Außergewöhnlich, man fühlt sich wie am Meer in Italien, köstliches Essen, großartige Bedienung und Service, ein echtes Juwel in Bad Reichenhall, Reservierung empfohlen.

Wir waren aufgrund des Tipps einer Ladeninhaberin aus Bad Reichenhall hier zur Mittagszeit. Das Essen war sehr lecker, auf den Punkt gegart und die Atmosphäre in diesem Familienrestaurant war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fazit - wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Restaurant guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen!

Das Lokal ist wirklich etwas besonderes ! Es werden täglich wechselnde frische Pasta Gerichte angeboten. Wir hatten die Trüffel-Steinpilz Pasta und die Pasta mit Kartoffelcreme und Muscheln. Davor haben wir uns Vitello Tonato geteilt. Es war köstlich ! Absolute Empfehlung !

Abend starker Andrang. Wegen fehlender Speisekarte ( Gerichte stehen täglich auf 2 Schiefertafeln) Fast jeder Gast macht vor Bestellung Handyaufnahmen und so entsteht Enge und Hektik . Bei unserem Besuch, gab es kein Fleischgericht. Unsere Thunfischgerichte war mittelprächtig essbar . Die guten Bewertungen konnten wir nicht bestätigen.

Wir freuen uns jedes Mal auf das Mamma Rosa wenn wir in Bad Reichenhall sind. Hervorragendes Essen, guter Wein und aufmerksamer Service! Besonders die Fischkarte und zahlreichen Pastagerichte mit Fisch liebe ich sehr.

Wir waren spontan eingekehrt und hatten sogar ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Es war auch der einzige Platz gewesen, also unbedingt vorher reservieren. Das Essen war sehr lecker gewesen.

Dieses Restaurant ist schlecht und löscht alle negativen Bewertungen. Bis heute wurden 21 Bewertungen gelöscht. Wenn der Service gut wäre, müssten sie das nicht tun, aber es ist ja einfacher, es zu tun, nicht wahr? Schämt euch! Ich war vor ein paar Jahren mit meiner Freundin dort. Sie hatte damals eine Bewertung geschrieben und sich über das viel zu salzige Essen und die extreme Hitze beschwert – beides stimmte absolut. Sie antworteten sogar, dass sie sich an sie erinnerten und die Bewertung drei Jahre lang online war, aber heute haben sie sie gelöscht. Das ist eine Frechheit! Damals habe ich keine Bewertung geschrieben, weil es mittelmäßig war und ich hungrig war. Ich habe einfach gegessen, was da war. Es war zwar auch unangenehm heiß, aber ich war eben hungrig. Jetzt schreibe ich aber eine Bewertung, weil dieses Verhalten von schlechten Restaurants in Deutschland, die keine Verantwortung für ihren schlechten Service übernehmen, inakzeptabel ist!

Ich habe Mamma Rosa zufällig entdeckt und bin begeistert! Das Essen ist köstlich, die Atmosphäre toll und die Bedienung unglaublich freundlich! Die Speisen sind frisch und authentisch italienisch.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Es ist ein liebevolles modern eingerichtetes Lokal. Der Service zuvorkommend freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam schnell und sehr lecker wir hatten zur Vorspeise das Vitello Tonnato, als Hauptgericht den Fischteller Duett und den Thunfisch mit Oliven und Kapern, das Tiramisu als Nachtisch und leckeren Roséwein dazu. Einen Grappa gabs aufs Haus. Lieben Dank für den aufmerksamen Service. War zwar etwas hochpreisig, aber alles sehr lecker und nett. Auf der nächsten Durchreise machen wir bestimmt wieder einen Stopp bei Euch! Weiterhin viel Erfolg. Mille Grazie!

