McDonald's in Hartheim am Rhein

We were there after 10pm and it was super clean. The hamburgers and fries are hot. The management always ensured clean tables. Toilet also clean.

We waited for our food for over an hour. During this time, I tried several times to find out what was happening with our order - to no avail. Complete lack of communication skills from the staff.

I waited an hour for my order to be canceled

The service was more than terrible. How can one wait 71 minutes for their order. The order was finally received after reapeted asking to the employee at the counter, the same happened to at least 30 other people that came with us although new orders were taken and realised.

Extremely rude staff! Is completely overwhelmed at the food distribution.

Wow - I have rarely experienced such unfriendly service. That was the third time that I was annoyed by the behavior of the employees there - at ins. 3 visit... This time I couldn't even get rid of my order...

A big disappointment. Worst Mcdonalds I've ever seen. Terrible service from a dark-haired girl. The order took a long time and he was mocking. The place was so dirty that I took the package to eat elsewhere. I won't be back.

It took them over 17 minutes to bring our food to then find out both cutlery for the salad and napkins were missing. The screen for kids was not working

Nice and hardworking staff. However, the restaurant urgently needs to be rebuilt to cope with the rush that is always there. Too few toilets, too few tables. Cleanliness falls by the wayside and you are just stressed.

This was by far the worst Mcdonalds I’ve visited. We ordered cheeseburgers, fries and coffee. The cheeseburgers were messy, fries were cold and felt like gum - definitely not what you’d expect from McDonald’s. The restaurant itself was in poor condition, with trash scattered all over the place. There was no hand soap in the restroom and the hand dryer wasn’t working. Overall, this location was a huge letdown.

A nice clean and welcoming place

We were at the drive in today around 2:45 p.m. Our order was received very friendly. We had a nice short conversation when paying. The food was well packaged, even the fries stayed in their bags. It was warm and fresh. A happy new year was also wished... what more could you want ☺️ Thank you

Off rush hour: 20+mins of waiting for 2 meals - arrived cold (people ordered after us waited 30+ mins). After we have decided to order coffee to go - 25 mins of waiting. Some processes seems to be broken…if you can skip this station - better do - or count with a delay

I can understand the previous ratings, especially regarding missing items after ordering: Ordered around 2045, food received around 2055. Dessert was missing (apple turnover), but will be served in two minutes. Left at 2105, without dessert. Poor performance. Luckily it was just a prize from a competition. If I had paid for dessert, I would be mad right now.

I never liked McDonalds. We were there to drink coffee and I have to say I need to change my perspective. The chain is starting to make efforts to no longer produce as much waste as before. We were therefore able to drink our coffees with porcelain cups. I prefer that, plus it produces less waste. The service is great. I removed one star because the breakfast choice is still North American with a lot of fat. For WiFi: you have to connect with the Deutsche Telekom network and naturally it didn't work. So an improvement, but I will only go there for a coffee break.

Help, what is that? Completely misorganized. Staff is having fun, but nothing else is going on. Never heard of hygiene. If we hadn't gotten it to go I would have gone back to complain. Nuggets were dry and cold. Absolute impudence

Fries cold and wobbly, burger patty burnt and far too few order columns. You wait in line for a long time. One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

Always long waiting times. Immediately after ordering, your number will be displayed for collection. Unfortunately, you still have to wait a while. I suspect they are trying to trick the system to show someone at the Indian headquarters (facts) how quickly they serve customers.

It was nothing but slow and dirty

What bothers me is that, despite supposedly checking, toilet paper was missing from the men's toilet. In the meantime, the quality of the toilet has improved and, as a disabled person, I was helped to get to the toilet.

Mr. Bartłomiej is most kindest and helpful person. I haven’t met better service in MCDonald’s then his.

Good and fast service, clean and nice

I accidentally left my wallet behind. An honest visitor had kindly handed it over to the cashier. Many thanks to the honest finder and the friendly local staff!

Very unfriendly staff only opens at 7:04 instead of 7 and only because I called. Then I asked very nicely if they only had breakfast and all 3 employees coldly ignored me.

