It was again very tasty. Always happy again...

I eat the same thing every time and it's always so delicious :-) no other restaurant/delivery service comes close! My partner usually never goes to the same restaurant more than once, but he loves this one. Already 3 times and it will be more often. So very highly recommended!

We spontaneously ate here a few months ago with the voucher book and although we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed! The service and advice were great and we were immediately impressed by the Indian atmosphere of the families still sitting there! And we liked it so much that we ate there again a month later and recommended the restaurant straight away! Both times the food was made with a lot of love, worth every price! There was no annoying or negative reaction to our special requests either. The selection of dishes is enough for everyone! No matter if you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan! Everything was fresh, the vegetables were crunchy and the curries were simply irresistible. We can really recommend the naan, we always ordered several portions because it was so delicious! And I also ordered the grilled vegetables there both the first and second time. We really, really felt comfortable and I can really recommend trying out new restaurants, just because of this visit to the restaurant! We will definitely come back again! We have a new favorite restaurant that makes every drive worth it! We had a wonderful Sunday evening there and thank you for this great end to the week! All the best and see you next time :)

We've eaten here a few times now and it's always been delicious. Unfortunately we have now had bad experiences. We always say that we can't eat spicy food. And that didn't work at all this time. I think that if you guarantee that a dish is not spicy, then it has to be that way. Unfortunately we had to return a dish almost untouched. But the waitress wasn't interested in that at all. In addition, we always waited a long time for the drinks. In any case, someone only came to the table when we called. None of the waitresses asked on their own initiative. Too bad! The three of us spent almost €100. For this amount I expect something different.

Really very tasty, we always like to come back. It's great that you can choose the spiciness of the dishes.

Had dinner there yesterday, the atmosphere is very nice, the staff polite and attentive. The starter plate was well filled, so that we were almost full...the main course, chicken with super tasty sauces, met our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice building in beautiful, quiet surroundings. The staff is very friendly. And most importantly: the food is very good. We lived in Asia for a few years and enjoyed a lot of Indian cuisine. North Indian just like South Indian. I have to say the palak paneer (spinach with Indian cheese) was the best we've ever had. Very very tasty. The chicken tikka from the tandoor was very good (and extremely plentiful) and the lamb vindallo was well seasoned but didn't have enough oomph. Vindaloo is usually one of the spiciest dishes, but this was pretty flabby. So be careful: if you see 2 Cillis on the menu for very spicy, if you really want to eat Indian food, you should definitely inform the staff that you want to eat real Indian food. Now we know and will definitely come back and try out the correct card.

Ich hatte mir davon wesentlich mehr versprochen. Die Gerichte schmecken nicht wirklich Indisch. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen war komplett frittiert und mit Teig überzogen. Dazu gab es eine komische Currysauce, die irgendwie wie aus der Packung schmeckte. Das Ambiente im Inneren ist nicht wirklich gut. Wir haben im September hier gefroren. Eigentlich ist die Qualität mehr Imbiss als Restaurant. Die Preise sind allerdings genau umgekehrt.

The Maha Vishnu restaurant is located in an excellent location, where you have the opportunity to sit both in the stylish indoor area with authentic Indian decoration and outdoors. I would particularly like to highlight the courteous restaurant owner and the team of waiters who lovingly looked after the birthday party. It was a pleasant surprise that there was even a mocktail for the birthday child - a really nice, personal touch! The service was excellent – ​​from reception to farewell. The wait staff was always patient and friendly, which made the entire experience very pleasant. The selection of dishes was varied and exceeded all my expectations. A big thank you to the chefs and the entire kitchen team for these wonderful dishes. I can definitely recommend the restaurant “Maha Vishnu”!