Das Essen und das Ambiente waren großartig! Super lecker 🤤

Ein Restaurant mit immer wieder wechselnden Gerichten. Wer sich sein Gericht aussuchen möchte, muss sich dies aus den Angeboten an den Wandtafeln auswählen. Am besten Fotos machen und am Tisch auswählen. Wir hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt, was sich als positiv herausgestellt hat. Der Laden war voll, aber das Personal war so gut drauf, dass eine erste Bestellung nach nicht einmal fünf Minuten aufgegeben war. Das Essen wurde ohne große Wartezeit serviert und war super lecker. Es lohnt sich, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.

Ich würde behaupten, dass es sich bei Mama Rosa um die beste italienische Küche außerhalb Italiens handelt. Die Speisekarte hat ihren Schwerpunkt bei Pasta und Fischgerichten. Alles was wir bisher gegessen haben war fantastisch. Für uns ist es immer ein Highlight hier essen zu dürfen. Macht bitte so weiter und danke, dass es so tolle Gastronomen gibt.

Das Mamma Rosa ist ein Feinkost-Italiener in der Bahnhofstraße. Insbesondere Freitag oder Samstag ist eine Reservierung anablässlich - aus Gründen. Die Pasta sind hausgemacht, die Speisen variieren & wechseln auf den Tafeln vor Ort, eine fixe Speisekarte gibt es nicht. Und die Gerichte sind außergewöhnlich, so z.B. schwarze Tagliatelle an Pistazienpesto mit roten karamellisierten Zwiebeln & Burrata. Die Süße der Zwiebeln passt perfekt zum Rest, die Pistazie schmeckt man zwar nicht wirklich heraus, aber alleine die Idee und Präsentation sind hervorragend. Darüber hinaus sind alle im Restaurant unfassbar freundlich & kinderlieb - wir kommen wieder!

Alles war hervorragend: das Essen, der Wein und der Service. Ich hatte die italienische Küche schon lange vermisst. Ich bin froh, sie in Bad Reichenhall gefunden zu haben.

Das Ambiente ist schlicht, es war ein wenig kühl im Raum im Winter. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war ok, aber es wird nicht mein Lieblingsitaliener.

Ruhiges gemütliches Restaurant. Täglich frische Karte. Sehr netter Service. Essen kam sogar recht schnell. War sehr lecker. Am Ende haben wir sogar eine kleine alkoholfreie Schnapsalternative bekommen, weil wir kein Alkohol trinken wollten an dem Tag.

During my work assignment in Bad Reichenhall, I was a regular at Mama Rosa, and it quickly became one of my personal havens. No show, no frills, just top-quality products, honest craftsmanship, and a team that works attentively and professionally. The fresh fish, excellent seafood, and the homemade, artisanal pasta are particularly impressive—among the best I've had in 2025. The small, ever-changing menu demonstrates the genuine care and seasonal focus that goes into cooking. A very well-curated wine list perfectly complements the dishes. The ambiance is bright, simple, and pleasantly Italian. The service is excellent, attentive, and friendly without ever being intrusive. For me, every visit was a little highlight and a weekly treat that truly did me good during that time. A restaurant I can wholeheartedly recommend.

We spontaneously decided to go to the thermal baths late Saturday afternoon due to the bad weather. Afterwards, during a walk, we stumbled upon Mamma Rosa. A small, cozy restaurant, just like in Italy. Very friendly staff. We immediately felt comfortable. The restaurant was still quite busy around 9 pm. We didn't wait 10 minutes for our food. Okay, I ordered vitello tonnato. My wife ordered sea bass with vegetables. The best sea bass we've ever had. The vitello was also excellent, followed by panna cotta, just as it should be. Unfortunately, the Prosecco wasn't to our taste, so we ordered a house white wine. That was good. All in all, a very nice evening with very good food. Excellent. We'll definitely eat there again on our next visit to the thermal baths.

Better than in Italy! When we're on vacation in Bad Reichenhall, we eat several times at the Mamma Rosa restaurant. They have the best, freshest fish. Top quality at very fair prices. Hard to find these days. The service is very friendly and attentive. Make sure you make a reservation and enjoy an evening like in Italy.

