Delicious food, reasonable prices. The service was very friendly, but the server only returned to our table after we actively waved her down to order a second drink. They should pay attention to empty glasses. We sat for over 30 minutes with empty glasses and would have liked to order more sooner.

A good Indian restaurant with fairly Germanized but accurate information about the spiciness of the dishes. Everything is very tasty, but unfortunately the sauces and dips are far too sweet, and the rice needs salt. Otherwise, it's great.

We were passing through and craving Indian food. This was the only right decision! Everything was just perfect: The restaurant was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, welcoming every guest. ​We ordered homemade tea and a fish thali. Ich liebe indische Küche, habe 11 Jahre in England gelebt und dort viele Abende mit tollem indischen Essen erlebt, durchaus auch mal gehobener (London). Das hier gestern Abend war mit Abstand das beste indische Essen, das ich außerhalb von England gegessen habe! Ich freue mich riesig, jetzt in Lippstadt einen “sehr guten Inder” quasi vor der Haustür zu haben und wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: wenn man Vorspeise und/oder Naan mit den Fingern isst, ist die Serviette sofort durch und die Hände trotzdem noch fettig. Vielleicht mal über Stoffservietten oder zumindest etwas festere Papierservietten nachdenken?

The food is very diverse, even for vegans. Very tasty food in various spice levels. They even serve something hotter than Tabasco. The service is always friendly and attentive. You can now also sit and eat outside. However, it's right at the intersection.

We love eating Indian food and have been to various restaurants. I have to say that Maharaja can keep up very well! The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. We've been there a few times and always loved it.

It doesn’t matter whether we ate there or picked up the food. It was always something special. The child-friendliness on site is particularly special. Even special requests are served in a friendly manner: the children each filled up with half a Sprite of water? No problem! I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

Amazingly tasty and varied dishes! Appetizing presentation. Personally, I recommend "Paneer Kulcha". THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! The beef was a bit dry, but the rice was fluffy and soft. The atmosphere is not very cozy, 'cool', there are no little things for comfort. The staff is polite and friendly, although we waited 30 minutes for the waitress to pay.

We visited the restaurant based on the good reviews and were not disappointed, the dishes were all delicious - tender chicken, delicious curry, perfect butter naan and not forgetting the mango lassi. And all of this with very nice and attentive service - we'll be back :)

I went to Germany a year ago and tried their food and I liked it very much. Their service was very good.

The food itself is really delicious. Today I ordered in a smaller group, including 3x naan bread. The 3x naan bread consisted of 7 "flat cakes", which in our opinion was not okay for the price. Especially since a 7/3 calculation makes no sense.

Indians we trust! All of the dishes on offer are simply great in terms of quality, appearance and taste, both in the restaurant and for pick-up. The 20 minute journey is worth it every time. We are very happy to know about this type of cuisine in the area.

Anyone who likes Indian will love the Maharaja. Since the restaurant is always busy, a table should be booked. The service staff is very attentive and friendly, always comes to the table and you feel well looked after. The food is of very high quality and very nicely presented. Meat, rice, sauces and bread, all served separately. The table was just big enough and looked richly set and beautifully colorful. The dishes are perfectly seasoned, not overloaded with spices. The lentil soup with chicken was very tasty, slightly spicy, well seasoned. The mango lamb was very tender and slightly sweet thanks to the cashew sauce, and the mild rice and naan bread went perfectly with it. The lassi also tastes great, not too sweet. Price performance completely justified.

I regularly go out to eat in the restaurant or order something to take home. This restaurant is something Geseke needed to finally be able to show off again. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and also in Asian countries, but nowhere else is there butter chicken like here. If I were to eat it blindly I would be able to identify the taste. A win for the city of Geseke :) Great price, great service.

The restaurant is recommended, is well located in Geseke, has its own parking spaces directly in front of the location and is also very suitable for celebrations with up to 25 people thanks to its separate party room. Very helpful and friendly owners, especially the young lady who helped us with the decoration. The food was served very attractively in original Indian metal dishes and everything looked very attractive. The only thing I would have liked was the background music, but unfortunately the music system in the party room was broken. But we had a lovely evening and my mother had a great 80th birthday party and many thanks to the Maharaja Staff in Geseke for that.

We have been there countless times with our children and the same thing every time: Service was super fast and friendly, the men wore turbans in style. The food is very tasty and you can also order less spiciness for the children, then as an adult you can simply have a chili bread with you. If it gets too spicy, you can cool yourself down with a delicious mango lassi. The prices are also completely reasonable for a small town.
