McDonald's in Bad Saulgau

Reorganized despite low business. Never before have customers had to wait so long in a McDonald's.

I lost more money than I should have due to incorrectly received orders, and this has happened more than once, but that's what happens when you only check at home.

We had to wait 20 minutes for a menu. There was absolutely no business, which is incomprehensible.

Long waits at the drive-thru counter every time, even though there are no customers in front of you. Especially in bad weather, they'd rather leave you standing in the rain at the order terminal. Update 10/19/25: Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The slowest McDonald's around... Long waits at the drive-thru, or broken machines for weeks.

There's no car at the McDrive, and yet I've been standing there for 15 minutes waiting for my food...fast food haha Edit: Also, the wrong order, instead of a McWrap, I get a McSpicy. Great place!

Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed, as it's often been very poor! But today was the worst, which is why I'm writing now! I had to cancel my entire order because they didn't have the ball or donut I wanted. Despite repeatedly stating that I wanted a refund and no poor alternative, the employees didn't accept this. They ran away and sent someone else ahead. Unfortunately, no one wanted to take care of it. They repeatedly tried to convince me something else and argued back and forth with me for five minutes without taking me seriously! Unfortunately, they then treated us rudely; the employees don't have a very friendly customer service approach. Unfortunately, they always make mistakes, or they tell you at the last minute at the checkout that they don't have items that were previously included in your order.

Long waiting times at the drive-in

The food never arrives as ordered; either something is missing and you get an incomplete order at full price, or there's something on it that you didn't order, like a cucumber, etc. The food is often cold. It once had to be remade four times, and so on; I complain a lot. Absolutely not recommended; better to go to the competition.

The food quality is McDonald's standard. Unfortunately, I've repeatedly had the problem that my order (to go) wasn't complete. When I wanted to check, the friendly employee told me I didn't have to, because everything was there. NO, IT WASN'T! This happened several times, and unfortunately, I only realized at home that something was missing again. Please check your orders!!!

We waited a total of over 20 minutes – which would be understandable given the busyness of the place, if at least everything was perfect afterward. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case. We were told the apple turnovers had to be freshly prepared and we could either wait another 6 minutes or choose a different one – no problem, we waited. However, this delay meant the rest of the food was cold, which significantly dampened our appetite. Even worse: two Samurai Burgers were completely missing. This simply shouldn't happen – especially after such a long wait. I tried to complain by phone, but no one answers the phone. No return call, no availability – that's truly disappointing and not good customer service. We definitely won't be coming back.

That was my worst experience at MC Doof, it's sub-standard. Minus stars 🌟 would be appropriate. I've never stood in an MC Drive-In for so long before receiving disgusting, COLD food! I was there for the first time this evening and it's never been so disgustingly bad again. You can absolutely avoid this MC D!

Fries were missing, wrong drinks, salad was missing from a burger

What I don't understand is that I take reusable cups and get a disposable lid but I pay 2 euros for it, while in Friedrichshafen you get a reusable lid and the fries are not crispy but completely soggy and not just today, the last 2 times I was there it was the same and they weren't even really hot either

Dirty, no tables were cleaned (inside or out). Outside, the entire floor was covered in food scraps and, accordingly, a lot of wasps. The tray return containers were completely full, and no one bothered to empty them. The restroom smelled strongly of urine.

Just got food, half was missing and the toy is a pity

Was there 4 times to drink grimaceshake and not once was it there but otherwise it's okay, you just have to check if they packed everything because sometimes they forget something

My order was taken incorrectly (bacon was missing), and when I politely asked the server about it, they simply told me I'd ordered the wrong thing and didn't give me a replacement. It would have been enough to receive the missing bacon separately. Also, the burgers were cold. Hence only one star. What a shame! ☹️

3 of 4 self-service machines out of order, toilets, well, no toilet paper is crap... My order wasn't complete either, and with over 30 degrees outside, there were only seats for 8 people at two tables, and the rest were chained to the wall... Small things that will surely be fixed quickly :)

The food was freshly prepared and truly delicious. The restaurant was clean, but could be improved. One minor drawback is that there was no table service and the plastic bar for the table number was unfortunately missing. Perhaps it was intentionally removed due to a lack of staff.

At lunch today: There was no sweet and sour sauce, no curry sauce, no McWrap advertised, only six of the nine chicken nuggets I ordered (I paid for nine), and the dessert I wanted (a McSundae) wasn't there either! Why would anyone still go to McDonald's?

It may have been due to a lack of staff at lunchtime, but the tables were dirty, the floor was littered with food scraps, and the smell of the restroom was noticeable all the way to the back entrance. By the way, you won't find any soap there.

