Very tasty, varied selection, service great.

So where to start 🤷🏻‍♀️ Arrive and we are on the verge of letting ourselves be seated alone... the drinks to our great surprise €6 for 1 liter of water... because there is no carfe of water the buffet which leaves more than desired (cold, very little choice whether it is a hot meal there are not even spring rolls and the dessert is the same no choice. it does not give at all want to eat and to top it off a little surprise in the shrimp chips (thanks for the hair) I advise you to run away rather than try it otherwise the decor and nice 🤣.

They came to ask me to pay right after I sat down and while I was eating :)) I guess they we're afraid that I was going for a run after or idk but very unprofessional

The service staff were not particularly friendly to the customers and then begged for a tip when paying, the food was all very unappetizing and not everything was fresh, for example the breading of the chicken was transparent and oversalted, as was the peanut sauce. The inside area is too small for as many guests as there were and you could hardly talk to the people you were there with. You could have just as easily gone to the Asian store in Kaufland and it would have felt the same. I therefore find the price of €33.90 unreasonable

The food itself was okay, but I'm not a big fan of Asian cuisine. That's why I chose chicken strips with fries and peanut sauce. The chicken strips were somewhat okay, although a beer breading was used for the chicken, which unfortunately came off the meat. The fries were oversalted and the peanut sauce was just disappointing - it tasted like the cheap peanut butter you find in supermarkets. Another negative point was that the waiters/resses shouted across the store asking for tips, which I found to be very rude and disrespectful. At this point I would rather order something and have it delivered to my home. And the whole thing for 33.90 euros? In my opinion the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. In addition, the signage in the store was poor, you could hardly read the signs and everything was very confusing. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I was looking forward to a delicious buffet with my friends, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The food didn't look very appealing, and many dishes weren't labeled, so you didn't know exactly what you were putting on your plate. Some sauces were extremely salty and barely edible. It was also very crowded at the buffet, so you had to constantly be careful not to accidentally bump into anyone. Another negative point was paying: the waitress basically insisted on a tip. With a bill of €33.90, I gave her €50, whereupon she decided on her own: “€15 change?” – that would have meant that she tipped herself €1.10. I think tipping should remain voluntary and not determined by the service staff. Overall, our visit was unfortunately disappointing and I cannot recommend the restaurant.

For us, this is the best Chinese buffet restaurant in the Ortenau region. The value for money, the selection of dishes, and the friendliness are absolutely top-notch. 👌🏼👌🏼😀😀😋😋

Fast staff when clearing the plates All you can est and drink offer was quite cheap, but unfortunately no wontons and the calamari were really not edible at all. Unfortunately, the spring roll, which was supposed to be perfect, wasn't really convincing. Well, trying it out once was ok, but next time I'll go to another Chinese restaurant

Terribly loud, way too narrow. Some food was inedible. Peanut sauce was terrible, the chocolate from the fountain was disgusting. When I got home I had terrible diarrhea! NEVER AGAIN

Very loud and cramped, some of the food wasn't edible, the tiramisu was completely squished and not appealing, I went home with a stomach ache.

Classic food stamp :-) If you want to fill your stomach at the buffet until you can't eat anymore If you want to eat, this is the right place :-) The prices are the same as other restaurants in this category, the kids have fun here too and the staff is nice + the boss:-) The best thing we find is the grill where you can put the plate of raw meat and everything is freshly grilled. There is always enough choice of different types of meat here ;-)

Unfortunately, when we arrived the food had already been on display for too long. But then it was refilled very quickly and everything was fine.

This is the second time we've eaten there... I guess I forgot how bad it is... and I'm shocked once again. The customer service was a disaster the first time and this time it was even worse... We were watched the whole time doing EVERYTHING... literally forced to drink something and in the end PRESSED into paying despite being told several times that we didn't want to pay yet... The food isn't even mediocre... Sushi is compressed and unpalatable... And sometimes things were so rock hard that I thought I was eating stones... There also seemed to be disputes among the service, which didn't improve the atmosphere... Ultimately it's a clear no-go for us and we won't be coming back... But I definitely think that there are nice people there and some people might like it... Have a nice day :)

The service staff is friendly and hardworking. But that's not the reason why you visit a restaurant like this. On the one hand, there is of course always a little more activity on public holidays. And that's why people line up at the buffet. So the room is far too small in relation to the selection of the buffet! People almost stand on each other's feet. For food...buffet very rich and nicely sorted...BUT!! Some fish and meats are already dry and tough, no longer warm... And with 8 people where you pay just under 30 euros per person including drinks, that simply shouldn't be the case!! The dessert niche...squeezed into the corner, of course due to lack of space. 4 people there at the same time... a real fight. Quantity over quality. This is not good! I can still recommend the restaurant... With some reservations.

