It says it's open online, the doors are open, and the music is playing, but even after ringing the bell several times, there's no response. It's a shame.

I've been giving Mama Mady's a chance to prove itself ever since it left Katterbach. Unfortunately, I'm always disappointed. And that was the case today. My wife and I ordered two different burgers, but they were exactly the same, with a price difference of €3. That's a huge rip-off of the customer!!! The burger buns are toasted for so long that they're dry as dust. The "BBQ" sauce also tasted more like an overly acidic burger sauce. Not tasty. The prices are a bit too high in my opinion. Especially since they don't even offer a few fries on the side, or even a small bowl of Calwslaw. What a shame, what a shame. I won't recommend it to anyone else, and I won't be coming back. The opportunity was missed.

I came here for dinner and was surprised by how beautifully decorated it is. The music also fits the overall vibe. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite large. The people here are also very friendly. It wasn't too crowded, but there were still quite a few people there. Accordingly, it wasn't noisy. Unfortunately, the food was a bit expensive, and I had to wait quite a long time. But I would definitely come here again.

The Classic Burger was a bit pricey at €12.50, but super tasty – and I was full. Service was friendly, but I had to complain about two minor issues. They were rectified without any problems. Highly recommended.

After repeated requests, the food arrived halfway through an hour. Our friends had to wait about 30 minutes for drinks. The service left a lot to be desired; no one came to ask if everything was okay, or even if nothing... it was absolutely terrible.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the quality of this restaurant has declined considerably compared to usual. The food is brought to the table without cutlery. By the time the cutlery does arrive, the food is unfortunately already cold. I was absolutely disappointed with the taste today. The burgers and spare ribs were usually nice and spicy and balanced, but this time everything was pretty bland. Even the deluxe chili cheese fries didn't have the super house sauce on them anymore. The plate for our onion rings was also still dirty. If the quality improves again, I can definitely recommend this place; otherwise, not at the moment.

Unfortunately, the staff were very bad-tempered and rude. The cocktails we ordered weren't available; they simply tried to sell us other cocktails than the ones we ordered. The food was sometimes brought to the table incomplete, and by 5:15 p.m., there was no pizza left (despite a large pizza menu on the table). Unfortunately, the food was not good, not to mention the service.

We went there for a burger for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, the flavor had diminished considerably. The beer was sold as Guinness, but it wasn't. After a change of ownership, the restaurant is no longer recommended... what a shame, it used to be a really good place for American food. This was our last visit there.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the burgers. The veggie burger's patty was very black and tasted burnt accordingly. The buns were rather soggy, as were the lettuce and fries. Even the single pickle, topped with a dab of ketchup, couldn't save it. The icing on the cake was that we asked twice over the phone whether the Sunny Burger was vegan and cheese-free. We were assured twice that it was. We picked it up, checked at home... The burger was definitely cheese-free. Unfortunately, it was our first and last order.

It used to be a truly top-notch place. Went on a Saturday night with a couple. The lemonade tasted like nail polish remover, and the burgers were, unfortunately, just average.

The waitress was overwhelmed. After we were informed that the drink we ordered was out, the other drink was also not given priority. Some of the drinks arrived after the food. The food tasted frozen. The restaurant received 4.5 stars because of the previous owner.

The food wasn't good; it must have changed hands. I had mac and cheese, but you can't call it mac and cheese. We got some drinks after our meals, which is also completely unacceptable.

The waitress was snappy when we said the food wasn't good. We used to go there often under the old owners, and it was always good, but now things have declined under the new owners. We won't be coming back.

The burger was cold, but I didn't complain because I didn't want to wait forever for the food again. The fries I ordered were on a plate that hadn't been ordered. A drink wasn't served because the dispensing system was apparently not working. They also didn't ask if I wanted a different drink. The food was served without cutlery; overall, the service seemed lost, even though there weren't many customers. Sorry, I can't recommend it.

We went to Mama Mady's again and were more than disappointed. The man who greeted us didn't speak a word of German. We initially had problems with the ordering system. The waitress came after I went to the counter and took our order. We had a grill plate (30 euros!!! without sides) which we wanted to share. When it arrived, the steak called a ripeye steak was about 1 cm thick and bone dry and cooked through. The pork neck steak was no better. Then there was a piece of chicken breast and three chicken wings. When I told the waitress that the steak was like the sole of a shoe, she didn't understand me. Bottom line: too expensive for the service provided. Unfortunately, that was the last time we went there. Mady would be ashamed of what has become of her shop.

