Marktplatz Unna Westfalen in Unna

A great marketplace with lots of restaurants! The donkey is a symbolic figure of the city of Unna! The donkey served as a pack animal, long before the 17th century salt production was an important industry in Unna! After salt production, it was coal that ensured prosperity in Unna!

Nice square with some beautiful old buildings, there is also a beautiful church. I used to go there often with my parents. There is also an ice cream parlor, a café, a brasserie and some shops. Is worth a visit.
