No toys with the Happy Meal, still-carbonated Coke, but after a complaint, warm Coke from a bottle, fries only half-filled, undercooked, and not salted... not the first time the quality hasn't met McDonald's usual standards. Generally, the place only runs when quality control is present! Truly admirable how things like this keep slipping through. 👌🏼

Today I was at McDonald's drive-thru with my two small children - unfortunately another very unpleasant experience with a certain employee. The lady is slim, short, has dark red hair in a braid, wears glasses and has noticed me several times because of her rude behavior. This time it was particularly disrespectful: When I was standing at the serving window and couldn't accept the food quickly enough (because I was in the car with two children), she literally threw the bags into my vehicle. When I politely asked what menus were currently available - because the display board outside was broken - I only received an annoyed "Can't you read?" replied. After I received the food, I wanted to quickly check, as usual, whether everything was complete - as it had happened several times in the past that something was missing. She then said in a harsh tone that I should finally drive away; after all, others would also wait. I was only at the window for a total of a few seconds. I have also asked for your name several times so that I can pass on my feedback directly. Every time I was told she didn't have to tell me her name. Such behavior is completely inappropriate for a family restaurant like McDonald’s. I hope that such feedback is handled responsibly so that the service becomes friendlier and more customer-oriented again in the future.

Very bad. We have ordered several times from McDrive, on site or via the app - and something was often missing. The employees are also unfriendly. My kids often send me to McDonald’s when they see a fun toy on the menu. But most of the time we don't get the toy they want - even though we have already selected it from the machine. Once we didn't even get any toys at McDrive.

You can say this is the worst McDonald's in Germany. It's been renovated, but it's still not great. I've been amazed for a long time that the company isn't even slowly giving in and replacing both employees and management. Just keep driving. Even the ready-made sandwich from the gas station is better than eating here!

Always too few staff, almost never table service. Frequent card reader failures.

This is one of those McDonald's branches where you ALWAYS have to check immediately whether everything is there and also whether the things that are there correspond to the order, especially if you get the things via McDrive. There have been a few times when things were completely missing or something was wrong.

Truly the most incompetent people on the planet - just wow!

I ordered food today around 6 p.m. via the app and paid directly and selected delivery at the table, received payment confirmation and order confirmation directly. After half an hour we didn't get any food, then we asked at the front where the food was, the lady looked and didn't find an order, then just said she didn't get any and couldn't do anything. Then he just left us there because we didn't pay for anything. Neither the money back nor the food at all. NEVER GO TO MCS AGAIN!!! Not recommended!!!!

We ordered two menus via the app at 6 p.m. and immediately received the order confirmation and payment confirmation. After 40 minutes we went to the counter where we were told that they hadn't received an order. We didn't get the food or the money back, even though we could prove that we had paid for the food. We were simply pushed aside and told that there was nothing they could do about it. So I went back home angry and hungry... never again to the Mc Donalds inholtensen!

Probably the worst McDonald's ever! First of all, they don't get anything done in the drive. Canceled 6 times because you didn't understand anything. Also super unfriendly. So overall I wouldn't even give it one star. Not recommended! Not at all!

We pulled up on MC Drive and ordered three small fries for our little companions in the back seat of the car. It was really difficult to communicate with the employee, especially with such a simple order. When we received the paper bag it was already suspiciously light. When I saw how sparsely filled these bags were, which I handed out to the children, I really had to pull myself together. There were about 15 pale fries in each bag. You could easily have poured the contents of three bags into one. When I got home, I called and complained to an employee, without the children noticing. The answer I received was that they don't care about customer satisfaction.

I've been there several times and every time I order my Filet o Fish I get double cheese, either no cheese at all or just a slice of cheese on it. Reading would be an advantage, I say. That's exactly how I order my burgers without pickles, the pickles are always on them. People, you depend on us. Friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired

Unfriendly, terrible staff who seem to think they are better than that. Getting a derogatory, disrespectful answer to a normal question is the very last thing. Sorry bro, if you're not keen on your job maybe you should have learned something decent. Impossible

Used to be a good village McDonald's. Now total crash. I would like to experience at McDonalds that: - nothing is missing from my order, - my extra request (no onion, etc.) is fulfilled as I stated, - Fast food comes quickly (waiting 18 minutes for the menu is not “fast”) - the burgers look at least somewhat like the picture, - the burgers are warm, - the tables will be cleaned in the meantime. McDonalds offers all of this - then please fulfill it. It's not much to ask. All ordered products are listed individually on the slip - just read them and implement them. System catering is not evident here.

