Wir waren spontan dort , haben dort draußen noch einen Platz bekommen. Der Service und das Essen ist sehr gut.

Das Mauro‘s Jever ist ein sehr schönes Lokal. Es gibt einige ausgefallene Gerichte auf der Speisekarte. Pizzen und Nudelgerichte können individuell zusammengestellt werden. Der Service war sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich. Den einen Punkt Abzug im Service gibt es dennoch aufgrund der relativ langen Wartezeiten. Wir werden aber gerne wiederkommen :)

Sehr schönes Lokal direkt am Marktplatz aber doch in ruhiger Atmosphäre. Super netter Service. Sehr gastfreundlich und nett zu Kindern und Hunden. Wir hatten Antipasti und Pizza-beides sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Wenn wir nochmal in Jever sind kommen wir sehr gerne wieder!

Das Restaurant befindet sich in der Innenstadt von Jever und hat Innen- und Außerbereiche. Je nach Saison empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Das Essen war gut, besonders die "parppadelle al Salmone" war lecker und großzügig portioniert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch angenehm machte.

Nach einem halben Jahr sind wir nun endlich wieder hier gewesen. Habe diesmal den Grillteller gewählt. Einsame Spitze Also alles perfekt wie immer. Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen. Bisdennedirkundsilke.🫶 Ein sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant im Herzen von Jever, direkt am Marktplatz. Es bietet ein stilvolles Ambiente, mega nettes und sehr aufmerksames Personal und ein sehr freundlichen Chef. Und nun zum Essen. Wir haben als "Touris" dieses Restaurant schon lange für uns entdeckt und haben schon das Gefühl nach "Hause" zu kommen. Die Küche ist vielseitig, alle Speisen sind selber hergestellt und einzigartig. Heute habe ich den Bacon-Burger mit Barbecue Sauce und Steakhouse Pommes gegessen und der hat mich wirklich umgehauen. Das 230 gr. Patty, der Käse die Zutaten, die Sauce im selbstgemachten Burgerbuns ("Burgerbrötchen"), megalecker und sehr schön angerichtet, die Steakhouse-Pommes, legga❣️ Und die Barbecue-Sauce...himmlisch.🙏 Morgen werden wir zum Abschluss unseres Kurzurlaubes natürlich wieder dort sein. Wir waren heute Abend hier essen. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Musik unangenehm laut. Eher eine Bar als ein gemütliches Restaurant. Wirklich unterhalten ist schwierig. Recht teuer.

Fantastico! Eine kulinarische Zeitreise – Hier kocht das echte Italien! 🇮🇹 ​Mamma mia, was für ein Erlebnis! Ein Besuch bei Mauro ist wie eine Fahrt in einer Zeitmaschine, die einen direkt in die wunderbaren Anfänge zurückkatapultiert, als du noch unser charmanter Oberkellner warst. Gratulation, einfach fabelhaft! ​Das Essen? Che meraviglia! Es schmeckt noch ganz genau so grandios wie damals vor weit über 20 Jahren. Hier bekommt man echtes, gelebtes Italien-Feeling auf den Teller gezaubert. Das ist keine müde Kopie, sondern das absolute Original! Man spürt und schmeckt bei jedem Bissen die "Amore" und die Leidenschaft für die echte italienische Küche. Und Mauro, klasse: Du hast die Zeit wirklich hervorragend überstanden! ​Ein riesiges Grazie auch an meinen Kunden Maurice aus Wittmund, der mir wieder von dir erzählt hat – das war der beste Tipp des Jahres. ​Wir kommen ganz garantiert wieder! Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung war sehr nett. Aber ein Tablet als Kartenersatz ist sehr unübersichtlich und ob es hygienisch ist, weiß man auch nicht...

Es war ein sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Essen, eine Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten war sehr gut. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Jever bin komme ich wieder! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Erste Mal da gewesen..... Wir waren mehr als begeistert.... Von allem.... Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Waren schon öfter da und es war immer top, bis auf dieses Mal. Was gar nicht geht sind Mozzarella-Sticks aus der Fischfriteuse! Und dann noch behaupten das es nicht stimmt, es war nicht zu überriechen und schmecken. Der Dip wurde uns auch nicht gebracht. Sehr traurig. Das war dann mal unser Lieblingslokal in Jever.

Ein echtes Highlight in Jever! Das Mauros überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die herzliche Atmosphäre und wird direkt freundlich empfangen man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend: frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Egal ob Pizza, Pasta oder andere Spezialitäten alles ist perfekt abgestimmt und ein Genuss bis zum letzten Bissen. Besonders die Qualität der Zutaten hebt sich deutlich hervor. Auch der Service verdient ein großes Lob: aufmerksam, schnell und dabei immer freundlich und locker. Genau so stellt man sich einen gelungenen Restaurantbesuch vor. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen!

