Mamma Rosa Feinkost in Bad Reichenhall

I was there at the weekend with my partner. When we arrived it took a moment for the waiter to take the drinks, but since the place was very full, that's understandable for me. After ordering, the drinks came very quickly and then the food was ordered. My only complaint is that it is quite loud in the crowded restaurant. Which for me personally spoils the good ambience a bit. I would eat there again at any time. If we are in the corner again soon, we will definitely come back! In terms of taste and also for the eye, the dishes were simply fantastic. My partner told me he had never eaten better scampi. Many thanks to the kitchen and the great staff! Keep it up.

Nowhere else are the noodles always on point, just like the vegetables. The fish dishes are perfect! When we are in Bad Reichenhall, this is always our first address for fine Italian cuisine!

There is no typical menu. The menu is written on the blackboard. You can choose pasta or fish meals. The waitress is really friendly and gives nice recommendations of food and wine! Sad that the pistachio soufflés is not available then but tiramisu is also nice. I enjoyed my time there! :)

The very high quality of the food and service has been consistent for years! Sometimes the best Italian in Bad Reichenhall! I had the grilled octopus on my lunch break. Service quick and uncomplicated. Cuisine at a very high level and on time! I really enjoy coming here because it's like a quick trip to Italy! Tutto Bene!

No matter when you are there, it is always a pleasure. Whether for a small hunger or just for a drink, it is always nice to be a guest here. Dishes are prepared and served with a lot of love. A big compliment to the kitchen and all the staff!

Every dish we ordered was delicious. The restaurant was comfortable to sit in and the wait staff spoke English. There are many types of gear to choose from. The price is acceptable for tourists.

We had reserved a table two days before, but we didn't know anything about it. After some back and forth we were allowed to sit down, but were then ignored for 20 minutes. The “house wine” at €15 for 0.5 liters was scary, every tetra pack of wine is better. We ordered four meals, each of which was of poor quality and tasteless. Sorry, I don't understand why there is such a hype about this place. Just a shame about the money!!!!!

We came across this small, inconspicuous gem by chance as we were traveling by racing bike. The atmosphere was nice, the service (no matter who) was super friendly and very accommodating. The food was amazing, tastefully and visually very well prepared. Can really only be highly recommended. A real insider tip, this great restaurant. We had the tuna with balsamic cream, the tuna tartare and vegetables. For dessert, homemade tiramisu and panacotta. Great, simply delicious.

We hadn't made a reservation and asked if there was still a place for us. We were immediately given a friendly welcome and we were able to stay there despite the full house. The service was great, the food was incredibly tasty. We would love to come back. Thank you!

This small and fine Italian restaurant definitely deserves a visit, even if you have a slightly longer journey. Super delicious bistro cuisine. We were so fascinated that we went there two days in a row. Nothing works without a reservation - order in advance. Delicious wines are served and grappa at the end is on the house. We had spaghetti vongole, pasta with truffles, tagliolini with sea wolf and rocket/tomato, tuna with balsamic essence and rocket, and chocolate soufflé with pistachio filling. Everything was sensationally delicious - thanks to the team - we'll be back.

Today I visited the Italian restaurant in Bad Reichenhall. That was a revelation for me. Everything was prepared so deliciously that there are no words for it. I tried black squid tagliolini with cuttlefish for the first time. It was incredibly delicious. Tiramisu and the traditional dessert from Palermo Cassata-Sicilia have conquered my heart. I definitely recommend all residents and guests of Bad Reichenhall to visit this restaurant.💯👍👍👍

