ended up spending the entire next day on the toilet. A stomach bug is included with every order.

One star is too much; food has often been served incorrectly or items have been missing... and the restaurant is dirty – you only experience something like this in Lichtenfels! I will avoid this place in the future.

Worst McDonald's around. Orders are NEVER correct! Either something is missing or the order contains the wrong items.

We had already ordered our food, and after five minutes, a different meal was suddenly brought to our table. Then the staff spoke to us, even though the mistake was theirs. It really wasn't our fault…

It's ridiculous! If you're inside or picking something up and something's missing, and you ask about it (because McDonald's isn't cheap), the workers yell at you. If you stop supporting this kind of thing or stop going there, don't be surprised. Lichtenfels is awful, not recommended at all, just incredibly unfriendly.

9 out of 10 orders are wrong. Either something is missing or the wrong item was packed. Friendliness at the drive-thru is nonexistent. Example today: Ordered an apple turnover, received a cherry-chocolate turnover. Ordered two books with our Happy Meal, "Riddles" and "Lotta," but received two different books (Mommy's Bottom). In contrast, we went to the McDonald's in Senftenberg while on vacation. It was like night and day. Super friendly from start to finish; they even held a tablet out the window for us to choose from the children's toys. I'll have to review the McDonald's in Senftenberg separately. (Definitely 5 stars)

Unfortunately, today I couldn't select a large order of fries and a cappuccino from the menu; it seemed like it couldn't be entered. So I had to order the cappuccino separately. As a courtesy, I received a small order of fries instead of a large one, and a medium cappuccino instead of a large one, for the same price. Please change this.

Worst McDonald's in all of Germany. You wait forever just to pay, and then twice as long for your food.

Quite a decent McDonald's restaurant, plenty of space, nice food, pretty quick service. Tables are clean as well as WC's 👌 Good for a quick snack 👍🏻

We ordered a cappuccino and a latte macchiato, which were brought to our table. So far, good, but they couldn't tell us which was which. The restrooms at train stations are cleaner than here. Better to cross the street and go to Subway.

We celebrated a child's birthday here. It was great and very friendly. We would be happy to go again.

This is truly the worst McCaskill store you could choose. They forget something every time, so there's a 50/50 chance you'll end up with a stomach ache. It's better to drive the extra 5km and get to a decent McCaskill store. I don't understand how this branch hasn't been closed yet, given the low standards and customer service. Cleanliness isn't exactly a priority here either.

In front of the counter, the seat slides and you slide to the ground. The waiter does everything, but you can't see anything on the LCD, there's a sad smiley face. After a while, you see the food in a bag and my number. The Coca-Cola is in a glass and no straw 😞. The lady doesn't even check if the order is mine and nods her head for me to take it. Oh...

Dear Sir or Madam, I noticed that a television in your store has been out of service for several months. I would kindly ask you to turn it back on or repair it. It would also be helpful if your service staff pronounced the numbers more clearly when processing orders, as they are sometimes difficult to understand. I can absolutely understand that it's not easy to work under pressure – I know that from my own job. But even so, more care should be taken with food that other guests want to eat. My burger was so carelessly thrown into the packaging that I had to reassemble it myself at home. If I want to assemble my own food, I go to IKEA – but not to McDonald's.

Unenthusiastic employees take three minutes to cash out and speak Arabic to customers without them understanding a thing. Burgers are carelessly slapped into a cardboard box with over-seasoned fries.

What's going on here is a complete disgrace. I ordered a McVitie's meal with fried potatoes and a McVitie's flurry. Then, at home, I was disappointed. The McVitie's had fries in it, almost half the contents. The bag wasn't quite full. The McVitie's flurry probably had as much in it as a McVitie's Sunday. At the McVitie's, I heard a woman say, "Don't put so much in the McVitie's flurry." At €3.99, that's a complete disgrace. Next time, I'll get two scoops of ice cream. It's cheaper, and I get more out of it!

I rarely go there, and when it happens like today, it's the same thing again, something's missing. If the stuff wasn't so expensive, it wouldn't matter, I'd overlook it, but with those prices... I unfortunately didn't have time to unpack everything in the parking lot.

Fries cold, burgers not what we're used to from other restaurants. We won't be going there again, sorry.

August 21, 2025 (approximately 11:00 PM) I had to wait in the drive-thru for about 20 minutes and then got a "super order": Honey mustard wrap simply turned into mango curry, Double cheese turned into McDouble chili cheese, Sauce is generally not available in this branch, and as a "bonus," fries completely without salt. Another "extra": An employee could barely speak German, ran around outside with food in his hand, and chased people. Are the employees here on medication or suffering from mental health issues? For a long time, cheese, fries, or sauces have been regularly missing. The staff demonstrates neither language skills nor basic courtesy. Please clean up this place – it is absolutely unacceptable to deliver all three ordered items incorrectly and simply replace them with other items. This staff is only disgracing the McDonald's brand.

