One of the best restaurant experiences in a long time. We had to wait a bit for our table, but the staff made every effort to compensate us for this, and the service and food were absolutely top-notch! Super friendly staff! Highly recommended.

We had the vegetarian (or one portion even specifically vegan) lunch menu, which was delicious, with great, very friendly service. It's especially suitable for vegans; there's an entire page of purely vegan dishes, vegan bread specialties (including naan!), and vegan lassis.

Very tasty food, both meat and vegetarian. The staff is very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is conveniently located in the old town and is therefore very easy to reach both on foot and by car. Parking is available at any time in the adjacent parking garage. The interior is very attractive, and in the summer, seating is available in a small courtyard. Update from August 27, 2025 We were there for dinner today. As always, exceptionally delicious and highly recommended. And they also deliver to your home without the need for Lieferando. Just ask.

We were in the restaurant's back garden. We ordered Tikka Masala and the platter for one person, which offers four dishes to try. The staff is super fun, you feel very comfortable there, and the food was excellent. We highly recommend it and will definitely eat there again.

Unfortunately, the delivery wasn't that great. The duck was the driest we've ever had. The breaded cheese was dried-out halloumi. The stews were okay, I'd say. 3 stars for the mango lassi.

We went there for dinner with the family. It was our adult daughter's birthday. We were served very friendly right from the start. The staff kept making jokes, so we had a lot of fun. At the end we were surprised with a small table fireworks display. It was a very nice evening... The food was super tasty and the price-performance ratio was completely fine. My absolute favorite restaurant! Masala is my “go-to” place – not only because the food is incredibly delicious, but also because of the unique atmosphere and the warmest team imaginable. I come from the catering industry myself and can say with conviction: Everything is just right here. The entire staff is consistently friendly, courteous and simply human. Since I'm a regular here, I'm now even greeted with a handshake - a gesture that's become rare these days, but always puts a smile on my face. What I particularly appreciate: After dinner there is almost always a liqueur or chai on the house - a loving tradition that hardly anyone maintains anymore. And it's exactly these little things that make Masala so special. I often get a little something extra without even asking - be it a small greeting from the kitchen or a drink. Like today, for example: I was there with friends, we relaxed and drank cocktails - and the boss personally came to our table and brought us shots on the house. Just like that. This is real service and pure warmth! Even if I order something to-go and have to wait a moment, I am always offered a lassi - also on the house, of course. And once when I didn't want one, I just got a soda bottle instead - you have to imagine that! In a time when efficiency is often the only focus, such personal, sincere interaction is simply priceless. And most important: the food! It's a pleasure every time. More than 5 stars would be appropriate here - an experience every time. Dear Masala team, you are great! Thank you for your warmth, your trust and for every single time that I can feel at home with you. I love your food, your service and your restaurant – stay exactly as you are!

I/we can highly recommend this restaurant, no matter whether on site / collection or delivery. I recently ordered and the food was delivered before the requested time, it arrived warm and very nicely (and safely) packaged. The ordering system via the website works without any problems. I can only report positive things when visiting the restaurant, spontaneous reservations have always been possible, and the service is great, the service staff are always friendly and attentive. I can only report positive things and only recommend this restaurant.

I have rarely met such nice, polite and motivated waitresses. We are regular guests at Marsala and have never been disappointed. I don't know what was worse - the food or the service. The starter came cold, the main course was either an experiment or an accident, and the dessert smelled like the fridge. The waiter consistently ignored us, except to tell us that “it was busy today” – in a half-empty restaurant. Atmosphere? More of a waiting room vibe. Never again.

Absolutely disappointing. As soon as I arrived I had the feeling that I wasn't welcome here. The service was rude, annoyed and completely disinterested. The food arrived cold and tasted subpar - even a frozen pizza would have been a better choice. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, dirt and dust everywhere. For what is on offer here, every cent is too much. Never again – stay away!

I really can't believe how bad this restaurant is. The ambience is dreary and uncomfortable. We had to wait almost 45 minutes before anyone even noticed us. When the food finally came, it was cold. Never again!

Delivery: Ordered at 6:11 p.m., should arrive at around 7:05 p.m. After asking three times, the supplier was on site at 8:10 p.m. Food was nothing special, naan was rubbery and order was unrelatable and incorrect.
