McDonald's in Emden

Waiting for a fresh burger would be ok, but not for the sad and cold burger I got

Waiting times of over 40 minutes until you get your food.. Cleanliness is not a priority here either. The location is therefore not recommended.

Absolutely bad store. The app didn't work properly and didn't load the code. When I explained the situation, the employee claimed that he “supposedly” couldn’t apply the discount manually. When I asked why that wasn't possible, he just laughed. After I insisted on speaking to the store management, she came - and didn't say a single word! When I announced that I would complain, the “friendly” employee recommended that I call Munich and complain there. This is of course done. Even when I said that I would rate this accordingly here on Google, I only received a condescending “You are welcome to do that.” Conclusion: This was definitely the last time we visited this McDonald’s!

Recently there have been very long waiting times in Mc Drive and in the restaurant.

I've never experienced anything like that! As soon as you entered the store, there were already a lot of people waiting in line to pick up. We then ordered to eat there at the terminal and added table service. After waiting for 40 minutes, I went to an employee and asked where the food was. Was just put off with the statement “We’re just preparing it, just a moment.” After another 20 minutes of waiting, we also stood in front of the pick-up line as everyone else picked up their food there as no one was taking care of the table service. The same bag had been sitting on the counter for over half an hour, apparently belonging to the order of a woman who was also waiting in horror for table service. Understandably, she didn't want to accept the bag anymore because the food was already cold! We then had our money paid out and left the store. The cleanliness in this store is also a complete disaster. The toilets stink, the tables and floor are full of trash and dirt, the kitchen looks terrible (there is food and trash everywhere in the kitchen)... I will never enter this store again.

The food didn't come completely, especially not a single sauce. Food was cold, very cold, the toys at the happy meal were even warmer than the food itself. And this isn't the first time this has happened!

Ordered food online. Not much nuggets, fries, coke. After 25 minutes of waiting, still no food ready. We had the money returned. Observed that the finished food was left there for 10-15 minutes without being brought to the table. This food was certainly cold. Tried 4 hours later in drive. Waited here for over half an hour too. Fast food restaurant is something different. Very slacked off

Went to Mc Donald's today...and I was pretty disappointed because it was very dirty everywhere even though there was hardly anything going on and the order was wrong, the fries and nuggets were served cold...then I got a burger with extra bacon Ordered there was only one slice of bacon and not even on the burger. My partner's wrap was pretty wrong. He ordered one with chili sauce and there was chili only at the bottom of the wrap and on top there was mayonnaise or something...for that I would have paid more for it because I paid so much money for it expected ... was the last time we were at Mc Donalds in Emden ... people in the big city do it much better and they have more stress, oh well, the Mc chicken Classic was a joke, it was a child's burger I know it's much bigger...very sad...

Actually, all I need to do is write yuck. The food was delicious, but I wanted to leave straight away. The trash can at the entrance inside was so full that everything was already on the floor. Was put away after a while, unmotivated and annoyed. Floor dirty and sticky. Tables dirty, actually everything was dirty. I only stayed for the sake of my companion. The female waiter cannot be surpassed in terms of arrogance. So, I don't go to McDonald's in Emden anymore. The McDonald's in every big city is cleaner. Hopefully the kitchen is clean. The last time we were there it wasn't nearly as dirty. Ugh, Deibel.

So it was quite often that you had to wait far too long and then it was supposed to be called fast food. For the money I wasted, I got the citizens stuffed with salad and the citizens were allowed to do puzzles together all over the place in the packaging I think it's a shame considering the price and cleanliness we don't have to talk about it

I eat in this branch often. Today we got a BigTasty from the small menu to take away. Arrived home, opened the box and never seen a burger thrown together like this. The fries were amazing, it's a miracle I still have teeth... I would have understood if the store had been full, but it wasn't.

The waiting time is horrible, it takes far too long. The staff is hopelessly overwhelmed, especially when there is a lot going on. No sign of “fast food”, I’ve currently been sitting and waiting for half an hour since ordering - people who ordered fifteen minutes before me are currently getting their food. Luckily the child is playing outside with others, otherwise I would ask for the money back and go somewhere else...

Dirty. Chaotic. The food took so long that some of it was already cold again. The flurry was melted, I had it remade. I didn't check it again immediately and as a "punishment" I only got half an ice cream without the main ingredient. Overall it doesn't work at all.

So far everything was great, only long waiting times but they apologized. Great but you can't do more than work 😞.

I am really disappointed with my experience at McDonald's in Emden. Yesterday I placed an order there that I wanted to take home. Unfortunately, both the Big Tasty Bacon and a small fries that I had added as a bonus were missing. Since the route to the restaurant is too far, I couldn't just drive back to sort out the problem. What is particularly annoying is that the staff seemed neither friendly nor helpful, but rather disinterested and in a bad mood. You shouldn't have such experiences with a brand like McDonald's. The fact that you don't even get what you ordered for your money is unacceptable. In addition, I have not yet received a response to my complaint. I expect a global franchise like McDonald's to at least address such issues in a timely manner. This was certainly my last visit to this restaurant and my family will also avoid McDonald's in the future. Conclusion: Poor service, lack of products and no customer orientation. Absolutely disappointing.

