Indians we trust! All of the dishes on offer are simply great in terms of quality, appearance and taste, both in the restaurant and for pick-up. The 20 minute journey is worth it every time. We are very happy to know about this type of cuisine in the area.

Anyone who likes Indian will love the Maharaja. Since the restaurant is always busy, a table should be booked. The service staff is very attentive and friendly, always comes to the table and you feel well looked after. The food is of very high quality and very nicely presented. Meat, rice, sauces and bread, all served separately. The table was just big enough and looked richly set and beautifully colorful. The dishes are perfectly seasoned, not overloaded with spices. The lentil soup with chicken was very tasty, slightly spicy, well seasoned. The mango lamb was very tender and slightly sweet thanks to the cashew sauce, and the mild rice and naan bread went perfectly with it. The lassi also tastes great, not too sweet. Price performance completely justified.

I regularly go out to eat in the restaurant or order something to take home. This restaurant is something Geseke needed to finally be able to show off again. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and also in Asian countries, but nowhere else is there butter chicken like here. If I were to eat it blindly I would be able to identify the taste. A win for the city of Geseke :) Great price, great service.

It's unusual that the meat is swimming in the sauce, it's a shame that the only side dish served is rice and not whole vegetables.

Very good food, nice hosts, a nice atmosphere. Great dishes with chicken, beef, lamb, duck and many vegetarian options. You can taste that someone here knows their craft and cooks with love. We will be back and can definitely recommend this new restaurant in Geseke!

The restaurant is recommended, is well located in Geseke, has its own parking spaces directly in front of the location and is also very suitable for celebrations with up to 25 people thanks to its separate party room. Very helpful and friendly owners, especially the young lady who helped us with the decoration. The food was served very attractively in original Indian metal dishes and everything looked very attractive. The only thing I would have liked was the background music, but unfortunately the music system in the party room was broken. But we had a lovely evening and my mother had a great 80th birthday party and many thanks to the Maharaja Staff in Geseke for that.

Ordered as pickup. Food was ready on time, very hot. It's best to bring a basket with you. Everything very fresh. 3 Chilli's on the menu are quite spicy by European standards. Service extremely friendly. We will definitely come back.

We were passing through Geseke on our way back to Paris and we found this restaurant on the Internet. We arrived very late but we were received like kings! The food is exquisite, the staff lovely and everything was fresh! No regrets! Don’t hesitate to try their excellent cuisine and let yourself be carried away by their warm welcome. From Recklinghausen to Geseke, had Indian food for the first time and I have to say I would eat there again at any time! The food and service were first class. When we are back in Geseke we will visit the restaurant again! Price performance more than okay.

We have been there countless times with our children and the same thing every time: Service was super fast and friendly, the men wore turbans in style. The food is very tasty and you can also order less spiciness for the children, then as an adult you can simply have a chili bread with you. If it gets too spicy, you can cool yourself down with a delicious mango lassi. The prices are also completely reasonable for a small town.

So far ok. Special requests were not taken into account and were even ignored (no sauce means no sauce). The dishes were clear and, in my opinion, not seasoned enough. In the redfish mango dish, the fish was indistinguishable, tasteless, as if none had been added at all. Ambience felt questionable, unsecured socket constructions with open cables, very difficult. All in all, quite nice, but definitely not on my list of restaurant choices for a second time

Were there for the first time yesterday and also came from a little further away. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and served hot. It tasted very fresh and flavorful. Food was also recommended to us as we were not that familiar with Indian cuisine. The portions looked small but were more than enough. But it would be possible to say that you need a larger portion, according to the waitress. All in all, definitely recommended. It's worth going there. 👍

We ordered food for over €30.. during transport the bag tore open at the bottom.. and the food ended up on the floor.. The fault is ours.. We apparently carried the bag incorrectly 😀 so now we don't eat anything and order but never there again. We went there several times with friends and ordered regularly... not again!

Ein Lichtblick und in der Kleinstadt im Umland von Paderborn. Wenn die angestammten Gastronomen die agilen und gastfreundlichen Nordinder als Empfehlung zum "Essen gehen", muss es sich lohnen, zwar bekommt man zwar nicht deutsche Hausmannskost, aber leckere indische Gerichte und Getränke. Die Kellner, sicherlich auch gleichzeitig Inhaber, sprechen perfekt deutsch. Und wenn nach dem indischen Essen noch der Absacker in der deutschen Gastwirtschaft am Markt getrunken wird, freut sich der pensionierte Wirt über beides.

Mir persönlich schmeckt das Essen sehr gut. Es gibt eine größere Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Endlich mal ein Restaurant, dass in diesem Bereich eine größere Auswahl anbietet. Dort werde ich gerne regelmäßig einkehren.

Tolles indisches Restaurant. Uns hat es bisher jedes Mal ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Am Wochenende sollte man mit größeren Gruppen vorsichtshalber reservieren, aber ansonsten bietet das Restaurant viele Plätze.

Lamentable ! ce restaurant Indien propre , bien agencé serveur et cuisinier Indien voila , sauf que l'agneau que j'ai commandé a été remplacé par du porc . Pensant qu'avec la sauce piquante je ne remarquerai pas la difference . Ce sont des tricheurs et voleurs . A éviter incapable de representer leur cuisine originale sans tricher . Beklagenswert! Dieses saubere indische Restaurant, gut ausgestatteter Kellner und indischer Koch, das war's, nur dass das Lamm, das ich bestellt hatte, durch Schweinefleisch ersetzt wurde. Ich denke, dass ich mit der scharfen Soße den Unterschied nicht bemerken würde. Sie sind Betrüger und Diebe.
