Mann - o - Salwa in Berlin

Stay away!! We waited more than 1,5h for the food. Called the restaurant they said it’s normal and hung up without anything. Then they checked the order as delivered and charged 45€. The food never arrived, no refund, no communication. It is basically a scam.

We ordered delivery and the food never arrived. We were told on the phone that it was already on its way. Uber Eats showed that the order had been delivered, even though it never came. Absolutely not recommended.

Well, it’s a bit complex. The food was nice but the salad was not Pakistani. Actually, I’m not sure what it was. The rice and lentils did taste authentic and the spice level was perfect. So that’s pretty good. But the tea. Oh my. It was extremely awful. Pakistani chai isn’t what this undercooked milk was. So that was disappointing. The hospitality isn’t what you’d expect from a Pakistani restaurant either.

Highly recommended! Mann-o-salwa is a Pakistani restaurant with excellent cuisine. An interesting and varied menu makes choosing difficult. Our dishes were fresh and well-seasoned. The value for money is excellent. We'll be back!

Today, my friend and I visited this wonderful restaurant! Everything is delicious and wonderful. The service was wonderful. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly, positive staff! Health and prosperity to all!

There was almost no meat, only sauce. Overpriced, and the service wasn't great. The owner himself was talking very loudly. Not worth the money.

⚠️ Stay away from this restaurant – beware! I ordered Chicken Biryani it was a complete disappointment – bland, no proper spices, and the chicken tasted like old frozen meat that was partly raw. On top of that, the dish was loaded with huge chunks of raw onion that weren’t even sautéed, making it almost inedible. Definitely one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had – not worth the money at all.

Avoid by all means!! The staff is nice but the restaurant owner is always there and he's the meanest, most greedy, most dishonest business owner I've ever dealt with. He tried to cheat me 2 or 3 times, speaks on the phone very close to the customers incredibly loud and mean, and when I asked him if it's possible to speak more quietly, he said no. Then after the call came to my table and picked a fight with me. Then he sneakingly cancelled my The Fork reservation so I lose the discount, and blamed it falsly on the app. And everytime the app returned the reservation (that I attended of course), he cancelled it again so that I don't get the discount. That's one of several problems with him. Never again in this gang cave!

Ordered butter chicken and butter naan at 3am on a Thursday. On wolt. €19. came within 25 minutes. What a blessing to have such a service. Pro tip: add extra butter to naan, add extra butter and hot sauce to butter chicken. Eat in bed drunk and don’t be ashamed

Simply disappointing! The butter chicken was swimming in oil, the rice was ice cold – truly inedible. The bread was raw, like dough. They delivered the wrong Coke, and when I called, I was told to throw it away if I didn't like it. I've never been treated with such disrespect. Never again!

Getting scammed late at night without having no food for past 2.5 hours and no tracking if delivery location or not even accepting calls . Big ass scam . If yaal shop closed at 12 why are you guys mentioning the shop is closing only by 3 in wolt? Disappointed. Dont waste your time ordering from here

I ordered the Chicken Curry with Tandoori Naan, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the spice level was adjusted/customized exactly how I asked (huge bonus points for that!). The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and in generous portions. Naan was buttery, soft, and fresh off the tandoor. Even the packaging was spot-on, keeping everything warm and intact. It’s clear they care about both taste and presentation. Highly recommend this place if you're craving quality Desi food!

I've been eating here regularly for three years and it's just amazing. My favorite food is the okra, which is always seasoned a little differently but never too salty or too weak. Sometimes I also have other vegan or vegetarian dishes, which have always been very tasty, but I just love the okra 🙃

Spontan zum Abendessen hineingegangen - und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil. Preise gut. Essen lecker. Bedienung freundlich - bekam einen kleinen Salat zum Auftakt und einen Tee zum Abschluss geschenkt. Echt nett und lecker!