We're not frequent McDonald's goers, but I've never experienced anything like that, there were no drinks at all, Alternatively we were offered shakes or ice cream. We didn't want either because we were full from the food we ordered. We had ordered our food and drinks at the MCD kiosk and paid with a card, Sprite was available, but when we picked up our order it said there were no more drinks, very poorly arranged, as already mentioned we were only offered shakes or ice cream as an alternative, apart from the fact that not everyone likes shakes or ice cream, there are also people who have a lactose allergy. When I asked whether we could get a voucher instead, the answer was not flexible: no, that's not possible. When I objected that we had paid almost €10 for drinks that we didn't receive, I was told that shakes would be more expensive than drinks.

I had dinner with another person in your MC Donalds in Wennigsen / Holtensen this evening and what I experienced there was the last straw. I've never come across such a mess when I was there. branch prayed. Leftover food all over the floor and on tables. The staff seemed helpless. When I wanted to order at the terminal, the next disaster. Half the card is simply not selectable. We know that the ice cream machine doesn't work in many cases, but the fact that you can't even choose chicken nuggets was a new dimension for me. So ordered what could be ordered. Then the next shock came at the pick-up counter: there were no usual drinks, only bottles of cola that were so warm that you couldn't enjoy them, warm, without carbon dioxide and the taste was really bad. The burgers that were ordered were not edible; they contained components that I have never seen on a cheeseburger or chicken burger. In addition, we were foisted with a fourth double cheeseburger that had apparently been lying there since 8:40 p.m. according to the label. We were only in the restaurant after 10 p.m., which is proven by the receipt attached. The burgers were hard, inedible and dry. The visit to the toilet was the icing on the cake - the toilet bowl was dirty and full of feces. The visit to their shop was the last one I spent there. The staff is unfriendly and doesn't explain why everything is the way it is. Don't tell me that the wrong components are on the burgers. A catastrophic visit that I also paid dearly for! Around 29 euros.

I got a Happy Meal on Monday, the fries were totally soggy. And I think it's a shame that when you ask, you can't find out whether a particular toy is available.

Addendum: A day later we were there again to discuss things and possibly get the collectible figures for the children. A very friendly lady listened to us very understandingly and worked with us to find a satisfactory solution. Thank you very much for this. Original review: A total service failure, one of the three menus ordered was packed and handed out, the other two were packed together after a request and a small discussion, half of which were forgotten. Here too, further inquiries were necessary. Drinks were completely forgotten and then filled in the wrong size. Toys and collectible figures for the children were completely swapped (collectible figures with skin codes for Minecraft from the "Premium Menu" for toys from the Happymeal). Unfortunately we only noticed this and the wrong burger when we got home. The fatal thing was that the burger was ordered in classic style and was delivered in spicy so that it was not edible for the person. Unfortunately, a presumably senior employee who intervened and tried to mediate didn't know what it was about. There is a need for training at all ends, system catering gets its name from systems that are supposed to ensure a coordinated and efficient process. Unfortunately, nothing was noticeable or recognizable.

The meat in the sandwiches was dry. The fries were fried and the small cola was served in a medium sized cola glass.

The worst McDonald's I've ever eaten in the whole world, greasy and soggy burgers, the sauce I ordered was gone and the staff didn't even offer me a replacement, I absolutely do not recommend ever going here. It changed my view of the German McDonald's, which I really love.

Great job. I'm 2 burgers, 1 drink and fries in just under 30 minutes. Burgers almost cold and carelessly slapped together. Fries soggy. Staff overwhelmed.

