The rice was the best part of the whole meal. There were bones and indefinable pieces in the butter chicken. The salad was stale and the nan bread was more like a dry cake than anything else.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are both amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Everything we tried was on point. Great spot for a comforting meal in the middle of shopping. Highly recommend!

Don't let the name fool you—this place has nothing to do with Madrid: It's all about Indian cuisine, with a huge variety and plenty of vegetarian options. Just the way I like it. ✨

The food was below average. The bread was extremely greasy. The taste wasn't convincing either and the rice didn't really taste fresh. A fast food experience that I would have gladly avoided. Service very friendly!

Good for the price, in particular during lunch time. Madrido has been in Bikini for a long time. It always serves nice Indian food with super reasonable prices. Now it moved inside Canteen area and its price has changed but still reasonable enough. Staff are friendly. A lunch set (main with rice, salad and drink) with €10 is great. I don't say it is the best Indian but absolutely recommendable. Zoo has only few places that I can eat reasonable casual food, so all shops in Canteen are helpful for me (they have from hamburgers to Korean, ramen, Vietnamese, Swiss, etc etc).

Absolutely delicious chicken curry with 0.3l soft drink and salad for €10. The portion is absolutely sufficient and the staff is friendly, even if you have a question. The salad is fresh with carrots, apple, cucumber, pineapple and tomatoes. Maybe not everyone likes it, but I liked it when it was fresh. You can add bread for €2.50. It is warmed up briefly. Recommendation is clear for the garlic variant. It was quite full, but we still found a place. Card payment is also possible. Gladly again.

I just had dinner there with my family. We became aware of Madrido through a friendly “Hello”. We tried 4 different dishes and they all tasted great. Great portion and the price-performance ratio was also right. 10€ including soft drink ☺️🙏🏼 We'll be back 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ok, let's look past the Naan. They're not brilliant but mop up the sauce. Had the chickpea curry. Very tasty, could taste the cardamom in the rice and the salad was fresh. Portion size was big, enough to fill a big northerner. Cheap too, recommend.

Fantastically good food!! Great value for money too! A large plate of rice, "chicken korma" stew and salad in addition to a drink of your choice. My two friends ate "Mango chicken" and "chicken curry", all extremely good! Very nice and attentive staff too! Highly recommended.

I wonder what is worse, the food or the service. I lean towards service.

Berlin eateries tend to dumb down the spice and herb profiles. Mall eateries do the same. Combine both, and you get this very middle of the road place, safer than a dodgem car. The Dahl was fine, though cardoman, cumin, coriander, and the spices of whichever region this place could be from would elevate the place remarkably. Wouldn't remarkable be great? The bread too could be so much more, and is much more in many similar places that aren't berlin (like Sydney, my other home town). Safe eating, good value. Could be much more, quite easily.

Good news! All curry options are gluten free. I had the chicken curry which comes with boiled rice and a soft drink for only 10 euros. They also have vegan curries available too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Accepts contactless payments.

ATTENTION WHEN PAYING BY CARD! If you pay with a debit card in this restaurant, you should definitely check your bank statements! I was debited a total of 50 euros too much on different days! So it could be a scam. When I tried to get my money back, I was held back for over a month by the manager in a very rude manner. The money is gone and the police report is out. I can only expressly warn you!

A hidden gem! Had dinner there in a Tuesday around 7pm. The shopping mall was deserted, the service and food incredible. I even got to try dishes (vegetarian who doesn't like it too spicy). A full, tasty meal with fresh salad and drink for 10 euros. Incredible. I'll be back!

Great food, and a great deal - 10 euros for the meat of your choice with rice, salad and a soft drink. Had the tikka masala chicken and it was awesome, would definitely visit again.

Where else can you get such a good price-performance ratio? Anyone who complains about a €10 main course including a soft drink is unfair and presumptuous. The employees should also earn something. Nowhere else is there such a cheap meal offer all day long. The vegetarian dishes have been very tasty so far. Thank you. And that in the middle of Berlin.

Super good food at a very good price

The food is actually really tasty and plentiful. Why I only give it 3 stars is because my butter chicken had bones and cartilage in it as well as limp skin. And that doesn't work at all! My partner's curry chicken, on the other hand, was good and the meat was also great! The price is great for a dish with rice and salad + 0.3 drink for €10

A meal once cost €5. After Corona it went up to €6 and later to €8 for a meal. Now you have to add a drink and this “flat rate” (as it is incorrectly called here) costs €10… The food tastes good but I can no longer keep up with a price increase of 100% in the last 2-3 years. A pity ….

A pearl in Berlin. For 10 euros you get a big meal to enjoy with a drink. 0.5l beer cost only 3.5 euro.

The staff was not very friendly and helpful. Difficult to understand as well. Unfortunately, I had gastrointestinal upset afterwards. Cannot recommend it. Bathroom usage costs 70 cents!

A very large portion for €10 plus a drink of your choice.

Leider hat sich der Preis das Hauptgerichtes verdoppelt. Vorher kostete das 5 €, incl. Reis und Salat. Jetzt gibt es zwar noch ein 0,3 Getränk dazu! Aber das rechtfertigt nicht die Preissteigerung um 50%. Schade

Alles war wirklich sehr gut 👍 Gute Auswahl, gute Preise und sehr guter Service.

Die essen war wirklich schlecht. Ich hatte ein fish und chicken curry bestellt. Die Händchen Curry war verdoben und reicht und schmeckt schlechter. Glaub mir das ist eher Abstand schlechte Essen was heute gegessen habe. Biite nicht hier essen. Ich habe das Restaurant Leiter gesagt und sie sagt das ist ok. Wir kann mann das sagen wann ich ganz ding nicht gegessen. Ich bin vom Süd Indien und das zueg was hier verkauft wurde ist nicht gut. Ich hat durchfall.

