For those who love pizza and its variations, whether "alla teglia" or "alla Romana," I'd say this place is perfect. A good variety of focaccias in various flavors, both classic and gourmet. The crust is crispy and flaky, with an extraordinary lightness on the palate. The owners are kind and welcoming, as is the waitress. The place isn't large, but it's warm and welcoming. The price is fair and reasonable for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back.

Be sure to make a reservation. It's not cheap, but the price is completely justified for the quality you get. The pizzas are excellent. Many different varieties are available at the counter, and more are available upon request. The two pizzaiolos truly make their own dishes with attention to detail.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Augsburg for me, and the only one that serves Roman pizza, as far as I know. Every variety I've tried so far has been amazing! Whether it's takeout or eat-in, it always tastes excellent.

The only thing I find a bit disappointing is that, while the pizza varieties are very unusual, they almost never offer meat-based options. They're only available upon request. But the quality is top-notch.

Maserico - run by an Italian family - is a wonderful place for lunch during work or an Italian snack in between. The ambience is rather simple, like a typical Roman pizzeria. You can eat original Italian pizza by the slice. We have now tried ten different varieties, all of which were very good. My favorite is the carbonara. There is also good Italian coffee and a 10% bonus card for regular customers.

The concept of this pizza restaurant is special. For me they have the best pizza I have ever eaten in Germany🥹🥹 I liked the carbonara taste the best. And definitely VERY VERY friendly team :)

I looked forward to the lunch break every day at vocational school so I could either eat a pizza here or take it with me. 100% recommended. We ate pizza here with friends and I have to say: the pizza is simply fantastic - like in Italy! The dough is airy and soft while the base is crispy. You can tell that there is real craftsmanship behind it. What's particularly nice is that there are always new pizza creations, so it never gets boring. You can only order pizza at the counter, as can drinks such as Aperol - everything else you take yourself from the fridge. It's not a classic restaurant, but more of a bistro. Therefore, you should definitely reserve in advance, otherwise it can be difficult to get a place. The service is top! The team works with noticeable passion and that makes the visit particularly pleasant. One negative point is the ambience: the decor is simple and rather functional, making it feel more like a snack bar than a cozy restaurant. It can also be a bit cold in winter. Nevertheless: If you are looking for authentic, really good Italian pizza, you have come to the right place! Absolute recommendation.

Unique pizza! The base was super thin and super crunchy! When the pizza was ready, the employee also sprinkled it with basil and parsley, which made it look fabulous. The staff as a whole is also incredibly nice and friendly. The place was full, but you can understand that because of the good pizza. We'd love to come back.

Because of the rave reviews, we ended up here on the evening of a candlelight concert. First of all, our expectations were not met. We were a bit stressed because it took us half an hour to find a parking space nearby (200m radius). Parking garage also full. Our table reservation worked, which was a good thing because it's full here around 7 p.m. The decor is simple and rather cool, which suited the temperature in the room perfectly...frosty. You either leave your jacket on or freeze (even with a thick sweater). 20 minutes passed and the waitress skillfully ignored us. When we asked at the next table we were told that we should order at the counter. It's okay, but they could have told us. No sooner said than done. Visually appealing pizza slices costing €4.5 to €5 each. Not particularly big at that. We found the price/performance to be a bit marginal. They were “delivered” in 15 minutes. Without comment and without cutlery. So go back to the counter and get cutlery yourself. We had 4 pieces of pizza corner. Dough very crispy, but overall the taste is rather flat and not very spicy. Well, luckily you don't get tired due to the lack of/less cheese. We were in a hurry and were happy to get away from the cold restaurant. All in all 3 stars in our opinion. Pizza was just about 4 with a lot of goodwill. But we found the service and ambience definitely only worth 2 stars. How the (current) 5.0 rating on Google comes about is at least a bit of a mystery to me. Here we are again with mixed feelings, cold here, very cold,

Rarely have I experienced a restaurant that consistently offers products of such outstanding quality. Particularly noteworthy are the two main characters of the house, whose charm and warmth invite you to return weekly. Their hospitality creates a pleasant synergy and a welcoming atmosphere that you won't soon forget. For me, the Maserico is also the perfect address when a celebration is coming up.