We shopped today for €40. Two things were missing at home!! After speaking to the trainee manager over the phone, we are obliged to check all the bags. So our tip is to unpack and check everything. Mistakes happening all the time at the expense of customers sounds like massive fraud to me!

So more or less recommended... After several visits there... Drive in... Always missing this or that... It's a real shame... Because there wasn't much going on in most cases. Too bad...

Handy for those who don't feel like cooking!!

The best thing to do is just drive past and stop at the nearest McDonald's. We ordered and paid for a Happy Meal and a McMeal yesterday. It took longer than usual for it to be ready, even though the place wasn't really busy. What was really cheeky, however, was that the water for the Happy Meal was sold out and we were only offered another drink when we asked, and the large Coke was also sold out. They simply brought a small Coke with the meal without any comment. That means I'm paying for something I'm not getting. The same scenario happened at the next table. The potato chips we ordered with the McMeal finally arrived when we were already on our way out. I had only bad experiences here a few years ago and wanted to give the place another chance, but no thanks!

Just renovated, so the ambience is not bad. That's it. The order was ready to be picked up, but at the counter it just said “not ready yet”. All right. Finally got food, but not the right one. Exactly half of the 20 chicken nuggets were actually PlantNuggets, the patty in the McPlant was rock hard and the McChicken was soggy and squashed. Cardboard probably would have tasted better. You don't expect gourmet food from fast food, but it really wasn't edible. Never come here again!

Unfortunately, every now and then a burger is missing or there is something wrong in the bag. Last time the burgers weren't even made correctly (ingredients were missing) and the fries were almost raw. Worst branch I've ever been to.

Unfortunately I can't say much positive things here. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired... the toilets are dirty, smell like urine and you don't want to touch the door handles because you have to be afraid of getting all the viral diseases and bacterial strains at the same time, that shouldn't be the case in a fast food restaurant either. The food was ok although some of the burgers were cold.

Everything clean. The food was no longer warm. Fries soft and almost lukewarm. Employees were probably annoyed. Kindness is different. Don't come back again.

McDonald's Simply absolute rubbish, my parents wanted to order something at the MC Drive-in on Thursday February 26th, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. They waited at least 10 minutes to order something, no one even came to take the order, there were enough employees walking around there, even someone with a headset, unfortunately none was done. My parents lifted again but no one came to the window. They then drove away.

The fact that this branch has 2.8 stars is already too high. We wanted to order something at Mc Drive today and accidentally gave the wrong code. The absolutely unfriendly lady at the other end then said very rudely that she couldn't delete it and that we HAD to take the order now! After all, it's our fault. The first branch that can't do it. I went to this McDonald's but I was very disappointed because it was very cold in the restaurant and there was a lot of mess under the tables. Many people ate at the tables with their winter jackets on, and children had to eat dressed. I asked a saleswoman there to turn on the heat in the restaurant, but she said she couldn't do this. Always at almost all McDonald's in Germany if I ordered cappuccino with table service they forgot to bring the sugar and condensed milk even though it was specified on the order. Wow, I didn't think fast food could be messed up so much. The fries and nuggets were soaked with oil. Everything wobbly and disgusting. The packaging was soaked in oil in no time. I know a few McDonald’s. My expectations aren't high, but this McDonald's in Holtensen in particular has been underground for YEARS. The quality team should pay an unannounced visit. This is how the name is dragged into the mud. This store is just ungodly.

The citizens were cold, the fries were soggy. It was cold. So from my point of view it's an absolute juice shop as already described in the following reviews. Two out of four people felt nauseous and one even vomited.

Been here for a long time and it was very disappointing. One table was unusable at all because the entire table and floor was full of cola. The toilets were very, very dirty and both could not be used. Not only were the toilet seats dirty, but also the floor and everything around it. The burger was DIY and the fries were anything but crispy. Enough has already been written about staff in other recessions. It is anything but friendly and service oriented.

It's an absolute juice shop 🙄 If you go there specially, only half of the order that you obviously paid for is not packed. It's not the first time this has happened to us there, even if we check after collection to see if everything is correct, but you should still be able to expect a bit of reliability.

