Masala Dabba - Indisches Restaurant in Düren

Our visit to Masala Dabba on May 3rd, 2025 was a completely successful culinary experience! The reservation was easy and friendly. The three of us were warmly welcomed on site and seated in a beautiful, authentically Indian atmosphere - a real eye-catcher with atmospheric decoration! The service was attentive, courteous and competent throughout the entire evening when it came to menu recommendations. The cuisine impressed us with authentic flavors. An all-round perfect evening with the highest level of hospitality – we will definitely be back!

Absolutely recommended. Great food, great service. She noticed that it was our first time here and she kindly showed me how to eat the food. It doesn't get any better. Here guests are really treated as guests. A bit loud and you're basically sitting in the kitchen. You can see it negatively but also positively. A little better air wouldn't be a bad thing if it was fully occupied. We'll definitely be back 👌

There were 5 people there. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, despite the restaurant being full. The food was really delicious. From starter to dessert. If the portions are a bit large, packing it up and taking it with you isn't a problem either. There is enough choice for vegetarians and vegans.

Always the best Indian restaurant in Düren

The lady who served us was extremely friendly and easy-going. Our questions were answered competently and with humor. The food is very good and the menu is clear and understandable. The starters and the mango chutney served with them are particularly recommended. We will 100% come back when we are in the area.

Finally there is an Indian restaurant in Düren! We were in Düren on a Sunday evening and because of the good reviews we decided to visit. Like so many others, I also have to praise the service: nice, quick, competent. I assume she is the owner, such commitment is rare. The food is good. For us it could have been sharper, but others will definitely see it differently and the restaurant itself has to take a middle path first. We had two thalis, one with shrimps and one vegetarian, pappadums and nan were also included. When we are in Düren again, we will definitely stop by again. Best regards!

Super enthusiastic, service friendly and accommodating, the food is incredibly tasty and if you find it too spicy, you can ask for something to be toned down in advance, which doesn't benefit the taste. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Gladly again at any time

Looooooove their cauliflower starter. Butter chicken is the best I have tried, extremely soft and juicy. The service is always so nice! And the place is cozy and quiet. I am a very picky person, and I love everything about this place.

We went to Masala Dabba for the first time today. We are completely thrilled. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food was simply really tasty and so well prepared. We will definitely come back. Reservations on the weekend are definitely recommended.

Attentive, extremely friendly service staff, but it's difficult to do it alone. The open kitchen and space looks inviting, clean and well maintained. The taste of the food is really typically Indian: well seasoned, well served, large portions and really tasty. The prices are unbeatable. The only small point of criticism: If the store is full, the friendly service staff has a lot to do on their own, but makes up for it with their honesty and friendliness.

We had fried cauliflower florets as a starter, prawns tikka and butter chicken as mains. Both dishes are medium spiciness. I'm fine with that.

After Oliver Pocher & Sandy were there, we of course had to convince ourselves of the Masala Dabba in Düren. It has now become our regular restaurant. All employees, including the head of service, are incredibly nice, funny and hospitable. The gentlemen run the kitchen and create the most delicious Indian dishes. Add a cool Kingfisher beer and there is one culinary highlight after another. Try it out! We have now eaten our way through the entire map. We can highly recommend Masala Dabba. Many greetings say the HENRY's (with the extra portion of rice....)

Really enjoyed the very tasty dishes. We opted for mixed thali and grilled beef Tikka. It was a great selection. Service was very friendly, fast and just super organised. We really enjoyed our meal and sure to visit again. The atmosphere is really nice with nice instrumental background music, not classical but filmy with touches of a.r.rahman.

We were warmly welcomed and seated by the very friendly owner. The restaurant is very nice and modernly decorated. The underlying Indian background music and the pleasant smells of Indian cuisine allow you to immerse yourself directly in the Indian world. The service was very polite, courteous and quick. Questions about the various dishes on the menu were immediately answered in a friendly manner. Every dish we ordered was to die for. High-quality ingredients are combined here to create the most wonderful dishes... From the starters to the main courses, we all enjoyed it very much. Here you can tell that cooking is done with love. The price/performance ratio is also great. Since that first great experience at Masala Dabba, we have now ordered food to-go for the office several times. We pre-ordered several dishes by phone. And they were picked up on time without any problems. All dishes were perfect and nicely packaged. The ordering process was smooth! We can recommend this restaurant without a doubt! Unser Stammrestaurant für die Mittagspause 🤩🤩🤩 Wir waren vor einigen Monaten mit unserem Büro das erste mal im Masala Dabba während unserer Mittagspause essen und waren erstaunt. Wir wurden herzlich von der sehr freundlichen Inhaberin in Empfang genommen und platziert. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Die unterschwellige indische Hintergrundmusik sowie die angenehmen Gerüche der indischen Küche lassen einen direkt in die indische Welt eintauchen. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und zügig. Fragen zu den verschiedenen Gerichten in der Speisekarte wurden sofort freundlich beantwortet. Jedes Gericht, was wir bestellt hatten, war ein Traum. Hochwertige Zutaten werden hier zu wunderbarsten Gerichten kombiniert…. Von den Vorspeisen bis zu den Hauptgerichten hat es uns allen super geschmeckt. Hier merkt man, dass mit Liebe gekocht wird. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis ist auch top. Seit diesem ersten tollen Erlebnis im Masala Dabba haben wir nun auch schon mehrmals das Essen fürs Büro To-Go bestellt. Es wurden mehrere Gerichte von uns telefonisch vorbestellt. Und konnten pünktlich ohne Probleme abgeholt werden. Alle Gerichte waren perfekt und ansehnlich eingepackt. Der Bestellablauf war reibungslos! My first visit to this restaurant. The service and attentiveness of the staff was simply great! The food was so delicious that it was gone before I could take a photo of it :-) Something else that struck me as very positive: No stupid looks - I'm overweight and I'm always worried about getting stupid looks when I go out to eat. This wasn't the case here and kudos for that! I would love to come back!

Wir waren zu dritt an einem Samstag Abend dort und es war für uns alle das erste Mal, dass wir dort waren. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Getränke kamen schnell und danach wurden wir bei der Speisenbestellung eingehend beraten, auf alle Fragen bekamen wir eine erklärende Antwort. Die Gerichte, wir hatten Vorspeise und Hauptgericht, waren reichlich, geschmacklich hervorragend und auch ansprechend serviert und präsentiert. Es wurde mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir noch einen Wunsch hätten, aber nie aufdringlich oder nervig. Stets sehr freundlich. Fazit: Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal hier, wir kommen gerne wieder und können es auch jedem empfehlen, der gutes indisches Essen mag. Vielen Dank für den netten Abend.

We were here for the first time today and will 100% come back here to eat. Super nice people. Very good food. Even if we had reserved a table for lunch, we could sit anywhere. It was perfect, not too sharp, not too fluffy, well tuned. The ratio between rice sauce and meat was also good. And our clear recommendation is to try the homemade mango lassi, it's bomb and I say that if you don't like mango.
