Today we walked from Kerkrade to the restaurant. To our surprise the restaurant was no longer there. While it says the site is open until 10pm

We were here with a Social Deal voucher for All You Can Eat. The food is OK, but the presentation on the voucher didn't match the original on site at all. Everyone is nice and friendly, but somehow not really motivated, the overall package doesn't fit. We're not coming back here for a while.

We were here with friends who invited us to dinner. The food was very good, the owners were very friendly, but the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The furniture was thrown together, not a bit of decoration (flowers, candles or anything similar on the tables). If that doesn't bother you and you just value the food, you can go there. For me, the eye also eats in and I found that a bit unloving.

If ambience and furnishings are important to you, this is the wrong place. The food was quite tasty. Unfortunately there are no signs indicating where meat/fish is included. The toilets bothered me the most. The floor was greasy and dirty, as were the toilet bowls. Service was ok, nothing more. I can imagine it being a pick-up/take-away option, but I wouldn't go there and put it in again.

All you can eat buffet is an absolute disgrace. In the first photos you can see what was offered in the deal and then what was actually there. They lost us as customers. Only sauce was offered for the meat dishes. No fish as stated. It was said that we didn't have that today... the varied dessert buffet only contained pieces of banana. Never again....

Social Deal buffet. All dishes tasted good. Downer that it was not possible to get a beer. That was on 🤔🙄. Then in my opinion something goes wrong when you take inventory. Nevertheless, 4 stars because it tasted good.

I bought two vouchers for the buffet through Social Deal. So far I have always had good experiences with the deals I have purchased. I would classify this as satisfactory. But it wasn't quite as bad as some people have written here in the last few weeks. The building was probably once an old pub and that's how you can imagine the layout. A few tables at the front, then the bar and behind it a larger hall with a stage. The buffet was also set up here. At the counter we were asked directly whether we had reserved and a colleague was called over. She then said that we could choose a table. We chose the hall because it only had one table occupied at the time. The food was okay, but I had imagined something different from a buffet. There were three starters, six main courses (three chicken, two veggie, one fish) and fruit for dessert. Unfortunately, the plates were not preheated and so the food on the plates quickly got cold. Furthermore, like in a canteen, the plates had to be put away into a cart that was standing on the side. During the time we were there, the containers were refilled several times so that there was always enough in each container. The taste was ok so far, but nothing really special. However, if we had paid the alleged €34.90 per person, I would be very annoyed. For the selection of dishes, the quality and the service, I find the €19.90/person paid just about justifiable.

Little did I know coming to Herzogenrath that I would find such delicacies, the dishes are full of flavors. I WILL be coming back. Thank you for the culinary treat!

From the outside the restaurant doesn't look particularly inviting; once you get to the front area, it has the ambience of an outdated village pub. Almost all the tables there were occupied and we were directed to the back area where the buffet was set up. The atmosphere reminds me of the warehouse of a furniture store where the remaining stock is carelessly displayed. We ordered the buffet from Heinsberg-Deal, at a special price of “only” €19.90 instead of the regular €34.90. Since we were there very early, we were able to enjoy that the first plate was still warm. Even in the second course it was still lukewarm at most. The taste was okay, but nothing more. The selection was underwhelming. The room was unheated and extremely uncomfortable. So we quickly ate and paid. Even €19.90 is significantly overpriced for what the buffet/restaurant has to offer. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We were there for the buffet. First of all, I've rarely had such a bad meal. Ok, tried it and left it. The information about the contents of the buffet is not true. The different meats advertised were chicken, chicken fried to death, burnt chicken, dry chicken, and lots of gravy without chicken. All other products such as the different types of meat were not available (not even provided for at the buffet). The buffet was all old and, above all, cold or lukewarm at best. The Indian bread tasted old and was rubbery. . The specified heavenly dessert in several variations was old and cold baked banana and watermelon which was mushy, actually bad. Serve with a delicious dry salad on the tote without any dressing, without oil, without spices. Nothing nothing nothing. The dining room is awesome. There are garden tables in there with different chairs and tablecloths. Everything rocked and dirty. Service comes after 20 minutes, no please, no thank you, rude. Tables neither set nor given cutlery. All self-service. All in all, we spent 60 euros and then went somewhere else to eat because what was on offer was inedible and simply outrageous. The pictures and information about the buffet are lies. The ambience is subterranean, the service is lousy, oh dear, non-existent.