I was just in town for lunch with my loved one. 💓 Spoiled for choice on the daily menu, Tagliatelle in white truffle and porcini mushroom sauce with beef strips was spot on.😁 My loved one chose Tagliolini with black ink and seppien. Direct hit.☺️ For dessert we had the cassata siciliana (ice cream cake), which was a true revelation, as well as an incomparable tiramisu.😜 Espresso and limoncello were on the house and I think there are 2 more regular customers here. You were treated like old friends in the family business and you could also tell that many regular guests maintain personal relationships with the owner family.😉 Wine was very good and all goods were fresh. Oh, the pasta is made fresh on site every day and is also cooked with the best goods imported from Italy.🥰 Little Italy in the middle of Bad Reichenhall. Thank you very much, dear family.🤩

Best pasta in a long time! Starters were delicious, but I would have hoped for more from the mixed antipasti. Buffalo mozzarella with ham was very tasty. The pasta was both delicious and homemade. Dessert, the walnut parfait, was also very good. The young boss (at least I assume) was a really good host and the dark-haired waitress was also very nice. Not everything is perfect and you sometimes have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. It was really nice and also worth the €100 we paid for the second one. Definitely coming back!

Mama Mia! This restaurant is a JEWEL and an absolute insider tip in Bad Reichenhall. The food is an absolute dream. My friend had the best scampi of her life there and the gnocchi in salmon sauce was to die for. Perfectly seasoned and simply “comfort food”. Just like with mom. 😊 We will definitely come back!!

Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Very fine Italian cuisine with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Everything prepared with a lot of love. Authentic and family atmosphere. Just “la familia”. Very nice service and always good conversation with the owner. We will definitely come back as we vacation in Reichenhall once a year.

Super experience!! The food is all fresh and cooked at the moment, the trio we took was exquisite, an explosion of taste for the palate, especially the porcini mushroom and truffle tartare. The fresh pasta is a delicacy, you have to wait a few minutes but it's worth the wait worth the wait. the staff is impeccable, always helpful and friendly...

In den Lachsgnocchi musste man die Lachsstücke suchen. Die Spaghetti Aglio e Olio hatten den Namen nicht verdient: Fabrikspaghettini der schlechtesten Qualität getunkt in eine undefinierbare trübe Sosse mit 6 Stücken Knoblauch und etwas Peperoni. Hinzu kam, dass wir in dem leeren Restaurant auch noch nach der Karte fragen mussten, da die Bedienung sich zunächst lieber um die Freunde gekümmert hat. Hier gehen wir nie wieder hin.

We visit bad Reichenhall every January and although we do not speak German we are usually very well treated by restaurant staff and most people are very helpful explaining the menu and specials etc but not here. This place does not have a menu as everything is displayed on black boards. We booked our table the day before and earlier that day we took photos of the food available so that we could translate the options on google. We arrived 5 minutes early and we were greeted by a very rude lady who tried to sit us on a high table. I have a mobility issue so we had asked for a low table when we booked. She reluctantly showed us to our table which was reserved for us and walked away. Immediately she came back and noticed I was carrying a wet umbrella and was shouting at me in German to go outside with my umbrella whilst other customers had umbrellas at their feet. Then we were left sitting for 15 minutes and nobody approached us. Although it was busy customers who arrived after us were offered drinks and their food order was taken. We were just about to walk out when a pleasant young man came to take our order. The service was ridiculously slow, the food was just okay, and nobody asked us if everything was okay. We had been here once before and had a very nice time but unfortunately the current staff let the place down big time. Seems to me if you don’t speak the language they don’t want to know you. Big mistake as we always spend a decent amount on our food and drinks and we usually give a good tip. We won’t be back there are too many nice places to go other than here where our custom is always welcome.

Wir können die guten Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Früher war dies unter italienischer Leitung ein Highlight. Jetzt - unter kosovarischer Leitung - ist das Essen nur noch teuer und schlecht. Völlig ungewürzt und von miserabler Qualität. Der Fisch ist tiefgefroren, völlig ausgetrocknet und nahezu ungenießbar, die Spaghetti Vongole völlig ungewürzt mit gummiartigen winzigen Muscheln, die Minestrone aus der Dose, die Cassata ein Fertigprodukt von der Metro. Uns wurde auf Beschwerde hin zugesichert, dass wir die angemahnten Speisen nicht bezahlen müssten, was aber später wieder zurückgenommen wurde. Unfreundlicher, schlechter Service, trotz geringer Gästezahl lange Wartezeiten. Nie wieder!

