I was here a few weeks ago, but I haven't had better sushi since. We were here on the assembly line on a Saturday and enjoyed every single plate 😌 Although they don't have pasta and other hot dishes on the assembly line like in other shops, they do have really well-made sushi in different varieties. What I will still never understand is why you have to make them with surimi. But that doesn't cost a star at this point. I’m also super happy in 2024. Friendly service, very creative sushi rolls and reasonable price on the line. See you next time!

Masusake offers a really great restaurant experience. In the middle of beautiful Schwäbisch Hall, sushi dreams come true. Every visit is a culinary taste experience. The interaction of food and design is appealing and incredibly tasty! We really enjoy going to Masusake with friends. Many a non-sushi eater has been tempted to try it during a visit and has also become a sushi fan. Whether fish, meat or vegetarian, the choice is large! I recommend making a reservation in advance as the location is always busy. Price - performance is absolutely right - service is top!

Very friendly staff despite the tables being completely booked. Drinks came immediately, sushi after a short wait. The selection was very good - in addition to the usual dishes and drinks, there were also more unusual things - we particularly liked the blobs of sauce for the sushi. The prices were very good for the quality offered. In terms of taste, everything was 100% - thank you for the unforgettable evening.

We had made a reservation for 6 p.m., our food arrived at 7:30 p.m. when we asked if we had been forgotten. Drinks that we had ordered were also completely forgotten. The food was good but there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service and friendliness.

Wir haben in August für 5 Personen gebucht (28 Grad draußen), aber als wir ankamen, sind wir sofort wieder abgereist. Draußen gab es keinen freien Platz, also reservierten die Kellner drinnen einen Platz für uns, aber es war stickig vor Hitze, da der Platz voll war. Wir fragten, ob es eine Klimaanlage gäbe, aber leider nein (oder kaputt) also reisten wir mit einem Kind ab. Schade, denn ich liebe diesen Ort und das Sushi war immer super gut, aber im August kann man ohne Luft nicht leben.

The store is really very good. Food, service and ambience. But be careful! Reservation is highly advisable. Everything is always busy there and we have been there 10 times now. The sushi is always on point, but don't forget to order à la carte. Salmon steak with coconut curry, a dream.

The food is perfect, there is a lot to choose from and everything tastes extremely tasty and is served very nicely.

We used to love going to Masu-Sake because the prices were reasonable, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We hardly come anymore now. The prices have risen immeasurably, but the amount of fish in/on the sushi has halved. The rice also doesn't taste as good anymore and the positions are tiny. At “All you can eat” there is sometimes no fish at all and only “vegetable sushi”. The staff is increasingly stressed and sometimes unfriendly. You have to wait forever for your food. I completely understand inflation, but the quality of the food simply cannot suffer as a result. The two of us pay well over 75-80 euros and we simply can't afford that in the long run. A real shame.

Almost 20 euros unlimited. But the choice of rolls that travel around the table is very modest. Nothing with Philadelphia cheese. The pieces of red fish on top are very small. Tasty, yes, but is it worth the money spent, that's the question. A menu without pictures is bad practice in a sushi restaurant. But there are few such establishments in this region, so we have what we have. Beer 4 euros is a bit expensive for such an establishment.

Very unfriendly reception from a really unbalanced employee who starts discussions for no reason and wants to tell the guest how he should behave. Sentences like: “That’s not how it works here” are used. You don't feel welcome here. We enjoyed being here, but congratulations! You have lost two regular guests and we are not planning the next company party here either.

Excellent sushi and Asian cuisine, all fresh and homemade. I come from HN with many sushi restaurants in the area, but if 🍱 then only to SHA. The food has always been freshly prepared and delicious. In addition, the portions are great and the prices are also reasonable. The ambience is okay, but the seating is very tight and, depending on where you sit, there is very little distance from the neighboring table. All employees are friendly, drinks and food are delivered quickly.

Unfortunately, price-performance has declined significantly recently. The sushi has become thinner and the filling (e.g. cream cheese) is less pure than before, which means that the sushi becomes a little dry depending on the type. Still good sushi, but it's a shame if you know what it used to be like there. I'm happy for the owners that the shop is becoming more popular, but at peak times you're now sitting crammed together table to table, which can be very annoying and makes it impossible to have a private conversation.

For me the best sushi in the region

My kids love sushi and we ate there recently. The sushi and duck were delicious, but we had to wait forever, it was literally an hour. This meant we had to order drinks again, which then drove up the bill. The lady who served us wasn't nice at all. So my conclusion - never again, especially not with children. I just read the older reviews from other visitors and looked at photos. Looking at the photos of sushi from the assembly line, you can see that a year ago there were 4 pieces of sushi on each plate. Now there are 2.

