Upon arrival, we noticed smoke inside the building. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great. Mauri's chicken had a rubbery taste, and the burger was nothing special. Everything was lukewarm.

I was there on a Monday, and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Even so, I waited quite a while before anyone came to my table, which I found a bit disappointing. I ordered a schnitzel, and it looked huge on the plate at first, but unfortunately, it was pounded very thin. For over €20, I was honestly a little let down. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) weren't really to my taste either :( They were quite bland. The only things I really liked were the water and the Jäger sauce, which was delicious! Overall, I think the meal was simply too expensive for what it was.

My good friend and I have been on holiday at least once in December and again this October, and we've often visited your restaurant. We have to say your food and cocktails are always very well prepared, and the staff is always very friendly despite the large number of people. We highly recommend it! 👍

I was there for a drink and was lucky enough to be served by Nuri – he was simply fantastic! He gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and took care of us attentively the entire time, without being intrusive. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next day – to Nuri, of course. Once again, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. His positive attitude, his smile, and his professionalism made the visit truly special. The atmosphere was relaxed, the drinks were great, and the service perfectly rounded it all off. Such warm hospitality is rare these days – Nuri truly left a lasting impression. We will definitely be back – hopefully to see him again!

I was there at the end of September with an international group of about 20 people. I have to honestly say that I was a bit skeptical beforehand, as the reservation process was very anonymous. On the phone, I was referred to an online form, which in turn seemed rather non-binding (e.g., that the group wouldn't necessarily be able to sit together). But what can I say? When we arrived, a large, beautiful table was prepared for us. The waiters were all very attentive and friendly. The food arrived quickly and at the same time for everyone—and it was also very delicious. The group was very satisfied, and several participants praised Mauritius several times. Keep up the good work!

We were there on October 3, 2025, around 9 p.m. We ordered a Mauri Box, but unfortunately, the meat was completely charred and the other skewer was cold. I asked for a new skewer because I couldn't eat it. The waitress was very rude. When the new skewer arrived, it was also completely charred. There was no apology or consideration. We didn't want to order dessert or drinks either, as no one came to us after complaining. We called the lady several times to pay, but were constantly ignored. We've rarely seen such poor service. A shame.

Great lunch offer! Perfect spot for your lunch break. A large selection of bowls, salads, and pizzas. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The place is very popular at lunchtime, so it can get a bit crowded and noisy. But for a quick, high-quality meal, it's definitely a definite recommendation.

Absolutely terrible service. The waitress demanded I pay twice because the first debit apparently didn't work. I noticed immediately afterward that the money had been transferred twice. However, the waitress said only the manager could resolve this. I then sent an email and received no response. Furthermore, the male waiter frightened my girlfriend with his strange looks. Absolutely not recommended. Avoid this place. I would give it - stars if possible. I hope the waitress gets a warning or is fired!!!

ATTENTION! The cocktails we ordered as non-alcoholic were served with alcohol. Only after we explicitly pointed out that the taste was completely different than usual and most likely contained alcohol did the waitress bring us a new drink, this time actually without alcohol. After we were certain that alcohol was present, we pointed this out to the waitress. Her only response as we walked past was a curt "I'm sorry." We find this very disrespectful, as there are people who don't drink alcohol for religious or health reasons. For such a serious mistake, at least a sincere apology would have been appropriate. Occurred on September 6, 2025, at approximately 11:30 PM.

We've visited the restaurant several times and always enjoy coming back. The waiter with the glasses is particularly nice and accommodating! He makes it worth coming back again and again, especially for a drink on the terrace in the evening. Huge praise to our colleague!

I've enjoyed going to Mauritius for drinks for years. They have a wide variety of cocktails. If you don't drink alcohol, the cocktail selection elsewhere is usually very limited, so I'm glad to have more options here. I never actually go for dinner; the food is too expensive for me personally. But even here, there are occasional specials and a wide selection of bowls, burgers, etc.

The food is okay. For the prices, there's precious little alcohol in the cocktails. The music is too loud to have a conversation. As for the staff... I hope I got the B team. Which would surprise me on a Friday night, though. The gentleman who waited tables outside and I have very different ideas about what constitutes friendly customer service. If I hadn't been on my way to a large group, I would have turned on my heel and left.

First of all. We don't like pinsa, we just don't like it and don't understand the hype at all. The menu says pizza, but we got pinsa. When we asked the nice waitress, she replied, blah blah blah, it's the same. No, it isn't. The thing was absolutely tasteless. I mean, completely tasteless. You could bite into a piece of cardboard and not tell the difference. With that came a mixed salad for over €10 which was absolutely standard. So sorry Mauritius, the atmosphere is nice but the food is rubbish. And as adults, you can trust us to know the difference between pizza and pinsa, there's no need to take us for fools.