One star only because I have to give it, or rather because of the ambiance. The ambiance is like that of a large diner chain in the USA. Service, okay, impossible without English skills, but at least it was friendly. Later, one or two German waitresses dared to come out. Food was terrible. The burger patty was a complete mess of meat glue with a strange fishy aftertaste (old grease?). The lettuce was soggy, the burger bases were soggy all the way to the plate. The bacon on the bacon cheese fries was burnt, and the cheese sauce had more preservatives than anything else. It was just warmed up from a bag. The homemade lemonade was cloyingly sweet; I now even doubt it was actually homemade. To make matters worse, the next day my wife's and my stomachs started churning, and we feel sick thinking about that evening. In short, NEVER AGAIN, not even if I get my money back!!!

Unfortunately, the mac n cheese was cold. At our table, the burger was missing fries, but it did come with sour cream?! When the waitress asked if everything was okay, we expressed our concerns. She reacted rudely, saying the kitchen was overwhelmed (there were 10 people in the restaurant), stuck her finger into the mac n cheese, and said it was still a bit warm, "I don't understand her problem, and I don't want to serve people like her anymore... And I don't want to eat here anymore." All in all, absolutely not recommended, and expensive to boot.

The food was okay. Unlovable and lacking any American flair. Staff were sometimes unfriendly. A side dish was missing. We were still charged by mistake. A complaint about the cold pasta dish was dismissed. The lady stuck her finger in it and said, "It's still warm now." Paying by card took 10 minutes. Cash payment was declined three times. On the fourth attempt, after suggesting that their internal card reader problem be resolved later, the cash was accepted, and we were finally able to leave. I'm sorry to say but I was disappointed, the quality of the food was very poor, cold burgers, tasteless ribs, we definitely won't be coming back!

When I order a salad for over €10, I expect more than just two small strips of bell pepper, three slices of cucumber, three slices of tomato, and just lettuce. The advertised garlic bread consisted of one thin slice. The dressing was a ready-made mix. The croutons were completely missing. Sorry, but I get more for my money even at the Golden Seagull. My companion's burger wasn't tasty either and consisted of a frozen patty. A bit sad for a burger place. The corn on the cob that came with it was good, though. Still, at least! We definitely won't be coming back. What a shame!

Based on old reviews .the mixed appetizer dish with fired things was good . And we ordered Mac and cheese and some fries with cheese. The cheese was disgusting wi felt nothing like cheese it tasted like a powder mixture with water . We had to try 4 different cards 8 times until some card worked . I am personally not going there again.

Despite the new tenant, this restaurant is not recommended. The burger was smaller than shown in the pictures, so small that it wasn't filling. The burger bread was dry, there was a lot of sauce and the meat was quite blandly seasoned. The fries were okay, but the cheese sauce with the fries was the ready-made sauce that is also used for mac'n'cheese.

Not recommended, it started with a dark, cold room climate and continued with the fact that we had to order via a tablet which, when we tried to put something in the shopping cart, only announced that the restaurant was closed, so we had to wait for the service again, 5 minutes later a less motivated employee came and took our order, 2 minutes later the drinks arrived and another 5 minutes later our food (less than 10 minutes). Visually it looked okay, but wasn't the most appealing. To make things even more enjoyable, the fries and wedges we ordered were reasonably crispy and hot, and the portion was a bit steep for the price of €4.50 per portion. Then the first attempt at the burger was just disappointing..., simply cold inside and out, bun tasted like old toasted toast from the day before, chicken patty looked worse pressed than the nuggets from the golden M and the breading was hard..., salad brown and soggy. All in all, it tasted as if everything had already been pre-produced and just slapped together, which would also speak for the short waiting time.., loveless, tasteless and basically not edible.., I rarely leave food lying around but at some point I couldn't eat anything anymore.. We definitely wouldn't come back again

The shop is great. I've been there at least 10 times. The food is prepared quickly and always tastes great. It didn't matter whether I was there with a blonde or a brunette... I've never left there even remotely hungry. My absolute favorite appetizer is the mac ‘n’ cheese. There are more than enough parking spaces directly in front of the house. The burgers are simply delicious - the buns are freshly baked, not a ready-made product, and the meat is fresh, not frozen. You can really taste the quality! We particularly loved the children's corner - a great idea! While the children play, parents can enjoy their meal in peace. This is exactly what we often missed in other restaurants. There is also a large selection of delicious cocktails and a mega cool ice cream machine - a highlight for the whole family! We will definitely be back and are even planning to celebrate a child's birthday here. 100% recommendation!

