McDonald's in Cottbus

I thought McDonald's was originally for children... there are absolutely no play areas for kids. The outdoor slide is littered and, according to my child, it stinks. The food is poorly prepared. The cheese isn't on the burger, it's more like it's on the side.

We went to McDonald's three days ago, after the renovations. It was far from inviting; our orders were completely lost and some were wrong or incomplete. And to top it all off, we got severe food poisoning! That ruined our weekend. We're definitely avoiding that restaurant now; we're very disappointed.

Everything was great, clean, friendly and fast!

If you're not careful when ordering takeaway, not everything will get packed. That's one way to make a profit...shame on you!

The food was quick! I thought it was well-presented! It was just a bit cold inside!

We were there today for the first time since the renovation and were extremely disappointed. The entire layout of the store doesn't look particularly inviting. Uncomfortable wooden chairs and benches. It gets cold as soon as customers walk in, as there's no windbreak. Order kiosks are right at the entrance, so you can't even get into the store if there are already people standing there. They could have saved the whole renovation and instead reupholstered the old seats. The staff works according to the motto: If I don't come today, I'll come tomorrow. The food has also gone downhill. The fries were soggy, and the nuggets aren't what they used to be. You kind of get the feeling that you're not welcome as a customer/guest. It's just a shame...

I liked the old restaurant much better

The patio door doesn't close properly and is left open. The heating is insufficient, and the restaurant is very cold. The food is almost cold. You don't expect hot food, but it should at least be warm. The service was good and very friendly!

I wanted to get the figures for my girlfriend and specifically asked before ordering if I could choose them. €30 later, I was told, "Haha, no, that's just a coincidence, have fun." Stupid, then just tell me what's going on.

I'm really disappointed with my last visit to McDonald's. It was incredibly slow and disorganized. I placed my simple order and had to wait almost 20 minutes before I finally received my food. That's simply too long for a so-called "fast food" restaurant. No one apologized or explained why it was taking so long. When I finally got my drink, the disappointment was even greater. I ordered a Coca-Cola, but what I got was basically water with a bit of color. It didn't taste like Coke at all—just watery and disgusting. I looked around and realized I wasn't the only one. At a neighboring table, other customers had the exact same problem: their Coke was also just water. Apparently, this isn't an isolated incident, but a real problem at this branch. I think McDonald's urgently needs to change something here—better control of the drinks and faster service. This really puts you off coming back.

We had to wait 20 minutes for our order, and in the end, it turned out they'd simply forgotten it. Plus, instead of Coke, they only gave us water with a little color. Truly disappointing and not at all what you'd expect from McDonald's.

I'll tell you about my McDrive experience: Ordering/Paying: I'd chalk it up to German friendliness. So, it went so-so. Food collection: I drove past the window (it was closed and there was no sign). The McDrive sign was at the second window—that's where I wanted to go. As I drove past the first window, an employee flailed her arms wildly, and when the window opened, she said, "We're still at the first window—as always." I explained to her that I was sorry and that I had simply overlooked it. She then asked how something like that could happen and if I couldn't see. The food was handed over gruffly. Food itself: Fries cold and soggy, cheeseburger cold.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a McPlant, and therefore no reason for me and my friends to eat here anymore.

It's actually a great place to shop, always happy to go, but unfortunately it's often very busy and there are long waiting times...

This McDonald's is truly amazing! 🍔🍟 The food is always fresh and hot, the burgers taste just as they should, and the fries are usually nice and crispy. I'd especially like to highlight the friendly staff – whether at the counter or in the drive-thru, you're always greeted warmly. The branch is clean, the tables are wiped down regularly, and the restrooms are well-maintained. 👍 Simply perfect for a quick meal between meals. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, the fish fillet was inedible. The edges were completely hard from the fish, and unfortunately, it wasn't warm or fresh. A real shame! Communication with some of the staff is also sometimes very difficult.

Orders are processed quickly. Unfortunately, some burgers don't allow for custom toppings. The ambiance needs some work; it has a bus stop feel!

This is and was the dirtiest McDonald's we've ever seen and visited. The tables outside were all dirty and sticky. Honestly, I'm completely appalled by the conditions there! Especially if the outside (tables, restrooms!!!, floor...) already looks like this, what does the kitchen look like?! Truly disgraceful and a disgrace.

Very slow service, and Happy Meals were missing drinks or often toys. Truly pathetic.

Saturday, 7:30 p.m., dirty tables and seating. You have to find someone and ask them to clean them. When I asked for a straw, I was told it wasn't environmentally friendly and they didn't offer any more for soft drinks. Our favorite McDonald's in Cottbus. We always enjoy going there, and the service is tolerable. It's also affordable during the voucher period.

Sometimes there can be confusion, opening and closing hours may change, but overall it is okay. I recommend you check if it is open before ordering online.

The food and everything else is actually pretty good, except that the salad is usually never on the burger but just lying around in the box.

While I was waiting for my food, I witnessed an unpleasant situation: An employee (a woman with short hair and glasses) started yelling at a little girl (about 8-10 years old). I was shocked. Of course, not all employees are like this—many are very friendly. But this experience left a very negative impression. It's a shame about the wasted money and time.