Very good, fine food with a touch of elegance, the prices were absolutely fine, the dessert was delicious, only the espresso was slightly bitter.

Das Mama Rosa ist unser absoluter Tipp, wenn man authentische italienische Pasta und Fischgerichte genießen möchte. Das eigentlich unscheinbare Restaurant besticht durch hausgemachte Nudelgerichte und top Service. Wer Pizza sucht ist hier falsch. Wer aber ein Stück italienisches Lebensgefühl mit hervorragenden Essen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig.

Update 10/23 Nach vielen weiteren Besuchen bei Mamma Rosa fühlen wir uns weiterhin sehr wohl und gut bewirtet vom Team Mamma Rosa! Unsere erste Bewertung hat weiterhin volle Gültigkeit (mehr Sterne gehen leider nicht). Die tolle, kreative Küche mit den frische Zutaten, die Weine und die familiäre Atmosphäre erfreuen uns (und wohl auch viele andere) immer wieder. Wir freuen uns schon auf das Silvestermenue. Seit Jahren verbringen wir regelmäßig unsere Urlaube in Bad Reichenhall. Wir sind begeisterte Gäste, seit Mamma Rosa existiert. Die familiäre Atmosphäre, das nette Personal, die Qualität der Speisen hat bis heute nichts an Attraktivität für uns verloren. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen bestätigen unsere Meinung. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch im September.

Sehr nettes und kompetentes Team. Essen und Weine vom Feinsten! Frischer Fisch und selbst gemachte Nudeln. Ich würde gerne 10 Sterne vergeben. Das beste Italienische Restaurant, in dem ich bis jetzt gegessen habe.

Die Pasta mit Seewolf u. Oliven in Tomatensoße und die Variante mit Gemüse in Rose-Sauce waren wirklich sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Schön finde ich besonders die ständig wechselnden Gerichte der Tageskarte (mal keine Pizza) und nicht das übliche Einerlei. Ein sehr nettes, lauschiges Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind!

Was soll ich sagen.......einfach perfekt. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Mama Rosa und hatten einen absolut gelungenen Abend. Einfach vorbei kommen und ausprobieren. Danke für diesen schönen Abend.

Kurzfristig noch Plätze bekommen, eigentlich immer gut besucht und voll , besonders der Garten bei schönem Wetter . Service kam sehr schnell für die Getränkebestellung - Lambrusco gibt es bei diesem Italiener hier nicht . Leider gibt es hier auch keine Speisekarten !? Gerichte stehen auf Tafeln neben der Eingangstüre ! Entweder man kann dies vom Tisch aus lesen oder man muss dorthin gehen ! Das Essen wurde relativ zügig serviert . Wir waren begeistert von dem Geschmack und Qualität der Speisen , Brot wurde zum Essen gereicht. Die Nudeln , sowie die Nachspeise sehr lecker = selbstgemacht ! Das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und ansprechend , auf den Stühlen bequeme Kissen . Die Preise eher im oberen / gehobenen Bereich - dennoch sehr empfehlenswert !

2×innerhalb einer Woche fantastisch gegessen, beste, authentische italienische Küche weit und breit!

Seit über 8 Jahren besuche ich dieses Lokal immer wieder gerne. Mein Favorit sind die Trüffel tagliolini (mit saisonal Pfifferlingen oder frischen Steinpilzen), die Lachs gnocchi und die Miesmuscheln in Weißwein sauce. Das panna cotta ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet!

Richtig authentisches Italienisches Essen. Aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung zum Schluss noch n Schnaps aufs Haus! 5 Sterne weil weniger gelogen wäre! Ich komme wieder, danke 🤩