We went there for dinner twice during our stay in Bad Reichenhall. The very friendly and exceptionally pleasant service, homemade pasta and creative preparation, and excellent wines, all served by the glass, were all very enjoyable. The Pasta Frutti di Mare was absolutely outstanding, as were all the other dishes. Keep up the good work! We'd love to come back if we get the chance. We had two wonderful evenings.

This is my first time at this restaurant, so I'm not familiar with the menu. There weren't any blackboards at the tables, but rather boards scattered throughout the restaurant. Some of them aren't visible from your seat, and you have to walk through the restaurant, which is well-spaced. I ordered an appetizer platter and wasn't informed that they come in two different sizes. After my plate was served and I asked, I was told this was the large plate. The appetizer platter consisted of 80% cold vegetables, two wafer-thin slices of salami, and three cubes of Parmesan cheese. .......and the waitress wasn't even interested in asking if I had any other requests... ITALIAN CUISINE REALLY CAN BE BETTER Luckily, there's a small, hidden Italian restaurant in town where the food is good and the service is delicious. I would have liked to have taken a picture, but unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with me.

Always delicious, fresh food and friendly, fast service. The menu on the board is stylish and fits the overall look of the restaurant. During the week at lunchtime, you can drop by without a reservation; in the evenings and on weekends, reservations are recommended. All in all, a worthwhile visit, where you'll be happy to spend a little extra.

The pasta is truly homemade. Everything is freshly prepared. What we didn't like was that the menus are only blackboards. Not all the ingredients are listed. For example, pasta a la arabiatica has olives and capers in it. There was nothing about that on the blackboard. Unfortunately, they only serve bottled beer. They don't serve pizzas. Probably because it's a restaurant, not a pizzeria. There are no tablecloths. Plastic flowers in the vase. The restaurant has a somewhat dark feel, which is also due to the decor, and it's not that big. Reservations are advisable. Prices are a bit higher. We aren't regulars and were treated a bit superficially. Regulars received more attentive service, and they received a free limoncello. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant. For the price, there are plenty of alternatives in the area.

Bad Reichenhall has the best Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, as always. We'd love to come back.

I was in Bad Reichenhall for four days, and we ate there three times. The various pasta dishes were simply amazing. We wanted to reserve a table today, but they're closed on Sundays. They deserve it 😊😊

Everything was perfect! Unfortunately, there's no menu, so you wander around the restaurant trying to find the right thing on the various boards.

This Italian restaurant has a really cool concept: There's no menu! Instead, there are blackboards everywhere listing the dishes and drinks! The spaghetti was amazing! A+ for the taste! The value for money is also very good! If it weren't so far from home (1,021 km), we'd come here more often!

Beautiful restaurant with the best Italian flair in a best location in Bad Reichenhall. The Italian owners almost exclusively serve excellent fish dishes with homemade pasta. Every dish is a culinary highlight. The service is very good, the Italian crew is very friendly. In the beautifully and typically Italian furnished Ristorante you feel like you are on holiday in Italy. It's even nicer on a spring day like today on the terrace. Back here after a long time and it's nice that nothing has changed. The menu is still a blackboard that you just take a photo of and you're good to go. Even the house wine, a Trebbiano, gives hope for more and that turned out to be the case. We really liked the Cozze in white wine, we were very impressed by the pasta dishes with different side dishes, the pasta was cooked to perfection, the side dishes were very tasty and rich. Worth mentioning was the tartuffo with limoncello, absolutely brilliant! All in all, a very successful evening, with a really good meal, in a really nice restaurant, with super friendly people in the service and the kitchen. The price is absolutely reasonable for this quality. We'll definitely be happy to come back!

