Wow! Despite the voucher booklet, we were served perfectly and the food was really wonderful! We will also come without a voucher booklet. The young woman in service is just super nice, 5 stars! I always cook myself and make everything fresh, but even my husband thought the schnitzel with mushrooms was UNBEATABLE!🤣❤️ 2 points deducted for deducting money, we were charged a lot more. We asked her about it directly but nothing came of it. If everything hadn't been so great before, I would have insisted on the €5! But then I thought it didn't matter. But it really disappointed me for a long time to have the rating so bad because of a few pennies.

We spent a lovely afternoon at Mangold. One of the few restaurants that offer hot food all day long. We were warmly welcomed. The excellent service continued throughout our visit. The very nice waitress came several times and asked whether everything was OK or whether we had any further requests. The food was very good. Both the schnitzel was very tasty and the rump steak was grilled to perfection. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. We'd love to come back.

We were in Mangold today and I have to say, really nice shop. The Schnitzel Bernaise was ordered. There were also delicious fries and a very tasty salad. A really decent portion for a side salad. All in all a very tasty meal. The only deduction I have to make is that the schnitzel was a bit too big in places and also too thick for my taste. But the creamy sauce made up for it. The price of the whole thing was completely reasonable at €15. I would also like to highlight the great and extremely friendly service. You feel very comfortable here, which makes the food taste even better ☺️ Definitely a recommendation

Briefly in advance: We have never had friendlier service than on this evening. The entire team was really super nice. The dishes (selection) were unspectacular, but very tasty. I have to make a deduction because of the menus, which look like they were from the 1990s and because of the fact that card payment is not possible. Basically, I can recommend a visit to Mangold!

I was there with my friend last Saturday. We both ate steak English. He ate fried potatoes, I had fries with sauce. And a salad with dressing was super tasty. Everything was super tasty. The service was super super nice and we come here more often now. I can only recommend it. Really great restaurant 😋

Nachdem das Restaurant zwischenzeitlich etwas abgebaut hatte, waren wir gestern mal wieder im Mangold essen und es war einfach unglaublich lecker. Wir haben uns Pasta gegönnt und die Qualität war perfekt. Das Gericht super abgestimmt, die Portion sehr reichhaltig und die Bedienung total freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie hat auch immer Alternativen angeboten, falls man etwas abändern möchte. Wir kommen definitiv bald wieder. Eine dicke Empfehlung von uns!

The service person was very nice, but not entirely focused on the matter. Even though we were the only guests, we didn't receive the drinks we ordered. Would be corrected immediately. Good. The food was scarier. The turkey wasn't fully cooked, the pork steak could have spent a little more time in the pan and the beef fillet was dry, tough and poorly mixed. The fries were nice, but very salty. I don't want to comment further on the wilted salad with vegetables. Conclusion: That was nothing

Wir kommen aus Irland und wir waren in Urlaub in Deutschland, Ende Juni und Anfang Juli . Im Juni haben wir im Restaurant Mangold gegessen and wir fanden das Essen und Bedienung sehr gut. Wir kamen wieder eine Woche spaeter und es war gleich gut. Vielen Dank!

Dirty tables are not wiped down. Vegetables were almost raw, should have been with olive oil and garlic, but didn't taste like anything. When asked, there was no olive oil in the kitchen. The service was very unfriendly, I would say rude.

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The service was first class - the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and always tried to make our evening as pleasant as possible. The good home cooking was an absolute pleasure. We would particularly like to highlight the schnitzel Hawaii and the schnitzel gratinated with cheese - both dishes were perfectly prepared and a real culinary delight. The salad was also excellent: fresh, crunchy and topped off with a delicious dressing. Another highlight was the cozy and inviting atmosphere, which perfectly rounded off the ambience. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

Yesterday, three of us had dinner at Mangod. It was very, very good. Finally a schnitzel from the pan and not from the deep fryer. Accompanied with a fresh salad. Freshly cooked pasta in tomato olive oil sauce with tomato pieces and basil leaves. Plus a freshly tapped Gaffel Kölsch. Splendid. The price/performance ratio is definitely right. We received very good service and nothing was missing. Thank you again for this. We can only recommend the chard. And, we'd love to come back.

