Mai Linh asia food in Bremen

I've never eaten so badly, or rather, I had to send it back because it made me feel sick after just a few bites. It simply tasted stale; the peanut sauce didn't taste like peanuts, and the vegetarian spring rolls tasted of nothing but old grease. I didn't get my money back and had a stomachache afterward.

Update 2025/10: Tried it again after a long time. New menu, new owner, old name so the reviews stay the same! More Thai-style food, but actually not that good. 👎 So consider the following review a thing of the past!!! Delicious, inexpensive, good portions, very clean, Friendly service. A visual barrier between the cash registers would be perfect. My recommendation 👍

Update: There seems to have been a change in staff or ownership some time ago. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the food the last few times, but today everything was perfect: hot, fresh, and delicious, with delicious flavors! Since discovering it, I've regularly enjoyed making the trip to eat here. I especially like dish number 40, but also soups and the like, which are always freshly prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is, of course, due to its location in Kaufland, but that shouldn't be seen as a negative. It stands out from the Asian fast-food restaurants in Bremen. I highly recommend it!

I was there today, Monday, January 27, 2025, and ordered what I often order, the 41st. But this time my food was spicy. After two bites, I brought it to the lady and told her it was spicy (there was nothing on the board, and I'd ordered the food multiple times). She said no! I said yes, and then I got fed up and left.

Consistently good Asian cuisine with a wide selection. No matter what, it's always delicious. Portions are large, and the meat and vegetables are top-notch.

The woman is always very friendly and attentive to her customers and guests. The food is delicious, too!

This is my second time giving this Asian snack bar a chance, but it will definitely be my last. The food is unfortunately overpriced and seems very poorly prepared. Especially with the peanut sauce, you can tell they just used peanut butter, which makes everything seem very rushed and unfinished. One particular annoyance, however, was the lack of hygiene. A customer before me had complained about hair in his food. The assistant claimed it was the customer's hair, even though the hair was black—just like her own, while the customer had blonde hair. Overall, a disappointing experience. Too expensive, poorly prepared, and definitely room for improvement, both in the quality of the food and in the handling of hygiene and complaints.

Not good value for money. The quantity is sufficient, but I don't like the taste of the food at all. The peanut sauce is simply liquid peanut butter with sugar. I'm used to peanut sauce in a different way, with more ingredients and spices. Just by the color, you can tell it's not traditional peanut sauce. I won't be getting food from there anymore.

The fried noodles were very dry, and the vegetable soup tasted like the red sauce that's there for seasoning. It could definitely be better.

Small Asian snack bar in the office. We had the 30a chicken in vegetable peanut sauce. Mmmmm, the sauce was truly delicious, as was the chicken. The service was really friendly and prompt; we'd definitely be back.

I've eaten at many Asian and Thai restaurants, but here at Mai Linh Asia Food in the Kontor, I didn't like the fried noodles at all. The sweet and sour sauce was more acidic than anything else, and I've never had fried noodles served in a doner kebab box before, so you have to be very clear about which restaurant industry you belong to. The staff at Mai Linh Asia Food were friendly.

My wife and I really enjoy eating there, delicious, clean and friendly. I can recommend it to everyone. 👍

The food was delicious and nice and hot, the duck was crispy, the vegetables were aromatic and fresh. The waiting time was short, the service was very friendly. The location: a bit hectic and loud in the department store atmosphere. But you know that beforehand. You can definitely be satisfied with the price and performance here.

We always like to get something from Mai Linh and so far it has always been very 😋

Haben uns heute zum ersten Mal Essen mitgenommen. Es war super super lecker , ich hatte die knusprige Ente mit Reis und die Erdnusssoße mit reichlich Gemüse war in einer Extra Box , so ging beim Transport nichts daneben . Immer wieder gern , es war absolute Spitze . Danke

Sehr guter alternativer Asia Food. Keine langen Wartezeiten und wirklich große Portionen zu einem guten Preis. Wir sind immer sehr zufrieden, egal ob vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch.

Katastrophal das Essen.. unglaublich unverschämte Mitarbeiter

Essen lecker und bezahlbar, wo bekommt man das heutzutage noch das man davon auch satt ist? Hier heutzutage das..! Es ist zwar ein bisschen laut dort was aber daran liegt dass der Kassenbereich von Kaufland direkt davor ist. Sonst alles 👌

Einfach schrecklich ein Stern ist sogar Zuviel. Ich habe heute angerufen und paar Gerichte mit Nummern bestellt und den ganz normal gefragt ob sie vllt an eine Sushi Gericht was ändern können und drauf hin hat der Mitarbeiter mit ein sehr schlechten Ton gesagt ,es wird nichts verändert an deren Gerichte was ich sehr komisch finde ,dann wollte ich einfach ein vegetarisches Sushibox bestellen und als Antwort schreit er mich: Sagen sie mir den Nummer ! Und was alles drin ist Ich muss mir die Nummern von deren Speise Karte nicht auswendig lernen und als ich es sagen wollte haben sie direkt aufgelegt und als ich wieder angerufen habe um zu fragen wieso sie aufgelegt haben, sind sie nicht mal rangegangen. Also man wird sehr schlecht behandelt!!!!

Das Essen war schrecklich und hatte gar nichts mit asiatisch zu tun. Viel Soße ... Nicht einmal die Nudeln haben geschmeckt

Schade! Zum dritten Mal in diesem Jahr dort Bratnudeln gekauft und es wurde wie immer die Saucen vergessen. Jedesmal sage ich explizit dass ich die Nudeln mit süßSauer Sauce und oder Scharfer Sauce haben möchte und jedes mal wird mir das auch so bejaht. Aber trotzdem, weder das eine noch das andere auf den Nudeln? Vergisst man es einfach jedes mal wegen Kurzzeitgedächtnis? Versteht man kein Deutsch? Kosten die Saucen extra? Fragen über Fragen. Das war definitiv jetzt auch das letzte mal, 3 Chancen gehabt. Ich vermisse die früheren Besitzer, immer sehr nett gewesen, immer von selbst nach extra Sauße gefragt und der Preis war für gebratene Nudeln 2,50€! Jetzt sind es 4,50€

Ich finde es immer sehr lecker. Gut gewürzt und sehr freundliches Personal. Noch etwas mehr Gemüse und den Pfannen wäre super.

Ente mit gebratenen Reis und Gemüse. Zum Mitnehmen. Reis war pappig, Gemüse mußte ich suchen und die Ente hatte unter der harten Kruste irgendwann mal Fleisch. Nein danke, nicht noch einmal.

Wir haben heute zum ersten Mal hier gegessen und waren sehr begeistert. Absolut lecker und sehr zu empfehlen.

Habe mich sehr auf das Essen gefreut es sah auch gut aus aber geschmeckt hat es leider überhaupt nicht...die Soße war garnicht gewürzt...sehr schade...