The store is completely filthy You only receive orders incompletely or not at all! When you ask where the double cheeseburger you ordered is, you respond with a disrespectful “It was in there!” and you are asked to leave. 4 of the 6 patties of the burger were burnt and therefore inedible!

Bought a large menu in the restaurant with a child on December 5th, 2024. Two nuggets were missing and curly fries were portioned very cheekily (two curls). A few weeks ago the staff was great but on December 5th. (15:30) a disaster! Forgot to give napkins to the guests and the tables weren't clean despite the fact that there were few people there. Ordered 2 menus with fries, burger, drink, 1 x 20 nuggets and 2 apple turnovers to take away. Paid at the terminal even though there was nothing going on, waited 20 minutes for the order. Fries cold and unsalted, nuggets extremely dry and cold, the Monopoli code was missing on the apple turnovers and one of the drinks. If you go there, you have to check your order carefully after it's been handed out before you leave. From now on we'd rather go somewhere else.

You wait at the mcdrive 10 minutes drive up... and was treated very unfriendly even though I should have been the one who was annoyed. Then you order for €20 Everything for the happy meal is provided (squeeze, drink and salad) except the food for the child 🙄 A large fries filled like a small one!!! Next time I'd rather drive longer before I just get annoyed and stupid!!! And the young man probably really wasn't in the mood (there wasn't much going on!!) I placed the order online. And how the workers moved there 🤦‍♀️ in slow motion!!! So if I had worked like that back then in the catering industry I would have flown straight away!!!

I only come because of the proximity, but basically there is always something wrong/missing/not available.. Today I had a Diet Coke that tasted like water, the curly fries were partly raw (in a small instead of a large package) and the Double Choc bag wasn't available, which is why I got the apple bag (which I could have gotten for a euro with a voucher, but had to pay €2.50 for it instead because no one told me..) So yes, always disappointing :/

We wanted to have breakfast at McDonald's on Sunday... The restaurant didn't open at 9:00 a.m. as described on the restaurant, but only at 10:00 a.m. So we waited... Then across the completely dirty parking lot into the restaurant. A bit surprised in the restaurant that there is no breakfast at the ordering terminals. When the entire kitchen was called to ask whether there was no breakfast, there was no response from the employee present. Second attempt with the next employee in the white shirt (restaurant manager?), the same question: Is there no breakfast here? Answer with an annoyed look... Nope. And turns away... We can only recommend everyone to avoid this restaurant. Every km more Hameln/Bad Nenndorf is not too much. Unfortunately, that wasn't our first disaster in this store. Absolutely no longer recommended!

Since the reopening after the closure of the 217, there has probably been a new operator. The staff is inattentive, you usually don't get everything you ordered and when you complain, the staff's standard response is that you didn't order it that way, even though it says exactly what you asked for on the receipt.

Ordering at the checkout was prohibited. Table no. They were not set up at the ordering machines at all, no service despite the high staff. At my time there was also very little public traffic. Other MCD branches offer significantly better service. At least the one at the checkout was also unfriendly.

Placed the order via mobile phone app and showed the code on site. Everything is great until then. When the question came “Eat here or take away” I said take away. Since the McFlurry was there without a lid, I asked if it had a lid. Two employees said it wasn't possible and had to fold in the edges... I won't say anything about that. Since I was hungry and it was late, I made the mistake of driving off to McFlurrygate. At home I discovered that unfortunately 1 burger was missing, the wrong sauce was on the McFlurry and an extra sauce was missing. And here's my question: If you as a customer now have to do everything yourself on your cell phone or at the ordering machine, then the gentlemen in the kitchen just have to read the shit and, if necessary, check it off when something is ready. My son can handle that. What do the employees actually do there? Yes, my mistake for not checking immediately, but the employees should probably be able to do a job that I can do at 3 a.m. while I'm deeply asleep, otherwise they won't be qualified enough for such work (okay, it gets difficult from then on something easier to find)

We were there on Saturday around 7 p.m. 5 adults and two children. The order via the terminal worked, the payment did not. So we paid at the cash register. So no food was brought to the table. After everything was picked up, we started eating, some of which was cold. The children were missing drinks with their Happy Meal. This was hesitantly given out after the complaint at the counter. Products that are no longer available in stores are sold on the self-service devices. Anything can happen, but then they refused to refund us the money; we should take something else for the same money. Only after a long back and forth was a refund possible.

