Mangal lahmacun in Köln

Hygiene must be taken into consideration. It is not right to roll out dough, make lahmacun, handle money, get paid, or do any work with the same gloves.

It used to taste better here – and the meat was definitely cooked thoroughly, not raw like this time. Besides, it was a pleasure to eat here, but the staff at the moment are very unmotivated and take their frustration out on customers through gossip and rudeness. There's a new lahmacun shop on the same street, which we'll try next time we want to eat lahmacun. We're out of the running as customers for now. Maybe the guys should be paid better or something...

The employee took over 30 minutes to make 4 lahmacun, favored other customers, didn't listen to me, was very rude, spent more time on the phone than doing his job, and almost burned the food. Since Mangal took over the shop, things have only gone downhill. Ps: the shop was empty when I arrived, and when a woman ordered after me, he naturally took her first.

We've been here several times - always fine so far. A disaster. Visit on Friday, June 13, 2025. 2 employees - no business. Disgusting tables, dirty chairs, dirty floor, and the work surface, as well as the entire work area, was chaotic and dirty. Wiped the table and cleaned the chairs ourselves. Both employees watched and didn't react. The employee was preparing food with gloves and pushed the cleaning materials aside. Lahmacun was served with chopped parsley - including the thick stems and yellow leaves - even sorting it out didn't help. We returned the two lahmacun and left the shop.

Pizza is great, but the employees are more concerned with talking to colleagues and friends who are besieging the entire store…

I've been going to the shop for years! Back then, it wasn't run by Mangal "Poldi." You'd think you'd find something nice under that name. The quality has declined somewhat, hence one star deduction. Service could be significantly improved, so unfortunately, I only give it one star. You usually stand at the counter for 15 minutes before your order is even taken, and then you usually wait another 15 minutes until everything is ready. You get the feeling that people who speak the same language are given priority. I don't need to discuss the ambiance in Cologne Kalk. The shop is very small, but it does what it's supposed to. I liked the shop much better before; the gentleman who ran the shop and stood behind the counter was very nice and accommodating. A suggestion for improvement: Greet people who come in, ask for their order, and maybe let them know if it might take a while.

Lahmacun (Turkish pizza) tastes good, but the Mangal on Weidengasse is much better. Waiting 15 minutes for one lahmacun? NO WAY. €3.30 plain is okay, but €4.50 with just parsley is outrageous (a rip-off). €1.20 for two sprigs of parsley? 🤪🤪🤪😡 50 cents would be more realistic. Also, you don't pay extra for salad with doner kebabs, only for feta cheese.

The lahmacun is delicious, but the staff are constantly talking very loudly to friends and don't care that it's a big disturbance. It's almost like being at a barber shop.

Unfortunately, you can't get anything after 8:30 p.m., even though it says it's open until 9 p.m.! Pizza was delicious when the old bakery was still there!

I wanted to order seven lahmacun, but the two young employees were very disrespectful. They laughed at me and didn't even address me politely, just saying, 'Brother, wait.' When I asked them to take their jobs seriously and be more polite, I said I would complain. They simply told me, 'There's no lahmacun for you.' Such poor and disrespectful service is inappropriate for Mangal Lahmacun.

There used to be one of the tastiest Lahmacun in Cologne here. Even as a German, I was served/treated in a friendly manner here. Since the friendly employees were replaced by completely rude, almost insolent employees, both the food and the way I was treated there have become worse. Never again!

1. There were people who wanted to have lettuce on the lahmacun and they said that they didn't have it there and then 3 people left again and the employees then started gossiping in Turkish about how they wouldn't be cutting lettuce there now. 2. There was an employee who looked at me cheekily the whole time and ate the customers' food instead of waiting for the customers to get the food they ordered. 3 We were the first customers there and the only ones before 3 or 4 customers came in. We still had to wait 20 minutes for our food 4. Instead of working quickly, employees talk all the time. 5 I got a stomach ache and diarrhea after eating 6. it didn't taste like it did before, the lahmacun felt like water, the whole bread broke and tore, the cig head dürüm wasn't even closed properly, so the people who were there before were 10,000 times better. No longer recommended. I'd rather spend 16 euros at mcs.

