We stopped on the way through. I've never seen such a dirty McDonalds. All the tables were sticky, the toilets looked impossible, everything was full of dirt and flies. The food was undercooked, incorrectly packaged and cold. The chili cheese nuggets looked ancient. The staff hardly takes any notice of the customers and doesn't understand them either. It's really shocking that a shop like this is still allowed to be open!

Everything is good but the gaming table is broken (They have frozen yogurt again)

Thank you for your HONESTY, my husband forgot his wallet on the table shortly before midnight in the evening. We only noticed it shortly before we got home. I called straight away and an employee found it. And hand it over to the shift manager. Nothing was missing and there wasn't exactly a little in it. Thanks!!

It was pretty crowded and loud inside. It took a while for the food to be brought to the table. The vegetarian nuggets were too hard (at other McDonald's they were softer/better). Felt like they were old (cooled and then reheated). And in general the food wasn't hot enough.

Really sad what happened to the store... Every time you're here the toilets are dirty to the point where they can't be used anymore. It resembles a train station toilet 🤮 You also have to wait far too long for food even though there is nothing going on.

Waiting time 1 hour. Several things were missing. The shop is dirty. This was my last time at Donalds. Next time I'd rather go to a different snack bar.

Our food got cold after we saw that the food had already been on the tray for 15 minutes. We have pointed this out to the employees. The lady became very rude to us... then she came back with the burger and asked if it was hot and held it out to me, but it was cold. The guests behind us just shook their heads. What's more, German is hardly spoken anymore and hardly anyone understands anyone.

The food was good. But the waiting time should be improved. I waited over 20 minutes for the clear order. When asked about this there was no answer. Unfortunately the toilet wasn't clean.

Toilets are dirty and smell strongly of urine. No sanitizer refilled. Sockets at the table dirty, storage compartments/table dividers in the restaurant dusty. Glass surfaces not clean. Food was tasty. Service MA were friendly.

Food was good. Delivery service was not offered due to a "shortage of staff". But the three of us had flat feet at the back! Otherwise it was once again more than unclean today!

We waited almost two hours and we weren't the only ones. After these two hours we wanted our money back, receiving the order was impossible. The staff ignores the guests, only when we put pressure on them were we able to get the money back. The staff was unfriendly and the kitchen floor was lined with dirt, garbage and leftover food.

The McDonald's restaurant has existed in Emden for decades. I once worked here myself as a high school graduate. Back then there was a strict regime when it came to cleanliness. Now it doesn't seem to matter. It may be because the restaurant is no longer run by an owner but belongs to a large franchise chain, or it may simply not be going well. No matter when I come here, the tables are disgustingly dirty, the floor is really not clean and neither are the toilets. You wait significantly longer in McDrive than in a restaurant. Yes, fast food also needs quality. And cleanliness and ambience should be the basic requirements. Unfortunately, this is obviously no longer the top priority.

It's decreasing more and more, cleanliness is a disaster. 🤮

I feel sorry for the people who work there. We were there last Sunday and it was so full that the staff actually couldn't take the order. McDonald's needs to work on this situation. This is also very unpleasant for the guests. The name “fast restaurant” doesn’t make any sense at all.

We are very disappointed, we were there at lunchtime today. The burgers were almost cold and tasted somehow sticky as if they had been prepared for a long time. The deep fryer probably needs an oil change, but the fries certainly looked and tasted the same. The toilets are a disgrace, full of flies and smell. Never again.

Absolute fraud, I ordered food within the specified delivery time and nothing arrived. Calls didn't go through and the store was simply closed. I filed a complaint with both Paypal and Lieferando.

It was terrible for an hour and a half and still hadn't had anything to eat. And the service was shit too🤮

Toilets were dirty, there were paper cups in the Mc Café, even though I specifically asked for cups. They don't seem to need it.

It gets worse with the waiting time (45min) for an order with two menus. Even though it was placed via online order. On top of that, another burger was missing. On top of that, everything was cold. I don't feel like it anymore.

Since I can't leave a review on Lieferando, I'll do it here!! You supposedly “deliver” until 11 p.m.? Strangely enough, the Lieferando app says that you are “currently closed” from 7:30 p.m. 💀 Why don't you change your strange opening times for deliveries?

