Unglaublich leckere und authentische Gerichte. Ich kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren uns am Abendessen unter der Woche. Es gab genug Platz, da man im Sommer draußen sitzen kann. Preisleistung ist schwer. Ich habe circa zwölf Euro gezahlt für meine Schüssel. Getränke sehr Verhältnis teurer. Das Essen war extrem schnell zubereitet, nachdem man sich die Speisen selbst zusammengestellt hat aus dem Kühlregal. Das Gemüse und die Sachen, die dort waren, sahen frisch aus. Wir kommen gerne wieder - zu empfehlen, dass auszuprobieren

Wie waren als Familie zu dritt. Man suchst sich die Zutaten selbst aus. Der Preis ist pro 100g und daher sehr intransparent. Diese Suppe auf dem Foto hat uns alleine 40€ gekostet. Wir waren ehrlich gesagt etwas schockiert.

Super liebes Team und sehr leckeres Essen! Die Pilzbrühe ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Konzept, sich seine Nudelsorte und Zutaten selbst aussuchen zu können, hat uns sehr gefallen. Alles war frisch und reichlich vorhanden. Die scharfe Chilibrühe war perfekt, und für alle, die es gerne scharf mögen, gibt es unbegrenzt zusätzliche Toppings mit Chiliöl und scharfer Soße. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten Glück, dass es ein regnerischer Sonntag war, daher war es nicht überfüllt. Da es aber nur wenige Sitzplätze gibt, kann es zu Wartezeiten kommen.

Wundervoller Ort mit top Qualität! Alles super lecker und frisch. Man sitzt wie in einem Wohnzimmer. Wir kommen alle 2 Wochen her 🤣

Wirklich einer der gutes Mala spot im Stuttgart. Die Brühe ist frisch und die Schärfe passt gut für mich. Ich hoffe jedoch, dass es eine größere Auswahl an Meeresfrüchten geben wird.

Witziges Konzept: Bezahlung nach Gewicht. Die kompakte Sitzgruppe trägt zur Authentizität bei. Unbedingt probieren für alle Liebhaber der asiatischen Küche – vielleicht werden Sie danach Stammgast ;)

Großartige Atmosphäre, klein, eng, offen, fühle mich fast wieder wie in Asien. An zwei großen offenen Kühlregalen sucht man sich die Zutaten für seine Suppe aus und legt alles in seine große Plastikschüssel die am Ende gewogen wird, der Preis richtet sich nach Gewicht. Dann gibt man die Schüssel ab und bekommt einen Piepser (das penetrante piepser Geräusch ist der Grund warum ich beim Ambiente 1 Stern abziehe). Die Brühen sind sehr geschmackvoll, man darf sich kostenfrei toppings nach Wahl nehmen und wenn etwas übrig bleibt wird es professionell verschweißt und verpackt zum sicheren Transport nach Hause. Wir kommen wieder, toller kleiner Fleck Asien mitten in Stuttgart. Bei sonnigem Wetter kann man sogar draußen sitzen.

Große, reichhaltige Schüssel + frisches Grünzeug dazu :)

Die Atmosphäre ist super entspannt – fast so, als würde man ein kleines Stück Chinatown mitten in der Stadt erleben. Das Essen ist super lecker und frisch. Besonders schön: man sucht sich selbst aus dem Kühlschrank aus, was man essen möchte, und lässt es dann direkt zubereiten – so bekommt jeder genau das, worauf er Lust hat. Reservieren tun wir eigentlich nie, und bisher hat das auch immer problemlos funktioniert.

Mit einem Wort: Ich fand es absolut fantastisch... schon immer!!!

So ein Nudelrestaurant habe ich noch nie erlebt. Man bekommt eine Plastikschüssel, sucht sich die Zutaten und die gewünschte Menge aus und kocht sie dann in der gewählten Brühe. Einige der Zutaten waren wirklich superlecker, zum Beispiel das gebratene Fleisch und die Omelett-Teigtaschen, und die Chilisuppe war der Wahnsinn. 10/10, würde ich sofort wieder hingehen!

Sehr cooles System mit dem selbst entscheiden. Personal war auch sehr nett und hat uns geholfen weil wir nicht viel Ahnung hatten es war unser erstes Mal dort. Aber die Brühe war sehr lecker. Wir haben sogar vom Chef gratis tiramisu bekommen. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder 👍

Sehr leckere Ramensuppen. Inhalt ist frei zusammenstellbar. Beim 1. Mal etwas schwierig, aber das nächste Mal .... und es gibt ein nächstes Mal! Soviel Auswahl, was alles in die Suppe hinein kann. Abgerechnet wird nach Gewicht.