The food was very boring (sushi all you can eat). Consisting of chicken with rice, and salmon and rice. Worst selection I've ever had. The waitress was very pissed off.

The food was quite okay. However, the service was disastrous! We sat down on a table outside... an employee saw us because he was also outside at the time. Afterwards another employee came and made it clear to us that we had to come in first to let us know that we wanted to sit outside..!? What do you put tables outside for? That is your job, to see whether guests are coming or where they are sitting and not the job of a guest! In addition, the waiter was very unfriendly, no greeting, no farewell, absolutely unfriendly. There was no soy sauce etc. with the sushi. He was very friendly to regular guests and unfortunately very unfriendly to us. Please understand.

I've eaten here a few times and I've never been disappointed! Both the food and the service leave nothing to be desired and are very important here. The Masusake is a real asset to Schwäbisch Hall! My recommendation are the dark buckwheat noodles, with vegetables and duck, with teriyaki sauce ❤️ Thank you very much and see you next time! ❤️

By far my favorite restaurant in Schwäbisch Hall! I have already brought countless relatives and friends with me, all of whom agreed with me after the visit. Everyone will find what they are looking for on the sushi menu - from standard maki and nigiri to unusual variations with different sauces, everything is there. Every single roll is freshly prepared by the chefs (in front of you) and that's why you get the best quality and freshness here. For this reason, it is completely acceptable to have to wait a while for your food (and we're not talking about absurd waiting times). In addition to the sushi, all other dishes are of the highest quality and can only be recommended. My recommendation: The various clay pot dishes, for example with duck. Be sure to check out Masusake on your next visit to Schwäbisch Hall!

Mit Abstand mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Schwäbisch Hall! Ich habe bereits unzählige Verwandte und Freunde mitgebracht, die nach dem Besuch alle meiner Meinung waren. Auf der Sushi Karte wird jeder fündig - von Standard Maki, Nigiri bis ausgefallene Variationen mit unterschiedlichen Saucen ist alles dabei. Jede einzelne Rolle wird frisch von den Köchen (vor deinen Augen) zubereitet und deshalb bekommt man hier die beste Qualität und Frische. Aus diesem Grund ist es auch völlig vertretbar, dass man etwas auf sein Essen warten muss (wobei wir von keinen absurden Wartezeiten reden). Neben dem Sushi sind aber auch alle anderen Speisen von höchster Qualität und nur zu empfehlen. Meine Empfehlung: Die verschiedenen Tontopfgerichte bspw. mit Ente. Bei eurem nächsten Schwäbisch Hall Besuch also unbedingt das Masusake auschecken!

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. It's been a long time since we've eaten here and it's just a downgrade from back then. We sat at Running Sushi and by 5:30 p.m. the band was completely full. After about 1 hour, only the last 15 plates were left that no one wanted to eat and the next time they were refilled wasn't until 7:30 p.m. - very sobering. One of us had to wait over an hour for our food. We were briefly surprised that the prices for the individual plates at Running Sushi had become much cheaper, but after thinking about it for a moment we realized that there was twice as much on the plate at the time. Now it's relatively half the amount for more money. Also, the sushi has become much thinner, so you eat more. There was only one nigiri on the plate and it cost €2.80!! So the bottom line is that I paid almost €50 for myself, which I find very expensive. I probably won't come again as it's a rip off in my opinion.

The food was okay so far, but it's not exactly pleasant when, despite having a reservation, you are squeezed in the middle and don't even have 20cm of space between you and the next table (tables have to be pushed completely next to the table neighbors in order to even be able to sit down). Cleanliness is now only given small attention there. Dust and cobwebs falling from the ceiling and the bowls for the soy sauce with grease fingerprints. A pity. Next time a different sushi restaurant will be preferred 🤷‍♀️

Waiting 1.5 hours for the food is just too long. Unfortunately, Suhsi is no longer what it used to be. 2 years ago I easily gave it 5 stars.

Das Sushi Restaurant ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Personal war auch sehr Nett. Zu dem Essen. Es war traumhaft , einfach lecker und Hier isst das Auge definitiv mit. Auch das Essen auf dem Band ist nie Eintönig und ständig kommen andere Rollen zum Essen. Empfehlenswert ist es auf jeden Fall ein Tisch zu Reservieren!