I am extremely disappointed with this store. The food was simply left downstairs in front of the front door without any announcement, without ringing the bell or saying anything. When I called the store to ask where my food was, the employee/manager yelled at me and insulted me verbally. This is absolutely unacceptable! About the food itself: It was inedible. Far too oily, taste-wise a disaster, and I couldn't even finish it. For such poor service and such poor food, every cent is a waste. Never again!

For me is one of the best curry's in town. Dall Masala is a must and the chicken soup too

El camarero vino a mi mesa y tomó mi orden: Ghobi Pakora 4 , 9 € Sabzi Jhakfrezi 11 , 5 € Té Yogui 2 , 2 € El té se sirvió rápidamente, y sabía un poco soso, pero aún así está bien. El entrante y el plato principal sabían increíble, picante y eran masivos en términos de tamaño de porción. Con todo, una gran oportunidad para probar la comida pakistaní.

Ordered cheaply online from a virtual restaurant "Makki" on Wolt (whatever that means), but we had nausea and stomach pains after eating! Not recommended!

Clear NOT recommendation! With the stated maximum delivery time of 40 minutes, I waited 2.5 hours - even though I live very close to the restaurant (less than 5 minutes by car/bike). Food is ok, but certainly not better than the competition. That's why it's better to order from another restaurant, there are enough that are worth the money and this one is definitely not it.

Waited over 3 hours for the order and in the end it didn't arrive. After an hour I called several times and they always said the driver would be there soon. After 2.5 hours they say the order never arrived. Extremely rude liars. Never order from this store.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience due to the rude waiters. One waiter even became confrontational over a minor issue. I will never go back and do not recommend this place at all.

We came to visit late, just before closing time, but we were still served kindly and warmly and even waited until we were finished to close the shop. Great and delicious food, the vegetables were very good and the rice too. Meat tastes very good.

Ordered biryani and channa masala yesterday for iftar. I can't explain how bad the quality of food was. Biryani was just colored with no salt or any spice and had a very bad taste. It was too bland and tasteless that I couldnt take more than 2 bites. The chicken pieces in biryani had strange raw taste, that I had to spit it out. Chana masala gravy was bland and tasteless. I was not expecting this much worst food for 27 euros. The food was tasteless and below the quality standards

We discovered this Pakistani restaurant by chance and were very satisfied. The chai was excellent and reminded us a lot of the tea stalls in India. The chicken soup was flavored with kasoori methi and was delicious. Our main courses (paneer + chicken) were delicious. The service was very nice. We'll definitely come back.

Ich habe immer gerne bei diesem Restaurant bestellt. Doch ab sofort nicht mehr. Mir wurde ein falscher Artikel geliefert, worauf ich anrief. Ich wurde angeschrien, dass es meine Schuld war obwohl ich alles schwarz auf weiß habe, was ich bestellt hatte. Daraufhin wurde gesagt, ich soll es dennoch essen. Ich habe gewisse Unverträglichkeiten und kann nur ausgewählte Dinge essen. Aber allein diese Aussage machte mich sprachlos. Anstatt einer Entschuldigung und einem Lösungsvorschlag wurde aufgelegt. Ich habe solch einen derart schlimmen Kundenservice noch nicht erlebt. Bestellen werde ich ab sofort woanders.

BESTELLT HIER NIEMALS ZUR LIEFERUNG!! Ich schreibe nie Bewertungen auf Google, aber dieser Fall hat mich in Rage gebracht, dass es jeder wissen sollte. Ich habe über UberEats hier bestellt und rate Ihnen davon ab!! Meine Bestellung war nach 2 STUNDEN immernoch nicht angekommen. Die Lieferung konnte auch nicht über die App nachverfolgt werden, da sie ihre EIGENEN LIEFERANTEN haben (was bedeutet, dass es auch keinen Unterschied gemacht hätte wenn ich am Telefon oder woanders zur Lieferung bestellt hätte). Als ich dann nach 1 1/2 Stunden im Laden angerufen hatte wurde mir gesagt dass meine Bestellung in einer Minute da wäre. Da ich weiß wie es mit Lieferungen ist hatte ich natürlich Verständnis, wenn das Essen mal etwas länger für die Lieferung braucht. Nach einer weiteren halben Stunde kam das essen dennoch nicht! Als ich im Laden erneut angerufen hatte ist niemand rangegangen! Das ist eine Frechheit den Kunden warten zu lassen und dann nicht mal Informationen zu geben. Ich musste extra beim UberEats Support anrufen (was weitere 15 Minuten Wartezeit in Anspruch genommen hat), um die Bestellung zu stornieren. Tut euch alle selber den gefallen und erspart euch den Stress und bestellt woanders.