Fantastic food and excellent guidance by the staff.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut & lecker, zu einem günstigen Preis. Die Portionen sind völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erklärte mir als Laien, die Gerichte der indischen Küche. Die Toiletten befinden sich im Haus und sind sehr sauber.

Leckeres indisches Essen mit einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (auch nach der Preiserhöhung)! Und der Besitzer ist wirklich super nett und immer zu Späßen aufgelegt. Danke euch, dass ihr mich mehrmals die Woche mit leckerem Mittagessen versorgt! :)

Absolut unverschämt abgerechnet worden, habe für ein normales Menü 15€ bezahlt weil die Beilage lediglich getauscht habe. Auch nach Erklärung ließ die Besitzerin nicht mit sich reden. Äußerst unprofessionell!

Liegt im Obergeschoss des Biki-Hauses. Es gibt dort indische Gerichte. Ich hatte ein Tandoori-Chicken. Lecker.

Riesige Auswahl und super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Für 10€ bekommt man ein Menü aus eine großen Portion Reis, einem Curry nach Wahl (auch vegane Optionen!) und ein Getränk (der Mango-Lassi schmeckte super 😋). Naan Brot kann man für 2,50€ dazu kaufen. Das Bikini Berlin an sich und die Kantini ist super zum Sitzen und entspannen. Unbedingt hinter noch die Paviane im Zoo durch die große Fensterscheibe beobachten 😉

Tolles indischen Essen und leckere Cocktails. Ich finde den Bereich oben einfach schön, super zum arbeiten oder entspannen, mit Schaukel.

Wer Lust auf ein tolles indisches Essen hat ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Diese Restauration liegt im Bikini Haus im ersten Stock das Restaurant selber war irgendwie eine Bedienungstheke etwas unklar was dort alles zu bestellen ist und war gestern sehr leer also an einem Samstag um 17 Uhr etwa

3 Sterne für leckere indische Gerichte ohne Wartezeit. Freundlicher Service in schöner Location am Zoo. Der Preis wurde nun leider auf 8Euro erhöht, somit ist das 5Euro Argument eines sehr günstigen Mittagstisches der ganzen unteren Beiträge nicht mehr aktuell. Dies ist schade, aber in der aktuellen Lage zu einem gewissen Grade verständlich. Auch wenn es so scheint, als ob viele Preise aktuell einfach so erhöht werden, einfach um "mitzuziehen" und weil es alle machen (nicht spezifisch auf dieses Restaurant bezogen). Manchmal belegen außerdem bestimmte Mitarbeiter die Teller fast schon ängstlich mit viel weniger Reis/ Salat als der Inhaber. Hier ist definitiv noch Potential vorhanden, um einheitliche Portionen sicher zu stellen. Es ist suboptimal, wenn man am einen Tag eine normale Portion Salat hat und am nächsten kaum ein paar Blättchen. Abzug gibt es zudem für die, zur Gast- Seite aktuell komplett offenen Behälter der Speisen. Wenn hier eine lange Schlange vor den Gerichten steht (wie es mittags der Fall ist) und Gäste bei der Auswahl des Gerichtes sprechen/ Husten etc. ist leider absolut keine Hygiene gewährleistet. Insbesondere, da es sich größtenteils um flüssige Currys handelt. Hier bitte ganz dringend eine Scheibe auch zur Seite der Gäste anbringen. Dies wünschen sich denke ich viele der Gäste und ihr steigert damit sicher den Verkauf. Mit den Optimierungen gebe ich dann gerne ein Update auf 5 Sterne. Danke!

Mehrmals verschiedene Currys ausprobiert und immer zufrieden gewesen. Ordentliche Portionen mit Safranreis und einem kleinen Salat dazu. Für neuerdings 8 Euro preislich aber immernoch total okay. Für 10 Euro gibt es ein Getränk dazu.

Sehr lecker! Für 5€ ein Hauptgericht mit Salat und Reis und ausreichender Menge. Preis Leistung könnte nicht besser sein. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Man kann bei einem indischen Hauptgericht mit etwas Salat für 5 € nun wirklich nicht viel erwarten...bekommt es aber!! Mega lecker und große Portionen zum Top-Preis. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr preiswert. Reis, etwas Salat und in meinem Fall ein Schüsselchen Tikka Masalla für 5 Euro. Das Corona kam auch nur 2,50 Euro. Wer Gewürze mag wird es mögen. Für einen Imbis wirklich super.

Das Curry hier ist köstlich. Außerdem können Sie dieses leckere Curry für 5 Euro sofort essen, ohne 5 Minuten warten zu müssen. Lam-Curry, Chicken-Curry und Beef-Masala-Curry sind alle köstlich, aber meine Empfehlung Nummer eins ist Beef-Kebab-Curry. Das gut gewürzte Dönerfleisch ist sehr saftig und lecker und passt gut zum Curry. Wenn du Fleisch magst, möchte ich auf jeden Fall, dass du es mindestens einmal isst. Der Service ist auch sehr gut, sie sind nett und freundlich. Mango Lassi mit exquisiter Süße schmeckt am besten zu Curry.

Lecker und unschlagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Wir waren zu dritt, hatten 3 verschiedene Gerichte und waren so begeistert, dass wir ein zweites Mal kamen, nicht nur das Hauptgericht mit dem Reis war gut, insbesondere auch der Salat, den es dazu gab, war sehr lecker. Leider wohnen wir nicht in Berlin, sonst kämen wir mit Sicherheit jede Woche wieder. Ach ja, und das Essen ist indisch! Nicht spanisch, wie der Name suggeriert.