Sehr lecker und aus meiner Sicht preislich sehr in Ordnung. Sehr nettes Personal, flexibel und freundlich! Gerne wieder!

Vorab ein großes Lob an das Personal – der Service war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Dafür gibt es von mir die zwei Sterne. Ich habe mein Lieblingsgericht, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, bestellt und war leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Ich koche dieses Gericht selbst sehr häufig und bestelle es auch regelmäßig in Italien, daher habe ich einen ganz guten Vergleich. Leider fehlte es insgesamt deutlich an Geschmack. Salz fehlte komplett, dafür waren Tomaten im Gericht, was eigentlich nicht dazugehört. Chili war ebenfalls nicht vorhanden, stattdessen lagen ein paar dicke Scheiben einer bunten Peperonimischung darauf. Der Knoblauch war in Scheiben geschnitten statt fein gehackt. Das wäre grundsätzlich kein Problem gewesen, wenn er lange genug im Olivenöl angebraten worden wäre, um sein volles Aroma zu entfalten. So wirkte das Gericht insgesamt leider sehr fade, obwohl Spaghetti Aglio e Olio eigentlich von seiner Einfachheit und seinem intensiven Geschmack lebt. Vielleicht hatte ich auch einfach nur einen schlechten Tag in der Küche erwischt. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich aber noch einmal den Service – wirklich sehr freundlich – und auch das Lokal selbst macht einen sehr schicken Eindruck. PS: Für ein italienisches Restaurant ist die Speisekarte ungewöhnlich groß. Neben klassischen italienischen Gerichten gibt es dort auch Burger und sogar Currywurst.

Sehr leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung. Nur leider hatte man unsere Reservierung nicht notiert. Haben aber für begrenzte Zeit trotzdem einen Tisch bekommen.

Wir waren heute mit 10 Leuten dort! Essen war fantastisch. Getränke waren auch top. Ambiente recht modern und einladend. Hätte ein wenig wärmer heute sein können -> leicht kühl. Trotzdem eine schöne Lokalität. Wir kommen alle wieder 👌

Für Schüler kriegt man schon für 4€ sein Mittagessen in angemessener Menge. Alles schmeckt sehr gut, freundliches Personal. Preis-Leistung also eigentlich sogar 6 Sterne.

Wir waren mit Freunden im Mauros zum Cocktails trinken. Wir haben meistens immer die gleichen Cocktails bestellt, geschmacklich aber leider nicht wirklich gut, alle haben unterschiedlich geschmeckt ob wohl wir immer sortenrein bestellt hatten, der Obergaudi war der Espresso Martini🤣 ich habe wirklich schon viele Cocktailbars ausprobiert, aber noch nie wurde mir ein Espresso Martini mit ICE serviert, geschweige dann sogar noch mit Crush ICE …. Sorry absolut kacke…

Alles TOP!!! Hammer Pizza, aufmerksames Personal, gemütliches Ambiente, wir kommen wieder!

2x probiert 2x top zufrieden Das erste Mal sind wir nach einem Meertag extra einen großen Umweg gefahren, da hier glutenfreie Pizza angeboten wurde. Uns wurde dann freundlich mitgeteilt, dass die Küche leider in 10 Minuten schließt. Nachdem wir traurig von unserem Umweg erzählten, bekamen wir 5 Minuten zum Aussuchen aus der Karte und wurden doch noch top bedient. Das zweite Mal gönnten wir uns ein Wochenende in Jever und schon beim Planen war klar, wir kommen wieder vorbei. Unser reservierter Tisch war direkt an der Bar und etwas zugig wegen der Tür. Kaum saßen wir, bot uns der Chef an, dass weiter hinten ein Tisch frei wäre, den wir gerne nehmen dürften. Haben wir gerne angenommen. Das Essen ist TOP! Sehr schön angerichtet, sehr lecker, Pizza super belegt und nicht überladen. Die Getränkepreise sind etwas höher, als gewöhnt. Der Service ist TOP! Freundlich, schnell und wirklich authentisch. Man kann auch mal so einen Schnack halten. Und ich finde, man merkt dem Team die gute Stimmung an. Das Ambietente ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal!

