Excellent food at a reasonable price. The owner speaks Dutch.

We have made a reservation and arrived at the expected time. The waiter treated us extremely disrespectful and said that we needed to receive a confirmation e-mail(even though all the timeslots on the site were free to book). He also mentioned that most of the tables were reserved, but as we ate there only 1 table got busy. It was surprising because it appears the place had good reviews, which would mean the service would be also premium. Food was fine but quite pricey for the amount.

Yesterday we ate at Marani. The food was good, but the service was terrible. Our drinks were served, and then we had to wait an hour for our order. The children's drinks were already finished, and I wanted to order again, but no matter how hard I tried to call them, I couldn't. I even waved to the bartender, but unfortunately, no response. The same person was there when we asked for the bill. My daughter had ordered garlic bread, which we didn't receive... so there's a lot of work to be done in terms of service.

The presentation is beautiful; all the dishes are under-salted, but salt is on the table! The shashlik is delicious, medium-rare, and the tomato sauce is also delicious! Khinkali is a 3, Lobio in a pot is barely warm, also a 3, and the tolma with rice is also barely warm, also a 3. We recommend monitoring the temperature of the dishes you serve, especially in cold weather when you want warmth and comfort!

We had a bit of bad luck today. The staff was very friendly, but we had to go to the bar several times to reorder drinks. It wasn't very busy, only three tables were occupied. My Tolma (stuffed grape leaves) were delicious, but unfortunately, they arrived without the yogurt sauce listed on the menu. When I mentioned it, they brought sour cream instead, which was also good, but unfortunately, I had to pay extra for it. The same thing happened with the dumplings we ordered. The menu said they came with sour cream, but we were charged extra for those, even though they were part of the set menu. Since the young, friendly waitress barely understood German, I paid without much fuss. For us, the price-performance ratio wasn't right. It was a nice evening, and we made the best of it. There were six of us, and the food was okay, but unfortunately, it didn't completely win us over. We still want to thank you for a lovely evening, but we wouldn't visit again. Unfortunately. 💗🍀

When I'm old and gray, I'll sit my grandchildren on my lap and tell them about my visit to this restaurant. My stomach was full, and so was my heart. The service was fantastic, the prices fair, and I could communicate in literally every language here: Polish, Dutch, German, Czech, Russian… and even Klingon. I'll definitely come back here with my family someday, to relive together what good food should be like.

Really good kebab (and everything)

There were four of us. We liked the atmosphere. It was rustic and cozy, and not too loud. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, and we will definitely come back. The only thing my sons didn't like was the portion size of the meat. We had chicken and beef shashlik. But all in all, with the appetizer and dessert, it did satisfy everyone.

A very nice restaurant, very tasty. We ordered khinkali and khachapuri adjaruli. It was like being in Georgia, very tasty. And the drinks were also good: kindzmarauli and kwaas. We'll be back.

We ordered the ostri and tolma dish. We were very enthusiastic about the ostri. Deliciously tender beef with a fantastic vegetable mix. Wonderfully prepared. You can still taste a hint of the grilled meat. This dish was a bit lacking in rice or potatoes, so we added half of the rice from the tolma dish ourselves. That really rounded out the dish. We enjoyed the meatball rolls in vine leaves with the tolma. The rice lacked some flavor. It paired better with the ostri dish, as the sauce compensated for that somewhat. I would recommend a risotto with the tolma 😊 Both dishes are served with a small bowl of fresh salad, delicious! Everything is beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Pleasant music was playing, and as dinner approached, it was set at a comfortable volume. We don't mind it being too loud.

We received a friendly welcome. The staff was friendly and attentive. When ordering our dishes, we were informed that khachapuri with stuffed bread takes 20 minutes to prepare. This was sensible, so it wasn't a problem for us to sit down and enjoy the Georgian wine. We found the Imeruli khachapuri a bit too greasy. The Lobio hearty bean soup had a deliciously pure flavor. The pork shashlik was tender and pleasantly lightly spiced, while the Lula beef kebab was a bit more seasoned, which I also enjoyed. Both were cooked on a charcoal grill, as it should be in Georgian cuisine! The interior is nicely authentic, decorated in the style of a wine canteen, and just as the photos show. Only the plastic grass mat on the terrace next to the entrance gives a rather unpleasant/cheap feel, like a snack bar. The atmosphere inside wasn't noisy, and the other guests were chatting quietly. We're excited to return and try other interesting Georgian dishes at this little restaurant. Special thanks to the owner, with whom we had a lovely chat and who seems like a great expert in his field!

Tonight we ate at Marani for the first time. We had a wonderful meal: Lula kebab and lamb shashlik. For dessert, we had a tasting menu of various delicacies with coffee. Everything was delicious! The semi-sweet red wine is highly recommended if you enjoy wine. The staff was very friendly! It was neat and clean. We highly recommend Marani and will definitely visit again in the future.

We found this restaurant on Google Maps after a day of shopping in Kleve. It was a completely new cuisine for us—Armenian and Georgian had never tried it before, so we were in for a surprise as to what the food would taste like. Well, I can tell you, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We chose the Khinkali Dumplings and Ostri Stew, and they were both delicious and very filling. All in all, a wonderful experience eating at Marani. We will definitely be back 👍

And it was more than worth it: Everything was fresh, homemade, and truly delicious. The portions are generous, so much so that we even ended up taking some home with us. We particularly loved the creative selection and the courage to create unique combinations – the food here is definitely cooked with passion. We had three starters and two main courses, and each one was a little highlight. We're already looking forward to the next round – there's still a lot to discover! P.S.