Die Vorspeisen hatten nicht viel mit indischen Essen zu tun. Es war lediglich frittiertes Gemüse mit Teigummantelung, das darüber hinaus sehr geschmacklos war. Die Hauptgerichte waren dagegen lecker, wenngleich auch noch Luft nach oben war. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich, aber planlos und sehr langsam. An Getränke musste mehrfach erinnert werden. Ein schmutziger Teller wurde serviert. Nachdem ich diesen reklamierte, dauerte es lang, bis er ausgetauscht wurde. Das Essen stand mittlerweile schon auf dem Tisch. Über das Ambiente kann ich nicht viel sagen, da wir draußen saßen und dort einfach nur Tische und Stühle standen. Die Tische dürfen ruhig öfter mal gewischt werden. Alles in allem war der Besuch ok, aber mit noch viel Potential nach oben.

We explored this place just by biking around in a forest next to it. Loved the location and atmosphere! As it's a Biergarten, so you can enjoy the food and drinks outdoors. The food was authentic and the staff was very friendly.

Eigentlich bewerte ich nur, wenn etwas außerordentlich gut oder eben außerordentlich schlecht war. Leider ist in diesem Restaurant heute 2. der Fall gewesen. Nachdem wir bereits einmal kurz nach der Eröffnung dort waren und das Essen völlig in Ordnung war, haben wir uns wieder auf indisches Essen bei sommerlichen Temperaturen in diesem Restaurant gefreut. Nachdem wir die Karten bekommen haben, wurde relativ zügig die Bestellung aufgenommen. Klassisch haben wir 2 Getränke, 2 Vorspeisen und 2 Hauptgerichte bestellt. Die Vorspeisen kamen nach circa einer halben Stunde, wobei zu diesem Zeitpunkt - trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage - die Getränke noch immer nicht da waren. Die Pankoras waren okay, die Samosas waren so geschmacklos und trocken, dass sogar die Füllung heraus gebröselt ist. Kurz nach dem Abräumen der Vorspeise kamen dann tatsächlich auch endlich die Getränke. Wir freuten uns auf die Hauptspeise, wobei das Chicken Tikka Masala trotz Soße trocken und geschmacksneutral war. Die Mixed Tandooriplatte dagegen war fast nicht genießbar. Alles staubtrocken, kaum Gewürze, das Hühnchen war dank fehlender Getränke kaum herunter zu bekommen und der Lachs hatte einen komischen Beigeschmack. Auch beim Kebab war ich mir nicht sicher, was Bestandteil dieses Fleisches war. Immerhin war das Nan-Brot warm und frisch. Als wir den Service darauf hingewiesen, haben wurde nur mitgeteilt, dass die Küche informiert wird. Sowas verstehen wir nicht unter gutem Service und wir werden sicherlich nicht noch mal in diesem Restaurant zu Gast sein.

Actually, I only rate something if something was exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Unfortunately, the second thing happened in this restaurant today. After we had already been there shortly after the opening and the food was completely fine, we were looking forward to Indian food in summer temperatures in this restaurant again. After we received the cards, the order was placed relatively quickly. Classically, we ordered 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 main courses. The starters arrived after about half an hour, and at that point - despite repeated requests - the drinks still hadn't arrived. The pankoras were okay, the samosas were so tasteless and dry that even the filling crumbled out. Shortly after clearing away the starters, the drinks finally arrived. We were looking forward to the main course, although the Chicken Tikka Masala was dry and tasteless despite the sauce. The mixed tandoori platter, on the other hand, was almost inedible. Everything was bone dry, hardly any spices, the chicken was hard to eat thanks to the lack of drinks and the salmon had a strange aftertaste. Even with the kebab, I wasn't sure what the meat was made of. At least the nan bread was warm and fresh. When we pointed this out to service, they only told us that the kitchen would be informed. We don't understand that as good service and we certainly won't be visiting this restaurant again.

