LU'S BURGER in Hanau

I was there last night at 9:30 p.m. and they said the kitchen was already closed, I was wondering why the opening hours should be until 10 p.m. when the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m., so there is no cafe bar or something you can drink. So for my first visit I would say not a good impression at all

Eating Fe-nominal without words. The best burgers I've ever eaten. And I live in FFM. Where the best burger shops are supposed to be. The burgers are handy and the portion is decent. You will definitely be satisfied for what you give. Only recommended. They also very kindly provided dates from Palestine and water for the fasting brothers. It's always worth it for the 1 hour drive there and back.

Ich gehe zwar als Gast hierhin, aber ausstehen kann ich diesen Laden trotzdem nicht. Habe mal hier vor knapp 2 Jahren nach einem Job gefragt. Obwohl dringend gesucht wurde und ich auch alles mitbrachte, was man benötigt und sogar noch Erfahrung als Beikoch in einem Burgerrestaurant besaß, war das Interesse an mir auf einmal weg, nachdem man mich über WhatsApp nach meinem Namen fragte und ich diesen nannte. Von da an hatte man sich nicht mehr bei mir gemeldet. Eine Erfahrung, die ich nie vergesse und die mich bis heute kränkt.

A small, cozy burger shop in downtown Hanau. If you're looking for a good burger, you've come to the right place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, points are only deducted because of the self-service system because that is simply not my thing and is a personal thing. This has absolutely nothing to do with the staff, but let's get to the burgers. I ordered “The Legend” with a double patty and it was just a pure explosion of flavor right down to the last bite. I'm rarely so impressed with a burger - everything was just right. Fries were also delicious and deliciously seasoned + the truffle parmesan mayo was a new experience for the palate. Korean chicken fries were also solid and a decent portion too. We were more than full here. So you have gained a new customer and I can warmly recommend this burger shop to everyone. Keep it up 👍 👏

The cheeseburger is a blast! Everything is very consistent.

We ate there and the restaurant was well attended. There were a total of 4 employees behind the counter. A maximum of 25 guests in the restaurant with self-service. When I asked about wheat-free burger buns, I was recommended the pretzel bun. When I pointed out that pretzel rolls are usually made from wheat, no one could answer. I was then recommended the whole grain bun (but that was probably made from wheat). I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and truffle sauce, my husband ordered a masterpiece (Philly cheese steak) with fries and ketchup. Unfortunately, despite the many employees, the tables were not clean. When asked, an employee wiped our table but only half where we ate, the rest remained dirty. The menus that are available in the restaurant differ in price and content from the illuminated boards in the restaurant, as well as from the menu on the Internet! The food came within 10-15 minutes. The fries were good and the portion was generous. Unfortunately, both of the Burger Buns were not warm/roasted but rather soft/mushy. My burger was ordered without tomatoes and onions, but unfortunately it came with both. The taste of the burger was okay, but unfortunately it wasn't anymore. My husband's Philly cheese steak, on the other hand, was honestly inedible. The meat was tough and streaky, making it difficult to bite off. The burger as a whole was too dry, so my husband didn't even eat a third... All in all very disappointing and for us it will have been the first and last visit...

At a price of 15.90 euros for a burger without any side dishes, I cringed for a moment. But the “masterpiece” burger is worth every euro 😋😍 It's rare to come across such a delicious, juicy and generously topped burger. It's worth going to Hanau for that alone 👍 I'll definitely come back.

I was in this burger shop in Hanau for the first time today and I am absolutely thrilled! From the first bite you could already tell that an incredible amount of love and passion goes into the work here. The smashburgers were by far the best I've ever eaten in my life - absolutely unique in taste. I was also impressed by the variety on the menu: In addition to classic burgers, there are vegetarian versions, chicken burgers and something to suit every taste. The side dishes were perfectly prepared and the selection of drinks left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere in the restaurant was simply captivating - you could tell that the place was alive! The energy of the people sitting there, the friendly and helpful staff, everything contributes to an unforgettable experience. Even the toilet facilities were clean and well maintained - that just rounds off the positive impression. For me, this shop is an absolute insider tip in Hanau. If you love burgers, you should definitely try it. I'll definitely be back!

