Maerz Kocht Kantine in Dresden

A great canteen with delicious food and nice staff 😀 The space is a bit small for the lunch rush, but in the summer you can sit outside again 👍🏻

Operation and service are well above what you would expect from a classic canteen. Everyone is nice, accommodating, and friendly. Sometimes things don't go completely smoothly, but that happens. What bothers me more is that the price-performance ratio has shifted. A while ago the portions were almost impossible to eat, but the price was almost surprisingly pleasant. Since then, prices have risen and portions have become smaller. I understand that a canteen also has to work economically and that the cost of goods and personnel has increased. But in some places it unfortunately tips into dissatisfaction. For pasta with Bolognese, rigatoni is now used instead of spirelli or spaghetti because the plate is then filled with less product, some of it is still cold, and the Bolognese today was more of a soup than a sauce. I no longer think this is okay for 6.90. It's a shame, that used to be better.

The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. I had the neck with potatoes and beans, the meat was soft, everything was well seasoned. I liked it and ate to my heart's content.👍

Underground, an hour after opening, no more pasta....the "sausage goulash" saw the pan from afar....6.90 euros for bland food...once and never again

Good, fast and friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, is always clean and tidy. The food tastes very good and is varied. Mr. Maerz is always in a good mood and makes the lunch break more fun for the customers. Me and my colleagues eat there every day.

I'm super happy with everything. The chef is very, very pleasant and radiates positive energy. I personally like the food he prepares with his colleague! I go to the canteen almost every day and so far there hasn't been a single dish that I didn't like. I personally think the introduction of the salad buffet is great. This way I have a balanced meal. I always look forward to going to the canteen. From the bottom of my heart I mean the woman with the cool shoes (note to the chef)!

It is a classic canteen so please adjust your expectations accordingly. It was clean with solid dishes and friendly service. Price and performance suit me.

Sometimes somewhat questionable combinations, sometimes not enough on the plate... sauces are often saved. Otherwise a classic “canteen”.

Really a very good place to eat something warm during your lunch break. Price / offer: Very good. Varied menu. Nice personel.

Good alternative for nearby offices.

Always delicious and I love going there.