Incredibly friendly service, very attentive staff, and we've rarely had such freshly prepared burgers at McDonald's as we did here. We'd love to come back 😊

Everything was fine, but near the children's playground there are square tables, which is dangerous because children run around and our child hit his eye on the corner of the table, thank God, everything ended with a bruise.

Unfortunately, this was one of the less pleasant McDonald's experiences. The restrooms were unpleasantly dirty. The soap dispenser looked like it was about to fall off. The kitchen appliances were beeping and beeping unbearably loudly. There were no more waiters for table service.

Everything was good, only the staff was unprofessional. A young employee was so loud with his friends that I wanted to leave the restaurant.

We've been visiting for a few years now, but lately the tables and floors have been dirty and the toilets aren't working at all. My kids and I are very disappointed, and because of the crowds, there aren't any.

This branch is truly terrible. I tried the food again today after a long time, and it was a disaster again. The fries were cold and not crispy, and the burger was also cold. I ordered takeout, and everything was just smashed into a bag with no napkins included. Where is a responsible branch manager here who cares about how the employees do their jobs? NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

When I first entered the store, two terminals were broken. Since I had to go anyway, I went to the restroom. Unfortunately, there's no soap, and the employee couldn't refill it because he didn't have any. Unfortunately, I like to eat my food with clean hands. So, I won't be eating anything here.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a good one. At the drive-thru, there were repeated communication problems when ordering, which led to errors – among other things, my drink wasn't initially handed over, even though it was correctly stated on the bill. This was only resolved after a lengthy discussion. Overall, the process was very disorganized and annoying. I think drive-thru employees should be linguistically proficient enough to take clear orders without misunderstandings – this is essential, especially in a fast-paced system like McDonald's. Perhaps a different location would be more suitable for certain employees if such problems occur frequently.

So far the worst thing I have eaten comes from this place

The workers don't understand German!!! And they're very rude!!!!!!

This employee with the bleached hair simply closed her umbrella when it started to rain, what is this boy and on top of that they gave the nuggets with meat even though MC was ordered

It's just disgusting when I walk into the store and see the employees joking around. It's all good, but then they mess up my food, not good. Just a job slip and a burger bag. I got fries and a glass but not my wrap. Then I call five times and no one answers. Just 🤮

The service was a disaster. The blonde woman serving was extremely rude. She should definitely change careers. We'll never come back.

The struggling franchisee should perhaps start paying decent wages. 40 minutes wait for a meal pre-ordered via the app! One employee is standing around disoriented, the other is moving in slow motion, the kitchen is laughing at the people in front and one of them is messing around at the drive-in counter. Nobody wants to work at all. 20 cars in line outside, full inside. A disgrace for any quick test provider. Half of the food was missing and the drinking was completely missing. Dear God...

This was the friendliest McDonald staff ever. They immediately sweetened my morning. The gastronomy system is completely different. Big praise for the incredibly nice service at the drive in. I was served by Mr. Reismann and Mrs. Pigina

This branch of McDonald's is really the least well maintained 🙈 the toilet is dirty, simply very unhygienic. The floor and tables also dirty.

This McDonald's was really an experience! The staff were extremely friendly, every child received a balloon and something to paint. We were asked several times at the table if we needed anything else, even when we laid out our huge game board, we were graciously accepted and asked about scores :)

Very hygienic! The cups have been added to the other cups being distributed! Service is not very friendly. The burger flew down to the employee, whereupon he put it back in the burger. That's not possible! Please replace the late shift employees!

Was there for dinner this evening and since I paid in cash I was given a number. Since it was busy at 6:30 p.m., I had to wait a bit and watched an employee bring the food to the customers, in between cleaning the tables and putting away the full tablets. He did it with so much joy and passion... he also brought me the food and I gave him a small tip and he was very happy about it. I was also happy about so much commitment and I think you should always give a small fee for table service; This is not a given and once again a big thank you to the great employee.

Good food but we got the wrong one

If you as a guest order ice cream at 10:30 p.m., you will be told that the machine needs to be cleaned. Then why isn't it done???

If I could I wouldn't even give it one star. I've been there several times and unfortunately always had the same experiences. I ordered a Doubel Royal cheese as a menu. Plus 2 cheeseburgers. I checked the bag after receiving it... First of all, there were 15 bags of mayo in there... What should I do with it? Well the rest was fine until I got home. Even though the cheese corner on the packaging of the Doubel Royal was dented, I got a TS. Thanks, I'm allergic to tomatoes so I had to dispose of the burger. Thanks for that. The cheeseburgers were both missing cucumber. The second cheeseburger only had mustard and no ketchup on it. The fries..... yes they waved at the salt from afar but they were never in contact with it..... grottoes bad this shop. Better go to Subway opposite. It's better in length.