"Wir waren eine Gruppe von neun Personen mit zwei Kleinkindern und hatten einen Tisch von 17:15 bis 19:00 Uhr reserviert. Der erste Kontakt war sehr positiv und freundlich. Die Getränke kamen zügig. Leider war das Zeitmanagement danach mangelhaft. Bis zur Aufnahme der Essensbestellung verging viel zu viel Zeit. Auf das Essen – überwiegend Pizzen und einfache Gerichte – warteten wir dann ca. 45 Minuten, während Tische, die später kamen, früher bedient wurden. Die Vorspeise kam erst fast als Dessert. Der absolute Tiefpunkt war jedoch der Umgang mit dem Zeitlimit: Um kurz nach 19:00 Uhr wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter (mit leicht grauem Haar) in einem sehr unpassenden Ton aufgefordert, fix aufzuessen und zu gehen, da der nächste Tisch bereits da sei. In Anbetracht der langen Wartezeit, für die wir nichts konnten, ist dieser unhöfliche Rauswurf inakzeptabel. Einmal Mauros – aber definitiv keine Wiederholung."

Das Essen schmeckt super. Die cocktails sind ebenfalls super. Aber leider ist es jetzt schon 2x vorgekommen das wir Samstags gegen 22uhr hingegangen sind und schon doof angeschaut wurden. Wir wollten nur cocktails trinken und waren zu zweit. Wir haben im internet nachgeschaut und dort steht bis 2uhr geöffnet. Oder ist das nicht mehr aktuell? Nachdem wir den ersten Cocktail aufgetrunken hatten, kam keiner mehr zu uns an den Tisch um Bestellung aufzunehmen. Blick kontakt wurde gemieden. Es wurden vom Personal nur ziemlich laut irgendwelche Sprüche, auch an andere Gäste, abgegeben. "Ja die sind auch erst um 22 Uhr gekommen wir wollen auch mal Feierabend machen." Böse Blicke inklusive. Und dann wurde wie gesagt keine Bestellung mehr aufgenommen und um uns herum alles aufgeräumt. Wir haben dann nach einer stunde bezahlt und sind gegangen. Ich meine, alles gut - wir haben Verständnis dafür. Vielleicht war es ein anstrengender Tag. Aber Woher sollen wir denn wissen wann ihr zu macht, wenn im internet steht 2uhr? Ihr sucht euch den Job doch selbst aus? Aber kann man nicht einfach nett zum Gast gehen und sagen " hey möchtet ihr noch was trinken wir würden jetzt die letzte runde machen und schonmal abkassieren wenn das in ordnung ist" Aber so dieses lautstarke "lästern" über Gäste und einfach garnicht mehr an den Tischen blicken lassen... ist doch schade und das war beide male irgendwie einfach richtig unangenehm..

Wir haben heute zwei Gerichte und eine Vorspeise zum Abholen bestellt. Beim Abholen hieß es auf einmal, wir könnten nicht mit Gutschein zahlen, das hätte vorher "angemeldet" werden müssen... Nachdem wir dann bezahlt hatten und unser Essen 3 min später Zuhause essen wollten, stellten wir fest, dass die Pizzabrötchen kalt und teilweise noch gefroren waren. Das Nudelgericht für 17.50 € war kalt, die Nudeln hart, die Sauce geschmacklos. Die Pizza war oben verbrannt aber der Teig nicht richtig durch. Für den Preis waren der Service und das Essen eine Frechheit.

Wir haben bei Mauros bestellt und essen abgeholt. Dieses wollten wir mit einem Gutschein bezahlen, das ging aber nicht weil die Dame meinte das hätten wir ihr schon am Telefon mitteilen müssen. Daraufhin musste wir das Essen so bezahlen. Wir hatten Nudeln und Pizza beides war kalt !! Die Nudeln schmeckten nach Nix und für 17.50 Euro sollten die Nudeln nach was schmecken. Der Teig der Pizza war sehr zäh und das Fleisch viel zu groß geschnitten. Für den Preis von fast 40 Euro viel zu Teuer.

Unfortunately, there's a construction site right in front of the entrance, but it's okay. It's everywhere these days, and you have to go through it. Mauros is a truly fantastic restaurant, with so many great dishes, both with and without meat. The fish menus are also excellent. Great service, and I always enjoy coming here.

Excellent Italian cuisine in a modern setting. Both the appetizer platter, the pike-perch, and the saltimbocca were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was attentive.

Delicious food, great service, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back 🤗 A small addendum: when the chef isn't on-site, the quality of service and cuisine fluctuates considerably. Our appetizers were delivered incorrectly – inedible for us. We sent both plates back, and nothing came except a "sorry." And we were billed, too. A real shame.

Sat outside... disco music blaring the whole time, quite exhausting. The food arrived after about 45 minutes, and it was partly good - the pasta was okay, but nothing special; the fish was a bit dry, there was little sauce/butter, and the side salad leaf was sandy... quite okay for an average Italian, but I can't understand the enthusiastic comments.

Waiter looks at PIN when paying?! The food was incorrectly billed on the receipt (and overcharged), but the bill was paid for later. The food took a bit long, was nothing special, and the music didn't really fit the atmosphere (disco). So, it was more show than substance.