A huge impudence! At 8 p.m. the buffet had already been grazed and the pitiful remainder of the very minimal selection was lukewarm and cold. Rip off! Never again!

Restaurant is semi-modern. The food choice is very limited with the all you can eat concept. It is all freshly prepared and delicious. Desserts choice of 3. I just advise everyone not to go to the toilet there, it is very disgusting and far from clean, not to mention hygienic. I also don't think the service is optimal. After you are completely done you have to clean up your own plate.

It was our first time in the restaurant and we tried the all you can eat buffet. When we entered, we saw three occupied tables in the front area of ​​the restaurant and waited at the reception desk/bar to see if anyone was coming (table reserved). After nothing happened, we went further to the back and were then greeted by an employee. Our eyes fell on the buffet area. We were initially horrified because it offered very little choice, especially at 8:20 p.m. (opening time/buffet time until 11 p.m.) and was very grazed. The "warming bowls" were max. 1/4 full and mostly only had sauce in them.... meaning nothing had been refilled for a long time. The bread tasted old and warmed up. There was actually no discernible curry taste in the supposed curry dishes and that Dishes weren't labeled... meaning you didn't know what you were taking (you couldn't tell the starter from the dessert as far as the labeling was concerned). The entire crew was sitting at the table themselves. We still wanted to give the restaurant a chance in terms of taste... but That was a flop and when we arrived at the table, the food on the plate was lukewarm. Ordered two Kölsch....a glass half full and without foam.....complained and saw the employee trying to drink more from a Pilsner bottle. ..the misfortune just happened....she takes a second glass and tilts the Kölsch back and forth between the glasses twice....that was enough for us...we got up and paid. When asked We answered honestly whether we didn't like it. The employee apologized, but it remains a total disaster. The restaurant is a disgrace, at least when it comes to the buffet and the service. Normally I always take photos, but we were so horrified and hungry again after 10 minutes and went outside for €23 per person including a Kölsch.

Go here if you want good food. And okay, the atmosphere / decoration could be a lot better, but the food makes up for everything.

Authentic Indian cuisine. Also served authentically. Great tandori, lots of onions and chickpeas etc. Hot, but not too hot for the European palate. Good naan, with ghee as it should be. I'd love to come back. See also the pictures.

Delivery and service: We ordered there on a Saturday and had to wait over 2 hours. They apologized, but the drink wasn't even free, the food was poorly packaged and ran out. Value for money and food: Prices are very high, but I thought the quality was just ok (for example, there's a decent amount of sauce, but things like meat or potatoes in the curry content were advertised as being stingy. The taste is still solid, therefore 3 stars for the food and 2 for value for money) I wouldn't go there order more.

Very tasty food but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. But if you want good food and you don't care much about the atmosphere and for not too much money, then this is the place for you!