The starters didn't have much to do with Indian food. It was just fried vegetables covered in batter, which was also very tasteless. The main courses, on the other hand, were tasty, although there was still room for improvement. The service staff were friendly, but haphazard and very slow. Drinks had to be reminded several times. A dirty plate was served. After I complained about it, it took a long time until it was replaced. The food was already on the table by now. I can't say much about the ambience because we sat outside and there were just tables and chairs. The tables can be wiped more often. All in all, the visit was ok, but still had a lot of potential for improvement.

I'm not an expert on India, but I've rarely eaten as well as I did here. Great service (for me, as a completely uninformed person, very helpful) and great food. Any time.

On a summer evening you can sit outside on the terrace very nicely. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with questions about the various dishes. The vegetable curry was just as delicious as the classic chicken curry.

I was skeptical at first when I heard we were going to the "Inder" - but I was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty, definitely not my last visit there!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen da.. Wir hatten zuerst bedenken, ob jeder etwas auf der Karte findet was ihm zusagt. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Selbst die Leute, die der fremden Küche eher skeptisch gegenüber stehen haben etwas gefunden. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Man sollte nur bei der Bestellung daran denken, die indische Küche ist normalerweise sehr scharf. Die Gerichte werden aber auf Wunsch etwas milder serviert. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und der Service gut.

We went there on Easter Monday without an appointment and were kindly given a table. The atmosphere is very nice and there are enough parking spaces. We ordered naan bread for the starter and rice dishes with meat for the main course. The food was very tasty and the portions were sufficient. We were particularly impressed by the customer-friendly service. We'd love to come back!

The food is very tasty and the service is extremely friendly. The fact that there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian dishes is also positive. However, the portion size is almost outrageously small. For a main course for just under 16 euros there was just 3, in words THREE vegetable balls and some white flour rice. That's a shame, because unfortunately you just don't get full... Whether you put on 200 g or 400 g of rice or make 3 or 6 vegetable balls - or let's be honest: defrost ;) - it really makes a difference in the price of the kitchen no difference. It's a shame that you quickly disappoint your guests this way...

I was traveling for my work trip and was craving for an Indian food and found Maha Vishnu . It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. Great food and amazing service l. I am glad my colleague enjoyed as well and I will definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work!

A beautifully located restaurant with a lovingly landscaped outdoor area. The ambience is convincing, but unfortunately the food is not. My main course was blandly seasoned and tasted boring. The paneer squeaked between my teeth, something I've never experienced before and wasn't pleasant either. The quantity was economical, my husband would have had to order several main courses to fill him up.

Unfortunately we had no luck during our visit. We waited 20 minutes for someone to at least take our drinks. We were put off several times that there was too much to do. The restaurant was very busy, but the guests shouldn't suffer from that. But the waiters are very nice and helpful. We didn't like the starter plate, everything was cold and bland and tasted the same, except for the chicken rolls, which were very good. Then for the main course, chili chicken with a chili, not spicy and you couldn't taste the Indian spices. The lamb curry was equally tasteless. We were guided by the photos and the positive reviews, which we cannot understand. Conclusion: A bad three for the food. Honestly, we missed the variety of spices in Indian cuisine. Unfortunately we won't be coming again.

We ordered takeaway for the first time today. We were warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. It's really nice how the team at Maha Vishnu welcomes you. It was my girls' first time in an Indian restaurant and they were completely overwhelmed by the choice of food. However, the question marks were resolved quickly and easily by the always friendly, non-intrusive and helpful service staff. My girls were then completely satisfied with the recommendations. PS: The level of spiciness can be adjusted accordingly for each dish with a short request. Definitely recommended for anyone who is interested in Indian cuisine, although the dishes have of course been adapted somewhat to us sensitive Europeans, but as I said, this can easily be done with a short request be sharpened ;-)