I just wanted to redeem a coupon for a glass. There was a really nice employee at the checkout. He then told me that unfortunately, they were out of glasses. We ordered a Happy Meal for my daughter and a McFlurry for me without anything, just ice cream, because I'm eating limited at the moment. Food was okay but the employee was incredibly unfriendly I sacrificed 800 points for a Big Mac but I never received it. You order a Minecraft menu and ask nicely whether you can choose the toy or whether you just get any. Then the boss (or whoever it is) tells you that the toys haven't been available for a week. It's just strange that the toy boxes are right behind the counter, visible to everyone. You should really work on your staff, if you can't handle the stress or people then you're in the wrong job. My daughter would have been very happy with the toy. It's really a shame that people like that are allowed to work for you.

I cannot recommend this McDonald's branch because I experienced a huge insolence on the evening of April 6th. I wanted to ask nicely whether the figure could still be exchanged. We actually ordered normal fries but then we discovered a neon green french fries on the plate. At first we were a little skeptical but then my wife tried it. Well, to keep it short, she was in a coma in the intensive care unit for 3 weeks. The fries were clearly radioactive, that was clear to us. That's why I don't recommend you eat anything because this fast food chain has its food (if you can call it that) from countries where radioactivity is present.

Anyone who goes to McDonald's knows what they're getting. This is one of the better branches with nice staff, as far as I've seen so far. Of course, waiting times are a little longer when the house is full, but everything is within limits here. In my opinion, food is not left under the salamander for too long, lettuce is still crunchy and nuggets etc. actually always hot.

I ordered takeaway today and waited forever even though there was almost nothing going on. I ordered 20 pieces of chicken nuggets but there were only 18 in it😕 my burger was cold and didn't have the toppings on it as requested. And the fries weren't great either. I wouldn't want to go there myself.

Today i was there, and ordered the new big rösti for the first time. My burger came without any meat! I was thinking maybe I ordered the vegans with no meat! After came back home try to visit the website and see what was that! I saw all 3 new Rösti has meat. You also can see the potato quality. I think the staff are sleeping! And just don’t care!

Was at McDonald's for the first time in several years. Staff were bored and disinterested, I have no idea what the effect was in the back area. Unfortunately, there is hardly anywhere in Cottbus at night where you can quickly grab something to eat. Order was wrong but was kindly corrected. Nice service but be sure to check your orders.

⭐One of the McDonald's branches where, the food tasted consistently. 💯When they had spicy chicken nuggets I used to eat from this McDonald's continuously. I've never received any fried items soggy or unseasoned from them. 🕑The only issues I face are from the delivery people, they'll sometimes take about 45 mins to 1 hour to deliver even to very near places. May be due to the crowd. 🚑Also the exit for drive through, and entry for normal walk in are the same, so the chances of getting hit by somebody are very high. I had a similar incident when I was cycling inside and a guy with his show piece car almost hit me, since ppl exiting from parking will not be able to see the other side of the turing ✔️Their atmosphere is good, cleanly and very organized, they've drive through, and an outside and sitting area. Play area for kids are also available.

Food is OK! But the lady with the dark, short hair and glasses is an absolute disaster! She screams around in the checkout area, gives stupid answers to her colleagues, rolls her eyes, seems extremely annoyed and also answers the phone just as unprofessionally! A foreign colleague wanted to know something from her and she said “my God, can someone help me?” and explained it to him loudly again. She seems absolutely dissatisfied with her job and lets all the customers know about it loudly!! So you can't call it ambience either. It's often dirty and everything is lying around because the employees don't clean up regularly.

The employees are very unfriendly. Listless and not customer focused. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed an argument between a blonde lady and an employee. The employee didn't understand anything and the lady actually shouted.

We ordered food, especially with the MC menu because we wanted a glass with it. What didn't arrive, however, was the glass. We then went to the restaurant just to have them tell us that there were no glasses included with deliveries. Thank you for nothing. We checked again and it wasn't obvious anywhere that the glasses weren't available upon delivery. Especially since it was delivered the other times before. Well... another time we also ordered something for our child, of course a happy meal, our child was really looking forward to the toy, what wasn't there was the toy. Our child is extremely unhappy and we are once again annoyed with the delivery service. Thanks for that.

May 2024 McD has done it, nothing is good anymore. Mc Rib sauce is no longer smoky, but tomato-sour. Mc Chicken Sauce also sour. Mc Sundae different flavor, although this is not even stated transparently but only for chocolate or yoghurt it says "new." The best part is no damp cloth for the McRib? I won't go there anymore. 👎🏻 Changing every well-known and popular recipe to maximize profits scares away customers. Every single dip no longer tastes good, who made that happen? All I can do is save money and never visit a McD again.

It doesn't work at all! My son ate there last week. After he ate his first burger, he saw that the BigMäc bun from his second burger was completely moldy. He complained and got a new burger. As you can imagine, his appetite was no longer very big! Something like this simply shouldn't happen. I can't even imagine how many burgers like this were sold during that time.

Most of the time they were happy but this time they took the hit, an extra 3 mc menus for the new glasses because the children wanted them and then the stuff arrives and nothing, no glasses are written on it but cheekily on the receipt so you call them and Apparently there are no more, (probably all of them have already been sold by the employees on eBay) poor, well, a reason to stop eating chemicals