This store is simply impossible. Unfriendly staff, food cold and if you don't check carefully, something is always missing. Ordered twice now via the app and paid with PayPal. Then they first claim that this is not true and then they check it calmly. At some point the food comes and it is either completely wrong or at least one part is missing. None of the machines for ordering worked, the seating area was dirty, the garbage wasn't disposed of and the service was unfriendly. Then it's better not to.

McCrispy - THE discovery. The ordering machines annoy me.

There are rats in the kitchen, the food arrives cold and doesn't look nice either. There are children outside who came out of the slide and threw up everything or simply threw their milkshake down the slide just like sauce. There were fries in my drink and I got a vanilla shake even though I ordered a chocolate milk shake and it was only 0.4l even though I ordered 0.5l

I don't understand why you don't get your coffee in a ceramic cup when you consume it in a restaurant, but in a disposable cup.

It was very busy but our food was ready very quickly. It also tasted good and was hot even though we took it with us.

Since it's a classic McDonalds, I don't need to say anything about the taste, quality and prices. What takes some getting used to, however, is that this branch doesn't offer breakfast or McCafe products. Only simple coffee and a few cookies are available.

Gave the wrong food and then got cheeky

There are staff in front of whom you feel betrayed and also become afraid and ask the police for help and get none. We were really scared.

Employees prefer to greet friends with a handshake instead of serving guests. Zero knowledge, zero competence. 3 out of 4 order terminals didn't work. There's a line in front of the checkout, but instead of opening another one, the employees prefer to stare into space. An employee chewed gum with her mouth open over her food. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!

Bad staff, Waited 27 minutes for the food. Food was cold when it was finally ready. When I ordered 20 nuggets there were only 17 nuggets in it.

Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 items in the food we ordered were only lukewarm and the fries were soggy. No exchange despite complaint. Also forgot napkins. Nevertheless, the staff remained friendly

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

I have never encountered anything as unfriendly as this in any fast food restaurant. I travel all over Germany because some friends and relatives are simply far away. Yesterday evening we were here at McDonald's Holtensen because it was getting very late. Yesterday I had a very unfriendly lady who answered rudely when I asked for a table display. A stressed and tone-deaf answer: “We won’t!”. How it works then, because I didn't know, was answered but in a tone... Impossible. In the next shift the standees were back... Restaurant almost empty with only 6 people. This morning another lady: No "good morning" and I had to slow her down to find out, "There's no breakfast here!!!" She was gone. We then looked for a bakery. Restaurant occupied by 4 guests. Nothing more and still something like that. As someone unfamiliar with the area who has just arrived at the hotel with inconvenient stay times, this would normally be a good place to start until you know your way around. We are looking for other alternatives to eat for the next trip here. It doesn't work at all!!!

I was here for the last time yesterday. Out of 5 DriveIn times, the product is defective 2 times. Yesterday: Unfortunately, the team is completely overwhelmed. My menu from the app could not be found again. Instead of 11.99 I suddenly had to pay 17.49. As I said, that wasn't the first time. Further experiences: There is often a lack of carbon dioxide in the drink (system defective), something is missing from the order or the food is simply cold. Despite all the deficits, the staff still remains nice.

The worst McDonald's I know. The last time we got cold and soggy food, we ordered it in the drive-thru. Ate in the restaurant today. Wasp infestation in the restaurant, my partner ordered via the app and apparently the employee didn't know their own service, at least he was rude to us when he brought our food to the table. Just ordered for pickup... Order number was TB41 - 2x 6 nuggets were ordered and paid for in the order. When the McDonald's employee handed it over, I asked if everything was there... When I got home, 1 x 6-piece nugget was missing. I would love to get the three euros back for the nuggets that were not given! Always check your bags... Happens very often... This is how you can make money 🙄……