The place used to be great – the boss was friendly and the lahmacun was delicious. Now the food has gone down and the staff are often rude. Very disappointing.

I was there today and ordered and waited patiently. However, others were preferred and one of the employees was so rude and unfriendly to me when I pointed this out to him and then cheekily said that I could wait longer and preferred others. The people who were there when I ordered even agreed with me and couldn't understand your behavior towards me. It was a slightly smaller employee in question. Just because I have dark skin and don't speak Turkish, he simply took the right to treat me like that. Impossible behavior!!! Service is zero for people with dark skin.!! The fact that people are still discriminated against today because of their origin or skin color is really embarrassing. So I'm definitely not going there anymore.

Very tasty in itself but not the tastiest in the whole region. The staff are nice too. But you don't prepare pizzas without gloves, almost then prepare the money and almost touch your nose without washing your hands and then give it to the next customer, so you should pay more attention to it and I know if you tell him, he'll forget it the next day day because you think anyway, everyone is licking my ass but I don't think such a preparation is at all right and I have zero understanding of it.

Lahmacun...really disgusting. Unfortunately it doesn't taste good anymore. The minced meat looked brown, not reddish like usual. Completely different taste. The parsley that was given was not washed properly. Some of the leaves still had dirt on them or something similar. Just cut it straight away, the stalks were more than the parsley itself. For that much money you can really expect something better. Was the last time...

Shop totally dirty, used dishes are not put away. Waiters are sometimes overwhelmed

80 lahmacuns were ordered and when we arrived, not even one was made, even though it was approved in advance. I would recommend the friend who is in charge of the oven to learn some manners. The PERSON would have at least apologized, but on top of that, the baker did his own thing with his bigoted actions and speech. Soon he comes across the wrong person...

أكلنا أنا وصاحبي "Lahmacun" كان سعر الرغيف الواحد ٣€ يمكن إختيار طعمه حار أو بارد يأتي الطبق لوحده ليس معه شيء إلا قليلاً من الليمون. والمقبلات هي سلطة أو بقدونس سعر الطبق ١€ ويكفي لشخص واحد. الطعم كان لذيذ جداً كما كان في تركيا. والخدمة لم تعجبني كثيراً كان البائع منزعج بعض الشيء لعله متعب من كثرة العمل. وأجواء المحل بسيطة هو محل صغير أعتقد من الأفضل شراء الطعام وأكله في غير مكان.

Einfach ein sehr schlechter lahmacun. Der Teig war okay, der Belag einfach schlecht Gewürz und das Hackfleisch irgendwje sehr eklig. Hatten danach Magenkrämpfe, meine Frau musste sich sogar übergeben. 3 Euro für ein lahmacun ohne Belag. Für Touris und Nicht-Kenner der türkischen Küche, ist es vielleicht okay, aber jeder der Ahnung von lahmacun hat, Finger weg.

Erster und letzter Kauf. Das Servicepersonal ist gelangweilt, uninteressiert und unfreundlich. Ob der Lahmacun lecker ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, da mir leider der Appetit vergangen ist. Ich war Rosenmontag 2023 Abends hier und habe 10 Lahmacun zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Im Imbiss waren zwei Kunden. Eine Begrüßung beim Betreten gab es nicht. Während des Wartens habe ich mich auf einen der Stühle gesetzt. Leider ist mir nicht aufgefallen, dass ein früherer Gast auf diesen Stuhl gerotzt hatte. Meine Ekelbeschwerde beim Servicepersonal wurde mit wenig Interesse aufgenommen. Ich zahlte 30 Euro für meine Bestellung. Mein Geld wurde kommentarlos entgegengenommen. Ein Danke vom Personal gab es bei der Zahlung nicht und auch eine Verabschiedung der zahlenden Gäste ist hier nicht üblich. Für mich der schlechteste Imbiss in Köln.

Sehr lecker und knusprig, so wie es in Original sein soll

Seit Jahren gehen wir hier lahmacun essen. Die Frische der Lahmacun ist unschlagbar. Sie kommen knusprig und aromatisch aus dem Ofen. Die Würzung ist gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die Räumlichkeiten. Es gibt nur wenige Sitzmöglichkeiten und kein Kunden WC.