Went there for my daughter's birthday. Nice cozy atmosphere. Hosts very friendly, attentive. Food very tasty. I can only recommend. It's a shame, however, that you can only pay in cash. But it's not a big deal since the EC machine is in the immediate vicinity. We'll be back 😉

Since I eat vegan AND gluten-free, it's not always that easy because not every restaurant is flexible enough to respond to these customer requests. Not so with chard. The landlord was very competent and my dietary restrictions were implemented in consultation with me. I could even choose the oil. I felt very understood and in good hands at Mangold. The service was very friendly and focused on good service. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Our schnitzels came with a large, delicious side salad. Everything was very fresh. We were thrilled. You can also eat here all day long, the restaurant doesn't close at lunchtime. We used that. We will be back.

My mother and I had lunch there exactly a week ago, on Shrove Monday, and were really very satisfied. The atmosphere is very inviting, rustic and cozy, the food was absolutely excellent. I had the dish of the day, which was on the table outside, a minced beef steak with onions, ajvar, a fried egg, with delicious thick fries and a mixed salad. The service was very friendly and attentive, but in no way intrusive. We didn't have to wait long for the food, it came quite quickly and was super tasty. I can only recommend the Mangold restaurant to everyone, we will definitely eat there more often.

Ein Koch kocht Dich voll oder kocht Dich leer. Dieser alte, aber auch wahre Spruch aus der Gastronomie, trifft hier voll zu. Seit Corona ist es schwer gutes Personal zu finden. Ich weiß nicht, was hier passiert ist, aber die Qualität hat hier leider so nach gelassen, dass wir mit unseren Besuchen vorerst pausieren werden. Wir werden es im Frühjahr noch mal probieren. Aber für zwei verbrutzelte Schnitzel mit Fertig Sauce und kümmerlich angemachten Salat mit 2 Getränken für rund 55 € Esse ich lieber zu Hause oder wo anders

I ordered sliced ​​turkey in cream sauce with pasta. €14.80. Pasta was overcooked. "Schnetzeltes with cream" ...the cream I looked for the "sauce" made with starch. The salad was good! The turkey meat was dry, the sauce without cream was edible after I added salt. But definitely not again!

Das Restaurant befindet sich inmitten der Fußgängerzone in Troisdorf und ist über einen nahegelegenen, öffentlichen, Parkplatz gut zu erreichen. Wir gehen gerne hier hin, da wir den Service sehr freundlich finden. Wir haben über die letzten Jahre mehrere Gerichte ausprobiert und gehen gerne ins Mangold.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr nett, wir kommen wieder 🙂

Eine 5 von 5 ! Absolut fantastisch ! Das Ambiente ist einfach nur schön, der Service ist total aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung und das Essen Spitzenklasse. Wir haben zusätzlich noch eine Vorspeise auf Kosten des Hauses geschenkt bekommen und da uns der Ailoi so gut geschmeckt hat, sogar noch etwas abgepackt für Zuhause. Einfach nur schön so geschätzt zu werden und endlich Mal sich als Gast zu fühlen in einem Lokal. Bei so einem tollen Lokal möchte man einfach nur entspannt sein Leckeres Essen genießen und einen schönen entspannten Abend verbringen. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend in einer gastlichen Atmosphäre. Der Gastgeber war super nett aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war Klasse. Wir hatten jeder ein Schnitzel, das trotz Soße knusprig war und schön dünn. Die Pommes dazu waren durchweg knusprig. Der Beilagensalat war reichlich und frisch und nicht in Soße schwimmend oder matschig. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber und es mangelte an nichts. Wir waren das erste Mal hier und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