One of the best-run McDonald's restaurants we've ever eaten at. Clean and pleasantly decorated. I particularly want to emphasize the service. I ordered a latte with oat milk. The manager came to our table and explained that his machine was broken today. I was given the option of choosing something else or getting a refund. I chose a refund and was very sorry I couldn't get a coffee. A short time later, he was back at our table with a conjured-up filter coffee, the oat milk in his other hand—and a €4 refund. The coffee was fantastic—but I was even more impressed by his service. I haven't experienced anything like it in a very long time.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is OK. What I'll never get used to, however, are the new display boards that change the image every 30 seconds. You barely focus on them and they're already showing something else. Impossible... I'll avoid this "newfangled gimmick" and grab a quick bite somewhere else 🤷‍♂️

Forgettable. The employees are absolutely not in the mood. The burgers sit on the tray for over five minutes until an employee takes pity and adds the fries, which have also been ready for five minutes, to the tray.

First, we waited for ages (there was already a long line at the McDrive), and then both the fries and the salad dressing were missing. Absolutely spectacular.

Slowest McDonald's!! Rude, unfriendly, rude, not "customer" friendly. Waited for almost 20 minutes even though it was barely busy!! I wanted to politely ask if I could exchange Happy Meal toys. Normally never a problem! Apparently, another one in Lichtenfels did. I got a resounding NO and was treated in a totally unfriendly and rude manner.

The first fast-food restaurant that had fresh cut flowers on the tables. Thank you, that brightened my day. It was clean, too.

Super organized, everything clean. Even the tables were freshly cleaned. The employees were also extremely friendly. I've never experienced a McDonald's branch where the employees were as attentive as this one.

Standard Mecces, food was tasty and fresh, but we waited a long time for our food, staff motivation could be improved - visited on a Saturday around 11 p.m., the place wasn't really full.

Service disaster / The person at the McDrive-thru has poor hearing or their system isn't working again / The wait at the drive-thru is significantly longer than at other restaurants / You should always check for orders, as something is sometimes missing! I'll expand on this, since this restaurant is obviously going downhill... If you put something up and advertise it, you should also have it in-house! No Happy Meal content, even though it's advertised. No blue milkshakes, even though it's advertised, etc... But the owner doesn't seem to care about reviews either, as long as people come.

The food was unfortunately very disappointing because everything was just thrown together. It was brilliantly sunny outside, but there were no umbrellas, and after asking for the top to be opened, we only got a rude reply that it was broken, but we realized they were just overwhelmed. We waited 17 minutes for our food, which was fine because they were loading the car, but it was definitely too long. The playground is for ages 5 and up!! No high chairs available, all broken??? The tables outside weren't wiped down. Worst McDonald's in all of Bavaria!!! Chose Playmobil at Happy Meal and only got a puzzle because there was nothing there.

The operation and preparation time takes far too long.

We were here for the first time in years. Some of the order terminals weren't working. The displays with the order numbers were also out of order, and the lady at the counter unfortunately pronounced the numbers incomprehensibly and sometimes incorrectly. The wait times were relatively long for a fast-food restaurant. Customers were piled up in front of the counter, and you could watch the staff bickering with each other in the kitchen. Everything seemed quite chaotic and disorganized. I'm not surprised that people were getting frustrated. The fact that our order was incomplete at the end is, I think, part of the McDonald's experience. It was the same 15 years ago.

A Mc's like you'll find everywhere. A bit dated and a bit run-down. The staff varies in their friendliness depending on who's there.

An absolute disgrace for McDonald's! I ordered takeout again, got home, unpacked, and once again found completely wrong items in the bag. It's truly unbelievable how often this store fails to correctly assemble an order. And no, this isn't an isolated incident; the reviews here speak volumes. The service is a disaster. The employees seem completely demotivated and overwhelmed, as if they were forced to work there. Customer service? A foreign concept. Quality? A bad joke. It can't be that difficult to pack exactly what was ordered. But apparently, that's too much to ask at this branch. A mass of incompetence in a very small space, and employees who can't even perform the simplest task of packing food correctly. Anyone who orders from here should check their order immediately or go to another location. This was definitely the last time for me. The store either needs a complete overhaul or needs to close down.

A few days ago I ordered a Chicken Big Mac at the drive-thru, and when I got home I realized that there was just a normal Big Mac in the chicken wrapper....now I just ordered a Big Tasty BBQ, unpacked it at home and it was just a normal Big Tasty...the employees are just so incompetent

Slowest MC D. Ever. Waiting for almost 10 minutes in the drive-thru alone for a parking space, and no customers behind. The staff are also very difficult to understand. And the only MC D. Where you're always asked to wait for a parking space, you don't have to understand.