A real insider tip for burger lovers! We visited this restaurant again after the change of ownership and were pleasantly surprised! The burger patties are freshly prepared, the burger buns are homemade, and the homemade cranberry drink was a real treat. You can immediately tell that attention is paid to quality and taste here. In addition, the entire team – from the owners to the employees – was extremely friendly and accommodating. The service was top and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. It's been a long time since we've eaten here again, and what you have to say is that the burgers have gotten better. However, in my opinion the price/performance ratio is not right: 18€ for a medium-sized average burger + 4.50 for a coleslaw as a side dish. The cocktail (mojito) comes without mint, which should definitely not be the case. Ordering was easy via smartphone via QR code. The atmosphere is very nice and, above all, comfortable.

At first, all of the food was brought to the wrong table, then some of the items were already cold (but they were exchanged without any problems) and the taste was just fine. Side dishes are mostly run-of-the-mill frozen things. Spare ribs were very tender but far too little for the price. We spontaneously went there for the first time with an online reservation on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. with our toddler. I can't understand the good reviews! Overall the burger was dry! Dry, almost hard bread (hard! Not crispy) Relatively dry meat. Not enough sauce on the burger. Curly Fries Lapprig. Ordered two side dishes - one of which was not brought. Wait a little longer if you want to pay. I prefer to eat a burger where the fat and sauce drips out and is therefore very juicy. The description of every burger emphasizes "juicy" I think that would be common in the USA and that's what the restaurant wants to achieve?

You have to wait quite a long time to get a seat. The service staff is wearing unusual clothing (jogging suits), which simply doesn't fit the atmosphere and doesn't seem professional. Just as a tip. The burgers were average for us. The food didn't come to the table at the same time, two meals came very late. The burgers were medium and lukewarm. A few wedges for an extra €4.50… Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

This was my second time eating here. The chilli from Carne Fries tasted great and can really be recommended. The burger was significantly better last time. Of course it could be during the day. Ordering using the QR code is great. The kids menu is ideal for normal hunger. What would be nice if barbeque sauce was standard in the sauce stand. The sauce currently costs something. Ketchup and mayo are available on the tables for free. The furnishings look a bit like in America.

Update February 15, 2025 Apparently there has been a change of operator here since our last visit and it shows. Communication with the staff is rather difficult. The quality of the food has deteriorated for me. The portions, especially the side dishes, have become smaller. Overall, I fluctuate between 3 and 4 stars, but I think 4 stars is still justifiable.

It's not my first time here, it's one of my favorite restaurants, it has changed a lot after the new owners arrived, hygiene comes first, playground for children, very pleasant, friendly and understanding staff, I had the best cocktails, I was surprised, very good, the food seems to taste better, everything is fresh and tasty, the burger bun is much better than before, the best Angus meat, fresh and tasty salads, very good pizza, we will definitely come back!

Went out to eat with friends today and were really looking forward to it because the food was always great there, but today it was a shock of life, inedible burgers tasted like old greasy ones, we ordered Coca Cola, what we saw and tasted was the cheap Coke from the discounter, not even the children liked the food, when we were told that the food wasn't good, all we got was an Ah Okay, very, very sad, but we won't go in there again.

The food is fresh and deliciously prepared. The waiting time is ok, even if the restaurant is full. The volume is a bit unpleasant, especially when you're sitting at the play area. But you can understand that. Especially if you have children of your own. We'd love to come back.

Food was delicious and everything tasted good. , Service only stopped by when it brought us something. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks despite the empty tables. We also waited a long time to pay, so several tables got up and went to the front to pay. Ambiance: it was very cold. At the old location it was cozier, warmer, there was good music and more flair.

DISASTER!! Service = catastrophic, food = has nothing to do with the quality Mady once had, fries dry, would like to know when the deep fryer fat was last changed. Not all dishes can be ordered via QR, 30 minute waiting time for drinks, service had no idea what dishes were being served. Service tried to be friendly, but unfortunately that's no use if everything goes wrong. The ambience, well, is ok. The whole team is very overwhelmed. Customer Review for the wonderful Mama Mady's Diner - January 2025 I was curious about American food and really wanted to try it. Positive: The food: The burger was excellent - everything was very fresh, juicy and simply delicious. The service was extremely courteous, from the friendly greeting at the entrance to the escort to the seat. The staff were all extremely friendly, and that really made the stay a very special experience. The ambience is a real highlight - an authentic, cozy diner that immediately reminds you of America. And the price-performance ratio is also convincing, because the prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered. Negative: The bun of the burger was a bit too crumbly, which slightly spoiled the enjoyment for me personally. The lighting could be a bit brighter on some tables, but that's just a minor point. My conclusion: Mama Mady's Diner is definitely worth a visit! The quality of the food, the friendly service and the authentic ambience make it a great experience. However, small improvements in the lighting and the bread rolls could make the stay perfect. We can definitely recommend "Mama Mady's Diner" to anyone who wants to enjoy American food in an atmospheric atmosphere!