I've never seen a McDonald's where the staff was so overwhelmed. I've never even seen that in the big city where there's really a lot going on. There's never been an hour of waiting for a meal... But I really had to change something 🙈

Unfortunately not recommended I've been to several McDonald's locations, but this one disappointed me. The staff seems overwhelmed and is unfortunately not particularly friendly. The cleanliness of the store also leaves something to be desired. Overall, I cannot recommend this branch.

It was very crowded and unfortunately the team had poor visibility and the announcement of the number was difficult to hear. We waited 30 minutes for 4 burgers.

Will never eat there again. To pay you had to stand at the checkout for over 10 minutes and no employee felt responsible for you. In addition, you first had to look for a clean place. The tables were either full of garbage or full of leftover food. The sockets at the tables were so dirty that it made you sick. Our table neighbors asked an employee if he could wipe down their table. Instead of wiping the table with a cleaning product, he came with two napkins. The table was then “wiped”. Without cleaning agents! When we asked if he could wipe with a cleaner, our table neighbors didn't get an answer. It is questionable whether the employee even spoke German. After over 40 minutes, we and other guests received no food. Only after we reported to the counter did we receive our order after about 5 minutes. Apparently the burgers were remade. However, they were cold and cut all over the box. Other guests, for example, only received half a fries or many had to go to the checkout again because their orders were incomplete. And that every minute. The store was full of trash on the floor and the carts where the tablets were placed were also more than full. I would have preferred to give 0 stars. The store didn't make a single profit.

We feel ripped off by the service here. Ordering at the terminal and at the checkout is good. Then the output! It's ready for pickup and only 1 part is on the tray. Finally, two large fries are missing. Should take three minutes. Asked after 5 minutes, comes straight away. After 12 minutes I stood at the counter. 3pers. know about it, make a chip and it ends up somewhere else on the tray. After we were finished I told them that they could eat the two fries themselves. We wanted to buy 2 coffees with promotional codes at MC Drive. the Lord told us it would only work once. which is simply wrong because we had 2 codes. He either meant one at the normal price or bad luck. after I showed him the second code again he simply closed the window. very very very very bad service!!

Unfortunately, something is missing every time and everything is often slapped together. It's a shame, after all, your eyes eat too. Why is the lettuce on the burger cut so finely? Half falls apart. However, the employees are all very friendly and calm.

In itself a reliable shop with nice employees, but the cleanliness is deteriorating day by day. I wanted to quickly wash my hands before eating and was horrified by the bathroom. It was full of flies and had an obnoxious smell. Unfortunately, my appetite was gone afterwards, which is a shame.

Just a quick walk through MC Drive after a great day. Greetings at the terminal were tip top, very friendly and funny when paying, had a lot of fun with the issue and were served quickly. Food freshly prepared, hot and well done. Thank you, you brightened our day even more.

McDonald's is no longer an option for me personally because the vegan burger is not vegan and the vegetarian one doesn't taste good. But the milk substitute for coffee is always there. Unfortunately there is no vegan mc flurry, but there is on the website. So no choice for me.

Very modern in itself, people are polite, but the cleanliness really leaves a lot to be desired. We were there at 10 a.m. and there were leftover lettuce everywhere on the floor, flattened fries and dumplings full of flies and unfortunately very unclean.

Very busy, the staff was visibly overwhelmed with delivering the orders. At home I noticed that a burger and 2 hot pockets were missing. From what I read in the other reviews, I'm not an isolated case. But no one seems to be interested. Apparently the employees are not well trained, management personnel who keep a cool head in stressful situations were completely missing today. Maybe it's just the operator's greed for profit. The last time I was in Emden was at McDonald's. This is how you scare away customers.

McDrive access is very short and narrow. Prices and food like everywhere else. Service at the table was very attentive and friendly.

I don't believe much in clichés. However, I can well imagine that this McDonald's alone is responsible for the rumor that the ice cream machine is always broken. At first it started quite normally when I wanted a milkshake, but of course there wasn't one. We were in Mc Drive on June 20th around 3 p.m. The employee at the counter to take our order was very funny and friendly! So you'll be happy to come back! That was the most fun Mc Drive ride I've had in a long time!

Hello, today I ordered a big mac without cheese and cucumbers. The employees had to remake the burger three times because I can't tell they had cucumbers or tomatoes on their eyes.