I've been to Mauros since they were still a small restaurant in the pedestrian zone, and even then I loved it! I spend part of my vacation on the coast every year, and a visit to Mauros is simply a must. We went back again this year. The food is still excellent! The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's worth it. The staff are super nice, friendly, and never shy of a joke. My only criticism would be the somewhat small tables, which sometimes make eating uncomfortable. But I wouldn't deduct a star for that. All in all, a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone. Even if Jever doesn't have as much to offer these days, Mauros is worth a visit.

I'd be lying if I had anything to complain about. The business runs smoothly even when the old man isn't there.

The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious! I had the pear and walnut pizza – I personally would have preferred more cream cheese and less honey, but that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately, we had to order dessert at the counter because no one came to our table after clearing our plates. They also didn't ask for drinks, which was a bit of a shame. The staff was friendly, though.

We came here for the first time on the recommendation of someone we knew. The waitress was just outside preparing the table and came straight to us, turned on the warm heater for us and immediately fetched a high chair for our child. She was just incredibly friendly. We each had bruschetta variations as a starter and it was simply delicious. The waitress came up with the idea of ​​bringing the dish to our child with our starter, which was a really great idea. We thought it was really great. So for the main course we had a Tussiburger and the Cordon Bleu. And we would really have to think about the last time we ate something so delicious in a restaurant. Even our child's spaghetti in bolognese was unsurpassable. All the waiters and waitresses were super friendly. We found the atmosphere really nice, even the toilets were ultra-modern and super clean. All in all a really successful dinner in this restaurant. And since they were all so friendly and understanding towards our child, I would recommend this restaurant again and again and would also emphasize how incredibly great we enjoyed it there and how uniquely delicious it was. We then paid €95 for two starters, three main courses and 5 drinks. Of course you can't afford that all the time, but for us on vacation it was completely fine simply because it was justifiable for such delicious food and great staff and a great atmosphere.

The ambience is probably the best thing here. The food is ok, with potential for improvement. What was really bad was the arrogant, arrogant waitress in the form of a young man. This is absolutely not possible!! Never again!!!

We got a table on the covered and heated terrace. It's very comfortable and ok. We didn't reserve in advance. The pizza was quite good, but not perfect for our taste. The chili chesse burgers were great, as were the steakhouse fries with sour cream. Another burger (with red cabbage) turned out to be very dry. There is a star deduction because dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. However, dogs are allowed on the terrace. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The food was served quite quickly. The decor in the restaurant felt too dark.

We celebrated our birthday at “Mauro's” with 19 people (children aged 3 - 11 were also there), the full program. The tables were prepared according to the occasion. There was a welcome aperitif, non-alcoholic and very tasty, so that the children could also enjoy something. The meal started with appetizer platters and starters on etagères, super tasty. Followed by the main course a la carte. And all of this without a long wait, after 20 – 30 minutes everyone had their food and was extremely satisfied. It was a top performance with 19 people. Never before have I had such great and fantastically balanced mussels in tomato stock as I did today. A decent amount - the stock at the end was another excellent tomato gazpacho. My friend's pizza was a hit not only visually but also in terms of taste. The owner's daughter served us in an exemplary friendly and attentive manner. No wish or request was long in coming. Today was the first and certainly not the last time we were guests there. Hats off to the kitchen and the service. Thank you for the lovely evening with you ❤️

I rarely give a review but this restaurant was really great. Special the traditional carbonara. The only negative experience where the store didn't have a hand over it was being stung by a wasp

Never had such a bad Italian meal before. After an hour of waiting with repeated requests, our food arrived: spaghetti carnonara and salad with baked potatoes Apparently both were under a heat pump for a very long time. Spaghetti was a big "dumpling" inedible, salad completely loveless and without taste, potatoes to a limited extent and sour cream also without taste. We ate the salad because we were hungry, spaghetti was almost completely gone. Shortly before the food was brought, an outside heater was kindly turned on, unfortunately a little late. It was loud and stuffy inside, so we had to choose between a headache and suffocation or freezing. So take your time when you eat there and stay away from the noodles.

A stylish, beautiful and well-kept ambience, as well as a very friendly, humorous boss with a large team of wonderful employees welcomes the guests. The digital menu (works great even without glasses ;-) offers guests a very appealing selection of delicious dishes and drinks. If a dish is out, we immediately improvise and conjure up a great alternative dish. Even when there are very(!) many guests, the employees are absolutely attentive and will immediately replace a dropped fork with a new one. Chapeau, THAT really makes going out a wonderful evening! A big thank you for that! We'll definitely be back!

There is no play area for children and no stool on the toilet for children to wash their hands. You could breastfeed on a chair in the hallway in front of the toilets.
