McDonald's in Altötting

Since the renovation, this fast food restaurant is simply no longer worth visiting. The new system is confusing and only works to a limited extent, while the display board is far too small and hidden and the overview on the order display is more of a mess than clear, not to mention the two-lane design of the drive-in, which is more for me has a potential risk of accidents. The staff is also obviously overwhelmed by the innovations, and one employee recently said that she absolutely didn't like the changes and that they made everything more complicated rather than better. The food is getting worse and worse and no longer does justice to the price. For me there are a lot of good reasons to prefer going to Burgerking, at least the system works there and the employees seem friendlier and more motivated, probably because the working conditions are more pleasant.

I'm really annoyed with this store. For the third time they have forgotten a burger at the Mc Drive and now every time I go there they manage to find something missing or the order is simply completely wrong. The impression when I'm in the Mc Drive is extremely chaotic and the employees are extremely overwhelmed when there are 2-3 cars in the queue. Actually 0 stars.

I've now gotten used to the chilly atmosphere, although I'm still missing a cozy MC Cafe. Not only is the current one much too small, it is also far from a cozy, cold ambience and lit like an operating room. Drinks (1x 0.4l, 1x 0.5l) were swapped, normal ones were delivered instead of plant nuggets, a disaster for a vegetarian/vegan. The fruit nonsense we ordered was also forgotten, as was a sauce. The ambience is okay, but rushing the employees up the stairs with every order is also morally questionable. I try to avoid the restaurant chain anyway, this visit reminded me why.

As usual, no big surprises. Full quickly, but also hungry again quickly. Staff is nice, restaurant and toilets are clean. So everything is ok!

Went there today and was totally disappointed. Burger lukewarm, fries cold, even though there were almost no guests there.

We had to wait 20 minutes for our food even though it wasn't really busy. The quality of the food has deteriorated a lot, sticky and cold! The employees are friendly but completely overwhelmed. For the high prices you can eat better, healthier and faster in a normal pub.

Since the renovation it has been a catastrophe, people are no longer served at the drive-in. Inside you get yelled at because you don't want to take away burgers that you didn't order or pay for. The burgers are thrown together absolutely carelessly, so you can assemble them yourself later. The site wasn't a grenade before (in fact, it was the opposite in its early days), but now... I could have cut it out like I used to made . Conclusion for me I will avoid it for a long time and hope you don't do the same to other customers.

As a result, each additional order is delayed further and further, and the queue becomes larger rather than smaller. And when your order is ready, you can rarely read it on the screen; the number is usually called out by the employees. However, with the hustle and bustle that sometimes prevails, this reputation tends to get lost. Unfortunately, at the moment you are slowing yourself down with the work processes you are using and are unnecessarily putting more stress on yourself than necessary.

Looking for a table. Waited. After 20 minutes there was a quick check to see whether employees were there. In the verbally aggressive kitchen fight, I spotted the tray with my number on it. After several failed attempts to establish a connection, an employee finally picked up the tablet in her arms. Full of anticipation for the meal, I went upstairs and waited for the meal with my partner. After another 5 minutes of waiting due to the 800 steps to the first floor, the tray arrived at our table. I got frostburn on my burger because it had a temperature of almost 0 Calvin. However, one thing can be said: During the meal, due to the overall situation, we developed a curiosity to read the reviews, which contributed to the good entertainment while dining. Now I feel like I'm doing permanent damage from eating. If you have a preference for cold food, bad treatment of employees and waiting times until you're almost starving, you'll definitely get your money's worth here.

We were back today for the first time after the renovation. We have been regular customers for over 30 years. But what we experienced today surpasses everything in terms of unprofessional, unfriendly and incompetence!!! My Double Big Mac was lukewarm and there was a gaping void between the middle and top buns. Just nothing in it. No meat, no salad or sauce. After I complained about it to the (nice lady) in the MC Café, she went towards the counter and wanted to explain to the lady (think the branch manager) what was wrong. She then reacted in a tone that was absolutely unacceptable towards colleagues and employees and re-placed the order in the kitchen. I then waited exactly 12 minutes for my burger!!! Since you have a view of the open kitchen, I also saw how people work here with a bad mood. I'm not surprised by the "boss's" tone of voice. The only positive thing was the young lady (with a headscarf) who brought the food to our table. She was very friendly and totally unaffected by the smoking tone that prevails in this "store". I will definitely avoid this branch in the future!!! Maybe the leadership position should be changed here. I feel sorry for the employees who do this to themselves.

I couldn't say anything negative about the staff who brought the food to the people, they were very friendly. I liked the old MC better than the new one, I won't be coming here anymore for now.

Card payment at the Dirve is often not possible, but unfortunately this information is only given to you at the ordering counter, after which you are essentially "trapped" at the Dirve because it now has two lanes. Recently ordered a “Tom Kaulitz menu”, which actually consists of the burger, nuggets and a drink. Unfortunately, the employees refused to sell the menu as is. I got the burger, fries and drinks - that was really the biggest disappointment, maybe you should train your employees properly. Since the renovation, you can only order in the branch via a screen - a real challenge for older people. Since then, employees have seemed overwhelmed. It's a shame, I've known the branch since I was a child and would have hoped the renovation would be a little better thought out.

2 McDrives are terribly organized

We wanted a ChaiLatte with oat milk and a shoot caramel. What we got after 5 minutes alone at McDrive was something between leftovers from the coffee machine from the day before or cheap iced coffee from Aldi. I have no idea what you're doing, but you're doing it wrong. If the nearest McDonalds wasn't 15km away, I would never go to Altöttinger McI again. All the renovations don't help either. Ps. The new McDonalds looks like a prison. I have no idea who your interior designer is, but a good ambience looks different.