A gastronomic low point! In this "diner" sterility is the host. An anonymous reception, a digital menu and practically invisible service awaited us. We sat on plastic and ate from plastic plates. The tables around us were neither cleared nor set as soon as they were deserted. This sight was only masked by the colorful plastic decorations that were scattered around the room, on the ceiling and in the windows for Christmas. The burgers were put together carelessly and unimaginatively and were served lukewarm without saying anything. Ice-cold cutlery was also served. Side dishes had to be ordered separately, so we easily came to more than €20 per burger. The Caeser salad was absolutely tasteless, visually and gustatory. Conclusion: The combination of ambience, price, performance and service was certainly one of our gastronomic low points. Anyone who gives this "restaurant" a (very) good rating probably also believes that McDonald's has three Michelin stars.

After our visit today, it was clear to me that I had to give a review since I've actually never seen anything like it. As already mentioned, the menu is only available via QR code, where you can also order food and drinks. What initially looked like a reasonably good concept ended up being a flop. You can choose which burger you want, what you want on it and what you would like to live without. Unfortunately, what we ordered either didn't arrive at all or arrived incorrectly. It can happen sometimes. What was really a shame, however, was the completely exorbitant price. In terms of size, the burger and chicken patty could compete with a cheeseburger from the Golden M, but charging €14 for that is a bit bold, and mind you, without any side dishes. You can also quickly taste that finished products are being used, and there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of quality. The bacon was not fried and the fries that were chosen as a side dish were no more than 15 pieces for a hefty €5. I'm well aware that everything has become more expensive, but the price/performance ratio here is clearly a rip-off. The minimal service that was available (since everything can be ordered with your cell phone) was also not convincing. The only thing I liked was the atmosphere and ambience, but even for that the price is too high. We won't come back again.

We were there about an hour ago and it was really nice there. We were warmly welcomed and given a clean place straight away. The function that allows you to order with your cell phone is really good, as it allows you to get the dishes and drinks you want much quicker. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The milkshakes were very tasty and so were the side dishes. The diner was beautifully decorated and therefore had a very nice atmosphere, which is why we stayed there for around three hours. In conclusion, I can only recommend it to everyone and I will definitely come again myself.

We recently went there for dinner and found it rather disappointing compared to my previous visits. Unfortunately, you have to order everything using a QR code on your smartphone, which is probably not so easy for older people. There is therefore no service, except for bringing and collecting the ordered food and drinks. The food itself tastes ok, although some of it obviously uses ready-made products. I found the prices completely excessive for what you get. For a tiny vegetarian burger with a bun that you probably bought, you pay around 10 euros and there is no side dish included, for what feels like a ridiculous 15 fries in a small bowl you pay another 5 euros extra. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the burger itself was more of a children's portion, see photo... In any case, I didn't get full - I also mentioned that when clearing up, the staff only reacted with a brief smile and they wanted to pass it on. When we asked, we were told that we had to check whether the supplier had delivered the dessert again, so unfortunately they didn't make it themselves. We then didn't order any more. My conclusion: It's a shame if the price/performance isn't right anymore - it used to be a great restaurant.

Very friendly staff, always attentive and asking if everything was okay or if something was wanted. Food was ready quickly, large portions, extremely tasty and really attractively presented. Furnishings are typical of a diner, cozy and clean. Christmas decoration corner something different and really beautiful. We, 2 adults and 2 teens, really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back. Keep it up!

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Ordering via cell phone, no personal service, which is a shame. Ordering probably caused confusion in the kitchen. Starters were served with the main course, or not served at all until asked. Burger 🍔 buns were very dry. Unfortunately for me this has nothing to do with American flair. Conditions were friendly and accommodating. However, the food was not what we had hoped for. Conclusion: Unfortunately there won't be a next time.

We used to really enjoy going to Mama Mady's Diner, but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated dramatically in recent years. The soft drinks are so thinly mixed with syrup that they only taste like water or very stale and the burgers have also become dry and tasteless.
