I was with you on September 2, 2024 and couldn't order anymore, if the opening hours are until 2 a.m. and I can't get anything at 1:15 a.m. why is it open until 2 a.m.? Always the worst McDonald's I know. Rats in the parking lot or in McDrive. Service poor, cleanliness subpar, food always cold and usually half of it is missing. It's definitely worth driving to the next branch directly on the A7 motorway (Bad Grönenbach) - a huge difference.

Nobody speaks German, every order was missing at least one thing, half of them were cold and the branch itself was completely dirty. We also waited almost an hour until everyone had their food, even though there wasn't much going on.

I just had the worst experience. We had to go back to the counter 3 times to order our food. I wasn't even understood when I spoke personally to 4 employees!!!!! Great, she even speaks some German with a sexy accent. There is another problem with the cash payment process and the change. Since I come from a good family, I give back the €10 that was paid to me too much. Finally: my order number appears on a display. There is another specialist at the counter who tries to combine the order numbers with the right food. My simple BigMac order with fries, ketchup and cola somehow ended up with an extra chicken burger and an apple turnover. I'm not giving it back this time. While I'm sipping my watery Cola syrup, I notice the lovingly put together BigMac that has shrunk into a Mini Mac, then bite into the cold but far too salty fries and make a mental note to go shopping in good time next time. The uneasy feeling of having spent far too much money on a “meal” and having experienced the workforce of the future stays with me for a long time on the drive home...

Hard to beat in terms of disgust! On the way back from Italy we stopped in Kempten to grab a quick dinner with the kids. However, we would have been better off not visiting this McDonald's branch because none of the tables were clean, most of them were even full of rubbish and inaccessible. We waited more than 15(!) minutes for food because the untrained staff couldn't cope with the "rush" at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. The food brought to the table was half cold and incomplete. The employee couldn't respond to my complaint about a missing Coke and the wrong toy in the Happy Meal because he simply didn't understand me. Once inside I was asked to place another order at the machine, which I saved myself because the staff was already completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the negative highlight of the visit was the toilets, which were already flooded with water in the entrance area (see photo) and you have to have a very low level of disgust to use them. All in all, this was by far the worst McDonald's experience since I can remember. Even my children said afterwards that they didn't want to go to McDonald's anymore. And that is an indictment. This branch should be thoroughly put into shape or, in the worst case, closed. This is not a figurehead for the fast food giant, but rather an oath of revelation.

Cheeky normal Mc Flurry was made with the frozen yoghurt ice cream, we should have just made it as sold out instead of offering cheaper ice cream than Mc Flurry, no mention of this from the staff but we liked it because we ordered frozen yoghurt and a Mc Flurry. There are now 2 drive-thru counters (BUT only one lane to the food serving window) and also two parking spaces for mobile orders The only drawback: certain things are often forgotten when ordering mobile. It's annoying when you pick it up at the drive-thru and only notice it when you get home. Sometimes the sauce is missing, sometimes the toy is missing from the Happy Meal (extremely disappointing for the child) but also sometimes a burger. I now check everything before departure.

When I wanted to order from the kiosk myself and redeeming the coupons in the app didn't work, I asked an employee for help, who compensated for the technical problem with a voucher. I have never experienced such friendly hospitality at any McDonald's. German is also spoken here, which has unfortunately become a rarity! While the staff in Füssen, for example, is completely overwhelmed with the German language, here in Kempten the staff are competent and you can communicate without any problems, so every concern can be addressed. Of course the food was good too! 🍔🍟🔝And with all the factors mentioned that stand out so positively, it doesn't matter if you have to wait a little longer for it. In particular, the lovely lady from whom I received the voucher, but also the other employees, made my day with their respectful manner. Thanks again for that ♡ It's also pretty clean for a McDonald's. You also get the impression that much more emphasis is placed on waste separation than in other branches.
