Everything was great…great food, great service

So I have to say that the pasta with beef mince and tomato sauce was not so tasty, absolutely a disaster, I will never come back

Cappuccino & delicious cheesecake for 5.50€ – you can't complain :)

The Mathilda restaurant gave us a royal welcome after a long car ride. The attentive service of the staff and the delicious food delighted us. We thank you for this wonderful stay and are happy to recommend the restaurant.

Great shop! We come several times a week and love how fresh the food is cooked here. The two owners are very nice and practically part of the business :-)

Very nice place! Unfortunately, the food wasn't good. I had a salad. It didn't have any dressing on it. When I asked, the lady came over, held a large plastic bottle over my plate, and said, "Say stop." Unfortunately, I didn't like it. The goat cheese was cold. The drinks were good. The service was good.

We met Mathilda at the beginning of the year. It's just a nice place to stay and enjoy. The food menu is small and manageable, but it tastes great! The service is simply super friendly with a certain touch of humor and humanity!

When the weather is nice and warm, you can enjoy food and drinks in the beer garden. We felt very comfortable both inside and outside, the food was very good, please definitely try the homemade lemonade!

Me and my partner had a holiday in Madrid and extended our good times to Wiesbaden. We stopped in to Matihilda for a lunch and fell in love with the look and feel of the space. Add to the that Diane,I hope I spelled correctly, and the food, her husband is the chef, we were in love. We loved it so much we went for a light dinner and drinks the next day. This is a family owned and operated eatery and you taste the love in every bite. We will for sure make a point to drop into Wiesbaden, which is a beautiful place, for the amazing food, service, and Diane next year as we plan our 2026 holiday. If you are visiting or live in Wiesbaden visit Mathilda for a meal, drinks, and experience second to none. With love, John and Sean

Super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! It's definitely worth a visit. We once had the entrecôte, which was absolutely perfect, with a fantastic sauce. And the homemade potato pancakes with smoked salmon were also amazing.

Very nice place. Cozy and nice. The food is served and looks good. In the summer, there are a few tables outside. We've only ordered drinks there so far.

Das Lokal noch voll, ein paar freie Tische, aber nicht für uns 🤷‍♀️ kann man nicht verstehen… Umsatz nicht nötig oder? Öffnungszeiten bis 21.30 Uhr. Mag das Essen noch so gut sein, dass geht einfach nicht

We went to this restaurant with a small group and it was a really wonderful evening. The ambience was cozy and inviting, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The service was extremely fast, friendly and attentive - as a guest you felt well looked after. The food was simply fantastic! Every dish we tried was fresh, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We really liked everything, from the quality of the food to the excellent service. We are sure: we would love to come back here! Absolutely recommended!

We had a very nice Christmas party with our company here with good food. The reservation by phone worked without any problems and we were able to find out on the day of the Christmas party that we were three fewer people than planned.

Even upon request, no vegan options are available here. It's a shame that restaurants like this still exist...

Wir haben einen tollen Tisch am wunderschönen selbstgebauten riesigen Weihnachtsstern bekommen. Die Bedienung sowie das Essen waren hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Salat wurde mit Walnüssen nicht gespart. Auch war die Salatauswahl mit besonders gesunden Arten und stimmig mit einem leckeren Ziegekäse serviert!

Went to Mathilda's for the first time today and the food was really good (tartar, olives with bread, steak and cordon bleu). The prices are a bit higher, but you're happy to pay that if the key data is right (quality, ambience and service). We would love to come back 🤍 Thank you!

Great service, location, excellent food!

We were there for the first time today with our two sons and were absolutely thrilled: We had reserved online and asked for a table on the edge or in the corner of the dining room, as the boys can be lively. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and given a nice, large corner seat for the four of us. Service was there immediately and took the drinks, no waiting times. The food came really quickly and all four main courses came together. We had tartare, pasta, cordon bleu and steak - all delicious. The prices are high, but absolutely justified for the quality, service and ambience. We would love to come back…

I was really disappointed with my visit to your restaurant as I had heard so many good things about it... I was hoping that the service would meet my expectations and that I would have a positive experience. Unfortunately this is not the case and I feel very disappointed as a customer (human being). Please refrain from personal bias and focus on business. Best regards

The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere and good service! The quality of the food is excellent. However, you should be prepared for high prices, which makes the visit a rather exclusive experience. Definitely recommended for special occasions, but not for everyday wear.

