We arrived for lunch just after it was open. The place inside was rather small. But they have more tables outside. Delicious malatang with fresh ingredients and plenty of choices. The classic broth was tasty. They provided 2 different chili sauces, the Chinese with sesame and the spicy south east Asian one. The older lady who cooks was friendly and enthusiastic.

A really great little shop with a special concept. You choose your desired ingredients from a well-stocked cooling shelf, from which a fresh soup is then prepared. The taste is absolutely top – and all at a very fair price. It's a bit cramped inside, but when the weather is good there is also comfortable seating outside. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but definitely a big recommendation!

Super super delicious! I can highly recommend the mushroom broth for mushroom lovers. Drink could be a little better chilled. Very nice places outside in the sun. Quiet street, so almost no annoying traffic. Price-wise, it's also very affordable for ramen. ;)

We went there twice and both times there was something in our soup that we didn't put in. One time it was an indefinable ball/core, another time it was a surimi stick. Especially considering that we're vegetarian, that's really not possible... Otherwise it was tasty and there is a lot to choose from. Unfortunately it's very narrow and not comfortable inside, but you can sit nicer outside.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone with an authentic Asian craving. The mala spice broth (Sehr scharf version) is an asian spicy dream. Not overwhelmingly spicy. The selection of toppings and meat and vegetables is also incredible

Although there are many new Mala places now in the city, this is still my favorite one. But unfortunately they changed the fish cake cube. Hopefully they bring back the original fish cake cube.

This was absolutely delicious! Such a comforting experience. There's no limit for the ingredients you want to add in your bowl. And multiple broths to choose from! I love spicy food, and I ate the chilli broth, level 2 of spice and it was IT!!! Specially in this cold, it hits the spot! However if you don't deal well with the spice, even the level 1 might be a bit too spicy for you. I wish there could be a bit more variety of meat, however the veggies and variety of tofu makes up for it! I super recommend. The price is actually super worth it for the amount you eat and you still can pack it to go in case you can't finish your meal right at the spot! The place is tiny, so if it's full, it can be a bit loud, and the wait might take a while, so make sure to arrive a bit earlier. Thank you for the food! In the basement of a house you can collect various ingredients from the refrigerated counter in a bowl. Then choose the soups from mild to spicy. Food was delicious and almost identical to Beijing. The audience is young, dynamic and colorful. Everything is a bit cramped, but worth a visit.

However, the restaurant is so small and cramped that you can hardly get a seat (just wait) and you can hardly move around inside. A small but fine restaurant where you can put together your own soup. You get a bowl into which you fill fresh ingredients from two cooling shelves according to your personal preference. You hand the bowl over at the counter, choose a broth and then pay based on the weight of the ingredients (excluding broth). The bowl goes into the kitchen, where the soup is finished being prepared. The beeper you were given earlier tells you when the soup is ready. You can then finish the soup with various toppings (garlic oil, spring onions, etc.) and then enjoy it (but be careful, the soup is very hot!). The restaurant is very small, I think I only saw 4 small tables. There are 4 more seats at the bar. That's why you should be there early after opening or accept longer waiting times. But the wait is definitely worth it. If you can't make your soup, you can take the rest with you for €0.50 for packaging. Or you can order the soup to go from the start.

The service is very good. You must eat the crispy pork! The freshly fried ones are delicious, and there are also chicken nuggets! Very fragrant! There is also my favorite Jiaduobao herbal tea!

I tried Mala Tang (Chili special) at level 2 and it wasn't spicy at all, and Mala Xianggu (Mala mix) was normal spicy, but it tasted like it was mixed with 90% peanut sauce and 10% chili oil. It tastes more spicy than the malatang and mala xiangguo I had in Korea. I wish it was a little spicier. Overall, the taste itself is not bad.

Today was a bad experience for me. My wife and I have been here many times but this place is terrible, the tomato soup is very little and cold, even though we were asked to add tomato soup and warm it up, the variety is not much.

Mala Town is a great tip for anyone who wants to put together their own soup. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. It was already busy at the time, which is why some of the ingredients were no longer available. What pleasantly surprised us is that the ingredients are not refilled, so you have the feeling that everything is really fresh. There is also a great selection of broths. The toppings were great too. We'd love to come back.

Small shop with a cool idea. You build your own ramen bowl like Lego, hence a Lego ramen. Was with the boys and had us very full. But you pay a lot, unless you're a saver and smarter than me. I'll be honest, I wanted to fill the thing full of my favorite ingredients and I didn't care about the price. Still highly recommended and delicious.

1. Out of 10 points, give it 4 points. 2. Ordered two portions, one spicy soup and one spicy mix. Both portions were not hot, even slightly lukewarm. I didn’t understand how the freshly cooked rice could feel like it was about to go cold. The taste is also average, because there are few types of dishes, there are few choices, and it is not cheap, which is understandable for European consumers. 3. There are few types of optional dishes. The meatballs are domestic cheap frozen starch meatballs. I don’t have to be too strict about how good they are. After all, it’s not easy to import. The beef rolls are not very fresh, and most of the vegetables except spinach are cabbage. There are several kinds of mushrooms, noodles and noodles, potato slices and lotus root slices, which are basically most of the dishes.

Eating without getting full I love soups, especially Thai and Chinese soups with or without coconut milk. But in this restaurant I didn't like the soups at all: there wasn't enough choice of meat, the taste was either so hot (for "medium hot") that you couldn't recognize the taste of the soup anymore, or bland for "not hot at all" that you... bored. We took two soups and a Minetal water (which strangely enough I didn't receive but paid for) and paid €38. Well, for a one-time experience it's fine, but for me it was: once and never again. I just didn't like it. I don't want to make a comparison with the French food I'm used to, this food has no chance at all. Maybe it's something for young people who can't cook themselves but imagine they're eating healthy??? I also don't understand the praise I've heard about it. No comparison to a Thai soup with coconut milk or a well-cooked Chinese chicken soup, let alone a Chinese duck dish. The restaurant is in an unpleasant basement, you definitely have to get a table outside on the street.

As soon as you come in you can grab a bowl and choose from a large selection in the fridge - lots of choice in vegan/vegetarian options as well as meat and fish, all at fair prices. The restaurant is in a residential area, so parking is scarce. It is small, very popular and therefore often full, which can lead to waiting times. That's why I choose less busy times. In summer there are significantly more tables outside than inside. Sometimes certain products are sold out, but overall it's always worth a visit. I've been there many times, taken a lot with me and was always thrilled. The staff is also very friendly.

The best Ramen I have eaten in Stuttgart! I love the fact that you can choose your own ingredients! The price is great and the portions are generous. I like it so much that I have invited all my friends sometimes I pick it up and take it home since there is always a lot of people and the restaurant is quite small, so you have to bring some time with you. At first they had really good containers for the food, they were green and there was no possibility of leaking and the food stayed pretty warm, now the have changed the containers and I personally don’t like it at all, the food get cold and there is way less broth then with the other containers! Please bring the containers back 💡