The food here is always really delicious! The employees are also friendly. I really enjoy eating here and have only heard positive things about this restaurant. I particularly appreciate that the emphasis here is on drinks and that no Cola, Fanta or similar products are sold. This shows that a conscious and special approach is being pursued here. 😄 Absolutely recommended!

A must for burger lovers. The burgers are juicy and tasty, especially the “Meisterstück” and the “Legend” are highly recommended. The homemade sauces and well-seasoned fries complete the experience. Overall, LU's Burger offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth a visit.

Everything has really already been said. Best burger far and wide. Point! I don't know where there is a better one in the area. Service is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. It's also nice that you can sit outside. You just have to wait a few minutes. Especially at peak times. But everything is made fresh. We're not at McDonald's :) Absolute top address for Hanau. Now all that's missing is the delivery service. (At least for the City/HU North and West) :)) Addendum: Is meat halal? Then that is no longer an option for me. I will not support this animal cruelty. It's a shame that something like that is even allowed to be sold in Germany!

Burger super tasty and super juicy, size just right. Fries well seasoned, both cheese sauce and special sauce really good. Attention: at peak times the waiting time is very long, you may need to order online in advance or set the waiting time (~ 1 hour).

It's best to go there full, until you get a burger (> 1 hour), you'll definitely be hungry. only recommended if you have a lot of time

Burgers very awesome, waiting time very long, after 30 minutes I got my food, unfortunately cold. Unfortunately it doesn't happen rarely...

The black packaging was half open and wasn't packed properly. You couldn't identify which burgers they were and who they were supposed to belong to in the end! There was literally almost no meat in a burger! Tomato arugula and sauce that’s it. The other two burgers / almost 15/16 euros per burger were simply not edible, the bun was so greasy that you couldn't separate it and eat it and it was so sticky!!! Paid with Ppal v.d. Ordered website. The burger we ordered wasn't available on site. We were supposed to choose something else, avocado wasn't given. The two chili cheese sauces I ordered and paid for were no longer available! I'd rather go to Frankfurt. It's a shame about the 50€, we threw the food away and couldn't eat it! The only thing you could eat were the sweet potato fries. Waited for more than an hour and didn't get what was ordered. I don't like to give negative feedback when something is wrong with the food, but this has never happened to me. As much as I'm sorry, when you pay more than usual for a burger you at least expect something edible! The food has nothing to do with what is posted on Instagram and the website.

Lu's Burger is the perfect place to get a sore throat. The burger I was served was a prime example of culinary failure. Extremely greasy and soggy, it felt like I was biting into an old, poorly maintained grill, the meat was a tragedy that tasted more like cardboard than juicy beef. The bread bun? A mushy something that looked like a spongy imitation of bread. It was so soggy I wondered if it had been marinated in a broth made from old frying oil. And the “homemade” sauce? A taste disaster that ultimately ruined any attempt at a tasty dish. I don't know what was in there, but it offended my taste buds. The fries were no better, they were old and greasy, like a wayward potato pancake that has decided to put its best days behind it. You'd think they'd drowned in a lake of oil, they weren't that crispy. And the service? An absolute disaster. The employees seemed annoyed and uninterested, as if I was rousing them from their deep nap. I had to wait what felt like an eternity for my order, even though we had ordered beforehand, and then the store said we had to check whether we could even place the order?! and when the order finally came, I was more disappointed than hungry. The staff seemed more preoccupied with their “end of work” than with the customers, and when I asked for help I only got rude answers. Overall, my visit to Lu's Burger was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. If you're craving good burgers, stay away from this place. There's nothing here but excess fat, taste disappointments and service that makes you feel unwanted.

Unfortunately, my experience with the burger joint was extremely disappointing. I tried to order by phone several times, but no one answered, even though I could hear the doorbell ringing. This lack of availability came across as unprofessional and made me feel like I wasn't being taken seriously. When I finally got to the store, despite ordering at 9:20 p.m., I had to wait until 9:55 p.m. without the food being ready. 35 minutes for a burger is simply too long, especially at a late hour when there would be less activity. This left the impression of poor organization. To make matters worse, the burger itself wasn't good either. Overall, an unsatisfactory experience that has a lot of catching up to do in terms of service and quality.