Sehr, sehr leckere Ramen, die man sich selbst zusammenstellen kann. Die Zutaten sind frisch, Fleisch und Gemüse wird extra gebraten. Eine Brühe bestellt man sich nach Wunsch dazu und Toppings gibt’s kostenlos oben drauf. Der Laden ist sehr klein, es gibt wenige Tische, zu Stoßzeiten muss man draußen anstehen. Man sitzt recht nah an den anderen Gästen.

Ich find's mega! Viel Abwechslung zu einem sehr fairen Preis und einfach auch immer ein kleines Erlebnis!

Ein gutes Ramen-Restaurant, in dem man sich die Zutaten selbst aussuchen kann, aber es ist wirklich winzig – nur Platz für etwa drei Tische. Überlegt euch gut, was ihr bestellt und wie viel ihr nehmt, denn es wird schnell teuer. Lieber etwas weniger bestellen. Ich hätte lieber von einem Menü gewählt und einen Festpreis bezahlt.

One of the best "home made favor" spots in the city. The food was on top and the staff was really nice and patient. The restaurant itself is really small (micro-small) so it's always better to have that in mind, specially is you want big groups. But the food is definitely worth it

The food is truly wonderful; even after five visits, it doesn't get boring. Prices are perfectly reasonable; it's just a matter of mixed costs. Seating is very limited, especially when it's too cold outside, so you should expect to wait, as there are only about eight seats.

It was extremely cramped inside. There were two of us. We were moved to a larger table because our trays didn't even fit on the table. They then sent us to another table. A large portion of the meat selection simply wasn't refilled... it's deteriorated dramatically.

This is definitely not the cheapest restaurant, but you can put together the bowl completely yourself. Besides that, it's the best Asian food I've ever eaten, after local Asian. HUGE recommendation

The food is very tasty, but it gets expensive quickly. Chilled drinks are available upon request. The tomato broth was too sour for me, but the bones are delicious. No waiting time :)

The soup selection is truly diverse, and there are also plenty of options when it comes to ingredients. Of particular note is that there are three different vegetarian soups – something you rarely find. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I love soups and was very satisfied there. The selection is a bit smaller than in Reutlingen (where I had mala for the first time), but it's sufficient for a varied and delicious meal! Thank you for the little extra, because they didn't have the fermented eggs there 🙏🏻

It's definitely healthy and better than other fast food. The price for two people, with well-filled bowls, is just over €60.

You have to order it with chili instead of mala to get mala tang! I didn't know and ordered mala, so I got mala ban ㅠㅠ The mala ban was tasty, but it had a lot of peanut sauce in it, so it was greasy and heavy.

Excellent malatang in stuttgart. You can choose what you want from vegetables to meats to noodles and then customize the base you want your food cooked with - I like their original malatang base the best (this comes without a broth). They don't take reservation and can be quite popular, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a little wait as seating is a bit limited.

The idea is great: Using a large bowl, you can assemble your favorite fresh vegetables/meat/noodles from a larger refrigerator into a soup or a regular main course. You can then further refine your finished soup with various toppings (spring onions, fried onions, sesame seeds, tahini, etc.). The taste is excellent. I only found it a real shame that we arrived quite punctually/early, but the refrigerator didn't offer much choice. When I visited Mala Town two weeks ago, there wasn't even any bok choy, bean sprouts, carrots, zucchini, or even mushrooms – which are the absolute basics of a soup. Plus, there weren't any seats left inside. Unfortunately, it had also rained that day. Luckily, we were able to snag a table under the umbrellas and dine on our warm soup outside. I really like the concept. The location is just a bit shabby. I'm definitely not convinced. I'll only order takeaway in the future.

"Here is not Stuttgart, here is Mala Town" is what you see once you enter. So true! Such fun concept: you grab a bowl, pick your own fresh ingredients from the fridge (noodles, veggies, meats, sea food, tofu – all super fresh), then choose a broth. I went for the mushroom one – so good in the end! You pay by weight, and there's a sauce station to mix your own combo. We ate outside and loved it. Unique, tasty, and definitely not your average Stuttgart lunch spot. Not our first time here and will be back again, for sure!

what i love: - foods are constantly good here, always taste the same. - i love mushroom soup base, flavour is very gentle and decent. - im addicted to the food here apparently 😭 i recommended this to many friends and all of them fell in love with it. cons: - small space, which leads to long wait time and it is usually crowded so be prepared that u might have to wait 15-20’ before coming in

I'd love to give it 4.5 stars. The restaurant is cute, and the selection is good! The broths, especially the bone broth and mushroom broth, aren't strong enough for me. I've seen completely different broths from nearby restaurants that have a lot more flavor. The price/performance ratio is absolutely okay; unfortunately, the drinks are noticeably too warm. The seating is decent, but rather simple. I'd still happily come back, even if it's not quite perfect.