Generally we had a bad experience in this place . Food was super late .We order and it came after one hour and thirty minutes .Service guys also weren’t in their best day and finally food was decent but not something special .

Wir haben um 17:30 reserviert etwas bestellt zum Essen, jedoch kam es erst gegen 19 Uhr an. Wir haben an der Sushi Recke Plätze bekommen obwohl wir reserviert haben an einem Tisch. Egal ich hatte schon richtig Hunger. Wir haben verschiedenes bestellt Sushi wirf frisch vor einem gemacht so hat es auch geschmeckt bin Sushi Fan und das war eine 10/10. 😍die hausgemachte limo würde ich nicht mehr nehmen sieht eig nur schön aus mehr net ne Cola wäre geeigneter. Preislich auch wie bei jedem Sushi Restaurant

The food tasted amazing!!! That is my opening....and I would give a 4.5 star for this location. I know sushi is on the higher end of price ranges, so I knew that the prices were higher. But the price performance I would have to say top! It looked and tasted amazing. There is a lot going on, so it is good to book in advance. And depending on where you sit, it is or can be crowded and sometimes loud. The waiters were very friendly. Sometimes, it took some time to get the food. Some wqiting times in-between.

Essen sehr gut, leider sehr eng aber die Kellner alle nett und auf zack. Sehr gut fand ich das alle miteinander deutsch gesprochen haben, man hat sich einfach wohl gefühlt.

Nous demander de partir a 21h et ne pas payer son verre de saké après une note de 560€ c’est pas très commerçant. Les sushi sont bon et bien fait, mais rien ni de transcendent ni de traditionnel. Le service n’est ni agréable ni competent, répéter 4 fois la commande puis faire tourner les assiettes pour retrouver qui a commander quoi. On a le sentiment de déranger.

Wunderschön angerichtetes Essen, freundliches Personal und eine sehr leckere vegane Auswahl. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

Not bad, I have also been to better places. The kimchi is just fine, would not recommend it. The fish sauce is either too much or bad quality, can't tell. We also had sushi with fried potatoes, which turned out to be bad quality fries and it just cooled down too fast, would not recommend it. But very big vegan and vegetarian options. Not kimchi dough

Unschlagbar! Das Esser war frisch, lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Wir haben sofort einen Platz an der Sushi Bar bekommen und hatten eine große Auswahl. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zu zweit an einem Samstag Vormittag. Eine Reservierung war nicht nötig. Unser Sushi war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind in Ordnung! Am 08.10.2023 waren wir abends um 19 Uhr essen. Unbedingt davor reservieren. Das essen war mega lecker. 60.- € für 2 Personen.

Curry ganz gut, Sushi Durchschnitt, wenn man beim Mittagstisch über 1h auf das Essen wartet (obwohl der Laden leer war als man um 11.35 da war) läuft etwas schief.

Wenn Sushi dann würde ich immer zum Running Sushi raten. Wir wählten das SamstagMittagsbuffet zu 18,90 pP. Neben dem großen Running Tisch gibt es noch zusätzliche Plätze innen wie auch draussen. Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam. Ich fand die Sushi hier kreativ und in der Menge sehr ausreichend. Getränke auch im oberen Preissegment.

Eigentlich wollte ich für das Ambiente nur vier Sterne geben, weil die Bestuhlung schon etwas eng ist. Aber das ist der starken Frequenz des Restaurants geschuldet, weil das Essen einfach klasse ist. Deshalb doch die fünf Sterne.

Sehr gute Auswahl an Sushi Platten für 2 Personen. Die geschmacklich und auch sehr kreativ angerichtet sind. Auf den Platten ist immer reichlich von allem für 2 Personen angerichtet. Das Laufband ist immer reichlich gedeckt. Auch die Cocktails sind klasse. Wer Sushi mag sollte hier her kommen.

Essen war lecker und schön angerichtet. Schade war nur, dass es keine Speisen für Kinder gab. Haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, war aber auch viel los.

Essen ist lecker, verbunden mit etwas Wartezeit, was davon kommt, weil so viele Leute dort Essen...aber wir nehmen die etwas längere Wartezeit gerne in Kauf 😋😋 ...mein Favorit sind die Tontopf Gerichte. Die gibt's mit verschiedenen Soßen. Lecker.

Sushi vom Band mittags all you can eat zu gutem Preis, leider eher Sushi oft mit maximal Lachs als Fisch, aber bei dem Preis verständlich... Ein Völlegefühl ist trotzdem garantiert und lecker ist es auch, wobei der Reis aus Sättigungsgründen dominiert..