They barely have any sushi, and the sushi they have doesnt even taste good. It all tastes very bland.

I've never eaten something so disgusting in my life. I felt sick even when I ate... During the night I felt very sick and had to throw up every 2 hours. I've been lying in bed with pain for over 12 hours now. The health department has already been contacted!

We have been guests at the mayflower for 15 years and that says it all 👏👏👏👏 I celebrated my departure from the company with my colleagues here today and it was just great. Now with me All you can eat All you can drink is one simple thing. Always recommended.

We stopped in here on a Monday at 1:50 p.m. because according to the internet the opening hours were until 3 p.m. However, the times on the internet were not correct, the lunch buffet was cleared at 2.30 p.m., which corresponds to the information in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we were still served a friendly coffee, even though the service time had officially ended. We really appreciated that. We were satisfied with the lunch buffet offering, the drinks and the quality of the food. An address to remember!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good, it was very bland and upset your stomach after a very short time, which is very unfortunate. The service itself is nice but unfortunately rarely there. My bottles were quietly cleared away with contents still in them. I won't come here to eat anymore.

We have been visiting this restaurant regularly for years with our 3 children (2 are now adults) and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, delicious and the staff is excellent - friendly, attentive and always in a good mood. Of particular note are the birthday parties, which are simply fantastic here. The children receive a gift and a song, which always makes their faces smile. The atmosphere is always pleasant thanks to the air conditioning and the cleanliness is exemplary. A place where you feel completely comfortable!

I called and ordered food to pick up. The woman on the phone was super nice and accommodating. He put together a veggie sushi box especially for me and fried fresh sushi. The food was super tasty and I got lots of little extras in my order. Saved my evening, gladly again!

Regarding the pick-up option for ordered food: Repeatedly did not receive the food ordered over the phone. Several times the ordered sauces were NOT received separately as requested, but everything was simply poured into a plastic bowl along with other things (that were not part of the order). You are then presented with an indecipherable “mush”. We pointed this out to Mayflower several times - nothing changed. Furthermore, we have ordered a certain menu several times with the note “please don’t mix in any vegetables”. The request is always accepted on the phone, but this is generally not implemented. And that has happened several times now! The sushi portions are also becoming smaller and less appetizing. You feel like you're getting the last bit (even though we don't order close to closing time). So the quality has also decreased. That was our last order from this restaurant. The order was returned. That was our last complaint and our last visit to Mayflower! So the ordering and pickup service is at least not recommended.

Actually a good Chinese restaurant, we eat here often. But the food from the buffet could be warmer.

The buffet was rich. When we visited at 7 p.m., some of the individual dishes seemed to have been kept warm for a long time, some were lukewarm, and the crispy offerings were unfortunately soggy. The terrace is facing the noisy street. Not a highlight, doesn't have to happen again...

My partner was here for the first time today. Me for the second time. However, at an interval of 6 years. Well, what can I say. The food is still as bad as it was 6 years ago. The second chance was definitely not worth it. I think you save quite a bit for the price. When I look at other restaurants that offer All You Can Eat And Drink, they have more selection of drinks too. These drinks are sooo cheap to buy and then sold for that money. The sushi didn't taste good at all either. Well, we weren't happy at all and can't recommend this restaurant.

We used to like to go here, but after the last visit never again. The food didn't taste good. What I found even worse was that while the food was being set up, the customers were eating and they were first wiping the dust between the clean plates unappetizing.

Solid but rip off! Food is of normal All-U-Can Eat quality, nothing wild, just what you expect. The service is also ok and you also get a small gift on birthdays. BUT It's not acceptable that you have to pay an extra charge of €5 for leftovers left on a plate, such as a small shrimp and some sauce!! (And that's per person!) I've never seen it in any other buffet offer and in my opinion it's just a cheap ploy to add an extra charge. And for the price you pay in the end, I no longer have to worry about the quality there and go out to eat in better restaurants.

Preis Leistung alles fair. Die langjährigen Bedienungen auch sehr freundlich. Total unpassend ist es aber wenn das Personal in jogginghose ständig an der Theke steht und Türsteher spielt, wirklich unangenehme Männer.

Отличный китайский ресторан, типа "Шведский стол". Приятная официантка, еда вкусная, но не сильно много разнообразная. Креветки только один вид, роллы так же не много, морепродукты есть, но которые необходимо готовить, готовой толком нет. В целом на хорошую 4.