If you want to eat worms, come here. She said they were vegetables, and I didn't get my money back. Disgusting!!!

The food is incredibly delicious, and the wait times are no different from other restaurants. The space is very small, but we've always found a place to sit. It has its own charm and isn't your run-of-the-mill modern sushi shop offering 300 dishes. Simple and delicious. We won't go anywhere else for ramen.

We arrived for lunch just after it was open. The place inside was rather small. But they have more tables outside. Delicious malatang with fresh ingredients and plenty of choices. The classic broth was tasty. They provided 2 different chili sauces, the Chinese with sesame and the spicy south east Asian one. The older lady who cooks was friendly and enthusiastic.

A really great little shop with a special concept. You choose your desired ingredients from a well-stocked cooling shelf, from which a fresh soup is then prepared. The taste is absolutely top – and all at a very fair price. It's a bit cramped inside, but when the weather is good there is also comfortable seating outside. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but definitely a big recommendation!

Super super delicious! I can highly recommend the mushroom broth for mushroom lovers. Drink could be a little better chilled. Very nice places outside in the sun. Quiet street, so almost no annoying traffic. Price-wise, it's also very affordable for ramen. ;)

We went there twice and both times there was something in our soup that we didn't put in. One time it was an indefinable ball/core, another time it was a surimi stick. Especially considering that we're vegetarian, that's really not possible... Otherwise it was tasty and there is a lot to choose from. Unfortunately it's very narrow and not comfortable inside, but you can sit nicer outside.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone with an authentic Asian craving. The mala spice broth (Sehr scharf version) is an asian spicy dream. Not overwhelmingly spicy. The selection of toppings and meat and vegetables is also incredible

Small restaurant that has charm due to the concept and atmosphere. You need to bring some time with you as it may take some time to get a place. Highly recommended :)

Although there are many new Mala places now in the city, this is still my favorite one. But unfortunately they changed the fish cake cube. Hopefully they bring back the original fish cake cube.

This was absolutely delicious! Such a comforting experience. There's no limit for the ingredients you want to add in your bowl. And multiple broths to choose from! I love spicy food, and I ate the chilli broth, level 2 of spice and it was IT!!! Specially in this cold, it hits the spot! However if you don't deal well with the spice, even the level 1 might be a bit too spicy for you. I wish there could be a bit more variety of meat, however the veggies and variety of tofu makes up for it! I super recommend. The price is actually super worth it for the amount you eat and you still can pack it to go in case you can't finish your meal right at the spot! The place is tiny, so if it's full, it can be a bit loud, and the wait might take a while, so make sure to arrive a bit earlier. Thank you for the food! In the basement of a house you can collect various ingredients from the refrigerated counter in a bowl. Then choose the soups from mild to spicy. Food was delicious and almost identical to Beijing. The audience is young, dynamic and colorful. Everything is a bit cramped, but worth a visit.

A small but fine restaurant where you can put together your own soup. You get a bowl into which you fill fresh ingredients from two cooling shelves according to your personal preference. You hand the bowl over at the counter, choose a broth and then pay based on the weight of the ingredients (excluding broth). The bowl goes into the kitchen, where the soup is finished being prepared. The beeper you were given earlier tells you when the soup is ready. You can then finish the soup with various toppings (garlic oil, spring onions, etc.) and then enjoy it (but be careful, the soup is very hot!). The restaurant is very small, I think I only saw 4 small tables. There are 4 more seats at the bar. That's why you should be there early after opening or accept longer waiting times. But the wait is definitely worth it. If you can't make your soup, you can take the rest with you for €0.50 for packaging. Or you can order the soup to go from the start.

I tried Mala Tang (Chili special) at level 2 and it wasn't spicy at all, and Mala Xianggu (Mala mix) was normal spicy, but it tasted like it was mixed with 90% peanut sauce and 10% chili oil. It tastes more spicy than the malatang and mala xiangguo I had in Korea. I wish it was a little spicier. Overall, the taste itself is not bad.

Today was a bad experience for me. My wife and I have been here many times but this place is terrible, the tomato soup is very little and cold, even though we were asked to add tomato soup and warm it up, the variety is not much.