Essen Top, Stimmung Flop Die Speisekarte liest sich super und das Essen war es auch. Lieder sind nur wenige Gäste dort. Das veranlasst wohl die Chefin einfach mal früher Feierabend zu machen und ihre Gäste sehr unsanft um 21:45 Uhr rauszukomplimentieren. Wir hätten gerne noch ein letztes Getränk genommen, durch den Kellner wurde uns ausgerichtet, daß das nicht geht. Und das nach einem Verzehr von 70 Euro. Schade!

The food wasn't good, there was hair in it and after complaining the service person with glasses also became unfriendly. Too much money for the service and the food... NOT RECOMMENDED... FOR LESS YOU CAN GET MORE ELSEWHERE AND YOU CAN GET BETTER SERVICE IN EVERY SNACK STORE... MORE APPEARANCE THAN IT IS🤮

If you want to enjoy a proper schnitzel, this is the place to go. They take the time to do it fresh and to beat the steak right before it gets fried. One notices that the cook knows what he’s doing and enjoys what he’s doing. I have been here several times and every time I have a joy with whatever I order. The drinks are well and properly prepared with great ingredients. The menu is not overly fancy, but of high quality, classic dishes. The staff is courteous, friendly, and sometimes also funny. Simply a great place to be when you have time to enjoy the good things of life. I wish I had taken a photo of my dish, but it was so good. I ate it all up before I remembered pulling up the camera.

Food was good, expensive but okay for the location. Homemade lemonade is good, but unfortunately almost non-carbonated. Card payment was not desired at 2 p.m. because "the billing had already been done." After looking at the opening times we were surprised, they were from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

I received a very warm welcome. The lemon cake was incredibly moist and the matcha latte was delicious. The atmosphere was just great. I would come back any time! The owner is extremely friendly.

Food, environment and people are wonderful

The three of us were there for a cold drink and a snack after the cinema and had a very nice evening. The head waitress was alone in service but was still very friendly and had the place confidently under control. She immediately pointed out to us that a large group had just ordered food before us and that we would have to expect a wait of about half an hour. With their advice, we found a few little things on the menu that the kitchen was able to quickly prepare for us. The snacks were delicious and we felt very well looked after!

Unfortunately we are not fans of Mathildas. On the first visit (2021), a voucher was only accepted on the next visit (2022) after a lot of back and forth and very unfriendly communication with the boss. No excuse for that either. We've been there three times now (had to come a second time because of the voucher) and the food (burgers, schnitzel) is good, but the service isn't always particularly nice either. The last visit a few days ago underlined this again. ... The comment on the evaluation once again underlines the subterranean behavior of the GF...

This restaurant is fantastic! Excellent food, but we especially love the Frankfurt Green Sauce. Not only is the food fresh and delicious but the atmosphere is inviting-perfect for families or a date night. The staff are very kind and will even bring your pup a water bowl. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent wine and beer selection. Visit Mathilda if you are in the Wiesbaden area.

Ich war gestern Abend mit meiner Frau und einem befreundeten Ehepaar dort erstmals essen. Das Ambietne war sehr schön, gemütlich und modern zugleich. Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich, mit guter Weinempfehlung, obwohl es sehr gut besucht war. Ich habe mich auf der Karte für das RIndertatar entschieden und als Hauptspeise für den Kabeljau mit Sellerie-Kartoffel-Püree gewählt! Alles sehr lecker und ansprechend! die anderen der Runde waren begeistertn vom Frankfurter Schnitzel und den Rösti mit Lachs. Danke für den tollen Abend! Wir kommen definitv wieder!

Ich war mit meiner Familie Freitag Mittag nach unserem Stadtbummel dort essen. Das Ambieten und die Tageskarte hat uns angesprochen, daher haben wir in dieser Ecke das Mathildas gewählt. Eigentlich wollten wir nur was schnelles trinken, aber das Essen aus der Küche sah sehr gut aus. Also haben wir noch was gegessen. Kürbissuppe was extrem gut. Rösti mir Lachs genaus das richtige fdür Mittags und die Kids haben Burger gegessen. Alles sehr lecker, geschmacklich mega und ansprechend angerichtet.. Werden bestimmt bald mal abends kommen!

Wir sind als Freundeskreis mit 6 Erwachsenen abends hier eingekehrt. Wir hatten das Frankfurter Schnitzel mit grüner Soße, meine Rösti mit Putengeschnezteltem und Apfelmus..Rumpsteak mit Pommes, Beilagensalate . Alles perfekt köstlich und hochwertige Qualität!!! Begleitet von guten Weinen, Empfehlung der Chefin der mallorquinische Rosé.. Dessert konnten wir leider auch nicht auslassen! Zu köstlich…Alle waren begeistert! Perfekte Qualität zu angemessenen Preisen! Es war ein rund um perfektes Essen im schönen Ambiente. Wir kommen definitiv wieder…
