McDonald's in Ratzeburg

I ordered via Lieferando. 2 times chicken nuggets with fries for the kids. I ordered the I like it curry according to the menu. I probably got spicy. I couldn't eat that. The crispy chips were inedible, like cardboard and then everything was cold. That was honestly the worst meal I've ever had. 😡 Paid so much money for this!!! I'm totally disappointed. Never again . 😞

Service ok. The atmosphere is like in MC. The food was terrible. Bad fries, Coca-Cola without ice, half and half with water...

In my opinion, the conversion was very successful. The food is McDonald's standard. But there is one fact that is massively annoying and that is the loudness of the employees. There is shouting and cursing in Farsi and it makes you feel very uncomfortable. It would be nice if the staff were trained to speak German among themselves and at a normal volume so that you don't get scared while eating, especially very confusing for children. On Wednesday February 12, 2025 my son thought they were about to fight in the kitchen.

Since the renovation, you can't really sit there anymore. Due to the automatic slider, which is too close to the ordering terminal, it is always open and everyone freezes in their seats. We had to keep our jackets on and were still freezing. The entrance was planned incorrectly. An employee said that they often hear this from customers, but unfortunately they can't do anything about it. So in the future, only take it with you...if at all.

McDonalds equals McDonalds? No, I would really like to highlight and praise the always friendly team at this branch. You're doing a great job

It takes far too long and the sauces are ignored. With 2x 20 nuggets we got 6x mustard instead of the sauces we ordered... you don't know, you don't have to know

The reason for my review is the great service that we experienced at McDonald's. A young employee at the table asked if everything was OK. The food came very quickly despite the fact that the McDonald's was busy. When we drove into the parking lot, we were made aware of the app - all in all, we are very satisfied.

We had it delivered to us and it was very, very good...it was still warm and really freshly prepared...and delicious as always

I recently visited the McDonald's restaurant in Ratzeburg and was unfortunately disappointed. The chili cheese nuggets were of poor quality, tasted bland and were not seasoned enough. In addition, some of the staff were unable to understand German, which made communication difficult and lengthened the ordering process. I hope the management improves these points to provide a better experience for future guests.

We used the McDrive service. Absolutely great service. There were two counters, but only one employee available, which can be saved. You have to repeat every spoken word three times and the audio quality is equivalent to a tube telephone. first we received an incorrect order, and the second order was incorrect, Everything was missing, including sauces and two packs of fries. If you want to eat out in Ratzeburg for little money, you should go to Aura, Subway or Lavastein instead of going to the local McDonald's. Unfortunately I can only give McDonald’s in Ratzeburg 2 stars. The food is often a bit cold, which significantly reduces the enjoyment. What is particularly annoying, however, is that almost every order is either missing parts or the wrong items are delivered. It's really disappointing when you have to check every time to make sure everything is right - and even then you're often disappointed. The service here needs to be improved urgently to meet the standards expected from McDonald's. It's a shame, there could be a lot more to it!

Dirt shop closes at 1am on public holidays

The store is unbelievable! Ice cream machine runs again after 2 weeks, and suddenly they no longer have caramel sauce. Really wow!!!

We ordered 2 citizens with nuggets and fries. After almost 90 minutes the order arrived cold and incomplete. There was nothing edible left. Not recommended to order there! A refund would be appropriate.

This McDonald's branch has always been the worst I know and has been for more than 20 years! Of course you stopped at times, but it never went smoothly! Missing burgers, sauces, toys, with ice cream instead of without... The last time I was at Mc Drive in the evening with my daughter, I'm not lying, we waited 10 minutes for a 9 plant nuggets even though we were the only ones!

Ordered 20 plant nuggets and there were 4 normal ones in total, that's not possible! I will definitely take action against it! This isn't the first time that normal nuggets have been in the plants here. The McPlant Burger tasted different today than usual, I can't say whether it was meat. Will definitely avoid this fillale.

Since McDonald's in Ratzeburg was rebuilt, the quality of the products and service has fallen significantly. Some of the food wasn't really warm or the toppings were really poor. The fries are just wobbly and not nice to eat. It used to be better there. The new employees also tend to forget to pack things, which are then handed over after a long wait. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

I used to enjoy working there. Since the renovation, the work there has been incompetent and they hardly speak any German. The last two times I got a cola that tasted like water. The burgers I bought are always completely overcooked and I feel like they taste worse and worse. I'll definitely have to look for a new McDonald's, which is a shame as I was happy to use the new parking space order!

Ordered via Lieferando, received no response for over 2 hours as to when the delivery would arrive. Then information that the delivery would come at 4 p.m. (ordered at 1 p.m.); Then around 3 p.m. a supplier arrived. Unfortunately, it was already gone when we noticed that a completely wrong order had been delivered. The food we ordered was written on the receipt, but in the bag it looked completely different. Every attempt to reach the branch or the supplier (cell phone number from which we were called) failed because no one was available. So clearly not a recommendation to order there.