Freundliches Personal, super Küche, tolle Spezialitäten von Strauss, Känguru und sogar Krokodil allerdings nur abends wenn der mongolische Grill beim Abendbüfett geöffnet ist.

Habe dort neulich gebratene Nudeln gegessen und die waren so unfassbar ölig, echt schade mit weniger Öl wären sie nicht schlecht gewesen.

Service top, auch sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns aber überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, das Fleisch hat total vergammelt geschmeckt und sah auch garnicht gut aus.. Wir haben darum auch sehr wenig gegessen & uns war danach trotzdem allen schlecht. Schade, wir werden hier nichts mehr bestellen geschweige dort essen gehen.

Wir kommen schon über 10 Jahre hier her und das mehrmals im Jahr. Das Essen schmeckt gut. Hier findet jeder was feines bei der großen Auswahl.

Alles frisch und sehr fein,so viel Auswahl Sushi,Salat roher Fisch und Fleisch wo die Küche einem zubereiten tun, Pommes und Gemüse.Varianten mit verschiedenen Fleisch,und Desserts aus Obst, Kuchen und Eis , einfach alles sehr lecker

Es ist wie erwartet.... alles prima Essen ist auch sehr leccker.

Wir waren heute für ein gemütliches Mittagessen in das Mayflower in Lahr gegangen, nachdem ich es durch Zufall entdeckt hatte. Das Essen ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und vielfältig. Ein Highlight stellt garantiert der mongl. Grill dar. Hierbei können versch. Sorten Fleisch, Meeresfrüchte und Gemüse ausgesucht werden und dann in die Küche geben, wo es direkt für einen gekocht/gegrillt wird. Das Mayflower ist also nur zum Empfehlen, vor allem durch das Buffet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren das 1. Mal dort. Es gab eine riesen Auswahl . Ein Theke war voll mit fertigen Sachen und Gerichten. Und eine Seite war voll mit sushi Salat und vielen Sachen zum frisch grillen. Es gab viele ausgefallene Sachen. Es hat alles total lecker geschmeckt . Am der dessert Theke kam auch jeder auf seine Kosten. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Ich bin hier regelmäßig und gerne. Essen immer Buffet. Die Auswahl ist mehr als überwältigend, auch die Frische ist top. Preisleistung sind unübertreffbar.

Waren um 20 Uhr dort essen. Das Buffet war sehr enttäuschend. Vieles sah nur noch nach Resten aus und wurde nicht aufgefüllt und wenn, dann lieblos reingeklatscht. Das Sushi war zerfleddert und sah nicht appetitlich aus, zumal nicht abgedeckt und durch mangelnde Kühlung, ebenso der Thunfisch, den offenbar auch keiner wollte, der war schon vertrocknet. Das, was man noch essen konnte, war etwas versalzen und geschmacklich wirklich nicht der Hit. Hier wird zu wenig aufgefüllt und nach der Optik geschaut, denn das Auge isst auch mit. Fazit: einmal und nicht wieder!

Impressionnant decors moderne et tres propre, tres grand buffet agréable et choix des aliments en tres bonne qualitées, avec bcps de suggestions, dont les viandes cuites devant vous, tres sympas....

Waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns aufgrund der guten Bewertungen entschieden, dieses Restaurant aufzusuchen. Unser Résumé: Lieblos aufgehäuftes Buffet, ein Großteil der Gerichte kam aus der Friteuse. Die wenigen Speisen, die hochwertiger aussahen, wurden nicht wieder aufgefüllt. Nie wieder!

Ate here while visiting Europa Park and staying two nights in Lahr. This place was simply awesome. Everyone spoke English and was really nice. We came for the buffet and the selection was incredible. Totally delicious food at good price

Das Restaurant zieht viel Kundschaft an, weil es ein Mittagsbüffet und ein Abendbüffet bietet, die recht reichhaltig sortiert sind und doch preiswert. So sind auch häufig viele Familien mit Kindern dort Gäste, und nicht alle Kinder wissen, wie man sich bei einem Büffet benimmt. Ich finde in der Regel etwas, das mir schmeckt, da die Auswahl groß ist, aber es gibt auch ein bisschen 0-8-15 asiatisch.

Wir waren schon öfters hier. Das Mittags-Buffet ist absolut empfehlenswert. Reichlich in der Auswahl, es wird immer nachgekocht&aufgefüllt. Das Essen ist lecker! Wir kommen wieder.

Große Auswahl- geschmacklich sehr gut. Wünsche erfüllt. Der neue Anbau wirkt ein wenig nüchtern. Es fehlt das chinesische Flair etwas.
