Unique pizza! The base was super thin and super crunchy! When the pizza was ready, the employee also sprinkled it with basil and parsley, which made it look fabulous. The staff as a whole is also incredibly nice and friendly. The place was full, but you can understand that because of the good pizza. We'd love to come back.

Because of the rave reviews, we ended up here on the evening of a candlelight concert. First of all, our expectations were not met. We were a bit stressed because it took us half an hour to find a parking space nearby (200m radius). Parking garage also full. Our table reservation worked, which was a good thing because it's full here around 7 p.m. The decor is simple and rather cool, which suited the temperature in the room perfectly...frosty. You either leave your jacket on or freeze (even with a thick sweater). 20 minutes passed and the waitress skillfully ignored us. When we asked at the next table we were told that we should order at the counter. It's okay, but they could have told us. No sooner said than done. Visually appealing pizza slices costing €4.5 to €5 each. Not particularly big at that. We found the price/performance to be a bit marginal. They were “delivered” in 15 minutes. Without comment and without cutlery. So go back to the counter and get cutlery yourself. We had 4 pieces of pizza corner. Dough very crispy, but overall the taste is rather flat and not very spicy. Well, luckily you don't get tired due to the lack of/less cheese. We were in a hurry and were happy to get away from the cold restaurant. All in all 3 stars in our opinion. Pizza was just about 4 with a lot of goodwill. But we found the service and ambience definitely only worth 2 stars. How the (current) 5.0 rating on Google comes about is at least a bit of a mystery to me. Here we are again with mixed feelings, cold here, very cold,

Rarely have I experienced a restaurant that consistently offers products of such outstanding quality. Particularly noteworthy are the two main characters of the house, whose charm and warmth invite you to return weekly. Their hospitality creates a pleasant synergy and a welcoming atmosphere that you won't soon forget. For me, the Maserico is also the perfect address when a celebration is coming up. A simple phone call is enough and the “Ragazzi” will prepare the outstanding pizzas according to my wishes. Bravo, Maserico! E grazie per l'espresso! 🫶🏽

Came here by chance, left happily. Be sure to stop here straight after a holiday in Italy, you will immediately feel like you are in Italy again. A super committed and happy team, good pizza, away from the monotony, a nice wine with a delicious limoncello afterward. For me it was the perfect end to the day. A must and must on my next visit to Augsburg. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

This humble looking restaurant serves really good (Roman-Style) Pizza. The dough texture is amazing and they have a variety of toppings that are different everyday. Love the fact that I can try several flavours at once due to the portion size! Friendly staff and reasonable price, highly recommend 😊

Outstanding pizza dough, very exciting tasty toppings and cool atmosphere. More like a snack bar but definitely with style! Super nice and fast team! You simply choose the slices of pizza you want from the display at the front and, after warming them up briefly, they are brought to your table in a completely relaxed manner. The pieces are not cheap relative to the size, but the taste is absolutely worth it!

Maserico - run by an Italian family - is a wonderful place for lunch during work or an Italian snack in between. The ambience is rather simple, like a typical Roman pizzeria. You can eat original Italian pizza by the slice. We have now tried ten different varieties, all of which were very good. My favorite is the carbonara. There is also good Italian coffee and a 10% bonus card for regular customers.

There is no better pizza in Augsburg! It's no longer an insider tip, but the pizza creations are simply amazing. Try the pizza with potatoes and vitello tonnato. I come regularly and always very, very happy.

I would honestly say I really enjoyed the food! It's worth 5 stars. 👍 If you can't eat intensely and want to eat some fruit, I recommend doing it with figs. And we all love the one with sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, simply recommended.

A pizzeria of a slightly different kind: you go to the counter, choose between around 8 types of pizza, the pieces are then warmed up and brought to the table, you take mineral water from the fridge. The pizzas all taste good. The restaurant is functionally furnished, but without a special atmosphere, a few tables on the street. Service quick and friendly.

Delicious pizza and great ambience! I was there recently and I have to say, the pizza with Roman dough is to die for! Super crispy and tastes great. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell that quality is important here. The ambience is really nice. You immediately feel at home, also thanks to the friendly staff.

Pizzeria al taglio like in Italy, especially like in Rome. You can smell the smell of the pizza before you walk in and it took me back to my childhood. A little pearl in Augsburg city center that definitely shouldn't be missed. The pizza is crispy and the toppings are all very tasty and of great quality. Tiramisù is truly homemade and not simply "homemade" as other sophisticated restaurants claim. I would really recommend the pizzeria to everyone :)

I would prefer the one with gorgonzola and peer without honey cuz honey just makes it way to sweet for my personal taste. If you are not a big fan of sweet thing, you can tell the owner in advance not to put it on top (cuz they put it by default). The experience is nice, the owners are also very friendly, the vice is cute, the price is affordable. Highly recommend👌🏻

The best pizzas I have eaten in Augsburg.

Finally a pizza like I know from the south of Italy. I learned to appreciate and love them in exactly the same way over 50 years ago in Benevento, i.e. in Basilicata and the Campagna. Lots of fluffy and at the same time crispy dough with a few, very good ingredients and olive oil that develop their full aroma because there isn't that much of it on top. Eating one or two pieces with pleasure is enough. A real win for Augsburg, a pizza bakery that could stand 1 to 1 in a southern Italian city.

Absolute recommendation! Rarely have I had such a delicious and fresh pizza. We tried 7 different varieties and without exception, all of them were incredibly tasty. And the two boys are incredibly friendly and always in a good mood :) You feel very comfortable in the store and the atmosphere is great. We are already looking forward to the next time.

This pizza is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life, every time I eat it I look forward to the next one. When you go in you are always smiled at very nicely, the two of them are super nice and always make my day. I mean look at the reviews,,,,,, which other restaurant only has 5 star reviews!?!?!??!!??! That must mean something!!!! And the SMELL OF THE PIZZA!! AND THE DOUGH!!!! Perfect really, soft on the inside and crispy on the bottom, the edge is also simply the best. The best is the carbonara pizza with bacon, cheese and egg yolk omg. The price is also really great for this unique taste experience!! But the best thing is to watch how herbs, basil and olive oil are put on the pieces before the pizza is wrapped, the best experience really!!!! Best pizzeria in Augsburg, the dough is made with love and incredibly delicious. And the employees have an incredible charisma that I leave with a smile every time. One day I was eating with them when I didn't have enough cash and it was a given for them to give us the pizzas for free. Where else can you get something for free these days? I will never forget that 😍

We are regularly on site and love the consistently high quality. The pizzas are crispy and delicious both when eaten on site and when picked up. The two owners are also likeable, use high-quality ingredients and are always friendly and accommodating (once they had less in the box than they paid for when they picked them up, and on the next visit they got the overpaid pizza slices on the house). There are new variations and of course the classics on a regular basis - I hope the shop stays open for a long time.

A very nice restaurant. We had asked the day before whether we could come with more than twelve people, and everything was very simple and uncomplicated. I think the best thing is the selection of pizzas. If you can't find anything here, you can't help it. About vegan, vegetarian, with and without meat/vegetables/cheese. Anyone who loves focaccia will feel loved at Masericó. Nice service, fresh focaccias and enough seating for the small but very nice shop. Prices per piece range from €3-5 and are fair. Choice of 6+ different varieties. 10/10!

Best taste I was in Rome a few months ago and ate Pisa there, but Maserico's tastes much better with all the new fresh creations (truffles, buffalo mozzarella...) and the delicious dough. The 2 owners do a good job. The restaurant is central and in a quiet location. Ambience is also nice. I'll definitely be back but often :)