The new MC. Donald, after reopening in November 2024, it is too small, too narrow and the service is no longer good. Too few places. The branch was renovated in autumn 2024. Now it's super cold and uncomfortable because the automatic entrance door keeps opening and stays open for a long time. How can you plan so stupidly? Absolutely incomprehensible to me. Everyone, really everyone, sits freezing in their winter jackets and eating. Comfortable looks different. But the service was very good. The service was very friendly.

You always have to check your order. Almost every time something was missing. Very often food isn't warm... One day I ordered ice cream... but what I got was just a milkshake in an ice cream container... The ice cream was completely melted.

Very disappointing, I was looking forward to a fresh Franzbrötchen and coffee on the way to the appointment. Did I get an ice cold one, probably from the day before? Chilled Franzbrötchen, sorry, that's not possible! If I had had enough time I would have driven back and complained straight away, but that's probably taken into account that McDrive customers don't eat straight away and the way back isn't worth it. I'll be getting breakfast somewhere else soon for the journey, as every discounter is cheaper and fresher.

Just had a really great Mcd experience. 10 years ago things were going haywire here. Visually, humanly, ... but now Mcd and especially the Ratzeburger Mcd have become a top service experience after the renovation. Choosing something on the sofa at home, driving there quickly, entering the parking number in the app. I think 30 seconds later a very friendly MA greeted us and informed us about the order. A short time later the food was served - super comfortable! The food was great, there was even a goodie trolly burger and everyone was happy at the end of the day. Thank you Mcd Team Ratze🫶

Disgraceful service – cardboard straw refused! I am absolutely horrified by what happened to me on my last visit. I politely asked for a straw and was flatly refused! How are you supposed to drink a drink with ice cubes without freezing your teeth? The drink is far too cold to drink just like that. It would be bad enough if it was a plastic straw, but NO, it was a CARDBOARD STRAW and even that was refused! That simply doesn't work. Even at a drive-thru there are straws! It can't be asking too much to give a customer a simple straw so that they can drink the drink comfortably. I am really disappointed and will consider whether I ever visit this store again.

Mc Rip with Mayo??? Seriously?? Ordered to take away and, for a change, even noticed when checking on site (restaurant?) that apparently nothing had been forgotten. The big surprise came at home... Mc Rip, ordered with extra onions and extra western sauce. This was also noted on the special request receipt. Unfortunately, instead of the extra western sauce, I got mayonnaise or burger sauce under the meat. Maybe someone likes it that way... for me: disgusting!! What's more, my friend's McCrispy also had the wrong sauce (chilli instead of the normal sauce). The fact that even the fries weren't good is no longer important. Mc RZ has done it for me. Unfortunately, once again at nc drive things are missing from the order. That's really annoying when you find out at home that burgers that you paid for are missing.. you have to pay more attention to this when issuing them.. that shouldn't happen with the increased prices. .

Well-kept location and interesting interior design. There are actually fresh flowers on the tables here. The only drawback is that people often forget the sauces when ordering. 😅

According to the taste, the nuggets ordered must have been prepared in old, rancid fat. I ate this a day ago and still have to burp from it, with every burp that disgusting, rancid fatty taste comes back. But with the stupid assistants who are employed there, it's no longer a surprise.

Currently closed for renovations. Reopening in a fresh atmosphere and probably familiar food on September 26th, 2024. Unfortunately, Google does not accept the temporary closure and the Mäcces headquarters does not feel compelled to install a notice on the branch website.

Mc Donalds Ratzeburg simply cannot pack the order. Every time they forget something, no matter when you order, something is always forgotten!!!

Overall impression is not very clean, there seems to be enough staff, there are still leftover packaging on many tables. The women's toilet only looks half cleaned. The sink doesn't drain well, the hand dryer doesn't work. The wrap that was ordered was rather cold, only one side seemed warmed up and stuck to the paper. Probably not exactly freshly prepared.

No room for interpretation. In Ratzeburg the cup is always half empty, never half full. You order a Mc Flurry without any ingredients and they eat it so hard. Location is simply exploited here.

Were there shortly before midnight on Saturday. In contrast to the stated opening times, there were 1-2 inconspicuous pieces of paper saying that "the lobby", whatever that is supposed to be in mcces, closes at midnight. At midnight a violent fight broke out between employees and well-fueled guests. Under the threat of police and with a lot of shouting, the McDonalds staff was ultimately able to defend the lobby. In the "take mecces off" campaign I actually won a chicken burger, which I couldn't redeem thanks to the closed lobby - so I just deducted it myself again.

Hello everyone, I was just at the drive in and, among other things, ordered a happy meal. When I got home, everything was in tip top condition, I gave it to my sensitive friend as a gift because she had just thought a lot through. She was very happy at first and then cried because there was no toy Inside I felt sorry for the children who might have had the same thing happen to them and I asked myself how can you forget something like that??? Great new pizza pockets. With a small order but two mistakes, I find it sad. The pizza pockets are delicious. A nice addition to the range. The corners were not completely cleaned. Overall, a great branch.

The service is very friendly, the food is typical McDonald's (although in my opinion that was better), the ambience is nightmare. The play area for the kids is absolutely run down. My kids used to really have fun there. And they really aren't demanding. But everything is broken. The two of them were really sad.