Über Social Deal 2x ein Menü gekauft, welches statt 30€ nur noch 15€ kostete. Das war mal gar nix :-( Wir hatten 1x Fischmenü und 1x Fleischmenü, vor Ort separat noch Brot mit Dip bestellt, das war auch das, was uns am besten geschmeckt hat. Das Menü wurde auf einem kleinen Metallteller serviert. Darauf befanden sich eine gute Portion Reis, 3 kleine Mini-Portionen 1x Fisch oder Fleisch 2x Beilagen - Fisch, Fleisch und Beilagen befanden sich alle in einer identischen Soße :-( 1 Stück Vorspeise 1 Mini-Bällchen Nachspeise und alles auf einem Teller, dazu 1 Körbchen Krabbenchips, deshalb haben wir noch echtes Brot dazu bestellt. Geschmacklich war es nicht so dolle, aber auch nicht ganz schlecht. Eigentlich wollten wir das Essen mitnehmen und daheim essen, das ging lt. Aussage der Bedienung nicht. Leider stand das so nicht im Deal. Also haben wir das Essen unvorbereitet, mit Hund und ohne Jacke und Lust an der Straße zu sitzen, dort verspeisen müssen. Das hätten wir uns dann doch lieber erspart. Auf Nachfrage, erhielt ich die Auskunft, das es dieses Gericht so auf der Karte überhaupt nicht gibt. Der angebliche Preis von 30 Euro.......ein absoluter Phantasiepreis. Ich war der Meinung, das man über Social Deal versucht, auf sich aufmerksam zu machen und neue Kunden zu gewinnen. Obwohl wir in der Nähe wohnen, werden wir definitiv keine Neukunden bei "Mahi Indian Exotic" sein. Sehr schade, da wir immer auf der Suche nach gutem Essen in der Nähe sind.

Das Essen selbst war lecker, die Preise moderat. Allerdings waren die Portionen ein absoluter Witz. Satt wird man hier nicht.

Seit der Eröffnung vor etwas mehr als zwei Jahren gehen wir regelmäßig Essen abholen. Die Küche ist sehr authentisch und die Qualität ist ausnahmslos hervorragend. Im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants sind die Portionen auch recht groß. Der Service fällt durch besonders unverstellte Freundlichkeit auf. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Das Essen was sehr gut, aber wir mussten sehr lange darauf warten, obwohl wir an dem Abend die einzigen Gäste waren. Es war sehr kalt und die Bedienung ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten noch was zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass es längst (seit 1 h) fertig ist, wir uns aber so nett unterhalten haben. 🙄

Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt nah am Zentrum von Herzogenrath. Einige Parkplätze sind in der Nähe zu finden. Wir haben hier bereits mehrfach vor Ort gegessen und auch zum Abholen bestellt. Uns gefällt an der Auswahl der Speisen besonders gut, dass der Fokus auf die indischen Gerichte gelegt wird. Somit sind keine "internationalen Spezialitäten" wie Pommes, Pizza und Pasta zu finden. Dementsprechend muss man beim Besuch Lust und Offenheit für die indische Küche mitbringen! Alle ausprobierten Gerichte - die Auswahl an vegetarischen Varianten ist genial - haben uns bisher total gut geschmeckt, waren immer warm geliefert worden und in ausreichender Menge serviert! Vor Ort bekommt man freundlicherweise bei den Beilagen einen Nachschlag, so wie es sich gehört. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter begegnen einem stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert :)

Wenn man authentisch Indisch essen möchte dann empfehle ich hier dieses Restaurant auszuprobieren . Nicht nur, dass das Essen authentisch und lecker ist sondern, dass die Menschen die hier arbeiten einen super service leisten. Das das Indisches Essen scharf ist, ist völlig normal aber das wird denjenigen auch hier von der schärfe entsprechend angepasst. Ich bin auf jeden Fall überzeugt hier öfters wiederzukommen.

Seit Kurzem kann man bei Mahi auch Sushi bestellen. Ich war erst sehr skeptisch, aber das Sushi ist wirklich lecker!

Ontzettend lekker eten, heel vriendelijk personeel en begripvol dat ons Duits niet zo goed is. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hier te gaan eten!

Wir haben schon öfter bestellt und waren auch schon im Restaurant essen. Das ist wirklich extrem lecker! Vorort im Restaurant ist es okay. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemüht. Wir konnten jedoch nicht mit Karte bezahlen, weil dies zu teuer wäre. Das finde ich komisch. Naja wir werden weiterhin sehr gerne bestellen, aber im Restaurant werden wir wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal einkehren.

Fisch Madras und Tandoori Mix Grill haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen wieder.

Ausgezeichnetes und authentisches indisches Essen. Deutlich bessere Qualität als z.b. die Konkurrenz aus Aachen. Das Cheese Naan könnte ein wenig saftiger sein.