German/Indian restaurant. We love Indian but this was Indian without all the flavor and spices (German). Ordered medium hot - obviously that means not hot and no spices. The best dishes were the butter chicken and the garlic naan. The worst were the Keema Naan (no meat), the Lamb (pureed frozen spinach), Chicken Tikka (dry and no real taste), Daal (overpriced and underseasoned). The mixed starters for 2 were a selection of fried pieces that all tasted the same (deep fryer grease). I will also never understand why the naan is cut into pieces. The restaurant is nicely located but it feels cold, a bit like a train station. The service was attentive and friendly and the prices were reasonable. We were there today with six people. The reservation was easy to make in advance via the website. The food is just as delicious as it looks. The selection is good and you should be able to find something for every taste. The prices are absolutely fine. We will be back definitely. PS: if it says “very spicy”, it is 😂

Eines der besten Indischen Restaurants in der Gegend. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Super Service, exzellentes Essen, gute Atmosphäre.

Es gibt hier viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte. Das Essen war bisher jedes Mal sehr lecker und die Portionen sind gut - nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Man kann das Gericht ansonsten auch einpacken lassen. Die Gerichte sind sehr mild und damit auch für empfindliche Gäste geeignet. Aus der Inneneinrichtung hätte man mehr holen können, finde ich. Es ist sauber, ordentlich und funktional aber das Ambiente ist nicht stimmig. Es ist zu hell, die Einrichtung nichts besonderes und fast etwas zusammengewürfelt. Wir sitzen im Sommer aber sehr gerne draußen.

Die angenehme Atmosphäre und die authentische Dekoration rundeten mein positives Erlebnis ab. Insgesamt ein Restaurant, das ich wärmstens empfehlen kann und definitiv erneut besuchen werde!

Gutes indisches Essen. Tatsächlich auch ein bisschen scharf. Das Linsenbrot hat uns besonders gut geschmeckt. Die Dips dazu allerdings weniger. Aufmerksamer Service. Bei Gelegenheit werden wir wieder kommen.

Wir hatten Ende September 2023 unsere Hochzeitsfeier im Maha Vishnu gefeiert. Bei der Planung hatten wir Anfangs mehrere Locations aufgesucht und uns schlussendlich für dieses schöne Ambiente entschieden. Warum in einem indischen Restaurant: Zum einen liegt das Restaurant in ruhiger Lage in der Ohligser Heide. Es gibt genug Parkplätze vor der Türe und die Gegend lädt auch gerne nach einem guten Essen zum Spazieren gehen ein. Weiterhin wurden wir bei der Planung sehr kompetent unterstützt. Egal, ob es um das Essen ging oder wie das Ambiente später geschmückt sein soll...immer waren gute und passende Ideen dabei. Wir haben vorher selbstverständlich die Essensauswahl an mehreren Terminen wahrgenommen (so viel kann man bei der Auswahl an einem Abend gar nicht essen). Auch kurzfristige Änderungen wurden direkt umgesetzt. Die Getränkeauswahl wurde uns auch vorher in Form einer kleinen Weinverköstigung präsentiert. Zudem wurde auch während der Feier jeder Getränkewunsch perfekt erfüllt. Wir hatten hier eine sehr schöne Hochzeitsfeier die keine Wünsche offen ließ (Ok, das Wetter hätte tatsächlich einen Tick besser sein können, aber da hat man nun mal keinen Einfluss drauf.). Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr tollen Abend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und können das Restaurant und das Ambiente mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Vor allem im Sommer kann man hier sehr sehr gut draußen verweilen und die Ruhe genießen. Bisher haben wir es aber leider nicht geschafft uns durch die komplette Karte zu essen....jedes Gericht war hier ein absolutes Highlight....wir bleiben aber dran und würden dann bestimmt wieder von vorne anfangen ;-) Wer übrigens richtig Hunger mitbringt sollte den "Mixed Tandoori Teller" nehmen....erstklassig...!!!

Einfach super! Sehr leckeres Essen, serviert von höflichen und aufmerksamem Kellnerinnen. Die Lage direkt im Grünen ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Wir werden noch öfter hierher kommen 😊

Ein Ort, den ich gerne besuche, wenn ich eine genussvolle, friedliche Mahlzeit genießen möchte.