Tables dirty, during my stay of over 45 minutes 2 tables were dirty. None of the tables were cleaned during this time. There was enough staff, the restaurant was visited by about 10 people.

As expected, food & service were 100% and great (hence the 2 stars). HOWEVER: the background noise from the kitchen equipment was horrible. Ongoing beeping from various sources made me nauseous. Do not know how staff manage! Also, only 2 small toilet stalls at a big McDonalds at a busy Autobahn rest stop and no self cleaning toilet rings or disinfectants in the stalls? Result was terrible. Stop somewhere else.

Only 9 guests in the restaurant. And the staff doesn't have time to clean! Tables dirty. Seat cushion dirty! There are fries under free tables. Even during table service, leftover food on the tables is ignored. I then left this branch again without eating!

McDonald's should check the toilets more often during busy times! No soap or toilet paper available 😏 When I told the staff, I only received a tired smile.

First time I've tried to give a rating to a McDonald's but here I had to, it's such a shame! The toilets are dirty and puked, an infection. The restaurant room is disgusting, you drag sauce under your shoes. No more towels in the only dispenser. No more toys for happy meals, More than books in German, still ok but not great. In summary when returning from Europapark we will avoid this McDonald's for sure and I recommend that you do the same.

The women's toilet can only be used if you fight your gag reflex after entering. She was in such a state that after washing my hands, I wiped the soles of my shoes with damp toilet paper before going out. Otherwise it would be too disgusting for me to get into the car.

I ordered a bacon scrambled egg wrap for breakfast and a colleague ordered a scrambled egg cheese wrap. His wrap was lukewarm and mine wasn't even warm, or at refrigerator temperature in places. Furthermore, both wraps were simply swapped and I ate his while wondering where the bacon was. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Conclusion: Given the high prices for such meals, I would be happy about the real food and preferably warm. 2 stars for the food because it was still okay.

McDonald's on the highway. Always busy so waiting times are slightly longer. In return you always get freshly prepared food. The staff really tries hard at peak times. Despite the many visitors, it is always clean.

It's a McDonald's. In Germany. You will find exactly what you expect to find here.

Not even the order is issued correctly in the drive in. We ordered 20 box nuggets and a happy mal and a Bigmac.. We got some veggie stuff! You have great staff... Just say a motto for yourself, Harz4 and the day is yours

Food was good. Drinks had no taste? I hope the syrup was accidentally empty. If you look at it positively, it was the first cola without any sugar.

Everything is disgustingly dirty, the tables are dirty, you could barely eat because of the flies, I don't even think what could have gone into the kitchen... I heard that the staff spoke Hungarian, so when they brought it out, I politely thanked them in Hungarian, and then they threw the tray there and left... I couldn't believe the toilet! It was so disgusting that an abandoned highway toilet is cleaner than this! It's a shame that this...

One star is too much management there. She has no idea what she's doing. The bus no longer stops there for all my colleagues. When the bus goes there isn't even a cafe. The woman there is incredible. Her life has left her starving 😄

Well, somehow McDonald's is slowing down pretty much everywhere, but this one is even faster.

Unfortunately an absolute disaster. At 4:20 p.m., so not a real rush hour and still completely dirty, overwhelmed and impossible staff. The women's toilet only consisted of a functioning toilet and a huge queue in front of it. Even at the end of 2019, orders were only accepted at the checkout and it took forever. All employees present were completely overwhelmed by the simplest processes and they even argued loudly in front of the customers. Because we had to wait forever, we got back in the car and placed the order at MC Drive. Two Mc Chicken Classic, one cold and one, that's no exaggeration, could really have been from the day before. Cold, some of the bread was completely hard from keeping it warm, the salad was brownish and the taste of the meat was disgusting. At the MC Nuggets we ordered the sauce twice, were then asked for it again at the counter and it was still forgotten. The fries were soggy, not completely fried and cold. We won't be going to McDonald's again for a long time...