Hello dear burger lovers! I have never eaten such a bad burger in my entire food life, it was very bad. We tried to call there several times at 9 p.m. and no one answered. When we were there, we made test calls. It rang, but they deliberately didn't answer When I ate the burger where it was rotten, I gave it back and wanted something else, they didn't come to me, I've never seen anything like that! To be honest, this was my second visit. Although we pointed out several times that we would like no raw onions and instead have caramelized ones on our burgers, unfortunately we were not listened to. The sauce on our burger that we wanted was also incorrectly topped and ignored. The burgers didn't really arrive warm, rather cold. The fries, on the other hand, were decent and quite a lot, which is definitely great. Even if it's full, it would be great if you could listen to the guest.

The tables we chose were not cleaned. This is completely normal and not bad. I kindly asked to wipe the tables once. Afterwards someone was sent to wipe the tables - all the empty tables, just not the one where we were sitting. After I pointed this out in a friendly manner, the answer came: "Can't you just sit somewhere else?". I chose this place specifically because the wind bothered me when I opened the door (eye surgery, wind bothers me). It's not okay for customers to be turned off like this. The menus were also served incorrectly on the tray (burger side dishes swapped). There was no cutlery provided, nor was there any cutlery to pick up yourself. I ask for cutlery and the gentleman at the counter gives me two forks, even though he knows there are four of us...Well...service is better. The burger itself was tasty, but the side dish was too crispy and partly burnt. Conclusion: Burger tasty, atmosphere good. Service still has a lot of room for improvement.

Lus burger combines the perfect combination with the ambience and the food. The citizens were well done and still very juicy. The sauces went perfectly with the dish and the chicken bites were heavenly. The staff is friendly and clearly enjoys their work. You can afford the prices for this excellent quality.

I have been a customer at Lu's Burger since the store opened and have recommended the store to many friends and visit the restaurant myself regularly. Unfortunately, like several friends of mine, I have the impression that customers are not valued. Today we ordered 2 menus and waited a whopping 1 hour and 5 minutes for our food. We angrily passed this on to the kitchen and as an "apology" we got a drink on the house... we didn't come here to drink, the next time, if this even happens, I'll ask for my money back. What are we paying for because otherwise FOOD/SERVICE. 3 weeks ago I came to the store (8:10 p.m.) with a group of friends from out of town who I wanted to show the restaurant to and we were sent home even though the store wasn't closed for a LONG time. The workers are also not only unfriendly, I have the feeling that they don't want to work at all, because we, the paying customers, are made to feel as if we are to blame for their bad mood, it's not just me, it's the same for many people I know to whom I recommended the store. I don't want to eat here again until something changes... Unfortunately I was very disappointed... What a shame.

We stopped for dinner in Hanau and were thrilled by the delicious burgers (and side dishes). Everything is kept very clear, the restaurant is also very nicely done and the staff is super friendly. Afterwards there was a milkshake of the finest quality ;)

You definitely have to go for a really tasty burger and the fries are also very tasty.

Lu's Burger bietet wirklich hervorragende Burger - schön saftig und unglaublich lecker. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Vielfalt an Pommes, die zur Auswahl steht. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis für Burger-Liebhaber. Einziges Manko für uns war, dass man die Bestellung vorne tätigen und die Burger selbst abholen musste und wieder wegräumen musste. Es gab keine Bedienung am Tisch und die Getränkeauswahl war für uns nicht optimal.

We went to Lu's Burger for the first time today. We ordered two burger menus with fries and drinks. After cleaning up the trash from the guests in front of us, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, a burger menu was completely forgotten. After the second menu was ready, we were given two extra sauces as an apology. The burger itself was delicious, the Joppie sauce is very dominant in taste, so that the taste of the meat was somewhat masked. I think the fries could have been a little crispier. All in all, you probably have to allow a little more time if the store is busy. The burger is really tasty and the ingredients were very fresh. We probably won't eat there again though.

Super tasty burgers, very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, but very long waiting time, longer than 30 minutes for a burger, very dirty toilet and the trays that you put away yourself were piling up. 20 pieces including leftover food, servings, etc. on a large, long shelf that was already completely overflowing, not a pretty sight. We were there on a Saturday evening.