Nach längerer Zeit wieder hier und schön, dass sich nichts verändert hat. Noch immer ist die Speisekarte eine Wandtafel, die man nur abfotografiert und schon kann es los gehen. Schon der Hauswein, ein Trebbiano läßt auf mehr hoffen und das hat sich auch bewahrheitet. Die Cozze in Weißwein schmeckten uns super, Die Nudelgerichte mit unterschiedlichen Beilagen konnten uns sehr überzeugen, Die Pasta auf den Punkt gekocht, die Beilagen super abgeschmeckt und reichhaltig. Sehr zu erwähnen war das Tartuffo mit Limoncello, absolut genial! In Summe ein sehr gelungener Abend, mit einem super guten Essen, in einem recht schönen Loka,l mit super freundlichen Menschen im Service und der Küche. Der Preis ist absolut angemessen für diese Qualität. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder!

Perfect pasta and antipasti! We love all the dishes we ordered. The tuna tartar and seawolf tartar are so fresh and the sauces blend in very well. Then all the pasta is fresh! The taste is so natural. We had a spicy sauce with steinpilzen mushroom. The mushroom fragrance comes out naturally and makes the whole pasta a piece of art! We love everything. 2nd time here already. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend it!

Ich hatte Spaghetti Mongole die sehr gut waren .Als Hauptspeise hatte ich Thunfisch mit Gemüse . Es war alles sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe gekocht. Ich bin geschäftlich viel unterwegs und freue mich immer auf Restaurants dieser Klasse. Sehr zu empfehlen und gerne wieder. Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.

A week ago I had reserved a table for 3 people in the evening, when I arrived with my guests we were offered a long-legged table with equally long-legged chairs as a reservation. Since I wanted to celebrate my 80th birthday with my friends, I was horrified as to how we could sit at this table at our age, especially right next to the door. I was told that the table that was still free was reserved for 5 people. It was very unfriendly and left me very disappointed. I cannot recommend the restaurant if reservations are not possible. It was very embarrassing for me to put my guests in such a situation, simply unbelievable, I will advise all my friends not to subject themselves to such embarrassment.

The food is excellent, everything is fresh, if something is out it is taken off the table. The pasta is homemade and the fish is grilled to perfection. Highly recommended! Be sure to make a reservation as the restaurant is not very big.

Very friendly service. Food was okay, but without any taste sophistication.

I was there at the weekend with my partner. When we arrived it took a little while for the waiter to take the drinks, but since the place was very full, that's very understandable for me. After ordering, the drinks came very quickly and then the food was ordered. My only drawback is that it is quite loud in the crowded restaurant. Which for me personally spoils the good ambience a bit. I would eat there again at any time. If we are in the corner again soon, we will definitely come back! In terms of taste and also for the eye, the dishes were simply fantastic. My partner told me he had never eaten better scampi. Many thanks to the kitchen and the great staff! Keep it up.

There is no typical menu. The menu is written on the blackboard. You can choose pasta or fish meals. The waitress is really friendly and gives nice recommendations of food and wine! Sad that the pistachio soufflés is not available then but tiramisu is also nice. I enjoyed my time there! :)

We had reserved a table two days before, but we didn't know anything about it. After some back and forth we were allowed to sit down, but were then ignored for 20 minutes. The “house wine” at €15 for 0.5 liters was scary, every tetra pack of wine is better. We ordered four meals, each of which was of poor quality and tasteless. Sorry, I don't understand why there is such a hype about this place. Just a shame about the money!!!!!

We came across this small, inconspicuous gem by chance as we were traveling by racing bike. The atmosphere was nice, the service (no matter who) was super friendly and very accommodating. The food was amazing, tastefully and visually very well prepared. Can really only be highly recommended. A real insider tip, this great restaurant. We had the tuna with balsamic cream, the tuna tartare and vegetables. For dessert, homemade tiramisu and panacotta. Great, simply delicious.

We hadn't made a reservation and asked if there was still a place for us. We were immediately given a friendly welcome and we were able to stay there despite the full house. The service was great, the food was incredibly tasty. We would love to come back. Thank you!