Outdoor area extremely dirty and only broken chairs. I've never seen anything like that. Toilets without toilet paper and dirty 😵‍💫

The food was prepared quickly and well. But everything else was a disaster. Most of the tables were dirty. The music inside was way too loud. Many outdoor chairs are simply broken and worn out.

The staff is hardworking, fast and very kind. What can McDonald's do if customers are not respectful? It is impossible to clean the toilets, shelves, floors, tables and trash cans after each customer has passed. It's not the staff who leave trash and don't use the brush. 50 minutes of waiting is hard to believe if customers are unable to use the McDonald's applications 10 minutes before being there or to use the ordering machine. The employees are still there. McOnald's is open from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. I am very happy that young people take on the work with both hands and serve me my order with a smile. The toilets were flooded with piss and there were flies everywhere. The food came relatively quickly but only in very small portions. I had a McFlurry that had maybe the equivalent of 2 scoops of ice cream in it and the large fries were slightly larger than the medium fries. There were no problems leaving the restaurant.

If you ended up here, you are probably one of the thousands of people who travel from southern Europe to north. You must be tired, exhausted, hungry. Your teenage kid is bored and asking you to turn down your radio so they can listen to their own music or TikTok. Mc Donald’s is your friend, feeder, mother and father. No need to mention the food, it is McDonald’s. Stuff is friendly, toilets are surprisingly clean, despite the crowd. Enough parking space. Air condition is excellent . Enough sockets for your phone charger. Have a meal, have a coffee and continue your trip.

To date the dirtiest McDonald's we have been to. Dirty toilets, two cockroaches and flying blowflies didn't make for much of an appetite...

I can only agree with the last reviews! We always stop here when passing through. It was always full and I think the team was always at their limit. The problem now is that the team is no longer working efficiently. Was there a change of operator? Everyone overwhelmed, dirty. Forgot all the sauces and parts of the menu. The same debacle happened at the next table. The employee who was cashing out had to run back to ask the manager something every time there was a cashier. That's exactly how it seemed: none of the employees were trained, neither on an individual basis nor as a team. No wonder nothing works anymore.

Order quite incorrect. Among other things, I ordered a McFlurry chocolate with Oreo and chocolate sauce. Oreos and sauce were completely missing. Burgers were wrong too. Chickenburgers, cheeseburgers and double cheeseburgers were ordered. Instead of a chicken burger there was a hamburger that wasn't ordered. But of course paid. Unfortunately seen too late.

While we were passing through, everyone was hungry and stopped here. If I hadn't been so tired I would have read the review beforehand then we would have saved ourselves. The food came quickly but the burger wasn't even lukewarm and sticky. The fries were cold and my cappuccino tasted a bit like cleaner afterward. I couldn't drink it. It was disgusting For the first time even my children were disgusted that they didn't even eat it. Sin... It's really an impudence... my children even felt sick afterwards. I don't think you need to say much about the toilets, just speechless.

Autobahn -McD, clean and tidy as it should be.

One of the worst Mc'Donalds I've ever visited, apart from the food being incorrectly prepared, I feel very sorry for the staff who come from the south. They are shouted at and humiliated in front of customers. Unfortunately, they are not treated humanely and I don't support that and I don't tolerate it! And this is definitely reported among all people, something like that wouldn't work at all!!!!

The food is below the usual McDonalds standard. The burgers were not made properly, nuggets were not fried properly, etc. But the underground cleanliness is much worse! Everything is dirty, the floor is sticky, flies everywhere… absolutely not recommended!

Ordered and paid for food online, waited 50 minutes, ended up leaving without food minus €10.

If I could give a worse rating, I would do exactly that. I waited 50 minutes for my food even though it was only a small order and then it wasn't even complete. Simply not recommended. Employees were overwhelmed with every little thing and the food that was available wasn't tasty either!

At 9 p.m. all the tables were very dirty, as were the seats of the chairs and benches. The fries were in no way up to McDonalds standards, they were really bad. The only bright spot was the hamburger, which was good.