If I could give minus stars I would do so... You will be disappointed there every time. You order there for a lot of money and you don't even get close to what you ordered, which is a real shame. The employees are distracted and unfocused. Instead of double royal cheese you get a hamburger instead of a normal light cola... Never again !!!!!

Too hard and dry for Filet o Fish. Not enough caramel in ice cream. Curly frise has too many fries in it. Café at home is better, but performance is inadequate for this money.

It's a shame that things often go wrong in this branch. The waiting times are often long, products are missing or you get the wrong thing in the bag. Although the staff is usually friendly (although not always), they often seem unfocused. The inside of the branch is modern and OK, but I don't like going to the McDrive counter these days. Unfortunately, you don't always get fresh burgers, but that's a fundamental problem. Sometimes like this; sometimes like that.

I'm torn. Because our order was processed incorrectly, we "just like that" had 1x small fries, 1x medium Sprite and 1x large Cola delivered to the table. In this respect, service 5 stars. But there were also the wrong nuggets (which we were able to exchange with the semi-friendly service), so only 4 stars. In the end, we have now benefited, it could have been the other way around for someone else. Otherwise, you know classic McDonalds. But the ice cream machine worked, so service is 5 stars again :)

Were there with children for a children's birthday party. Of course we ordered several Happy Meals which were delivered quite quickly. However, all 6 were missing drinks and fruit. The things were then handed over to us without any problems. At the time we were there it was extremely crowded, which was a bit annoying since the branch is unfortunately rather small The least positive thing about everything is the parking lot. Also rather small and divided.

Well… Not the worst and not the best McDonalds of my life. But you won't find fast in fast food here. In addition, the background noise is incredibly loud. If the devices beep, you just let them beep, which is incredibly annoying. Cleanliness was ok. The queues were extremely long, but even then the staff weren't really on their toes. The visit left me more stressed than relaxed and I was happy to be able to leave.

Who would have thought it was a McDonalds! Actually everything is the same as always, quality is good. The only thing that annoys me is that there haven't been any milkshakes for about 2 years now, always with a different reason. It's my dream combo: big mac, fries and a chocolate shake.

We were there last night and ordered plant base nuggets. Unfortunately, it turned out that there were also normal nuggets among them. Very disappointing!!!

Especially here at Mc D. With my children having their food brought to the table, one of my kids spilled my cola. When asked for a cloth to wipe the table, the employee reacted very unfriendly and annoyed, but she then wiped the table. Unfortunately I didn't get a new drink or a friendly "that doesn't matter" or anything like that. So I sat in the restaurant on dry land at what felt like 30C and no, I didn't buy a new one - I come from the catering industry myself, I also worked in system catering for many years and have never experienced such poor and unfriendly service. When asked about the toys for the kids, a stupid answer - there is only that!!!!! It's a shame, even system catering can do things differently!

Very dirty. 8 employees, but it was not possible to open another station. Instead there were three of us at a checkout because there was probably a bigger problem that couldn't be solved. That's why I can't say anything about the food because we left after 20 minutes without eating.

Bring something to eat and drink, it takes longer with the mcdrive than a water birth

I am really very disappointed with this McDonalds. We had breakfast yesterday and ordered and paid for 12 mini pancakes with chocolate sauce, we were told they didn't have any and we only got 2 cups of chocolate sauce, no alternative, we didn't get the money back either. The hot chocolate was simply slapped onto the tray without any effort, no spoon, no saucer. The entire rim of the cup was dirty with chocolate splatters from the machine which didn't look appealing. Instead of a butter crosiant that was ordered, a sunken Franzbrötchen was simply placed on the tray without a plate. That was really very disgraceful. If I could I would give zero stars. We would have expected much more for the price. This has never happened to us in other branches.

We had a slightly larger order of €37.40. Including McFlary. Well, the ice cream was missing. We were already too far away when we noticed it. That was over €4. This is more than just annoying!

Small and cute, I also found it extremely interesting when entering Mc Drive and yet well thought out so that there were no traffic jams. Great food, courteous employee who asked at the counter whether the drinks should be with or without ice cubes. Really a nice experience. Thank you for that.

Half of the things were grayed out, there was almost nothing you could order. I've never experienced anything like that! There's not even soap in the toilet! It doesn't even have a soap dispenser on the wall! Brutally. Underground!

Absolute schlimm, halbe stunde auf einen mc sunday gewartet, nach einer halben stunde einen saueren joghurt mc sunday bekommen (normalerweise mit vanille eis) und das eis war fast geschmolzen