Der lahmacun ist lecker 4 bis 5 Sterne. aber der Preis ist gewaltig. Nur weil Podolski mit den namen drin steckt und anteilisch beteiligt ist . Man muss Podolski es nötig haben seine Fans mit überteuerten produkten abzusiehen. Bravo was du für Kölner fans machst.

Also wer eines der leckersten Lahmacun in Köln essen möchte, ist hier vollkommen richtig! Der Teig ist knusprig und die Würzung vom Lahmacun sehr gut. Ich habe einen Stern abgezogen, da der Laden damals über einen anderen Namen lief und nun von der Mangal Kette übernommen wurde. Die Mitarbeiter sind jedoch sehr nett und zuvorkommt.

Wenn man über Hygiene reden muss sind die Mitarbeiter hier wirklich top, meine persönliche Meinung ich habe öfters selber gesehen das das Geld mit Handschuhe genommen wird, die Mitarbeiter waschen sich so oft wie möglich die Händen um sauber mit der wahre umzugehen, ich finde das einfach super, außerdem habe ich viele lahmacun probiert und nirgend wo schmeckt es so lecker wie hier, ich empfehlen es auf jeden Fall

Lahmacun frisch gemacht und superlecker. Auf Wunsch mit Zitronenschnitzer. Aber 3 EUR ist schon happig. Und der Laden selbst ist auch nicht einladend. Personal war aber sehr nett. Kaufen und draußen auf der Bank genießen!

Habe noch Nie in so einem Dreckigen Laden gegessen. Selbst die Tische mussten wir selber sauber machen. Der Teig war Knusprig, aber Geschmacklich eine Katastrophe. Das war das erste und letzte Mal, das ich Da was gegessen habe.Gehe wieder zur meinem Stamm Restaurant (DAMLA +), da schmecken die Türk. Pizzen viel viel Besser. Preisverhältnis kosten Sie auch nur 20 Cent teurer...

Die Herren haben über die Hygiene anscheint keine Ahnung. Der Kassierer nimmt das Bargeld im Hand und gleich danach macht er weiter mit dem Teig, als ob er nichts falsches macht! Ich werde nie wieder dahin gehen und vielleicht schadet nicht das Gesundheitsamt darüber zu informieren, weil man unter dieser Bedingungen kein Essen verkaufen darf!

Aynı markanın dönerleri çok başarılı olmasına rağmen lahmacunu lezzetli değildi. Ayrıca biraz daha pişmiş olabilirdi. Lahmacunlar orta boyuttaydı ve ikili porsiyonun bile doyurucu olmadığını düşünüyorum. Bu sebeplerden dolayı verdiğim paranın karşılığını alamadım bence.

Von Hygiene halten die Herren wohl nichts. Ich habe echt überlegt ob ich das Gesundheitsamt kontaktieren soll. Kurze Schilderung zum Ablauf: Der Verkäufer benutzt für das Kassieren und Belegen die gleichen Handschuhe. Fasst das Geld an und im Anschluss greift er in die Hackfleischmasse und verteilt dies auf dem Teig?!? Ich war einfach nur sprachlos und musste den Laden verlassen. Schade!

Super frische und leckere Lahmacun ohne irgendeinen Schnickschnack. Wir waren schon Kunden bevor sich der Name geändert hat und können es sehr empfehlen!

Das tut mir Leid. Sah lecker aus, als es frisch aus dem Ofen kam, aber geschmacklich leider eine Enttäuschung. Der Teig hatte keinen leckeren Geschmack, der Belag war fad. Ich hab kurz an meinem Geschmacksnerven gezweifelt, aber meinem Mann ging es auch so. Schade.

Danke für nichts... Preislich zwar nicht allzu teuer aber man erhält auch nur einen durchschnittlichen Lahmacun mit schlechtem Salat und wahlweise mit Zitronensaft. Kein Schafskäse, keine Soße, kein Fleisch oder sonstiges! Wenn man Kölner Dönerläden kennt ist es wirklich stark unterdurchschnittlich. Dann lieber woanders.