The place is very cool and hip to go out, the food is okay , very well presented, a bit expensive for the proportions and what they offer but of course the location plays a big part of the places, id hang out there again, but it wouldn’t be a favorite place, maybe its better for drinks than food

Unfortunately, there were several flies in the cheese spaetzle. We ordered them twice, and this was the case with both. Unfortunately, that doesn't speak for good hygiene. Despite everything, I have to say that the waiters handled this well, but we won't be coming back for a while.

Food was good but one evening they forgot to serve olive oil and a pizza.

First, we went to the other Mauritius restaurant at Gerber, which closes at 11 p.m. At 10:15 p.m., they offered us food until 10:30 p.m. Since that wasn't enough for us, we came here, where at 10:30 p.m. they told us they only had drinks and the kitchen was already closed, even though they're open until midnight.

Went for a drink with friends. The service was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious. What annoyed me, however, was that smoking is only allowed on the terrace at tables with "regular" chairs, not at tables with couches. Therefore, we had to wait longer to be seated, even though there were tables available. You are allowed to smoke at the tables with couches if you stand next to them, which makes no sense to me, especially since cigarettes could easily fall onto the couch.

My girlfriend and I arrived on July 19, 2025, at 7 p.m. and asked for a seat on the terrace. We were rudely addressed by two different female waitresses when we politely asked for a seat. One of them even pointed to the floor where we should wait – even though we were already standing there. We found this unnecessary and condescending. We had experienced something similar with the same waitress 2-3 weeks ago. Despite asking for the regular menus, we were only given the Saturday menu and were again treated rudely. When we asked if that was the full menu, she replied brusquely: "No, that's the Saturday menu." Fortunately, waiter Jan significantly improved the situation with his very polite and professional manner. Many thanks to Jan – for his friendly and respectful approach!

Das Restaurant bietet die perfekte Mischung aus stylischem Ambiente, lockerer Stimmung und professionellem Service. Ideal für ein ungezwungenes Business-Dinner mit besonderem Flair. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zu einem ruhigen Tisch begleitet, an dem wir uns gut unterhalten konnten. Trotz der lebendigen Atmosphäre war es nicht zu laut und wir konnten uns noch gut unterhalten. Das Team war aufmerksam, aber angenehm zurückhaltend, wie man es sich in einem geschäftlichen Kontext wünscht. Für uns war es ein runder Abend in entspannter, aber stilvoller Atmosphäre, kein typisches „Business-Restaurant“, sondern ein Ort, an dem man sich wohlfühlt und dennoch professionell auftreten kann. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – auch privat!

Honestly, do you think that if I order a juice spritzer and pay almost 5 euros including tip, then find out that it contains 15% juice and 85% fizz? Sorry guys, that was the last time I pay 5 euros for 0.3 liters of water.

Great food, great service, the Green Soul Bowl was a bit pricey because it lacked protein. We ordered falafel with it, which cost €4, but only five on the plate, and only small ones. For the bowl, around €15.90 plus the falafel, which is pretty steep. I then ordered a draft beer, and it wasn't completely chilled. That's unpleasant in this heat. Afterward, I got a small new beer (0.3l). I actually ordered 0.5l, but half of it was already drunk. Strangely, though, it tasted like it had been diluted with water. The toilet was completely clogged and dirty. And the umbrellas with the Iqos logo are really outdated; young people come here! It's a real shame, otherwise it would be 4, if not 5⭐️

Today we decided to make a change and spontaneously eat at Mauritius in Stuttgart. It was our first time, and we're absolutely thrilled! The lovely lady who served us (dear Ciara) made us feel right at home. We felt very comfortable, and the food was simply fantastic! We haven't had anything this good in a long time! The ambiance is very nice, the service attentive, and the cocktails truly excellent (there's a huge selection). Unfortunately, the main courses weren't impressive: Both my dish and my companion's were rather bland in flavor, and the meat was unfortunately burnt. Given the prices, we would have expected more.

I think it Is ridicolous that you cannot smoke at the table outside just because they bought a new chair, considering that you come and spend 100€.

We went to Mauritius as a group of friends and were unfortunately very disappointed. The start was frustrating: We had to wait over 40 minutes for our food – and then it arrived at such a staggered time, so some of us were already finished while others still had to wait. That's really annoying, especially in a group. The drinks weren't great either: We ordered sparkling water, but we got still water, and even the simple exchange took another 10 minutes. Overall, the service seemed uncoordinated and overwhelmed. The food was already ready and only brought when we asked for it. It's a shame the atmosphere is actually nice, but with such poor organization, we won't be back. There are much better-run restaurants in the area.

It's well known that Mauri serves great food! Today, however, I'd like to single out our server, "Nemi," for his excellent work. He acted very professionally, even when it got a bit busier at lunchtime. Always friendly and relaxed, as if he'd never done anything else. Many thanks again for the great service. The food was delicious, as always. However, the waiter spilled a glass of ice cubes and a Coke on me and the person next to me. Coke was all over my pants and the table. We had to clean up almost everything ourselves because he was overwhelmed. He didn't bring us new napkins or a new glass. Unfortunately, there was no compensation. When I left a small tip (unfortunately, another waiter took the money, but he didn't contribute much to our service either), I had to listen to another comment.