Ich habe heute Aloo Gobi bestellt und eine linsen Suppe. Die Lieferung ging ziemlich schnell aber dann die Enttäuschung. Ich habe angegeben, das ich nicht passend habe sondern nur 20 Euro. Der Fahrer kam und tat auf ahnungslos, daraufhin half mir meine Nachbarin beim Wechseln. Das Essen mit 3 kleine Mini Kartoffeln das war ein Witz. Statt Linsen Suppe bekam ich irgendeine Kokos Suppe. Geschmack sehr fad. Einmal und nie wieder!!

I love to order here because they offer reusables (Vytal) and they allow me to return my containers with the next delivery order. Doesn't get any easier (delivery services, please listen and learn!) And last but not least: the food is great, too!

I was there a few days before, today ordered a dinner to my home - every dish was great. I reccomend biryani and soups. Our delivered food was very hot, so we didn’t have to heat it up (what unfortunately happens when we order food online).

Absolut unprofessionelles Verhalten - auf Nachfrage, ob es sich beim Wasser um Tafelwasser handelt, rastete der Inhaber völlig aus. Zudem sehr ungepflegte Außenbestuhlung. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Fleisch schmeckt nach Spülmittel, billige Inhaltsstoffe und dreckiges Ambiente. Service haben die auch nicht drauf. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es weitaus sauberere und günstigere Lokale dieser Geschmacksrichtung. LG, Angela.

Tasty food and great staff. If you request something extra, they usually oblige. I have been in berlin since March 23. Since then, I have been in the restaurant or ordered something home from them, around 20 times. The prices of the items in their menu in relation to the taste are quite nice.

Richtig leckeres Essen, Sympathische Leute. Extrem Gute Preise außerdem. Kann ich jedem empfehlen! Am Liebsten hingehen und nicht bestellen. Ist echt ein geheimtipp :) !

Mann - o - Salwa is a fine place for desi meals with authentic taste and reasonable prices. Our waiter Aneek took great care of us during our visit, and I'd definitely love to go back there in the future. I highly recommend the Aloo Sialkot and Paneer Jhalfrezi.

Like many, I arrived at this restaurant by searching it up on google maps, so it’s justified that I inform you of my experience. When I came to the restaurant it was empty, the waiter was outside smoking, I went in and sat, picked up the menu myself and waited. After a while, which felt like eternity when on an empty stomach, the waiter came and took my order which was some lamb biryani. The biryani did not taste anything like biryani, it was bland and lacked salt and spices, the crisp onions were nice though. I was hungrily gulping the food when I noticed the meat. It was white and pink in color, and super tough to chew. I brought this to the attention of the restaurant and they told me that I’ve never had biryani before, and that this is how biryani usually is. I asked them whether the meat was old, to which they said yes, It was one day old. Then another exclaimed that the meat wasn’t old, rather they forgot to put any spices on it, and instead boiled the meat. They insisted that boiled meat is normal, and that the one I received was under boiled, which meant it was a bit raw, hence the pink color. I must’ve had biryani a thousand times from various places, and have never once received boiled meat. In the end they give a 3€ discount for the “inconvenience“ and that was it. Come to this place if you like un-spiced under-boiled meat with bland rice.

The food was okay in taste however its not value for money .... expensive for what they offer ..... I would not go the second time.