Cappuccino was tasty, but the toilets were in a disgusting condition with tons of flies. Several toilet seats were also loose. The sink is far too high for children and there is no stool

As always... I go voluntarily when I'm hungry and there's no time to eat. The McDonald's pulp does this job, it's just not food. It's bad, unhealthy and expensive... and sometimes the only alternative, hence 3 points. Which dishes do I recommend: If available, a good kebab, but nothing from here.

People who don't eat meat don't need to set foot there. They topped 2 mcplans with meat and put “normal” nuggets in them. Everything packed in mc plans packaging. Apparently they did it on purpose. Biggest joke and disrespect! Don't go there anymore!!! We won't do that again. We placed an order for 4 people with table service (2 x Happy Meals, 2 Mc Menus and one nuggets), then waited 40 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting, an employee came and asked how long we were waiting and said: "20 minutes "It's still short, so for such "large" orders a waiting time of 1 hour would be normal." The tip was to split such orders into 2 or 3 orders, because small orders are often preferred. After 40 minutes we asked and our order was removed from the system. They then took care of it quickly. And after 55 minutes we could eat. There was a lot going on, but I still find it unbelievable that other smaller orders are being brought forward. Then the toilet situation was unbearable and going to the toilet was avoided because all the toilets in the men's toilet were dirty or blocked, just disgusting. And after the impression, the women in the group no longer dared to go to the toilet. We also talked to other guests there who also had to wait forever for their food and just said that if we hadn't already paid, we would have left again. We won't be entering this store again anytime soon

My friend precisely ordered curly fries, but then received regular fries. However, when she pointed this out to the saleswoman, she just said that normal fries were listed in her list and then started to argue... Honestly, we'd rather not go to McDonald's at all than go to this one.

Last night I waited over an hour for 2 Happy Meals, asked several times after almost 40 minutes and then got unfriendly answers from the staff... Tables and toilets weren't clean... And in the end the food wasn't even really warm either.. . SAD!!!

Went to McDonald's this evening and ordered something to take away - a BIC Tasty bacon menu with 6 nuggets and a chicken burger menu with 6 chicken nuggets (both with fries). When we were sitting in the car and I looked in the bag I thought I was being taken for a ride, instead of chicken burger fries and nuggets I got 2x Krispy chicken and 2x Curly Fries Boa I was so mad because I was so looking forward to the nuggets.

Been getting worse for some time now. The burgers are just slapped together in such a way that they end up stuck in the package completely tattered. For the price this is a disgrace. McDonalds could do that much better.

In the Lieferando app, the burgers are not kept up to date and the offers have already expired in 2023! Furthermore, the minimum order value was changed from €15 to €25 and then to €20, which is too much for a single household! With a minimum order value of €15, sometimes you don't manage to eat everything! I don't know who is in charge of the app, but they should fire them!

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. No joke, ordered a Hamburger Royal Cheese, bit it twice and threw it away. The meat felt like it was 5 hours old, the burger didn't taste good at all, and it also had a bad smell. I don't usually check my food in McDonalds anymore, but since there were such bad reviews here that something was often forgotten, I checked it and my ketchup was actually missing. Then I asked and got 3 pieces, but one pack was really sticky, as if it had been floating in cola for 3 days. The fries, cheeseburgers and chicken burgers were mediocre, there are better ones in other restaurants but at least you could eat them. All in all, a real failure. It can only survive because it is the only McDonalds in Emden.

My nuggets weren't done! (they were raw!) I feel sick

We regularly go there after our Norderney vacation to strengthen ourselves for the return trip. So far everything has always been okay in McDrive and the waiting times have also been okay (in July, Saturdays around 1 p.m.). On February 24th we stopped there on the way there. Pre-ordered via the app, then given the "go" when we arrived at the parking lot... a short toilet break was taken and the food could be picked up directly afterwards at the counter in the store. Everything was complete, hot and delicious. We can't complain.

It wasn't friendly, the food was cold and it wasn't clean either... I'd rather spread some bread for the journey next time

Unfortunately I couldn't get in, even though it says on the door that it's open until 2 a.m. and I was there at 1:20 a.m. Since I can't drive through the drive-in with my 4m high bus, McDonald's is definitely not very customer-oriented.