We stopped at this Mc Donalds on the way to Norddeich, we ordered 5 coffees, one mc Flurry and one mc chicken classic. We had to wait 35 minutes before we even got anything. Okay it's full, people are working but then the order was wrong and we had to wait another 15 minutes for a god damn latte 🤬🤬🤬 Sorry but that's really too much!

Waiting over 30 minutes for a McCrispy and 6 nuggets is a lot, even for a Saturday evening, and to make matters worse, the food was cold. Employees obviously overwhelmed and/or poorly trained.

A McDonald's like any other, the food is not the best and the service is the worst. But that's just how we know McDonald's. You can be happy if you get at least half of what you ordered after placing an order. Also far too expensive for the leftover meat that is sold to you in the form of a burger. By far the last place I would eat but still 2 stars because I know there are even more disgusting McDonald's restaurants. And yes, I don't think I need to say anything about the ice cream machine, everyone knows what I mean anyway.

It's unbelievable that you have to wait 2 hours for food, when the food came it was cold. The staff is simply overwhelmed. Change something...

We have never waited as long for our food as we did in this fast food restaurant. After 30 minutes some cold food came to us. Incompetent staff who couldn't process customers as quickly as you would expect from a well-known restaurant. We are happy to forego further visits in the future. Thanks for nothing and next time we'll invest the 35 euros in another provider where everything we order is served and can be eaten warm!!!

A pure disaster, the store was very dirty.

Unfortunately, instead of the double cheeseburger we ordered, we only received cheeseburgers. Since we drove through McDrive, we couldn't complain on site.

We left two weeks ago from our lovely holiday in Norddeich. On the way back we had breakfast in Emden. It was cruel. Again the nonsensical selection from the breakfast menu. 2 or 3 hamburgers would have been good. Ordered some kind of limp breakfast burger with chicken and choked it down. Previously waited half an hour for food in a fast food restaurant. But then the worst came. The coffee just tasted like washing-up broth. The worst coffee of my life. Just disgusting. It was definitely the last time we went to McDonald's at breakfast time. The points are just a gift. 0 would be appropriate.

Worst McDonald’s visit ever! On Sunday, September 8th, around 9 p.m. I ordered a Big Tasty Bacon - and unfortunately that was a huge mistake. A few hours later I had severe stomach cramps and eventually food poisoning that left me in bed the entire next day. A fast food restaurant should adhere to hygienic standards - that was obviously not the case here. Absolutely unacceptable, never again!

Overall it's too expensive for what you get (almost €2.5 for a cheeseburger). The toilets are often dirty and tables are often not wiped down. However, the service is quite good, there is nothing wrong with it. The food is average as you would expect from MCD. I'll avoid it as much as possible.

We stopped on the way through. I've never seen such a dirty McDonalds. All the tables were sticky, the toilets looked impossible, everything was full of dirt and flies. The food was undercooked, incorrectly packaged and cold. The chili cheese nuggets looked ancient. The staff hardly takes any notice of the customers and doesn't understand them either. It's really shocking that a shop like this is still allowed to be open!

Thank you for your HONESTY, my husband forgot his wallet on the table shortly before midnight in the evening. We only noticed it shortly before we got home. I called straight away and an employee found it. And hand it over to the shift manager. Nothing was missing and there wasn't exactly a little in it. Thanks!!

It was pretty crowded and loud inside. It took a while for the food to be brought to the table. The vegetarian nuggets were too hard (at other McDonald's they were softer/better). Felt like they were old (cooled and then reheated). And in general the food wasn't hot enough.

Really sad what happened to the store... Every time you're here the toilets are dirty to the point where they can't be used anymore. It resembles a train station toilet 🤮 You also have to wait far too long for food even though there is nothing going on.

Our food got cold after we saw that the food had already been on the tray for 15 minutes. We have pointed this out to the employees. The lady became very rude to us... then she came back with the burger and asked if it was hot and held it out to me, but it was cold. The guests behind us just shook their heads. What's more, German is hardly spoken anymore and hardly anyone understands anyone.

The McDonald's restaurant has existed in Emden for decades. I once worked here myself as a high school graduate. Back then there was a strict regime when it came to cleanliness. Now it doesn't seem to matter. It may be because the restaurant is no longer run by an owner but belongs to a large franchise chain, or it may simply not be going well. No matter when I come here, the tables are disgustingly dirty, the floor is really not clean and neither are the toilets. You wait significantly longer in McDrive than in a restaurant. Yes, fast food also needs quality. And cleanliness and ambience should be the basic requirements. Unfortunately, this is obviously no longer the top priority.

We waited almost two hours and we weren't the only ones. After these two hours we wanted our money back, receiving the order was impossible. The staff ignores the guests, only when we put pressure on them were we able to get the money back. The staff was unfriendly and the kitchen floor was lined with dirt, garbage and leftover food.

I feel sorry for the people who work there. We were there last Sunday and it was so full that the staff actually couldn't take the order. McDonald's needs to work on this situation. This is also very unpleasant for the guests. The name “fast restaurant” doesn’t make any sense at all.

Absolute fraud, I ordered food within the specified delivery time and nothing arrived. Calls didn't go through and the store was simply closed. I filed a complaint with both Paypal and Lieferando.

Toilets were dirty, there were paper cups in the Mc Café, even though I specifically asked for cups. They don't seem to need it.
