Extremely disgusting conditions here, as traces of feces were recently discovered during an inspection. Incredibly disgusting and unhygienic employees. The old woman smokes cigarettes at the window and then serves customers without washing her hands. Who knows what else goes on in that place. If your health is important to you, I advise against eating here. P.S.: You can't buy the doner sauce separately, supposedly because of the recipe, but I fear there are entirely different reasons...

Unfortunately, the two ladies initially ignored my order. Instead, another customer who entered the store after me was served first. I found that disappointing.

Unfortunately, the Markt Grill is no longer what it used to be. The food tastes a lot like it used to – even if you come with a blood alcohol level of 0.2, it's not convincing. The hygiene also seems questionable, which further spoils my appetite. Another issue: There are no customer restrooms – or guests are simply denied access. Whether this is even legally acceptable is worth considering. For some time now, I've preferred to go to the Haus des Döner next door. The food tastes significantly better there, the kitchen seems clean, and the portions are absolutely reasonable.

I haven't tried my food yet, but the two old ladies who served us were the nicest and sweetest ladies I've ever seen, hence 5 stars.

Simply the best kebab in Hagen for 20 years, and our regular customers really appreciate it! The bread and sauce make it special, setting it apart from the standard kebab you're used to. Everything is fresh and delicious, a real recommendation!

I've lived in Hagen for 6 years and never eat anywhere other than Markt Grill! My husband has been a customer there for over 20 years. It's always very tidy, and you get prompt service. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating; we've never had any problems. !!!Once a week is a must!!! On hungry days, even more often during the week 🥳

Why go to Market Grill when there's Big Chef?

The doner tastes really good. The whole package is just right. My family and I got a doner here for just €6.50. It was full of meat and served with fresh salad, and the garlic sauce is also highly recommended 👍🏼 The meat may be steak, but for minced veal, it tastes above average and better than all the other run-of-the-mill doner shops in Hagen! It's worth trying!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit. Communication was extremely difficult because the staff apparently didn't understand German. This resulted in all orders being incorrect: • There was onion in every dish, even though we specifically didn't want any. • Two people had no sauce at all in their dishes. • Requests like “no fries in the kebab box” were completely ignored. It seems as if customer requests are not being addressed at all. Overall, the food was disappointing, and unfortunately so was the service. We definitely won't be coming back.

The kebab tastes great, there's nothing you can say against that, although I've caught the employees gossiping about customers several times (in Turkish), mostly banal things like "the customer's appearance", but something like that is an absolute No-go and should be communicated urgently that something like this shouldn't happen in the catering industry, as I said, apart from that, great kebabs and delicious food.

Not just the best kebab in Hagen. Our absolute favorite kebab. We now live over 200km away, but when we're home it's always worth a visit. The sauce, the chopped sheep's cheese and the lemon juice make it the best kebab.

When I asked the employee if he couldn't even wash his hands because he touched everything else, such as the door, the cash register, the money, a rag with which he wiped the table, he refused and said to me. If I care so much about hygiene, then I should eat at home. The boss stood next to him and didn't comment on the matter. If you answer the customer like that, I don't know how they work in the back of the kitchen. I canceled my meal. Unfortunately had a bad experience.

I am a huge foodie and kebab lover. I've eaten it all over Germany, the Balkans and even Turkey but this is by far the best, especially when it's made by the man in the picture then it's the best!!!

Opens at 10am. It's on Google and it's also out there. The lady who was cleaning said that this only applied until before Corona. 2 stars only because the woman was very nice.

The kebab here is packed nicely and is worth it. The saleswomen are nice. The ambience is very bad because of the fact that the ladies in the closed snack bar sit at the table next door and smoke, and there are no toilets, and cannot be given any stars. As far as I know, a toilet is required by law and smoking is also prohibited by law. I find it unhygienic to have a kebab made by fingers that were just holding cigarettes and haven't been washed. That does not work like this! No matter how sweet and nice you are and how good the food is, that's not possible!

Sechs Euro für ein Döner. Kaum Fleisch drin. War mal deutlich besser. Da gibt es andere Dönerbuden in der Nähe die günstiger und von der Qualität gleichwertig sind.

Seit Jahren der beste Döner in Hagen und Umgebung. Fahren regelmäßig von außerhalb nur hierfür nach Hagen. Die anderen Buden in der Nähe können bei weitem nicht mithalten.

Bester Döner in der Gegend, kommen extra von Dortmund immer hierhin.

Sicher kein schlechter Döner (für Hagen), aber auch nicht so gut wie alle ihn hier beschreiben. Ich bin halt sehr Ruhrpott verwöhnt und die besten Döner gibt es nun mal ab Bochum Richtung Duisburg!!! Alleine schon immer diese schreckliche Cocktailsoße hier in Westfalen, die versaut schon alles! 😆 Aber gut, die kann man ja weg lassen.

Ist halt eine Dönerbude, nichts um die Frau zu begeistern. Aber der Döner ist wirklich gut und dazu relativ günstig. Ich empfehle scharf. Müsst ihr wissen.

Lecker Döner und andere Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Samstag Abend dort gewesen. Zu Hauptzeit. Trotz der Menschen Menge ein super schneller und guter Service. Haben dort gegessen. Unser Döner wurde uns zum Platz gebracht.. Und uns wurde von ein weiteren Mitarbeiter der später gekommen ist ein guten Appetit gewünscht. Kommen immer wieder gern!!

Bester Döner in Hagen! Die Soßen schmecken mega und das Fleisch ist auch schön kross. Käse ist ohne Aufpreis mit drin 👍 man kann auch vor Ort essen, ist aber ein typisches Dönerbuden-Flair. Öffnungszeiten sind auch sehr Kundenorientiert, an Wochenenden sogar bis früh morgens 👍

Der Döner schmeckt immer wieder sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich esse immer wieder gerne im Marktgrill.

Bester Döner in Hagen, schon oft nach durchgezechten Nächten hier gelandet und immer zufrieden gewesen.

Der Döner ist prima aber auch teurer geworden. So wie jeder Anbieter von was auch immer möchte man wohl auch im Marktgrill einen Anteil von der Gaskrisenpreissteigerung mit bekommen... Trotzdem, der Döner schmeckt!...