McDrive has really gotten worse over the years. The lady taking orders was nice and friendly. The others clearly didn't care about their jobs. No hello, no nothing... Not even a word. You have to look in every bag here... Ordered three meals, and all of them were missing fries. The employee should have been able to tell from the mayo that something was wrong. So I went out to the window, ignored me for five minutes, then someone opened the door, looked at me, didn't say a word, and closed the door again. Then he came back with three fries. Not a word, not a word. I'm sorry, but one of the worst McDonald's I've ever seen.

Incompetent staff. We had to wait in the drive-thru for 10 minutes before we were even accepted. Then we drive up and are greeted by a young guy who doesn't care about his job. Before he takes our money or does anything else, he prefers to spend another three minutes on his phone. Then, for the third time in a row, we didn't get our full meal for which we paid. The inside of the store is always dirty; the employees don't even bother to keep it clean, and the tray racks are always overflowing. Maybe they should pay higher wages and hire more competent staff. I never expect much from McDonald's because it simply hasn't always been the best of the best. But there's one thing I expect in every restaurant: to be greeted warmly and to receive my order in full. So, it's simply a rip-off.

The McFlurry could have been a milkshake, and the burgers don't always taste as good as you're used to. Next time, drive a few minutes further to Ebersdorf—or something will change fundamentally there.

It used to be a good McDonald's. It's now run down, the people who work there don't want it, every order is missing something, if you don't always leave out an ingredient when ordering you get cold burgers from the fat chute. Habe 20er VEGGIE Nuggets bestellt und stattdessen eine Mischbox erhalten, die auf Nachfrage mit tierischen Produkten gefüllt war. Keine Entschuldigung, kein gar nichts. Ich habe eine Unverträglichkeit, das hätte schlimm ausgehen können. Außerdem war statt dem bestellten Minecraft Spielzeug ein Jurassic Park Spielzeug im HappyMeal und am Bestell-Automaten hat es furchtbar gestunken.

We were here for breakfast on Good Friday. Very clean, super customer friendly and everything was fresh and delicious. Efficient management despite many customers and few staff. Super!

I was there with friends, two friends' food came straight away or within an acceptable time, for the other friend it took forever because an employee wanted to personally prepare the menu and it took forever. When it arrived, he said “don’t take it personally.” This employee cannot separate personal from professional. It must be mentioned that this employee also served new customers before my friend and neglected her. This behavior has happened several times and I can also say that on previous visits, the behavior towards me was very rude and sometimes insulting. After the food finally arrived, we immediately packed our things and left because we found this behavior impossible. I'm not sure if this person is suitable for customer contact. The current situation was on April 13, 2025 at 12:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Drove an extra 20 km to try the new sauce and ice cream. After waiting half an hour you got your order. The ice cream was completely forgotten, if you mentioned this you were just yelled at. Well, it's understandable if a customer pays 4.50 and he demands it, you should yell at him - pure common sense. When we were on the road, every sauce in the menu was "forgotten" even though we drove an extra 20km for it. It's best to avoid this McDonald's - something is constantly forgotten and the staff is unfriendly

If you leave the drive and you notice that something is missing, it takes just as long in the restaurant as it did in the drive (maximum waiting time was 16 minutes from ordering!!!!)... Once again we've come to McDonald's and again we're missing burgers... That's a drama. Do we really have to check every time at the checkout to make sure everything is correct? The people who work there are incompetent. Every time there are some defects, and sometimes they are not exactly small. We will never set foot in this McDonald's again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MC!

We had to wait an hour for a small chicken burger and ultimately didn't get it at all because the woman who gave out the orders didn't even speak German and didn't even understand our problem. Absolute joke in my opinion.

Tables dirty and sticky. Staff annoyed and unfriendly. For reasons of economy there are no longer any tubes. The milkshake machine is broken. A new one is due to arrive in the spring. McDonald's Germany should withdraw the contract from the place.

Coffee only in paper cups, no (ceramic) cups. Some machine from the kitchen is constantly beeping throughout the restaurant. Extremely narrow toilet. Very uncomfortable! Investment should be made here to bring the restaurant up to current standards.

I don't want to be petty, and the burger I ordered doesn't have to be exactly the one shown on the screen. But when I'm greeted by a bored employee as if I'm just going to the funeral, and after an eternity I'm greeted by one Employee gets written down, let's say, "food" and then I get a burger that is so cold that you could feed it to an Eskimo and the burger looks like it's a Mercedes truck (maybe because there's a Mercedes car dealership right next door). If you drive over it then you're so speechless that the fries that look like my grandma's colorless wallpaper don't matter. And when you get to the point where you can say that there's something wrong, then it's pointless anyway Since the employees don't understand it anyway with their knowledge of German and might then throw me into the hairdresser. Enjoy your meal...