Das Warten hat sich sehr gelohnt. War sehr lecker. Kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Ambiente in der Altstadt von Schw‘hall. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht und diesem Umstand vielleicht geschuldet, dass wir 50 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet haben. Etwas ins der Planung hat dazu geführt, dass das warme Menü schon da war, und das zweite Essen nicht kam. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass das Essen für zwei Personen zeitgleich serviert wird. Wäre ich nicht aufgestanden um nachzufragen, ob das Sushi noch kommt weis ich nicht ob jemand vom Personal noch gefragt hätte. Es gelang mir nämlich nicht die Aufmerksamkeit der vorbeilaufenden Kellner auf die Distanz zu erlangen. Das drückte den Gesamteindruck der ansonsten sehr ordentlichen handwerklichen Küchenleistung. Wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn wir bereits bei der Bestellung schon den Hinweis erhalten hätten, dass es „heute“ etwas länger dauert. Dann hätten wir eine Vorspeise nehmen können und wären daher nicht knapp eine Stunde hungrig am Tisch gesessen.

Whenever my friends and I decide to treat ourselves with some Sushi or Thai Churry, MasuSake is our choice in Schwäbisch Hall. The food and the atmosphere are reliable and we up till now always had a good time. Thank you, dear MasuSake Team.

Wir waren zu viert zum Essen hier (keine Sushi) und waren alle restlos begeistert. Toller Service und super Essen. Ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Die Sessel im Freien könnten angenehmer sein, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Nachdem ich bereits 2 Bewertungen verfasst habe und dabei das Personal kritisiert hatte, kommt hier jetzt das Lob. Ich war in den vergangen Monaten mehrfach dort. Und siehe da, Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Freut einen ja dann doch, wenn man ein Restaurant ohne Zweifel empfehlen kann. Das Sushi ist nach wie vor sehr lecker. Deshalb jetzt 5 von 5 mit dem Hang zum Extrapunkt für die spürbare Verbesserung. Gut gemacht.

Haben um 18:10 Uhr "to go" am Restaurant bestellt. Gesagt wurde uns, dauert 40 min. Um 19:20 Uhr haben wir dann das Essen erhalten. Sorry geht absolut nicht. Hatten ein 2 jähriges Kind dabei und haben vor der Tür bei 2°C gewartet. Wenn es schon länger dauert gehört auch soviel Ehrlichkeit dazu, dass es bei der Bestellung auch gesagt wird. 2 Sterne trotzdem, da das Essen top war.

Haben vorbestellt. Haben es abgeholt und war nur die Hälfte dabei, habe nicht mal was um sonst bekommen. Werden dort nie wieder bestellen richtige abzocke!!! Gerichte werden trotzdem abgezogen aber nicht abgegeben.....

Heute waren wir wieder einmal im Masusake. Bisher sind wir hier sehr gerne hingegangen, denn das Personal war immer höflich und das Sushi super. Leider hatte die weibliche Bedienung heute einen schlechten Tag und war äußerst unfreundlich. Wir hatten eine Miso Suppe und Frühlingsrollen sowie diverse Sushi und Sashimi bestellt (siehe Bilder). Die Suppe und Frühlingsrollen waren ok. Leider war das Sushi sehr unsorgfältig und lieblos gemacht. Der Sashimi Lachs eher fahl und ohne Geschmack.

Zwar war ich schon vor ein paar Monaten hier, aber ich habe seither kein besseres Sushi gegessen. Wir waren an einem Samstag hier am Band und haben jeden einzelnen Teller genossen 😌 Zwar gibt es hier nicht wie in anderen Läden Nudeln und andere warme Gerichte auf dem Band, aber dafür echt gut gemachtes Sushi in verschiedenen Sorten. Was ich trotzdem nie verstehen werde ist, warum man welche mit Surimi machen muss. Aber das kostet an dieser Stelle keinen Stern.

Sehr gute Essensquälitat, sowohl beim Sushi als auch bei allem anderen. Wenn man Sushi von der Karte bestellt und nicht vom Band ist, muss man unter Umständen etwas länger warten. Punkt Abzug für den Service...der ist nicht immer freundlich, sogar abweisend manchmal!

Wir haben zu viert jeder ein anderes Gericht gewählt. Die Qualität war durchweg sehr gut. Drei Personen waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrer Wahl. Ein guter schneller freundlicher Service, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten.

Das Sushi ist gut aber nicht dass man ins Schwärmen kommen würde. Preislich sehr gut, zum Beispiel Udon Suppe für knapp 3€