Not recommended!!! The sweet potato fries were black, probably fried 20 minutes too long. The chicken skewers were very small and burnt, and the chicken had no piri-piri seasoning or flavor other than charred. On top of that, the service was simply not friendly.

I called especially at lunchtime to make a reservation because I wanted to come with my child and dog. I was kindly told that it wasn't necessary that we should just come and that dogs are welcome. The fact that you have to wait forever until a table becomes available could have been mentioned on the phone, then I would have gone somewhere else with my child. We then sat outside on a really shabby bench and were then informed that the dog was only allowed to be on the floor because of the cushions (made of faux leather and really very shabby, the dog is smaller than a cat) and it was cold. Unfortunately there were no more blankets. We then left and were warmly welcomed elsewhere.

Very nice waitresses, the service is attentive, fast and friendly - ideal! The extensive cocktail menu offers something for everyone. When it comes to food, the selection is a little smaller, but it's top-class. I would love to come back, highly recommended!

Lunch on Easter Monday. We were invited to Mauritius (Stuttgart Mitte). We were pleasantly surprised because we were also at the other Mauritius branch but Stuttgart was much nicer. The atmosphere is very pleasant, Service was very nice, friendly and correct. Simply “professional” The food was also very good and the portions were quite large. The cocktails, beautifully presented and tasted good to us. For 3 people, food and drinks, the bill was around €70, so “normal”... I'm sure it wasn't the last visit to Mauritius.

We had to wait almost an hour for the food. The menus are not labeled with allergies, but after I asked, unfortunately she misread it and therefore gave me the wrong information. Luckily I happened to see it myself... Of course this can happen, but this problem could be solved with a label on the menu. Plus, the long wait for the food wasn't worth it. The pizza wasn't particularly good and the green soul bowl was unfortunately bland. But anything can happen. The restaurant was pretty full.

Ich war geschäftlich zum Mittagessen im Mauritius am Börsenplatz Stuttgart. Service war sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Wir hatten Salate mit Pizzabrot und eine Bowl. Essen war schmeckte sehr frisch und die Portionen waren groß. Danke auch an Lena für den gratis Espresso ;)

Ich habe hier Mittag gegessen und bin restlos begeistert! Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants spürt man die warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und dennoch unaufdringlich – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Das Essen? Ein absoluter Traum! Die Speisekarte bietet eine tolle Auswahl an frischen, raffinierten Gerichten. Ich habe die Mauri Bowl bestellt, und es war perfekt zubereitet – voller Geschmack, wunderschön angerichtet und mit hochwertigen Zutaten. Die Portionsgröße war genau richtig, um satt, aber nicht überfüllt zu sein. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für die gebotene Qualität und den exzellenten Service sind die Preise absolut fair. Fazit: Wer ein fantastisches Mittagessen in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen möchte, sollte sich dieses Restaurant nicht entgehen lassen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Nice and helpful staff who are also happy to look after valuables. Cocktails are cheap at Mauri and snails are good. When eating it, the taste is actually good. If it doesn't taste good, we recommend simply removing the breading that is too fried, but the boneless hand meat didn't taste good on the inside either. Nevertheless, the large portions will fill you up. Prices are also rather expensive, but the quantity ratio is right. So the wishes will be taken into account. If you don't have a 20, you'll be told with humor that you've already gotten enough change today.

Naja... angeblich karibisches Restaurant, was schon dem Namen widerspricht. 2 karibische Essen gibt es dann neben Burgern, Bowls u.ä. Das Caribbean Grilled Chicken mit Reis, Süßkartoffelpommes und Salat war in Ordnung, viel mehr aber nicht. Die Wartezeit beim Bestellen war - Samstagabend, aber nicht richtig voll - lang, das Essen kam dann umso schneller, was üblicherweise ein Indiz dafür ist, dass nicht alles frisch zubereitet wird. Die Cocktailkarte ist - und die Cocktails auch - sehr ordentlich bei günstigen Preisen. Absolutes No Go: die Damentoilette war defekt (okay, das kann passieren, ist aber wohl schon länger so), so dass es ab 19.30 Uhr auf der Herrentoilette kein Klopapier mehr gab!!! Wo gibt es denn sowas? Wiederholung nicht erforderlich.

Whenever I'm there I enjoy it so much. Whether in summer or winter, the staff always ensures that guests have a great time. Above all, the ambience is what makes me so happy every time :)

6 of us ate here. It was pretty good overall. What I would like from the service is that when you bring the cards to the table, they immediately say which dishes are out and not when you are just taking the order. Then you've been looking forward to a dish and are put off.
